I didn't count the hours but It took me 3 days. I will count the hours on the second time.

WOW! There are some fast readers here!
It took me 1 week because I've never been a fast reader, and since a lot of my friends are fast readers, they tease me on how slow i am ):

Well, I just now finished it, and it probably took me about 7-8 hours max. I read the whole series in 1 week, so yeah.

It took me 12 hours.

It would have been faster seeing as I have a 7 month son who requires a lot of attention. And in the morning of the day I finished I had school from 9 to 4. =)

Pretty slow for my usual reading times. But actually I wish I took longer because now its over and there's nothing.

Well I got it the day it came out, which was a few days before all the back to school madness, like shopping and registering for school. I started reading it that day, but like two days later I had to stop because I ran out of time. But then, a few months later I started reading it again, from the beginning and it took maybe 2 days. I was sad that I didn't finish it when I got it. Stupid school.

I don't know. Most of the Harry Potter books I read within the day I first touched it. I know the first 2 or 3 took me longer because I wasn't much of a reader then...but now: I WILL COMPETE AGAINST YOU! BWHA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!

that's kinda embarrassing question for me
because that's was like my 3rd all-English book ive ever read so.. and i feel ashamed of my self ... i have to say 13 day
anyway , when i rereaded it, it took me like less than 24 hours

I didn't count the hours but it took me 2 weeks to read Harry potter 2,5,7 and the magical worlds of harry potter

Man ya'll read fast! It took me about two days, probably shorter but I had to work and needed sleep and food.

I bought the book at the Midnight release at Barnes and Noble in Eugene, Oregon, and I sat on my couch with my best friend looking over my shoulder from time to time to see where I was in my reading (she isn't into Harry Potter, but she was enthused by my reaction. I think I gave her lots of entertainment that night). See, we were supposed to be moving out in 2 days, and we had so much packing to do, it was ridiculous. But I had told her that from midnight on July 21, until whenever I finished the book, don't expect me to lift a finger to help you. This is MY time. And she was really cool about it, too. She knows what a fanatic I am, and she knows better than to mess with my Harry Potter time.

I finally finished the book at 7:22 am, and then I had to spend the next nine hours packing up the house. So, needless to say, I was exhausted by the time I crawled into bed that night. And yet I picked up the book and read through the first sixteen chapters AGAIN before I finally fell asleep.

it took me about 8 hours whih surprised me cuz i normally read fast espescially harry potter books.

When I read obsessively 4 days... You guys are amazing fast readers. My eyes can't handle seeing words for more than 3 hours, so I take about a 15 min break

It probably took me somewhere between 8 and 10 hours? I am pretty fast reader though and once I started I couldn't put it down! I just wanted to know how it ended so badly haha.

It took me about a week, but I was reading it aloud with the rest of my siblings. It was kind of nice, actually, because it lasted longer that way, and the end didn't seem so fast.

For me probably about a day because we were going away on a boating holiday, so I had to crew and stuff in between and help tidy the boat after and then my pesky brother kept annoying me, and I had to stop for lunch and dinner and go into town with my parents etc.

About 6 hours, it's my own personal tradition to finish the books entirely in one sitting lol.

It took me 8 hours I think..

from 6:00 pm - 2:00 am including the time I spent eating dinner and pretending to be aslep whenever my mom checks on me.

I'm reading in again right now, and I'm reading way slower than usual just to prolong the experience ) I've been reading it for 2 weeks now

I think it took me about 2 days

but I wasn't reading for the whole 48 hours

so if I counted hours ... probably around 6 to 10 hours


but my friend ... it took her 3 years... yeah she isn't much of a reader

I don't know it, I guess 10 hours ..
I read it fast and then I read it again cuz' I was so fast .. and I wanted to cry again, lol

Urm once i read all day without stopping. Probably three or four hours max. I'm a fast reader haha. It's better to read slowly and catch everything ;D
