Nabiya, I swear, sometimes I wonder if it's my drawing, or your romance eaten mind. The Vannacutt picture was supposed to be smug and you translated it as 'soft and thoughtful'. This particular picture was supposed to be raging anger (hormones) and you translated it into desperation and need for each other. Either you or I are off the mark. It's scary. Whew! And now that that's all done, I come with a few weeks and no scanner -worth of art!

First off, I drew Opteryx. I don't like his hand (though I do like the bubble pipe!) but I'm rather pleased with his face. I think I came up with the nice boy look pretty well.



Matthias Wenlock, the only person in the world who doesn't toss out those birthday badges. 'I am SEVEN today!!' He came out of my pencil one evening, smiling dimly, and I think he looks rather cute.



Ariana Numel. Also came out of pencil randomly. I wonder if the SS professors aren't secretly lining up one by one, because I was trying to work on a comic of mine, but they kept interrupting. I like Ariana, even though I'm sure this isn't how Cass pictured her. She has a sparky look on her face and a bottle of 'Really Nasty Medicine' in her hands.



Andi, lunging off the Dorm Window in a chase that's reminiscent of bad police shows.


I'm bad at that angle, which is why, although this picture isn't very good, I'm pleased with it as it's above my normal standard.

I don't really like this picture. It came out not as slick and bitter as I wanted it to look, but *sigh*

I drew this picture as a doodle at the edge of the page. Then it came out looking too cute to erase, and I doubted I could do better. So, Peony (Tan) holding a Snape plushie. It can say "Detention!", "Fifty points off Gryffindor!", and "I'm so in love with -insert name here-" Available in all leading imaginary stores.

I'm LOVin it. I have a feeling my character would also like to do me in. No girlfriend, no sense of balance, and constant comic relief. I mean, who wants to be comic relief? (Well--besides that deep, unconscious part of myself that writes Tag as my own experience as a 12-year-old--apparently I do.)

I think my favorite sketches are of Andi. I'm looking at how you do faces, because I think those are what you do best. Are you using pencil, or do you outline your drawings in pen when you're done?

You're lucky Ashlie-IC isn't at school anymore. With the way you drew Opteryx, she'd totally have a crush on him The bubble pipe rules though, seriously. LOVE it!

LOVE Numel. Like I said, the hair is so wonderful. I've been trying to draw hair like that for ages and it always comes out really bad. I'll study yours and maybe I'll be able to improve. Despite her cuteness, she seems to have a slightly evil disposition in that smile. -edges away-

I LOVE Severus. So much better than Alan Rickman, in my opinion. -hides from you- But really. The hair style is better, more choppy and all, but in a good way. Shiny hair, not greasy His nose isn't as big as it usually is portrayed but I dont mind. He looks almost harmless though. -pokes him- BARE YOUR TEETH SNAPEY-POO!

The AMOEBA is FREAKING ADORABLE!!! That was my first thought when I saw it, too, the Amoeba trio off of the Powerpuff Girls. They were funny. SO FREAKING ADORABLE THOUGH. Kudos to your sister on that.

Snape looks so gorgeous! Exactly how he'd look when he first started working at Hogwarts. He also has a look that says he regrets joining the DE's. Either that or I'm reading too many fan-fics.
