I think we kind of deserve this epilogue cause through the series we saw may deaths especially the last book. Moody, Fred, Tonks, Lupin, Colin...etc. If I had a bad epilogue after all these deaths then I'd be angry.

The epilogue should have been little longer. There were so many unaswered questions that JK Rowling didn't answer in the epilogue.

Oh that I can actually agree on. I maybe would have liked the epilogue if I would have had the idea that it was a decent, normal sized chapter in stead of a quick few pages to make the readers happy and show that it all turned out fine for them. Felt very rushed, that's all.

I liked it it was a bit short but it was well written and i felt she left no knot untied....i think enjoyed it...

The epilougue was all nice and fluffy but it didn´t quite contain enough information for my liking. Though it was nice to find out that Teddy is happy.

I liked that Harry said that Snape was the bravest person he had ever met, and that he named his kid after his least favorite teacher. However, I think it wasn't a very good wrap-up. I mean, come on. We spend over 2,000 pages learning about seven years, and then the rest of his life lasts half a dozen? That's not right. Also, it is just one snippet of his life, one glimpse. We don't learn what happens to many people, or even what Harry, Ron, and Hermione do with their lives. What are their jobs? And how many teachers are still at Hogwarts?

I loved the Epilogue, I thought it was a little bit fluffy, though, but at that point I didn't care.

I hate the name Albus Severus, though.

...I didn't enjoy it very much, but I am thankful for the fact that Ron and Hermione have kids with totally awesome names.

I think the epilogue was fabulous. So, i'll admit it was a bit short. But JK made a happy ending, and i think all movies and books have at least a half-happy ending to it! There are a FEW loose ends, but she may have just wanted us to wonder about them......

I love the fact that Harry named his kid Albus Severus. Me, being a big Snape fan. By the way, did J.K. ever say who was the Head Master/Mistress of Hogwarts and who was the Minister of Magic in the Epilogue?

I think she didn't say who will be the headmaster but the Minister is Shacklebolt.

I thought we desereved the epilogue. I mean you have to know how he lives his life when it is the last book. How would you feel if it ended right at hogwarts? We wouldn't know that Ron married herminone, or harry and ginny. We had to know these sort of things.

I for one think that even though we really deserved the epilogue, I feel it wasn't as good as I hoped it to be. I liked to hear what happened to Harry, especially that he got married to Ginny, and that Ron and Hermione got married. But the epilogue just wasn't as good as I hoped it would. I hoped for more information about each character's life after the battle at Hogwarts.

As I have shared in another thread, I was dissappointed by the Epilogue. It felt too rushed to me, like a fanfiction. It didn't need to be there in my view. I for one would have been happier if I were allowed the freedom to let my own thoughts wander to how it could have all worked out, instead of being told in an annoyingly quick chapter.

Yeah but JKR wrote it before philosophers stone was even published so it doesnt matter if it was a bit rushed or fanfictiony. It was her own fiction that the rest of the story adapted to. The whole seven books were built around those few pages, she had a plan of how she wanted everything to turn out in the end, even if she changed lots of things that she had planned for the books, she didnt change this.

I loved the name "Albus Severus" and "Scorpius". All in All, it was amazing.

Is it McGonagall or something...I know she was deputy 19 years earlier.

I sort of didn't like the epilogue, but I liked it at the same time. I love how it told how all the character's occupations, and how they ended up, but I didn't really like the children part, I feel like they were just space fillers, or something....that sounds waaay worse than I really feel....and I also don't like their names. Hugo? who names their child Hugo? That just really bugged me.

I thought it would have been a bit better..I must admit..

I enjoyed the Epilogue. I thought it was a nice ending to the series. We were able to find out some things about the characters as adults. I would liked to have known more but hey I guess she couldn't tell us about everyone.

i think it could have been a little longer, i mean we grew up with these characters and we got like a 4 page finisher. And it was just them sending the kids off to Hogwarts, it would have been nice to see it a little more of that.

i dont know i kind of felt let down after, i mean she killed off a lot of characters, that will be missed

after i finished the epilogue i thought it was too short i wanted to read more about their lives wish JKR had written more

It was too short for me. But it did provide a sense of closure for me. And Harry's son being named Albus Severus...Perfect ending.

In my opinion that epilogue absoluetly ruined the book. It's just too picture perfect.
