Hey does anybody know what the difference is between a wizard and a warlock? Every time i read the books i dont know if theres any diference or not.

I dont really know. Is the word warlock even mentioned in the Harry potter books? But if it is then I imagine that a warlock is a higher rank than a wizard. Say like the way we have the MPs and VIPs, well I imagine that's what they'd be; maybe fudge or dumbledore could have been one. Actually, in my opinion, I've ever only heard the term "warlock" in children's stories and the Enid Blighton books (famous children's author). I've never come across it in any of the HP books.
