*Thinking that you know far too little about you resident librarian you come into her office which before had been just another room for books. She has a large cherry wood desk and the walls seem like they are made out of bookshelves because you can hardly see any wall behind them. An oak ladder leans against one of the bookshelves and runs along the rail magically as certain books come off the shelves and others are replaced with an invisible hand as the ladder passes. Books are scattered all about the floors in large stacks but as you move towards Madame Rowena's desk you arrive at two large leather chairs in front of her desk. Along the bookshelves behind her desk however you see many pictures suspended mid-air without frames and you go over to take a look. Many are of the librarian on her book expeditions during her holiday. The one that catches you eye; however, is where Madame Rowena is surrounded by a group of waving natives and Madame Rowena is staggering under the weight of newly-found ancient scrolls but at the same time beaming at her new discovery. In one of the others it appears that it was taken in an Egyptian pyramid as Madame Rowena is standing next to a wall deciphering hieroglyphics of ancient magical curses and taking notes with her quill, scratching away in concentration. As you move away from her pictures frames you see a swirling pensive and numerous jeweled books in a glass cabinet against a bookshelf behind her desk. You give it a quick glance, but move away as you see a brass lock on the cabinet. On her desk a large scroll has been rolled out and books used as paper weights are placed on the corners to keep the scroll from curling. The scroll seems completely black but as you look through the magnifying glass suspended in the air; you see very ancient scriptures and symbols from ancient wizarding books. At this very moment Madame Rowena comes through the door and is excited to see her first visitor*
"Hello! How are you today? Anything in particular I can help you with?” says Madame Rowena with great warmth. |

Mr. Shrine walks into her office, obviously still overcome with emotion.
"Hey. Are you holding up okay?" he asked, concerned.

"Hello to you all...but I must ask you to visit me again another time for I have some urgent business to fulfill for Headmaster Hendrik," she states seriously with a warm tone. She watches the others leave and then shuts the door softly behind them. Without wasting a moment she heads over to her glass cabinet. She takes her wand out of her messy bun and as it transfigures into a key she unlocks the brass lock on her cabinet. She reaches for a silver plated book with the title Magical Fabrication and she places it onto her desk. She turns to page 897 and begins collecting ingredients from around her office. She takes her wand and transfigures a nearby quill into a cauldron and sparks a water-proof fire under her brass cauldron. She begins frantically placing ingredients into the cauldron following the directions of her book and stirring occasionally with her wand. After a few minutes the contents of the cauldron are in a high boil and Madame Rowena gives a satisfied nod.
"Excellent!" she states. She then rolls up the sleeve on her robes and plunges her hand into the contents. Her arm disappears up to her shoulder before she is able to grasp and find the object she is looking for. Madame Rowena pulls out dark leather book in triumph and places it onto her desk. She looks excitedly towards the clock and is in shock at the amount of time that has passed.
"I have to get this to the headmaster as quick as possible," she states her herself in a hurry. "I will have to put the last minute touch on it in the antechamber!" she exclaims. Madame Rowena then takes a nearby rainbow scarf and wraps it around the book and places it under her arm. She relocks her cabinet with a wave of her wand and speedily exits her office.

Hello Madame Rowena,
I thought we might as well get to know each other, seeing as I am likely to spend a great amount of time in the library. I've never seen such an impressive collection of books! Brilliant. I'll be seeing you soon then.

*Madame Rowena beams*
"Why hello! Should I address you Inki?" Madame Rowena asks tentatively. "I am always so thrilled to see students eager to read, I am glad to have you here. Warm chocolate cookie?" says Madame Rowena while extending a plate towards Inki.

*Madame Rowena gives a stern look towards these two students*
"Now EID LLIW NOR and Inki, I'm not exactly sure what might be going on between you two but I sense that it is a tense matter. Please settle it elsewhere as my office is not a stage for confrontation," states Madame Rowena. "I do not wish to push you away from me but I do not see how it is relevant for this to be taking place in my office."

*Nadia knocks at the door and steps in.
"Madame Rowena?" she says, "Mmh, I don't know if you remember but I was, well, in a project about the life of Harry Potter and you offered to give some info on him, seeing as you knew him. Think this is a right time?"
Nadia approaches the desk to sit in the esk opposite to hers.
ooc: =P I should have come ages ago, but I've been away from a computer for too long, due to me being on vacation in Bariloche (in Argentina). Anyway, I haven't forgotten, if you could still help me out...

"Hello Nadia, I did not forget as well. I suppose the best thing to ask is what exactly you want to know about him. The main memories I have of him are composed of when I looked into my great grandmother's pensive. She was a few years his senior and was in Ravenclaw but she still had some run-in's with him. She helped him a few times with some of his homework when she ran into him in the library and he wasn't able to find Hermione. He mainly stayed around fellow Gryffindor, quite conservative in that aspect but he was made for bigger things. He never went unnoticed for long as you probably already know," states Madame Rowena. Nadia nods.
"He was a true Gryffindor in many ways even though he had the qualities of a Slytherin. In a way...I suppose there is no better way to say it...he was human. He had all the characteristics of a typical hero but he had a great capacity to love and his loyalty was unrelenting which bound him to true friendships," Madame Rowena pauses for a moment and changes her gaze to a book in her glass cabinet but quickly shakes herself out of her trance. "I'm sorry there...lost my train of thought for a moment, do you have any questions to help better guide this interview?" asks Madame Rowena.

"Yes, indeed, I have a few questions. I'm most curious about the curse, the one his mother put on him to protect him from the killing curse when little. I realize there's not much fact in books, maybe you won't know, but seeing as you are the Hogwarts librarian... there's a good chance, right?
"Another thing I was curious about was about his fist years, the Triwaizard Tournament, and the way he died, only... I know that remains a mistery... but, if you habve any data?"

Nadia looked to the girl that has interrupted them  and then again to Madame Rowena. "Mmh... you know, if you are too busy I can come back later, it's no big deal. It's your call."
Nadia awaited for an answer still sitting in fron to Madame Rowena's desk.

"Well Nadia, let me straighten something out first. I physically was not in Harry's grade or generation for that matter. But my great grandmother did go to school with him and she recollected her thoughts similar to a pensive but different in that when you go back into the memories your present self is able to interact within the previous world of the memories. Therefore, I did not exactly go to school with Harry, I spent many days in his classes in the body of my great grandmother. It is very complex magic at work but it is not time travel. I simply was able to live in her body for a short time, just as she remembered it in her memories. Therefore, I was able to interact with him, but mentally I was in my present form while his was in the past. As for the curse that his mother lay upon him, there aren't many recollected accounts of what it actually was, I'm not sure many people even know and I have yet to come across a concrete source for that information. For the Triwizard tournament it became well-known that he was forced into that competition and his situation was published in an edition of The Quibbler. Regarding his death, again there are not many solid accounts on what actually happened as it is shrouded in mystery. And those who claim to know what really happened are questionable as no public announcement was made."
