on the romance thing i think that harrys love for ginny is the defense that he need.. on the contray Dumbledore was getting at how love was harrys ultimate weapon, i think that harry will realize that he needs to be with ginny even if he may die and i think ginny will understand that she does love harry and will remain loyal to him weather he lives or dies...... however i hope that harry lives

yeah definatey harrys love for ginny will be the conquering power that he needs to kill voldermont, and dumbledore had said that love can conquer all in the first book when harry was in the hospital when he was talking about what his mother did for him to save his life. Ron and Hermione is has to be it just showed to much for each other in each book, it has to, it has to be. I think Bill and Fleur will get married but it won't be a big part in the 7th book and as for Lupin and Tonks. I think Lupin will keeping pushing her away until he sees that she really wants to be with an older man.

Did you read book 6? It was all Ron and Hermione...maybe not together but the sparks were flying and it was good enough for me. I bet there's going to be a few furtive glances, and holding hands more discreetly, and things of that nature, it's Harry's adventure and his friends are going to be with him, but during the wedding chapter who's to say he can't walk in on them kissing in the garden under the moonlight. Think outside the box.

Anyways, I really don't think there'll be much of romance in book 7, owing to the fact that Harry has to roam around for horcruxes. But I'm, still rooting for Ginny and Harry.

Sadly, some people can't see romance happening in an HP book. I'd like to site GoF, Ootp, and HBP as perfect examples, granted to varying degrees, they all had romance. Ron/Hermione *laughing at the delusionals*, Harry/Ginny *laughing at the H/L people* Wait a minute...I shipped H/L *Ottery beats himself up* uhm, *comes back with black eye* oh, yeah, N/L which I swear is there...I don't care what JKR said...

So yeah, book 7. Lots of love. Love. Love rules. Harry/Ginny at the beginnnig and the end, I predict, and lots of R/Hr throughout the book. Little love moments. Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee e.

I think we won't see H/G in the begining of the book but only sad scenes. I mean..sad looks between Harry and Ginny. Ginny is strong and she will treat Harry as a friend. She will try to prevent her emotions for Harry and act as nothing happened. If Harry lived, he will return to ginny imediatly after finishing voldy and if Ginny didn't die.

I just have to say that is too funny, but so true. Ron and Hermione are really adorable together. It's obvious they were made for eachother. I honestly think they might as well get together if this is the last book we see all of them together. I want R/Hr to happen as much as I want to see Harry live in the end and that's saying something.

I think we're seriously going to see a lot of little moments between Ron and Hermione throughtout the book, they're not obviously going to be the main focus...*grumbling* even if they should be...but they are going to happen, and Harry will catch glimpses of it, and that will give him the strength to move on.

I think book 7 is going to be the darkest of the books and more important characters will die, not that the ones who died in book 6 weren't important but that there will be more numbers of important characters dying, and I don't see the Weasley Wedding ruined by Death Eaters that's just stupid, lets get that out of the way.

I'm sorry, as much as Voldemort hates Harry, he's not going to come after him, not now, why? He didn't in Ootp, or HBP, he's a coward he's going to try something else, or send someone else to do it more subtly. *cough*Snape*cough* Okay so not Snape either... the traitorous cur...

So I think that during the wedding we'll get some heartbreaking Harry/Ginny moments, you know it's going to happen so don't even try to deny it, yo! It's going to be so cute, and sad, and I'm going to cry all the way through it...and OMG!

But yes, there's going to be a lot of romance, I just think non-shippers don't know what we mean by a lot of romance...I don't expect this is going to turn into a Harlequin Romance novel, a kiss a chapter will be fine by me...yo! *fires the cannons* R/Hr is too cute and it took toooooooo bloody long in getting here not to have a few sweet moments.

I think most of the other romances, Lupin/Tonks, and Hagrid/Maxime will be taken care off in the epilogue of the book, I don't think they're as important or the readers have as vested an interest. I mean, c'mon, the big conflict was R/Hr v. H/Hr You kids are probably too young to remember, but back in the day... *coughing dust* some poor deluded kids thought H/Hr would happen.

And the Titanic didn't sink, and the world is flat...

But yeah, I think Harry/Ginny will have a moment at the beginning of the book and of course the romantic get together at the end of the book, and then in the epilogue you'll get to read about how Harry and Ginny got married and had loads of kids and lived next door to Ron and Hermione and they had loads of kids too.

I think most of the Harry Potter characters won't live to get married/have romances. I think true love will be revealed at a battle/before one/before a death, and then death will take a toll and destroy the possiblities of love prevailing. Then again, I am a pessimist and I believe in nothing good.

Aaahhh yes. The HBP Romance forum was almost like my workout for the day!*shakes head at saggy, veiny R/Hr cannon firing arm* Not what it used to be but hey I sure fired a lot of cannons at that H/Hr ship! By the end of July, that ship was completely sunk and I haven't heard from a H/Hr shipper since! Or maybe they're just hiding... We've cleared the seas of the H/Hr shippers... *Ottery on the deck of the HMS R/Hr Kicks Achoo!* *Teddy meanwhile is firing the cannons at the seagulls he's so bored* Ah, just like the English Navy back in the day when they beat the Spanish Armada...wot?

Okay, now seriously back to shipping...

Ron and Hermione. The cutest ship ever! I really want to see them get all cutesy in Book 7, I know people keep talking about how Ron was holding Hermione so that means they're together... yeah, because love really is that easy and holding hands automatically means you're dating. Actually my favorite remark is the "they've come to a quiet understanding..." What? Are you people like 5 or something? LOL Men and women are two different species... LOL that's the whole point of R/Hr. They've always liked each other but they were totally misreading the signs or to proud to admit it, or to say it, and suddenly one moment of grief means they're together? No. It's merely the beginning friends...

Hmm...we're all expecting this big Harry/Ginny scene at the wedding of Bill/Fleur *Ottery's starting to wonder if anyone even cares that Bill/Fleur are getting married* (Teddy says: It's just a prop), anyways, uhm yeah, what if JKR gives us a R/Hr moment...the kiss? Harry and Ginny watching over a bush? OMG! Awkward moment and R/Hr kiss...dude I should be writing this book...

I'm actually a H/Hr shipper *waits to be jumped on and brutally attacked* but I'm getting used to the idea of Ron and Hermione. Although the danger of HPHG appeals to me, RHr is becoming more and more likely in my eyes and even cuter when I think about it. I may end up converting, I may not.


Harry and Ginny go together well, I think. It's obvious from the books that they would probably end up together and they did. It might be an edgy relationship because of Voldemort but there's bound to be a few Harry/Ginny moments!

As many of you have been saying there are bound to be a few romance moments in the 7th book, even if they're only little snippets or hard to spot. I think we've waited too long for proper romance for it to be left out now. The closest we've got is Harry and Ginny at the end of HBP. And as much as I'm still reluctant to become a R/Hr shipper, it is infuriating how they still haven't got together yet. All the signs point to them liking each other. Maybe Harry's "last year at Hogwarts" will be the year for all you proper RHr shippers!

And I think there will be a few little side ships as well, such as Remus and Tonks. They're so cute together - I loved the scene in HBP when she said she doesn't care about him being a werewolf. With the war going on I don't know if Bill and Fleur's wedding will go ahead, but I think they'll stay together and if they're both still alive when (if) Voldemort is destroyed then I think they may get married as part of the celebration. I felt sorry for Professor McGonagall in HBP too... I always thought she was hopelessly in love with Dumbledore.

I do see myself becoming slowly RHr. Most of my romantic fanfics are HHr and one is HG, but I'm keeping an open mind and who says you can't write AUs with all sorts of different ships? But I do know that if I get TOO impatient and write a seventh book myself, it will be Ron/Hermione and Harry/Ginny. And I will make it cute just in case JKR doesn't. ^^

Uhm, yeah, you caught me there by surprise Nemi, as long as I've been shipping, I only knew one other H/Hr shipper, and I thought she was the only one. *fires the cannons in salute of Laura* She was fun. But yeah, R/Hr is so gonna happen, yo. I don't mind having waited for it for so long...I did before HBP, but now that we know it's going to happen... *fires the cannons* I just don't think that it has happened. Some people have argued that because they were together at the end of HBP that means 'they're together' but then those same poor souls probably think that because Harry and Ginny aren't together at the end of HBP they broke up. Sighs. It's a break...hello, like Ross and Rachel on friends...

Anyways, don't get me started on that. The point is, Harry didn't stop loving Ginny, and she didn't stop loving Harry (then again it'd be hard after pinning for him through five books, no?) so yeah, rough waters ahead and all that, I don't think H/G will be together throughout the seventh book but they will end up together by the end. Harry's being all stupidly noble and I love him for it *crying* and Ginny's being brave...and I love her for it too... *crying* but it still sux.

I don't know about the side ships getting any attention, but they probably will have moments too, like if Tonks asks about Lupin, there's going to be all this implied concern, as opposed to say McGonagall asking about Lupin. So yeah, there's going to be moments for them too, and I think Bill/Fleur will get married at the start of the book, I don't see the wedding getting postponed until the end, though that would make sense then, because with the war over then Ron and Hermione and Harry and Ginny could go to the wedding together and you know, JKR could foreshadow the ultimate outcomes which she says she's going to write in an epilogue so...

I don't think she'll write their wedding...but it just makes sense she would I don't know give us the end to Harry's life...you know? His happily ever after...the books are kind of like the story of his life, so we should know who he ended up happily with. I don't see her writing a divorce in there and Harry and Ginny went to the Wizengamot to split up the kids and they reconciled years later and... LOL Yeah, too much drama. I see them happily married forever. *sighs lovingly*

As for writing AU's with different sorts of ships? I love that...some of my favorite ships are AU...some I can't mention...some I shouldn't I know I shouldn't but...Draco/Ginny *snickering* I get a lot of flack for that one... LOL they'd be sooooooooooooooooo cute together. Neville/Luna which just so should have been but isn't...*sighs* and loads others... Sirius/McGonagall... Hey, anythings possible, you put your mind to it. That last one my friend Shannon, cheekily refers to as the cat/dog romance. LOL

No, I think that the Wedding will be done. But may be some thing will happen after the Wedding that will ruin it or may be nothing will happen but Bill will not be with Fleur all the time..There will be no Honey Moon ( Poor Bill )

I agree with the fist part of your post, Sliverknight but There will be some good things. The end will not be very happy, I think but some ships will live and achieved and This is a good thing.
Yeah! I thought in that too. We will know about the other ships at the end. The book won't be so romantic as book 6. Harry, Hermione and Ron had things to do. The war is going to begin. I don't know how Harry will fight Voldy by love but I think Ginny will take apart in that.

Everyone thought, before HBP that the war, was going to be a literal war, people killing each other in the streets and wandfights out in the open and all of that... and HBP obviously proved all of that wrong. Instead the Death Eaters are launching attacks meant to hurt muggles and scare the wizarding community, a guerilla war if you will.

I think the same thing is happening again with people thinking that Harry is going to have to train an army and attack Voldemort. LOL I beg to disagree because the seventh book is not going to be a war book for the most part. I mean HBP wasn't a war book and that's because the war had already started.

The seventh book is going to have Harry going in search of the horcruxes, and Ron and Hermione are going to come with him, while they're on their quest a lot of different things can happen. There's going to be a lot of room for Ron to save Hermione's life and vice versa, and the quiet moments after the battles, and when Harry wants to talk about what he's doing and they're sleeping out in the open underneath the stars.

There's lots of ways the next book can go and a lot of room for romance and I think HBP proved that to all the people who didn't ship, so it surprises me that people think (some of them shippers even *glares*) that there won't be time or room in the book. I fended off this same argument before HBP came out. I was right then I'm right now, I bet.

As I never tire of telling people I'm the happy ending kind of guy and I really don't see why we can't have one here? Sorry, nothing JKR has written has left me to think she's going to kill Harry or let him live alone without love. If you think the latter then you've obviously missed one of the biggest points of the book. LOVE. *fires the cannons*
