The greenhouse was set up as usual, only with the black lab desks arranged in groups of four or five instead of in two long rows along the perimeter. There are no plants in the room for now, just the lab tables and the blackboard at the front by the professor's table. Professor Bunbury sits on a pink stool beside it, flipping through a thick, old-looking book as she waits for students to trickle in and take their seats.

Lucy entered the greenhouse, ready to learn more about Herbology. She sat down at one of the workstations and looked up at Professor Bunbury. "Good day professor." She said smiling.

Herminny walked into the Herbology greenhouse for her seccond class of the year and not surprisingly she saw Bunbury sitting on a pink stool of course. But what book was she reading that looked a bit tattered and worn, would it's contents be used in class Herminny wondered as she quietly took a seat at one of the tables not wanting to disturb the professor.

Herbology! Yayyyyyyy..... flowers... plants... it was such a happy atmosphere. Livvy smiled as she walked in with her book bag slung around her shoulder. "G'day professor. You look lovely, today. Nice pink stool," she said as she sat down at an empty desk and set her bag on top of it.

William entered the greenhouse slightly nervous now as he looked around for any signs of anything creepy. Glancing up at professor Bunbury he smiled and said, "Hello professor how are you today?" in a cool voice as he went to sit near the front of the room taking out his supplies. Unconsciously he pulled his feet up, curling them under himself as to not allow them to touch the ground.

Natuureeee class!

Well that's what Cam would call it--if they added CoMC with Herbology then it would really be some sort of a nature classssss. But for now, it was plants and all--and all of that was good enough already. Cam had despiiiised the professor last year and he still had a bit of hate for her, mainly because of the pink all over the class and how she was just...BunBunss. She was just like that and all... buuut he didn't like it. Nuh uh.

She was a plant-person. He liked plant peopleee!

Walking over to the Greenhouse, he looked at the professor and noooticed she was reading a boook. "Hi..." Cam took a seat and dropped his stuff on the worktable in front of him.

Hugging herself for warmth, Kiri stumbled into the greenhouse. Inside, it was vaguely warmer, but, she noticed as she sat down on one of the chairs, any kind of class-related flora was absent. "Good afternoon, Professor," she said with a sniffle. She was sick of winter already, and it was only December...

Herbology.

Siiigh.

"Hello, Professor Bunbury," Greeted the girl, as she placed her messenger bag on her lap after having take seat, "Having a nice day so far, I hope?" Not that she cared about whether Bunbury was feeling alright or not, but it was the polite thing to ask about.

Iris skipped into the greenhouses cheerfully and sat down in at a table where no one else was yet, "Hello Professor! Lovely stool there, very pink." she grinned and put her bag down on the floor.

Nature was something Grace tried to avoid very much and she didn't know what she was doing here. Plants were OK but insects on them weren't. But Grace hoped it'd be a nice lesson without any insect bite. She walked to the greenhouse and entered. It was actually nice... 'Always be polite.' she thought and greeted the professor with a "Good day professor!" A pink stool? Cool! She saw Iris sitting at a table and walked to her, just smiled. She didn't know if the professor would consider a small "Hi." exchange conversation or not.

Ohhh, Herbology class! Anna stepped foot into the greenhouse and took a good look around, noticing that the seating arrangements were quite different than they usually were. That was nothing out of the ordinary, though, as her professors sometimes tended to do just that depending on what the lessons were going to be about. She bypassed a few lab desks near the door and headed towards some near where the professor was sitting...on a pink stool, nonetheless. "Good day, Professor Bunbury," she greeted. She then took a seat and waited quietly for the lesson to start.

Herbology tiiiime. Clifford didn't mind Herbology.. yup, what was once one of his most disliked classes was actually growing on him. Maybe it was cos thanks to this lesson he was now a proud parent. Puffy and Fluttery were still growing good and strong thanks to his marvelous parenting skeeelz, and he wasn't gonna lie.. it was all thanks to Professor Bunbury. Hehe.

"Yo, ma'am," the seventh year greeted the Professor with a rather pathetic, timid wave. Where had that come from? Lame, much? Eh. Clearing his throat, Clifford hurried to one of the desks.

"Hello, thank you, I'm fine, it is a nice stool, I must agree, the day has been all right, and....yo?"

Anastasia returned the students' greetings without looking up from her book until the last one caught her attention. "Yo, sir," the redhead muttered, tilting her head as she blinked at Clifford. "That's nice."

She closed her book with a snap and a little poof of dust escaped from the binding. "I suppose we should wait for a few more students to wander in.... but in the meantime, tell me, what do you all know of this area of the world?"

Bunbury turned on her stool and flicked her wand at the blackboard. It flipped over smoothly and revealed a detailed section of the globe.

"That's the, er, Mediterranean, Professor," Kiri said, raising her hand. "Europe to the North, the African continent to the South, separated by the, er, Mediterranean Sea?" She pointed. "That landmass looking like, uh, a boot is Italy, and then to the West, that's Spain and Portugal. I... don't know which African countries those are, though."

What else did she know? Not much, she had to admit. The term Mediterranean flicked a card in her memory, though. "The climatic conditions there are found in a lot of places all over the world, but they're all called... Mediterranean climate, I guess. It means that the summers are very dry and very warm, and that the winters are cold and wet." And because this was Herbology, she added, "Which means that most of the plants growing there have to be good at surviving long periods of drought in the summer, and lots of rain in the winter."

Iris looked at the map, she knew it was the Mediterranean area, so she figured that it was the sea. Iris raised her hand slowly and said, "um, well Professor, it is the Mediterranean Sea for starters. It is also is the most polluted sea in the world. The name Mediterranean means: "in the middle of the land". and is called this because it is almost completely surrounded by land" she added. Iris wracked her brain for anything else she could remember.

Cam looked at the blackboard and immediately realized where it was. He'd been there around those placesss! "Professaahhh, that's the Med. Sea," not bothering to say Mediterranean because it was all hard to pronounce and his mouth was lazy, "There's countries bordering it likeee Spain... France... Egypt... um... I think that one shoe-shaped country's Italy?"

"I see lots of blue there, Miss." Clifford pointed out, brow furrowing as he raised his hand. "I'm guessing that means lots of sea.. and THAT means lots of water.. and THAT means.. not good." Whoa, big breath. "Yeah, I see sea." Sea sea. HEHE.

Miss Starstalker was the first student today apparently blessed with a brain. Bunbunz had to refrain from rolling her eyes as the rest of the class provided basic answers and only Kiri brought up the Mediterranean climate.

"Excellent answer and thank you for relating it to the subject we're studying," the professor nodded at Kiri. "The Mediterranean climate has a factor in the growth and development of the plant we're studying today, if anyone can figure out what that is...."

"Is it really the most polluted?" Bunbury repeated the Slytherin, blinking at her a few times for good measure. "I did not kn--- I mean, good answer. So you know the root of the word Mediterranean. Fantastic."

She was not going to admit that her students could possibly know some things she didn't.

"Oh wonderful, so you have studied geography," Bunbury did roll her eyes at this one. "Do you know anything about the climate or weather there, Mr. Karsten? If not, I'd suggest taking some notes." Mr. Karsten-who-neglected-to-turn-in-the-last-homework-assignment.

"Another obvious observation," Bunbury drawled, studying her nails boredly. "Think about magic, Carden, since you are a wizard.

"Magical seas. Magic and water. Magic and Mediterranean water. Magic and Mediterranean water plants..... what do you all know about magical water plants of the mediterranean?"

Lucy raised her hand. "Well I know that Gillyweed can be found in the Mediterranean waters." She said, a little unsure about her answer.

Herminny raised her hand and said, "I believe one magical water plants of the Mediteranean id gillyweed professor.".

Well, that wasn't very nice now was it? And Clifford was beginning to like this Professor too.. that was quickly changing. Jaw clenching, the seventh year took a BIIIG breath to calm himself.. and hopefully cool his burning cheeks.

Raising his hand, he tried to redeem himself. TRIED. "Uhm.. magical water plants of the mediterranean.. they erm.. they - live in the sea? Like... seaweed?" Good one, Carden.

Did she--DID SHE JUST ROLL HER EYES AT HIM?!

Cam rolled his eyes back and did start taking some notes about whatever the climate and weather was over there. He raised his hand again to answer the question, "I think the that Gilly-something thingy is native ovah there."

Hayley raised her hand. Goodness she liked this class!

"Gillyweed can be found in Mediterranean, Professor!"

Bunbury WAS going to like her...end of story..

Cyrus stated at the Herbology Professor, completely absentminded. Mediterranean? Hmmm, the Aussie wasn't too familiar with it, mainly the Pacific Ocean.

But apparently all the other kids said gillyweed, so Cy would go with that. "Here here! I'll go with gillyweed as well." The first year saluted his professor with a sideways grin.

Oh Mediterrenean Sea! Grace's root. But she knew only one plant from there, the Gillyweed... And it had already told by other students. Oh well, she'd say it anyway. She raised her hand and said "Gillyweed is from there, ma'am."
