What is this? This thread will contain all the information we know about our favorite character Sirius Black from the Harry Potter Books.
Since we are his Fan club we should know more about him, Right? Right.
Then in this thread post any fact or piece of information you know related to Sirius Black and one of the SBFC mods will validate it and edit it into this first post neatly.
Now a few rules to remind us all:
* Chatting is for the chat thread, so keep it to a minimum in here.
* Do not copy and paste information from other sites or Sirius Black fansites, we will know!.
* When you make a post, mark your facts clearly for example:
- Sirius has a younger brother called Regulus.
- Sirius has fathomless grey eyes.
and so on..
*Please do not post more than 5 facts per post, this is to allow other members to assist in compiling information about him. The whole purpose is to make the entire Fan Club contribute.

Features:
Hair: Black. Normally wears it short, but tends to grow it long when things aren't going well or feeling depressed.
Eye color: Grey and Fathomless
Profile:
Birthdate: 1957-1960 somewhere in this range. Because exact dates are not known yet and Sirius was blasted off the Black Family Tree.
Deathdate: 1996, sometime in june during the battle at the Department of Mysteries. He was murdered by his first cousin Bellatrix Lestrange, her spell knocked him behind the mysterious veil.
Hometown: London, UK
At Hogwarts:
Hogwarts House: Gryffindor
Best mates: James Potter, Remus Lupin, & Peter Pettigrew. They were called 'The Marauders' for their mischevious ways.
Reputation: Naughty, Mischevious, & Troublemaker.
Animagus: Yes. He learned to become an animagus sometime during his fifth year at hogwarts. And is an Unregistered animagus.
Animagus Form: Big Black Dog called Padfoot.
Godson: Harry Potter, who also became heir to all of Sirius' possessions after he fell behind the veil.
Aliases: Padfoot & Snuffles. Padfoot was his animagus form nickname and snuffles was his concealed name used on letters sent to harry potter.
Imprisonment: Was sent to Azkaban at the age of 22 (late 1981 or early 1982), convicted of murdering 13 muggles and Peter Pettigrew in one curse. Spent 12 years imprisoned, being also the first person known to have escaped from Azkaban up to that time.
The Black Family:
Siblings: Regulus Black, a few years younger than sirius and was more favored by his parents for sharing their pure blood mania.
Mother: Walburga Black. She stuck herself permenantly to a portrait located at 12 Grimmauld Place (the Black family resident).
Father: Orion Black.
Cousins: Narsissa (Black) Malfoy, Bellatrix (Black) Lestrange, and Andromeda (Black) Tonks
Heritage: Pureblood

The Name SIRIUS BLACK becomes A BULK CRISIS in Anagram formation.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix becomes: Portrayed Orphaned Hero for the Next Hit (could be that Sirius, who would be an orphan, dies... and who knows, Sirius could be a Hero!)
Family: Cousins: Narsissa (Black) Malfoy, Bellatrix (Black) Malfoy, and Andromeda (Black she married Ted Tonk) Tonks...Also, James Potter is also distantly related to black.

Mother of Sirius and Regulus, either very old (especially when you consider that her children were so much younger) or unnaturally aged.
Daughter of Pollux and Irma (Crabbe) Black.
Two younger brothers: Alphard (disowned) and Cygnus (1938-1992).
Married her second cousin Orion Black, so both she and her husband were descendants of Phineas Nigellus Black (also confirmed by BFT). This explains why she refers to the House of Black as the "house of my fathers" ( OP4).

Sirius was named after the dog-star constellation and according to the legend, Sirius was the faithful companion of the Great Hunter 'Orion', which is also a star constellation.
