Well...we will never know, will we? Anyone roaming around the wizarding may be, and/or descendants of other Hogwarts founders. I also believe that many other Gryffindors once lived at Godrics Hollow and pulled the sword out of the Sorting Hat, many years ago if not present.

^^You're right that anyone roaming around the wizarding world maybe descendants...but who knows who they are. lol
I don't think Harry is. The first post in this discussion said that J.K Rowling said that Harry was NOT a descendant.
Also, it was proven in the Deathly Hollows that any Gryffindor who was in need could pull the sword out of the sorting hat. For example, Neville did. Does that mean he's a descendant? Not necessarily..
I like how they don't like to make difference between Mudbloods and Purebloods, that is looks like how we in real life make difference between black and white people, for example, what is awful for me. We are all part of this world (wizarding or muggle) and we are all humans.
