Ginny and Her Brothers



Growing up as the youngest child has both its share of its benefits and downfalls and being the only girl had to provide an added bit of drama for our dear Ginny.
How do you think it was like in the Weasley household between Ginny and her brothers and how each boy’s relationship might have been similar or different then the next?

To me what I got was Ginny was a bit quiet and didn't get into big trouble with her brothers help. Throughout the years she knew what do say and do without embarrassing herself or saying something stupid because they would teas her. For her being the youngest I still think she had a good relationship with all the brothers and never were strangers who where related to each other. With the eldest to the youngest I think she was closest with Ron and close with Fred and Goeroge but ever time to get farther away in age she isn't that close to them. With having all brothers to she might have kept a lot of secrets girls don't want their brothers to know as well. That's what my thought about Ginny and her relationships with her brothers.

I think Ginny and her brothers had a really good relationship. I agree with Katergirl about her not having a very good relationship with her older brothers like Charlie, Bill, and maybe Percy probablly Charlie and Bill because she was so little when they lived with her. I think she had the closest relationship with Ron because Ron is only one year older so basically they got to to everything together they were the same age so they probablly liked doing the same things at the time.
Also I think being the youngest had a lot of things that she could will to her advatage like when she would do something wrong she could easily blame it on her brothers with no problem for the simple fact that she could say Im not tall enough to reach that and Im to little to do that.

I think being the youngest of 6 kids with all the others being boys gave her a strong personality. It made her a stronger person, and wouldn't let people mess with her. Meaning she had to learn good hexes like the bat-bogey hex! In some ways yes it was good, because she'd have her brothers to protect her. But then again she had problems with trying to find a boyfriend due to them being overly protective.

I think that Ginny is so strong willed, independent, and strong because of her having so many older brothers. I'm sure it was annoying to her sometimes and I'm sure she thought about what it would be like to have a sister or be the oldest. We always want what we don't have right? In the long run though she has so many people that love her and are there to protect her and I'm sure that she is very grateful and thankful for that.
