Hey Shannon!
First of all, I'd like to congratulate you on an awesome forum! All your hard work has paid off...we're loving it already! Thank you ever so much! We Ron lovers greatly appreciate it!

Secondly, I'd like to make a suggestion/request for a thread. I'm sure you know about the SS 100 Drabble that's just started up, and it got me thinking...it would be fun to have a Ron Weasley Drabble competition within our Fan Club. If the idea is approved, I'd love to organise/run the thread. I've got a few ideas for it, so I'll give you a quick list now...

~ It could be run weekly or monthly. So in other words, we have a weekly drabble competition where members post their drabble entries, everyone votes for their favourite, and at the end of the week all the votes are tallied and the winner is announced. The same goes for the monthly idea: the competition is open all month and at the end of the month all votes are tallied, winner is announced, etc etc.

~ We could have an avatar made for the winning member to use for the duration of the week/month following their win.

~ A challenge could be set for the topic/theme/setting of the drabble entries, eg. All entries this week/month must be based around the feeling "Joy," or they must include a time-turner, or they must be set in the bottom of the Great Lake...etc.

Shan thats a wonderful idea. I did mention it to Shannon earlier, but well then she got sick and probably was unable to PM you.
We should go for it!!!

I'd be happy to run it/organise it, etc. I'll wait until Shannon's well again and back with us before I pester her about it. Unless you give me permission to start it up. I'm glad you like the idea though! It'd be heaps of fun to do!

I think that we should add a twist to the drabble idea. The person that is posting the idea will place three random words at the end of the post and the person that writes the best drabble using them will be the winner of that drabble. Then the winner would have to come up with a different situation and add your own three words at the end. Each winner must start the next one. We could have a siggie trophy made up each month for the winner. We could have so maybe one drabble a week. The person that has the most wins will have there own siggie kinda like the one that I just made to show as an example. We would need someone to judge the winners or maybe vote on them when they are done.

Example I would like you to write a drabble about the summer of the sixth year right before school starts and you have to include the words tree, trophy and goose.

I think that I explained it o.k. If I have confused any one sorry but the winner for the month would get a siggie for that month something like this.

I think we definitely need more games. We don't have many here. We should get a hangman and a *What Can Ron Take to the Moon...* Game. Really fun, in the HPFC and RLFC. Also, we should have some discussion topics and a caption contest.

OonaPotter, I like your idea. We could pretty much do anything with the Drabble thread. We could have your idea going each month, as well as some others like just a basic drabble competition, etc. *squee* This is fun! I love fun ideas!
And more games definitely. We should try and think of a game that no other fan club has yet, too. Start our own tradition.

I was wondering why we don't have a thread like the One sentence fan fics, EXCEPT rather than those boring things were everyone writes their characters doing something ... which gets old and people leave we could have a thread called Ronald's General Hospital or the Weasley & the Restless you know like a soap opera thread RP but instead of assigning anyone a character we could post a characters actions and then someone else could show up and play Hermione and someone else could be Dobby or whatever but since none of the characters are assigned it's on a first come first serve basis and we can RP different characters and so on ... just a thought ... *flees* it's more silly than serious, no? But it would be just for fun.

It's an excellent idea! I'm still just a little confused about the character thing...so whoever comes in first will get to roleplay the character of their choice, and if it's a HP one (not a made up), then it's bad luck for anyone else who wanted to play that character?

Silly Shan-Shan pay attention. No character gets assigned. It's a first come first serve all the time. Here.

Say you post as Ron in the first post then I post as Hermione in the next but someone else comes in they can either post as Ron again or someone new. Do you see? That way everyone gets to play Ron or Hermione or Dean or whatever and the story can just go all sorts of crazy places because no two people would role play Ron or Hermione or anyone the same way.

Now do you dig?

I think we should bring back the member of the week, except make it member of the month (since weekly is a hard thing to constantly be doing). it's been 4 months or so since the last interview. I'd be willing to help out if there is anything I can do to bring it back.

I think we should definitely bring that ^ back, it will get members interested and start posting again.

Also, I think we should have some new games, 101 Reasons is popular in the other FCs, so why not have one here.

There are games all over SS that are like _____ is my man! Well can we make a game that would be like: Weasley is my King?
