Once referred to as "The Mysterious Tapestry", this wall hanging first came to notice during Draconia's tenure as Headmistress. The passageway which existed behind the tapestry has long since been sealed but, the tapestry continues to be a site of great interest to those familiar with its story or appreciate such textile arts. It also makes a convenient meeting place as there is no other tapestry as grand as this in the castle.

After arriving back at the castle from signing up for Quidditch, Elizabeth gave up trying to figure out some place to go, and had started heading up the many staircases to get to the common room. And she randomly turned a corner, heading away from the library, where she usually would have holed up, only to find a large tapestry in front of her. She looked at it curiously, remembering something she had read a while back in Hogwarts, A History, and then decided to stop. The common room could wait.

Hmm... Natasha seemed to be walking around quite a bit, lately. Oh well, exploring Hogwarts was always fun. Right? As a second year, Natasha was far from knowing everything about Hogwarts. And it was all so cooooool. Natasha walked over to a Tapestry, and looked at it curiously. There were things like Tapestry's all over Hogwarts, but Natasha was pretty sure she had heard or read something about this one.

Only now did she realize that someone else was also there, someone who looked quite a few years older then her, in fact. "Hi, I'm Natasha." She said to the girl politely.

Lilly walked into this new corridor. Okay so it wasn't really new but it was new to her. she came up to a beautiful tapestry. then she noticed two girls standing there looking at it, a Ravenclaw, and a Slytherin. Since she liked meeting new people, she said "Hello my name is Lilly, and you are?" she questioned the girls

Dani had heard of the mysterious tapestry on the Fourth Floor. But now that she stood in front of it, she was having a total wow moment. She stared at it, remembering the story she had read in Hogwarts a History. She really just wanted to reach out and touch it, but then she remembered Clark and Barnabas the Barmy. There did not need to be a replay of that.

Honestly, Jake didn't know if there was anything special about this tapestry... it was just like the one Clark pulled down. In fact... he'd never even seen this thing. But he'd seen herrrrrrr.

Dani.

"Dani!" Jake called to her as he ran up to the Ravenclaw. "Hey."

Dani turned. "Hi Jake." She smiled. She hadn't pictured him as an appreciator of fine art. "What are you doin over here?" She had been thinking about him a lot lately. She was tempted to give him a hug, but she didn't.

"Errrrr," Jake stalled for a moment, looking around him. What floor was he on? Duuuuude. Jake was lost. But hey, it wasn't like he'd been a student there for a year. Oh wait. He had.

...

"Erm, well... I was..." What had he been doing? Oh yeaaahhhh. "Just... throwing the scent off, so they can't find me," he explained with hushed tones, looking shiftily around him. Oh yes... Jake was paranoid.

Hug.

"Who are you hiding from?" She was curious. Then he got a shifty look on his face and it made her laugh. "Oh Jake." She threw her arms around him in a hug. "I'll hide you." She said, dropping her voice like he had. Then she realized, for the first time in.. well.. ever she was with Jake, and Clark wasn't there. Weird. But she liked it.

"All of them," Jake nodded, looking around. Was she on their side? Hmmm? HMMM?! Maybe... but it was doubtful. "They're all trying to get me, Dani... ALLLL of 'em!"

Okay, craziness over, let the hugging commense! After all, Jake and Dani were an item, even if Jake wasn't entirely sure what that meant. But still, a friendly hug (*eyes PDA police*) was good. Oh yes it was. "Thank you," Jake whispered to the girl.

"No problem." Dani whispered back to him. Dani liked hugs. She was still confuzed about the whole going out thing. Were they? She wasn't sure. But she wasn't going to ask, that would ruin the whole huggy moment thing. "I missed you." She mumbled. Then she had to ask, "Did you eat anything yet?"

Hugs.

Nyawwwwww. He'd been missed. Hehe.

"I missed you, too," Jake admitted. Dani and Clark were both his good friends, and Clark was being a tad... irksome, recently. But, like, only because the boy had shoved a buttered roll in his mouth.

Evil.

"Erm, no... no, not yet," he muttered, biting his lip. Was Dani gonna go all *mother* on him?

"Really?" She smiled at him, feeling slightly girly. When he said he hadn't eaten she frowned a little. "Why don't you want to eat?" She worried about him. People needed to eat. Especially Jake.

That would be bad. Very very bad.

"Yep, really," Jake grinned back, feeling... kind of proud. Proud he'd said the right thing, maybe? Or that he made Dani all smiley. And it seemed like... she was kind of... being a little...

Concerned.

"I dunno," he said, awkwardly. "I mean, I do. Like, I just can't. What if I'm sicka again. If there's nothing in my stomach, nothing can get out," Well... it was good logic to Jake. "And... what if they put worse stuff in it... like..."

Dani grinned at him. "Ohh okay, your logic makes sense." Eventually he'd be hungry. For now though, she leaned back against the wall next to the tapestry and pulled out a muffin and started munching. Yum blueberry. She would have shared but he didn't want food so she didn't feel bad just sitting there and eating. She would have offered him some, but he probably would have freaked out again.

Mmm.

Yummy.

Muffin.

That muffin wasn't tempting him. Not at all.

Much.

Bleh, he'd always lived on not that much food, because Jake had always been engrossed in reading or running around the back garden. Plus, he'd always been left to his own devices and his mother was always too scared to force him to do stuff, because he never showed that he loved her, and she thought...

Well... enough of that.

"Where've you been at?" Jake asked, tilting his head as he watched Dani eating.

Dani shrugged, finishing the muffin. "I've been around." She straightened herself out. Then she wiped a little bit of blueberry off of her chin. She loved them, but they always made a mess. It was worth it. She looked back at the tapestry once more. "Isn't it fascinating?" It really wasn't, but she couldn't really think of what to say and that was what she came up with.

She wasn't going to try to force him to eat, or try to convince him to participate in Operation Water Balloon. That was total Clark behavior. Instead, she whistled a random tune and looked at the tapestry that she couldn't focus on because Jake was right there.

Well, now he had nothing to say. Grrrrr. Shrugging, Jake wandered over and stood next to Dani, staring up at the wall thing. "Fascinating? I thought it was a tapestry..."

Hmmm, maybe not. Stretching his arm out, Jake put it out so it was draped over Dani's shoulder. Friendly gesture and all that, pip pip. Tally-ho. "Best keep Clark away from here," he pointed out, as if his action was in no way weird.

And it wasn't. Not to him anyway.

Dani laughed. "It is a tapestry." Oh geez. She was not gonna explain that one. And then his arm was around her shoulders. He was warm. Hmm. She kinda liked it. It was rather strange and out of nowhere though. He made a joke about Clark and it wasn't very nice, but it was really funny. She let out a giggle. "Clark and tapestries don't seem to mix well do they?" She leaned against him, he happened to be a rather comfortable person.

"Oh..." was all Jake replied, frowning up at the Fantastic!Tapestry. Squeezing Dani in a friendly hug, Jake looked down at the girl, still frowning a little. "You ought to be careful, you know... They're after me... they might get you too."

He wouldn't live with himself if they got Dani too.

Even though 'they' weren't after anyone. 'They' didn't even exist. Not really.

"You... erm... well, you see... they flooded the dungeons, didn't they, and then the water went up into the kitchens. They're contaminating the food... trying to get us all... You need to watch out," he ended in a whisper.

Clark ran through the hall, cackling evilly. He was just about to exit when he chose a roll out of his pocket and threw it at Jake. It hit him in the head, smearing some jam through Jake's pink hair. "Eat, pink hair boy!" he yelled, then exited the corridor, chewing on the second roll.

Dani listened as Jake explained 'them' she was kinda scared now. She looked at him. "Don't let them get me. Please." Leave it to a boy to scare a cute, little, naive girl. Then Clark was there? What? He threw a roll at Jake, how mean. She frowned and tried to get some of the jam out of Jakes hair. "That wasn't very nice." She muttered. She pulled out her wand, she needed water. "Do you uhh mind?" She gestured to the wand, motioning that she was gonna spray his head with water.

"I think..." Jake muttered, looking around them. "I think they're only trying to get me. I can't trust anyone, Dani. Anyone could be one of theeemmmmm."

Ahem.

"What the cheese?" Jake exclaimed, flinching as something hit him in the head. He reached up to touch his head, a puzzled expression on his face, and felt something sticky. Looking at his hand, Jake only took a glance to see it was red. "I'M BLEEDING! BLEEEEDING!" he exclaimed, whipping his head round to find out who it was. "Nowhere is safe!"

Sigh.

Dani grabbed Jake to get him to calm down. "You aren't bleeding. It's jam." She still had her wand out. "Calm down, I'll clean you off." His hair was all sticky, and now it was more red then pink. She didn't like it.

Clark was gonna pay. She still had his enchanted water balloons. Maybe Operation WB was just going to be altered a little bit.

"J-J-Jam?" stuttered Jake, looking wide-eyed at Dani as she tried to calm him down. He noticed the girl had her wand out and about a thousand things flew through his head. Could he trust her... was she one of them? Maybe just an innocent bystander. But... still. "Do it," he nodded, speaking quietly, closing his eyes and waiting.
