Corridors are for going between one place and another whether with a friend or significant other.

Natasha walked down the Fourth floor corridor, deciding what to do. Maybe she could go to the lake? Or even the library as it was closer. She wasn't really in the mood for reading, though. She sighed boredly, and leant against the wall.

Lilly walked into the hall to see a beautiful upperclass person leaning against the wall. "hello, my name is Lilly." lilly stated "you look a little bored. would you like to talk to someone?" Lilly questioned hopefully she was bored out of her mind

Evolette walked along the corridor following after her cat Muffin, who seemed to be searching for something, or someone perhaps? It seemed that all she ever did lately was follow the silly thing. He kept wandering about, this way and that, sniffing the air and meowing occasionally.

Actually it was starting to worry her. Where on earth was this little guy taking her? Was he sick? SHOULD she be worried?

Tuna! OMNOMNOMMNON. Ahh, the wonders that a simple tuna sandwich could perform for one's soul mood. And he was near the end of it! NUU.

Licking his finger, Terry waved his crust around in the air and strummed the air to a tune only he could hear.

His eyes snapped open though when a prolonged 'MREEAAOWWWWWWWW' suddenly joined in along his chorus. Sayyywhuuu?

He glanced over to see Muffin loping towards him. Aww! The kitten missed him! Dropping to his knees, Terry held his free hand out to stroke with, only to see the white fluffball charge straight for the sad remains of his tuna sandwich. ...right. So much for missing him.

Smacking his hand free of crumbs after Muffin had made off with his prize and had curled up in a corner all protectively, Terry shook his head remorsefully, only then catching sight of Evolette following up behind. 'Your pet does not have his priorities set straight, you know that?' Still, a small smile curved across his lips and Terry edged her a look, 'You been okay?' Ehhh, it'd been a while, hadn't it?

NOM NOM NOM. Muffin knew that he smelled something. It had only been a matter of time until he found it. Lifting his eyes and tossing a, what could only be described as a kitty smirk at the boy, he started nomming the sandwich. NOM NOM NOM.

Wrinkling her nose, Evolette finally caught up to Muffin, only to see him stuffing his face with a tuna fish sandwich. HUH? Then, she saw the one person she'd been hoping to see, yet had not seen since.... the last time she saw him.

Without even answering his question, she threw her arms around his neck, squeezing him tightly into a hug. Mmmmm. She'd missed him so much.

Pulling away, she smacked his arm as hard as she could. "Have you been avoiding me Terry Saunders?" she asked, looking hurt. Okay. She knew he hadn't really been avoiding her, but that's what it felt like when your best friends suddenly disappeared!

Natasha glanced up with a kind a friendly smile at the girl who had spoken to her, quite glad to be addressed. "Hey, I'm Natasha." She said politely as she held out her hand. "Sure, I'd love to. You a first year?" Natasha asked curiously, it was a pretty basic question, but, never mind.

Sigh. Gazing back forlornly at the dying remains of his beloved tuna fishsandwish, he was suddenly assaulted by the scents of cinammon and a faceful of caramel locks. Whoa, she moved quick on feet. Squishing Evolette tightly, he dropped a kiss on her forehead, crooking a smile at her tenderly before his eyes widened in shock and he dropped his arms away.

'Whoa WHOA. What was that for?' He eyed her accusingly, snatching away the hand that had been inching towards his smarting arm. ...no need to let her know that punch had actually for one, HURT. 'I haven't been avoiding you, woman! Lordie, I've been busy with things, y'know?' He cocked an eyebrow at her, and narrowed his blue eyes at Evolette suspiciously, 'Besides, how do I know you're not the one who's been doing the avoiding around here, eh?'

Perhaps she had been too quick with the smacking, but honestly, she'd not so much as heard from the boy all summer, he was a no show in Diagon Alley and now, there he was, simply wandering down a corridor and not making an effort to see her.

"I'm sorry." she pouted, pressing two fingers to her lips, she then tapped his arm lightly, as if consoling a child who had a boo boo. Wow. She must have really smacked him hard, his arm was quite red. "It's just that, I haven't seen you since, well the last time I saw you." she said, mentioning their last conversation, what a highly intense conversation that was. "You and Miles and Hugo have all suddenly disappeared!"

She hugged him again, squeezing tightly as if her sheer will could keep him from disappearing once again. "Can I blame it on how much I missed you?" she added, smirking, and blinking innocently at him, her blue eyes darting around his face. YAY! She loved her bestie.

Being mature and all like he was, Terry had been about to lean forward and pinch the girl when she suddenly stroked his arm. He pressed his lips together hard, OW. He nearly purred at her cool fingers on his arm. How weird would that've been? o_O

He'd have to examine his arm, later in his dorm where it was safe from prying arms. What was wrong with his arm?

When was the last time they'd talked? Was he supposed to keep track of all their conversations now? He nibbled his lip in worry, wracking his brains then dragged his gaze upwards and caught sight of the look Evolette was sending. OH. The Conversation. That's what she was talking about?

His eyebrows knitted over in confusion, 'Miles is one thing, he seems to have left the castle entirely, either that, or he's permanently taken to living under an invisibility cloak. But whassap with Hugo?' He sought her face, trying to pick up on any haywire signals. 'Are the two of you ...okay? You're not in the middle of a snit, are you?' Oh dear.

Her compliment wasn't missed. Terry instantly stood taller, puffing his chest out, 'Perfectly understandable, Evolette. I am a rather missable sort of guy, aren't I?' His mouth softened into a smile, and he tucked an errant curl behind Evolette's ear, 'Have I missed much the past month?' Worry underlay his tone, no matter how he tried to disguise it. 'How was your summer? Did you spend it at Hugo's again?'

Were they really going to talk about Hugo? For once in her life, Evolette did NOT know what was going on with her bestest bestie, and it was really starting to worry her.

"I went to Italy with Willow and when I came back, I barely got to spend any time with Hugo at all." she replied, pouting, her pink lips turned down in an utterly pathetic looking state.

"Now I haven't seen him at all. Not here, not back in Diagon Alley, I don't even know if he's still alive!" she added, tossing her hands in the air. A completly dramatic gesture, that just showcased how frustrated she was.

"So, basically, you're the only one I've got left." she added, nibbling on her lip. Great. She was left with compulsive jump off a bridge if it takes my fancy Terry Saunders. So why wasn't she worried? Ah. Cause she loved him. That's why, and if he did jump off of a bridge... she would probably jump after him.

Clark walked down the corridor with Natka. Hopefully, she would forget his comment. He really didn't want to lose a friendship like this, especially because she could carry on a great conversation, and she was deep. He turned to the side to face her and asked her a question. "So what about your family? I know you're an only child, but that's about it."

"OK, I've never been down here. How is it?"

Terry blinked exactly thrice, confusion clearly evident across his features, 'You. And Italy. With ...Willow? Whuuuuu?' Did she take him for an idiot? Then reason seemed to dawn on him and he snickered, 'Riiight, no seriously. Tell me, what did you do over the summer if you weren't with Hugo?' Anyone could tell he was being perfectly seriously, and he continued to watch Evolette expectantly.

'Alive? Gads, Evolette of course he's alive! I think Clara would know to tell us if he'd suddenly left this world, doncha think?' Seeing how worried she actually was, Terry relented as he reached for her hand, absently stroking neverending circles across her palm. 'I'm sure he's alright, where ever he is, Evee. He's probably busy, we all are. And we're growing up, have you seen much we don't see Miles? The same might be happening with Hugo, who knows?' He tried to reason gently, even though he knew the idea of a Hugo that wasn't everpresent for her at every moment might terrify her. 'Atleast we've still each right?' Hugging her reassuredly, Terry cracked a smile, 'How about I slowly and painfully smack Hugo about the head next time I see him, just for you leaving you hanging for so long?'

lilly grasped her hand and said "yeah im a first year, kinda obvious isn't it. i stick out like a sore thumb i don't know my way around yet, but i am making new friends so i guess its ok." she looked at the girl standing in front of her "what year are you in?" she questioned

Natka walked along with Clark, and in the free moment when they weren't talking, she thought about how glad she was that she'd almost tripped over him earlier that evening. she ahd made friends at hogwarts before, of course, but there was nobody she felt so comfortable talking to as she did to Clark, she realised.

Besides, she was flattered he thought her... beautiful.

"Oh, there's not much to know," she began in answer to his question. "My Mum's a witch, Dad's a Muggle, but you already kne that. She used to be a Claw here as well, you know. Apart from that... I was never really close with my mother's parents - at Dad's insistence, of course. He didn't wanted my early childhood to be as free of magic as possible. Instead, I spent most of my holidays in Russia, with Dad's family. I have two cousins there who are my age, Anushka and Sergei, so I enjoyed those holidays a lot."

Hmm, what else could she tell him? Oh, right, horses... she was amazed she'd manage to keep away from that topic for so long. Which just proved how good she felt talking to Clark.

"We also have a small stable back at home. Well, we only have four horses, but Dad always liked riding, and when I finally convinced him to buy me my own horse, he ended up getting three others as well. He's thinking about opening a riding stable full time now," she smiled while thinking about her home now.

"Down here, you mean the corridor or the lake?" she grinned. "The corridor is fine, though I never really paid much attention to it... like any other in the castle, I guess. As for the lake... well, you'll see yourself," she winked at him.

Cracking a smile Evolette watched as Terry went through the expected phases after he learned that she had spent her summer with Willow. "I'm serious Terry." she said, pulling on his arm lightly -not the arm she had maimed though- "Willow and I are friends." Didn't he know this? "She spent the summer with me in Italy and then I met her family. Her brothers are really cute." she added, wagging her eyebrows.

But her joy was short lived. Frowning deeply, Evolette nodded, "I know." She didn't exactly know how to explain this to him, if he would understand, or if he would think she was being childish. "Honestly, I'm used to not seeing Miles, he's always been the one to go off on his own." Tucking her hair behind her ear, "But Hugo has always been there, and now he's not." she paused as he took her hand. "I just don't know how to cope without him."

But Terry was right. Hugo couldn't always be there whenever she needed him to be, he had a life too. It was just that this was the first time she'd actually realized that all their talk, about being best friends forever, was a little far stretched. It was a reality check, and it hurt.

Sure she had Terry now, but where was he before? He'd been avoiding her. What if something happened again, and he left her? Then she would be alone. Without Hugo or Miles or Terry. Just Evolette.

She didn't even know if she was strong enough to handle that.

However, Terry was trying to make her feel better, and she couldn't very well stand there and continue in her self pity when she had someone she was possibly closer to than Hugo with her. "All right. As long as I get to hit him as well." she replied, smiling.

Lars did not look back at Jake, because he was too busy concentrating on not dropping Victoria Jaimeson. Well, not dropping and not letting her hit a wall or a stairrail or anything. "Don't apologize, young man," Lars said calmly. "Just don't overexert yourself. How exactly did you manage to set that bookend on fire, anyway?" Oh, there was a corner there. Lars directed the girl's levitated body out of the way of the wall, so she would not be bumped.

Victoria's band aid fall off and she is bleeding hard.

"I dunno," Jake said, deciding to keep his speech to a minimum. He noticed the band-aid/plaster thing land on the floor and picked it up, jogging up and sticking it back on the girl's finger. "I kept trying to Vanish stuff, and it kept melting, and then that did, and..." COUGH-WHEEZE-HACK! After that he tried not to jog and just to keep quiet, his coughs punctuated by the regular hacking and wheezing.

Grrrrr.

After her short unvoluntary visit to the...well, Nancy still wasn't completely sure which floor she'd just been on, she wasn't even completely sure how she'd ended up walking onto this floor. Anyways, now she was here and in this corridor. Which was good, somehow, because corridors normally led somewhere, right? Which meant that maybe at the other end of it there was something Nancy recognized.

So, let's go. Carefully making her way down the corridor Nancy continuously glanced behind her to see if there was somebody, anybody else on this floor apart from herself, somebody who could help her find the way to the Library. Argh! Speaking of which maybe it wasn't that bad that she'd gotten lost after all, if that meant that she could postpone her visit to the Library for just a little bit longer.

Sarah walked into the corridor after getting lost again and brushed into another girl who was just standing there. "Hey, watch where your going." She said seriously. "You could have knocked me over." She knew it was all her fault but she wasn't going to say it and if she could blaim this girl which she was sure she could, she looked at the girl to try and see if she could figure out what year she was in.

Sarah decided that she must be in at least the third year, she couldn't see her being in more than her fourth year, though she was sure it would be third year. "Do you think because you are older than me you can knock me over?" She asked looking straight into the girl eyes.

After some moments of contemplating Nancy had decided to move with the speed of Speedy, the snail she'd worked with in Transfiguration the other day, so as to spend as little time as possible in the Library and postpone her visit even further. Yes, that would be great. Maybe until she'd arrived there she had to be back down for dinner already so, unfortunately, she would have to go to the Library some other day. What a pity. Cough.

Slowly, about an inch per hour, the 14 year old moved her right foot forward, to make her way into the corridor, as all of a sudden something or somebody bumped into her back causing her to take a quick step forward to not lose her balance. Great, just great. Now it wouldn't take her as long to get to the Library is it would have taken her before somebody had run into her. Yes, thank you very much.

But now the girl who had totally bumped into her, blamed her for being in her way. What the heck?! Jerking around to face her Nancy found herself face to face with a younger Hufflepuff girl who was still showering her with accusations. "Oi! Stop that! I wasn't even moving." Well, technically she had, but only about an inch per hour so that didn't really count as going. "Only because you apparently can't watch where you are going...that's not my fault!" What was it with those little kids lately?
At the girl's last accusation Nancy just rolled her eyes before with a huge smirk on her lips she said sarcastically, "Yeah. Exactly. That. And because I'm in Slytherin and you're just a little Hufflepuff." Jeez!

Sarah looked at the girl and smiled. "Well maybe you think you can get away with that with some normal girl, but I am Sarah Jessica Winchester and I don't like people walking into me." She said as she looked up at the older girl with eyes that looked like thunder. "You should say sorry to me for trying to knock me over and until you do I am staying here and so are you." She smiled evily. "I don't care if you are a Slytherin you should appologise to me for running into me the way you did, you aren't lady like you know." She said with an evil grin on her face.

Brant started to walk down the 4th corridor and to his surprise his love Sarah seemed to be getting in a verbal fight with another girl. He walked upto her and put his hands on her shoulders and said "Sarah, Is everything ok I was just walking around and I heard yelling". Honestly worried for Sarah!.

Sarah smiled when she saw Brant, she looked at the hand he had placed on her shoulders. "Where, fine." She said. "The only thing that's annoying me is the fact that she tried to knock me over by running down the corridor and she just won't say sorry." She said angrily as she looked at him. "Other than that we are fine." She giggled as she looked straight into his lovely eyes.
