"Oh, you boys should decide what color to paint the room. I myself am very particular to blue," Vindictus winked and patted his pockets. "Hmm...thought I brought the darts with me."

James came down to the Ground Floor, stopping at Professor Vindictus's office door once again. He stopped and knocked. The incident in the Common Room..."And now the Kitchens" he thought... needed to be addressed.

Vindictus walked over to his desk and was rummaging through the drawers. He swore he had a set of darts in his office somewhere. "Yeah, well a bunch of the boys were wondering where the blue was," he said and looked up at the door when he heard a knock. "Enter."

James heard the command from inside the office. He gulped, breathed, and opened the door with slightly less confidence than he'd hoped.
He took a few steps into the room. "Hello Professor Vindictus. he said. He saw Cale standing in the room as well...Oh, this will be interesting. he thought, with a slight, very slight raise to his eyebrows.

He quickly turned his attention back to the Professor. "Professor, I came by to talk about the events that took place in the Common Room the other night." He stopped, thinking of that night when the room was covered in mud and he had given up trying to help the Prefect standing just a few steps away, but mostly to see if the Professor would stop him. Taking a breath he continued, "For seven years now I have worked to uphold the name of Lady Ravenclaw and with only a few days remaining, I don't want to leave on a sour note. If my tounge was sharp, Sir, it seemed dull compared to my reasonings. I apologize, Sir." He finished, holding his breath to see how the Professor would react.

Vindictus was puzzled since the bouncing bulb incident happened back in the winter. "Are you telling me there are more robot parrots squawking about the common room?"

James faltered...this was not what he had expected to hear from the Professor. "Erm...I have no knowledge of robots Professor. I merely wanted to prove to you that I would never turn my back on someone that wanted my help. Excuse me if I sound disrespectful Sir but it really sounded as if you considered me a traitor to Ravenclaw House." He stopped.

"Perhaps this is all just one very large misunderstanding..." he finished.
