Cole felt unwell.

Maybe it was the cauldron cakes.

Mayhaps it was entering his dead mother's alma mater.

Or something else entirely like those www candies he had secretly packed and eaten or just his usual stupid and irritating carriage sickness acting up?
Either way the blond fourth year boy with his sea blue eyes shuffled into the dining chamber of his new home for the school year hoping that he wasn't going to throw up on his plate or in someone else's lap. It'd be hilarious if he did that to Carsyn or Carys, but not to someone he had never met. Then it'd just be super embarrassing.

Picking an open spot somewhere down the middle Cole hoped desperately that he wouldn't need to stand up very long. His forehead was sweaty, his hands sticky and his stomach was in absolute turmoil, he could hear how it loudly rumbled and probably everyone else too.

Please nobody stop next to him with a horrible smelling perfume.....

Fancy Fancy Fancy

Eloise Fairfield was not quite sure what to make of this new castle yet. But the way here was awesome with that machine her and Karlin eat their way through. She had left just enough of an appetite for what they would be eating. But merlin this was way to fancy for Eloise.

Really where were all her friends? Circe, she should have been gawking at the castle like everyone else and not gone straight. Oh well even the French Headmistress was here and boy was she pretty and well kind of was like how everything looked here. Eloise took a seat and looked at everything on the table.

Mean, look how perfect everything looks.

Weird

Somehow Jillian felt like she had an upgrade with Beauxbaton. It's definitely a lot different than Hogwarts. That much she can't lie to herself. She's not complaining, not at all. Everything just feels.... expensive? It's like if her grandfather invited them to a party to celebrate and she needs to look glamorous because it's in a ball room setting. Yeah, it feels kind of like that. Jillian manages to find the ombrelune table, where they were instructed to sit. So for now she gets to dine in with 4th and 5th years. She finds a seat and her eyes roamed high and low.

"Wow" she uttered under her breath. It does look really nice.

But for now, she is hungry.

Can they start with the feast?

If there was one thing that Holly was looking forward to today, was the food. The opening feast always helped to make her feel better after leaving Cameron and her parents. It wasn’t that she needed them close by, she simply liked being able to call on them whenever she wanted too. With that said, she liked being able to call on Avery whenever she needed or wanted him too… and she liked his kisses better than Mum’s hugs. Sorry, Mum.

Looking around the hall, her eyes took in the elegant room; her ears, the music and she smiled a little. She liked the song, and instantly she tried to make up a routine to the tinkling sound. It sounded regal, which made her want to create a floor piece that would show that element off. With her eyes closed, she listened to it a little longer before moving back to focus on the sorting ceremony that was happening at the moment. Making soft comments to Alis and Jorgie, Holly wished for the ceremony to hurry up as she was starving.

She felt like she could have eatten a dragon. So far, no luck though.

Trinetta felt like her heart was going to jump out of her chest as she entered Beauxbatons Great Hall. Immediately, her eyes widened as she tried to take in every single intricate detail. Jimmy and Royland had told her that Beauxbatons was much fancier compared to Hogwarts, but they hadn't told her it was THIS fancy. They had seriously undersold this place. Her brothers had probably fit in perfectly here - and honestly, she probably would have too, had she started here.

But she hadn't, so she felt...odd.

At least there were no Beauxbatons students here, giving them judgey looks as they entered, which she was sure they'd all experience tomorrow when they finally mixed the two schools. She also noted that the tables were split up by year, which immediately took the pressure of trying to find the right table to sit at off her back. How perfect that the table her year was sitting at was actually the table her own brothers had sat at.

She spotted familiar red hair and grinned, plopping herself down next to Eloise. "This was my brothers' old table when they went here," she announced as she sat next to her friend, running a hand over the fine china that had been laid out for them.

The Headmistress was really...trusting of them, wasn't she? All this fine china around? It might be a disaster waiting to happen...

Uhhhhhhhhh..........

Yeaaaaaah, Lucas didn't know how to feel. He didn't know how to feel about any of this. It felt like he was a first year all over again, entering a new building that only made him feel a lot smaller than he actually was. But this was much different to Hogwarts. He didn't grow up on stories about Beauxbatons, he didn't hear all about Emma's adventures at Beauxbatons, he didn't know what to expect.

And maybe that's what was making him feel so anxious.

Yeah, maybe.

But unlike his first year, he didn't need to be Sorted, which was a relief. He just needed to go to the, uh, the blue table, with the other fourth and fifth years. This didn't really help with how he was feeling, especially when he caught sight of Emma all the way over there and not at the same table as him. Was this what the dorms were going to be like as well? Because sharing with the Slytherins had been bad enough.

Biting his lip, Lucas craned his neck down the table, noticing a few faces he didn't really know (Eloise, Jillian, Nettie, and Cole), one that even looked like he was going to throw up. Um??

Yeah. Awkward smiles were happening.

But then there was a face he did recognise and he made a beeline for her, instead. Hey, Holly, he was going to be feasting with you today. She wouldn't mind, right? Of course not. He hoped not. He wanted to greet her properly, ask about her summer and maybe how she felt about all of ~this~ but there were all kinds of new traditions here.

When the Headmistress sat down, Lucas gratefully plopped down in his own seat, and started looking around himself. The, uh, Dining Chamber? This place they were sitting in to eat? Yeah......... it looked fancy. Fancy was the only word for it, for this entire castle from the looks of it. He almost felt like he shouldn't be here, not when he had to go through the squeaky clean Reception area with his dirty shoes.

............. Squirm.

Was it time for the food to arrive, yet?

Now that the dreaded sorting was over, Naya felt like a weight was lifted off her shoulders. Now she was able to actually take in the beauty of her surroundings. On the way to the Ombrelune table, she stopped in her tracks. Beauxbatons was really quite impressive. Trés chic actually. Yep, that was about the extent of her French knowledge. Naya wondered how this school compared to Hogwarts. She would have to wait to get that answer. In the meantime, she continued to look around as she made her way to the table.

Once among the Ombrelunies, Naya was on a mission. It was time to meet people and make friends. She may be new, but she didn’t plan to be out of the loop for long. “Hello everyone”, the newly minted Gryffindor said to no one in particular. Spotting her train buddy, Naya found a spot across the table from her. “Hey Jillian” She was really glad to see a familiar face right about now. Let the Feast begin.

Ooooh at least one of the well ok Eloise didn't know how Beauxbatons was going to split up all the fifth year Slytherin girls but Jillian was here. Which made two so far at the table. More to come and she was waiting on Karlin to come in with the sweets.

"JILLIAN!..how was your summer..any boys any girls. Tell me Tell me!"

Ahem, well yeah she was hyped up to be in this new castle and all and even more fun it looked like all the fifth years and fourth years would be here. Which Holly getting here helped with affirming that. AH Nettie was here and OH MY CIRCE LOOK AT WHAT SHE HAD ON HER. IT WAS DA BADGE. Well, not the Head girl one but that was impossible but the other one. Which guess they do need even if not a Hogwarts anymore. "Nettie tell me about the badge and I will tell you about more Spanish boys and how good of kissers they were..also wait your brother was an ombrelune??" Interesting...but back to Spain, it was honestly the highlight of her summer. Besides seeing Navid and Calyx. Now Emma's brother was here and well hello Lucas Dakest. Wasnt he like she didt know looking like a small first-year like last year...interesting.

Will get even more interesting when Jackson and Alis and all her friends get here also.

Pretty even so far

Chloe was in the best spirits by the time she made it to the table. How could she not be with the trip as amazing as it was and catching up with friends, plus her cards seemed for the first years seemed to be a success. So why would she ever not be in good spirits walking into this beautiful place?

Her eyes scanned the area for her cousins, but she soon realized they weren't going to be with the others. It was just Hogwarts in there, was this how it was going to be? They were there but yet divided? She found that very interesting and kept thinking about it as she found the table and the next thing to think about.

All fourth and fifth years?

That was weird.... Not just her housemates. Well, that was okay, fourth years meant she could sit with Felix. Where was he? She looked around but figured he'd come later.

'Hey everyone" Cheerfully she waved as she looked for a seat. 'Congrats Nettie" She had seen the badge on the carriages but hadn't gotten to say anything. She was proud of her friend even though she might be a little jealous. It was the captain spot that she really, really wanted and tried to work so hard for anyway.

Running a hand through her hair she took her seat and tried to figure out what everyone was talking about and where to jump in.

He had known from the carriage ride over that the feeling over being overwhelmed by the gaudy nature of things was only going to intensify once they arrived at Beauxbatons proper. Despite the mental preparation, which had been disrupted by Theodore hugs, he only felt more and more agitated by the excessive luxury and he would struggle to explain to anyone as to why.

Sitting by years was an...interesting choice, but a preferred one given the circumstances and he was expecting to monopolize Missa's time as much as possible since the trip over have been preoccupied by entertaining first years. He just needed to find her.

Glancing around, his eyes too easily rested on Trinetta and...he was still processing how exactly he felt about the addition to her robes. And before anyone said it, no, Eiji Rasting was not jealous. He had no aspirations for wearing a badge. That had been something his parents had both done, which made it precisely the thing he did not want for himself. Maybe he was just being salty.

And since he also had zero aspirations for hearing about Eloise and her kissability ranking (okay...but guys? That may be what threw him most of all considering Celine things...and what he thought he saw there but...whatever), he was going to make his way as far away from his fellow fifth years as possible. Apparently.

Seeing as the Beauxbaton headmistress was already present, and a bunch of new faces at to boot, Eiji found himself a seat and opted to occupy himself looking at the Ombrelune banners and general decor. This was Jade's house here, so he supposed it was a fitting welcome for him seeing as she was his sole connection to this school and likely to be the only thing about it that he came away caring about - which was cheating because she was already someone he cared about a great deal coming in. "Probably the house here I would have ended up in," he grumbled to no one in particular as he grabbed himself a goblet of pumpkin juice to pour himself some pumpkin juice.

Nettie blushed a little bit. "There's not much to tell other than I got it over the summer," she explained with a grin. Did she know WHY she got it? No, not really. She had no idea what had happened to Hannah. "And what about the Spanish boys?! Find any you could share with me?" she asked with a small giggle. She was really going to have to get her to invite her to Spanish coast with her one of these summers. She could definitely use a summer fling...

"Yeah, both of them were when they were here," she told her with a head nod. "I always wondered if I'd end up here too, if I had gone here," she added with a small shrug. Honestly, house sorting wasn't something all that important to her like it was other people. All it really determined was where you slept for seven years.

She smiled at Chloe as she sat down nearby. "Hey Chloe!" she said with a grin. "And thank you!" she added with another small blush. She hadn't had a chance to see her fellow dorm mate much last term, thanks to...everything that had been going on. Considering what had happened with Teddy...she figured Chloe was probably thrilled to be out of Hogwarts for a bit.

She spotted Eiji walking by and frowned a bit as he walked by and sat further down from them. She wasn't all that surprised, but she never got to spend the opening feast with the Slytherins, so she was a tad disappointed that he had chosen to spend it over there. Which meant that when Missa showed up she'd probably spend it over there too. Perhaps it was for the best, as she still couldn't quite wrap her brain around how she had reacted when she'd learned she'd gotten prefect. The fact that Missa could be jealous of anything Nettie had, when she was...well, MISSA...was just so mind boggling to her.

So she just glanced over at him and gave him a little smile and a wave of acknowledgement.

Sebastian felt...........extremely out of place here. This would definitely be an interesting term. Was it just him or where they under dressed? He felt like he needed his dress robes for this place. It was so...luxurious.

The Hufflepuff was missing Hogwarts more and more with each step. It was definitely more laid back and not nearly as stuffy as this place. At least he had gotten the memo about having to sit at the Ombrelune table with the other fourth and fifth years and didn't look like a total dork going to the wrong table. Plus...he was walking in with Iclyn...which made him feel that much better. "Evening, everyone." He said with a grin and a wave to all of their tables mates. It was kinda neat to be sitting with other houses. One point to Beauxs!

"Ice, there's two seats there." He nodded to his friend.

Iclyn felt just about as out of place as Bastian did, and she hurriedly smoothed down her hair as she walked into the opulent room. She should have taken more time to brush it, or put on more makeup, or dress in her finest robes or.. something!

She felt like hours of prep wouldn’t get her anywhere close to being able to feel fancy enough for this room.

Merlin...

She looked up at Bastian as he spoke and she nodded. “Lets grab them. ” She said as she looked around the table and gave small waves to Eloise.. she didn’t see any of her other friends there or her brother..

She grabbed a seat and then patted the empty one next to her for Bastian to sit in.

Thankfully her nerves had taken over her fear of whatever she had done wrong in the carriage..

The carriage ride had been pretty opulent...but this place was putting the carriage to shame.

Sebastian could tell right away...Iclyn's wall was still up. He gave a quiet sigh to himself and gave her a smile and followed her to the seats. "Merlin...," he whispered finally seeing the table settings up close. This was TEW MUCH! "You feeling a bit.....poor?" He said with a slight chuckle, "Because I am." He grinned over at her, hoping to dispel any possible bad feelings she might be having right now after the happenings of the carriage ride.

Apparently, they weren't allowed to sit until the Beauxbaton's Headmistress told them they could....bringing up some not fun memories of their third year with that tyrant of a headmaster. But at the moment he was too scared to sit down because he didn't want to wrinkle the table cloth.

Iclyn had almost forgotten that they needed to remain standing and she did a weird half sit before standing up and she hoped no one had caught that. She bit her lip a little and sighed softly as she looked over at Bastian and her hands fluttered up to her hair..

“Mmmm, more so than usual.” she replied as she tried to smooth her blonde tresses up into a proper bun. Her hair being down didn’t feel like it was good enough for this place and she bit her lip as she tried to stand up as straight as she could.

She was grateful that her robes were at least new. The ones she was wearing that is. She had a few of her sisters old hand me downs and she took a breath.

“we’ve been here five minutes and I already feel like this place is judging me, and that’s just the decor. The students will be worse.” She bit her lip worriedly as she looked around, she wished she had stayed home with her sister and helped her work!

Not be here at this fancy place with fancy people who were sure to look down on her.

And she had messed things up with Bastian and..

She wanted to cry.

She wouldn’t.. but she wanted too.

Somehow she was getting the feeling that being here would at the very least prove useful to her art. Carys was still unsure about every other aspect of their being here at Beauxbatons. Everything just seemed so much more elegant than things back at Hogwarts. Prettier, if that was possible, and considering what she knew of her fellow Hogwartians, she felt like there was a possibility they’d end up tossed back to the mist any moment.

Just the look on the headmistress’ face up at what she was assuming was the staff table made her feel like they weren’t welcome. Not to mention there was the confusion as to where exactly she was supposed to sit, although it didn’t take her long to figure that out either. All her yearmates were at the dark blue table, so she headed in that direction. It seemed the best guess, even if she hadn’t seen her sister, Mark, Elias, Oceanus or most of the others she felt closest to.

Cole was there, though, so she headed his way, giving the others smiles as she passed them. Plus, an extra bit for the new Ravenclaw prefect. “Congratulations Nettie,” she said softly, before stopping at her intended destination.

“Um, are we going to need to find a bucket, Cole?,” she asked her cousin, nearly tempted to pull him down into a seat. If it wouldn’t risk ending up covered in vomit.

Sebastian tried really hard not to chuckle at that little dance that Iclyn did when she realize she was supposed to be standing mid-way through sitting down. He was trying so hard in fact that he was biting his lower lip with a very slight smirk. But he would keep pretending he hadn't seen it.

"For real." The puff whispered back. Honestly...he couldn't complain. His mom and step-dad did really well at the ministry, and well...Tristan and Kalen live in a huge manor...so....yeah. ANYWAYS!

Sebastian nodded in agreement to that comment. "Seriously...I'm glad I didn't leave my flip flops on. Probably would have gotten kicked out before I even set foot on the grounds." He looked over at her with a grin, before noticing how nervous she seemed.

He nudged her shoulder with his and said, "Hey...it's going to be okay. Those Beaux girls are going to be super jealous of how gorgeous you are...and all the boys are going to be chasing after you. Don't worry." He gave her a reassuring smile. Though his insides were writhing at the thought of any other person male or female chasing after her.

UGH. CRUSHES!

Missa was in awe. Everything she knew about Beaux - it all paled in comparison to the REAL thing. The carriage ride over had been an absolute delight, but being here?? - SHE COULD NOT PUT IT INTO WORDS.

The fifteen year old took in EVERYTHING as she walked toward the Ombrelune table, it was a bit of a pity because it wasn't her mother's house but in the grand scheme of things it really didn't matter - because at least she was IN the school her mother went to.

Along with the amazing decor, she also noticed the lack of Beaux kids? That was strange. Were they not going to ... mingle? The feast was such a perfect place to have that thing happen. Welcome and be welcomed.

Soon finding herself by the table, however, ravenclaw passed smiles around to all the familiar faces which made this place less ... unfamiliar. Nettie obviously got a sheepish smile, because the lingering feelings of jealousy were still present and she was pretty sure Nettie was well aware of these feelings too. Eloise got a wave, and so did Chloe. Used to sitting by them during the feast, she was just sliding onto a seat near them when she noticed EIJI just because he spoke up. And he obviously got a bigger smile, with an addition of a wave, "Really? I think I wouldn't have minded to be in Papillionlisse" she said, before turning to Nettie, Eloise and Chloe, "what house do you guys think you'd be in?"

Jillian pouted, she's mostly bored. It was time for eating and going back to the dorm rooms to get a good night rest, right? Granted that all the dorm rooms here are superb and very costly. Jillian feels like the moment she breaks something she may need to just transfer to Beauxbaton and repay for life. She remembers one of her aunts going to school here as well. How was that like? She should have asked her aunt for that. She found herself staring at the guy(Lucas) who came in and is walking around, she smiled at him as a form of hello, Jillian is a bit shy and she gets really nervous during the feast. It's like a meet and greet party.

She's caught by surprise when a voice called her name, a familiar one at that. "Hi Naya" she looked and greeted the Gryffindor she met on the train. "How is it so far?" she asks. It is nice to have her around, they can be buddies for the rest of the semester, who knows. Oh and she still needs to take her up on her painting suggestion. The two of them should do that during the autumn season.

Jillian beamed when she heard her name again. Eloise is definitely hyped up. "Eloise" she said, her voice a pitch up "summer was awesome. I did a lot of painting and did mini adventures with my cousins" she chuckles softly. "How about you? Tell me all about your summer." After what happened to hogwarts last semester , everyone definitely needed a brighter and more fun summer.

Jillian notices the girl that Eloise is also talking to, she calls her Nettie . Maaan, Eloise is really hyped up for the new term. That's cool. She eyed the prefect badge on her uniform before returning to look at her. Once again, Jillian smiles at the Ravenclaw Prefect. She's really pretty, Jillian can't even say 'hi'. As more and more students(Chloe, Sebastian, Iclyn, Carys) came in, the more Jillian got excited for this term. Her eyes looked around and saw students greeting each other and exchanging conversation. It is getting louder than it was 10 minutes ago when she came.

Catching a glimpse of the guy(Eiji) who came in and sat in the same table. He looked stoic and indifferent especially when he stared at Trinetta. So as not to be rude, she gave him a smile and an awkward wave. Jillian stopped herself from staring too much and returned to stare at the plates in front of her. It's bad to look at people for more than a minute or so-- or at least that is what her family tells her. Glancing to She casually took out her scrunchy and tried to fix her hair into a ponytail.

If they are going to eat soon, which she knows they will, she doesn't want all of her hair in her face. "Wonder what the food will be for today" she told everyone. Fancy food is a bit weird sometime and Beauxbaton is all about the fancy.

Yep, grandiose had definitely been the right word for the school and she now understood why Papa Carter had insisted on taking her on over to Paris to get her Hogwarts robes bought and fitted (she'd thought at the time he was just itching to visit the city). She wasn't having the feeling of inadequacy that her schoolmates were seeming to have. Though, now she stood out slightly amongst them. Sigh.

Dalia took her seat at the table carefully, so as not to mess up the fancy tablecloth and place settings and listened to the conversations swirling around her. She was definitely going to stick out from both schools. What had she been thinking?

Cole stared up at the staff table praying that the french headmistress would sit down sooner rather than later. He wasn’t sure how long he was going to take standing up in his current state. Trying to ignore the rumbling in his stomach and his otherwise poor feeling he smiled over weakly at Lucas as his year mate came over to the table. "Hi Lucas, good summer?" Cole forced out between taking deep breaths. Hopefully talking would distract him from wanting to throw up over the whole table.

Cole hadn’t exactly been paying attention to the sorting ceremony, considering how he was feeling and how he tried his best to keep himself in one piece. He did though force out a smile that he shot over to the new girl that joined them. "Hi, I’m Cole. Fourth year." He was going to add Gryffindor, but we're they going to be that here still? It was the least of his problems.

Cole forced down the vomit feelings as best he could, relieved when they finally could sit down. Slumping down in the seat he was hovering over felt like a little relief. It’d stop him from passing out or something if it came to that. Hearing Sebastian’s voice, Cole looked over at the fifth year and waved slightly as he murmured. ”Hi Sebastian!”

Cole closed his eyes, trying to breath hoping that the wish to vomit would go away so he could eat something when the food arrived. Sadly though when Cary’s arrived and asked him about finding a bucket he glanced at her and shook his head before he bent forward and threw up all over his plate and nearest dinnerware, and it probably also splashed at the nearest seated table mates. Wiping his mouth with his hand Cole turned weakly to his cousin mumbling. "I’m sorry Cary’s….I um think it’s too late for the bucket." Hiccuping, he added..."Could you get me some water?"Or the healer….This was so embarrassing…

Soon the conversations were all over and Chloe loved trying to keep up with them all. "Wait, what about Spanish boys?" Eloise sounded like she was really into this part and Chloe wanted to make sure she knew what was going on. She had been kissing a boy this summer too, but that was going to be kept to herself. She didn't need to gossip about who she was hanging out with or who she wasn't.

Seeing Eiji she gave him a wave but figured he was looking for others to talk to so the wave was all and she went back to listening to everyone else. Soon that person she assumed he was looking for had joined them. "Hey Missa, how was your summer?" She wanted to hear about everyone's if they were wanting to share. "Oh I don't know, maybe Bellefeuille because of the nature stuff and my love for Herbology and being outside, but then there is Papillonlisse for artistic and kindness and even though I don't think I'm that artistic I do love to do my posters and try to help others." As always Chloe was overthinking the houses like she did everything. Her eyes glanced around as she looked for her older brother and possibly Felix again, but she couldn't help but try to see if Fin was here.

Smiling and listening to Nettie she gave Jillian a wave as she came over, but just as she went to ask some more questions she heard a noise, but by the time she looked it was too late.

"OHMYMERLIN"

She jumped off her seat and back but tripped and fell to the floor, puke all over her. "Why wouldn't you rush to the loo?" She wasn't ever mean and she didn't mean it to be, but SHE HAD PUKE ON HER! This was not has she wanted the term to go and her very happy mood just went down hill.

Naya was good. With the worst part over, she was all in for enjoying the Feast. Then she heard her name called and turned with surprise. One of her table mates (Eloise) had greeted her. She wondered how the girl knew her name and then realized. Oh yeah,the Sorting Ceremony. Apparently someone was paying attention. “Hey there yourself”, she replied with a smile. “What’s your name?” So now she will have officially met two people at her new school.

More and more students came to the table and they seemed to generally be a friendly lot. With more greetings coming her way, Naya sent waves to students(Chloe, Sebastian and Carys) that she hoped to meet during the Feast.



When Jillian addressed her, Naya quickly replied. “So far so good. This place is pretty amazing. I’m starving though. I hope we get to eat soon.” Naya had really enjoyed her carriage ride with Jillian. She was glad that the fifth year was at her table. Hopefully they would get to hang out at Beauxbatons and paint like they had hoped.



Another friendly face appeared (Cole) only this one had a look that Naya knew all too well. The boy looked like she did when she was having one of her bouts of motion sickness. Hoping she was wrong, she said,“Hi Cole, I’m Naya.. ”It’s nice to meet you” And he was a fellow fourth year. Cool. “I’m a fourth year too, so I guess I’ll be seeing you around.” Naya was about to ask Cole if he was ok, when he began to talk to another classmate.

Apparently, Naya was not wrong. The next thing she knew, Cole was tossing his cookies all over the place. She could feel his pain. She knew how miserable it felt to be nauseous imagined how embarrassed he must be. Reaching into her pocket, Naya pulled out a piece of ginger candy. She never went anywhere without some. Going over to Cole, she offered it to him. “Here, try this. It’s ginger candy and it’ll make your stomach feel better. It really works. Trust me, I know from experience.” Fortunately Naya had not needed to use it on her ride to Beauxbatons.

Lucas was hyper aware of the looks he was getting. He couldn't help it. He was used to being invisible so these eyes just felt like they were burning into him. And why were they looking? Did he have something on his face? Was his hair much curlier than usual?

He reached up a hand to test the, uh, curlability of the curls while smiling over at Eloise. Hey. Hi. He wasn't going to say anything else because she was popular - and LOUD from the sounds of it - and seemed to be gathering a crowd around her so he was staying away. The other girl (Jillian) got a smile in return when he caught her smiling at him. And this time, he did find himself saying something. "Hey! Uh, how was your summer? Get up to anything fun?" Lucas immediately recoiled and slid AWAY from the mess and, unknowingly, closer towards Eloise, the new Ravenclaw prefect and someone he didn't know (Chloe). Sorry, Cole, but vomit was vomit. But he was sympathetic! Yeah, absolutely. Just..... from a safe distance, y'know? "Uh, do you want the Healer?" Because she was right there and she was probably the safest bet right now.

Maybe he should call her. Maybe he should just walk up there in front of everyone.
