Hufflepuff Snape as Fawkes

No, I don't really think that Snape is Fawkes, but I do believe he is a hero, it will be I think by the end of the seventh book we will get those answers.I think when he "sang" over Malfoy and healed him is come kind of a healer's chant. It would be the tears of the Phoenix that heal. I'd love to think of Snape as a Phoenix though.

I think you guys should read this post, and it might have a little more thinking about Fawkes being Snape.

that was a really interesting theory!!! it must have taken you a lot of time and thought to think that up! but know we all know the truth about snape since the book came out! the truth to me was quite shocking but interesting and elaborate all the same.

I don't think this is true. If he were an animagus I believe that JKR would have revealed this. I don't think she intended to leave anything unsolved for the fans to figure out, especially something as large as Snape being Dumbledore's phoenix.

Wow....very convincing but I don't exactly think it's true. I believe that Fawkes has always been with Dumbledore before he trusted Snape. And besides, in the 5th book, Dumbledore and Fawkes vanished, but Snape was still there wasn't he?

I don't think that he is an animagus, let alone a pheinox. If snape was Fawkes, wouldn't he be extremely old? Animaguses cannot be reborn. Remember in the 2nd book when Harry was in dumbledores office and Fawkes burst into flames and was reborn again? Snape wouldn't have been able to do that. Also, are you trying to say that voldemorts and Harrys wands are brothers because they both share snapes tail feather? There is no proof that snape is Fawkes. (btw I totally understand what you are saying, and I'm not trying to be snotty,)

Yes I agree. I know that both Fawkes and snape have saved Harry on countless occasions, but there is no proof whatsoever that they are the same person. Jk would have brought the situation up and let one of the characters explain about it at the climax if one of the books like she always does. Otherwise she would have left the readers confused which she has hardly ever done. And secondly, snaps patronus is a doe; don't you think it would have been a phoenix if thats what his animagus is?
