Over the terms that Kaysha had been present, she had come to realise one thing: there definitely needed to be manuals to accompany the equipment that had been placed in the Entertainment Room. There were some students who had explained to her that they sometimes had difficulties figuring out how to use them hence her idea. Manuals for each type of equipment had been carefully compiled (complete with diagrams) and printed. The aim was to place them at an easy-to-spot angle in the Room.

It was for this Kay had just made her way there.

There was a kiddo there, which pleased her. It was always nice to see the Room in use. Within no time she determined that the girl needed help. The actions made it that obvious. “Shaking it will not help,’’ the woman said kindly. “You need to press and hold the power button. The Ipod will light up after a few seconds.’’

With his hood up and a rucksack on his back, Ewan pushed his open the heavy wooden door and stepped into the muggle entertainment room, ready for a day of relaxation with his favourite movies! Exactly what he needed. With a large grin on his face, he pulled out a list of his favourite muggle movies and started to search for as many as possible, ready for when his friends arrival.

Despite the events of the school year, Ewan couldn’t help but search with a rather broad smile and whistle a cheery tune whilst his hands automatically flipped through the various DVD’s, his eyes searching for a familiar name.

Today was just one of those days. The type where Rylee knew exactly what she would be doing upon completing her typical morning tasks. It was a curl up with a pillow, blanket, some snacks and watch movies kind of day. A lazy lazy day. Having had a rough night, watching movies all day was sounding better and better.

So it was with her bag slung over her shoulder and resting at her hip, Lamb poking his head out of it, that she made her way to one of her favorite spots. The Entertainment Room. Brushing a lock of ginger hair off her face and tucking it behind her ear, Ry, slipped quietly into the room.

No more than a few steps into the room she realized she wasn't alone. That dark curly hair and whistling could only be one person. "Ewan," she greeted softly not wanting to startle him inside Professor Stewart's Entertainment room in case anything got broken. "Seems we both had the same idea in mind for today... you wouldn't mind if I joined you, would you?"

With a small grin, Ewan turned as he recognised a familiar voice behind him. “Hey Tinkerbell, sure you can join me” he replied, the wide smile plastered across his somewhat resembling a monkey. Putting back the DVD in his hands, he grabbed the few that he’d pulled out and walked towards TV, ready to carefully place one into the player. “I’m only really going to watch a movie and relax so you’re more than welcome to join me. You know, as long as you don’t mind the movie”, because there really was no choice. He came here to watch Star Wars and that’s what he was going to do.

With a large sigh, he plopped down into a large beanbag chair and patted the chair next to him for Rylee to join him. “So how come you’re up here Ry?” a quizzical look across his face now. He loved the muggle room. It reminded him of home. Well, his old home. With all of the DVD’s and games consoles, there was sense of belonging in this room that the rest of the magical castle just didn’t have. Except maybe the Ravenclaw common room.

Rylee couldn't help but smile a little bit at the use of the relatively new nickname. "I'm still curious about something. If I'm Tinkerbell... what does that make you?" There was a playful gleam in her eyes as she looked him. "Hmm... well how much I mind really depends on what movie you plan on putting on." Either she would sit and watch it with him or leave but chances were she would be staying. After all she had come here to watch a movie and relax.

Walking over she sat more carefully on the beanbag chair, mainly due to having Lamb in her bag still. Wiggling her bum a bit to get herself all nice and comfortable, she moved her bag from her lap to on the floor beside her feet. Lamb promptly taking that as a cue to crawl out, up the leg of her pants and settle himself down on her lap. "This is one of my favorite places inside the castle. Contrary to what some might think I do enjoy settling down and watching movies." Especially ones where there was dancing and singing. She spent a great deal of time in here with Reese, Stefan and Drew just watching movies or playing video games.

With a loud snort of laughter, Ewan couldn’t help but grin back at his red haired friend. He honestly couldn’t remember how he’d ended up giving her the nickname but it had resonated itself deep in his mind now and honestly, it wasn’t going anywhere. Somehow. “Uh… I guess I’m Peter Pan? I mean, I can’t see me ever growing up!” He honestly didn’t mind what nickname she gave him because there certainly was one that was coming his way. “I’m having a Star Wars marathon today. You a fan?” The fact that he had to ask if someone had heard of Star Wars really did seem odd to him. After all, even if you didn’t like it in the muggle world, you would have heard of it.

Stretching his feet in front of himself, he nestled deeper into the bean bag chair as Rylee came over and did the same with Lamb. “I don’t really understand what there is not to like here. I mean, if I was a wizard and I knew very little about muggles, I’d be in here watching movies and playing video games all the time”. It wasn’t that often that he came here but on a day like today where it was clear that very little was going to get done, it was the perfect opportunity to relax with your feet up and a movie on.

There was noway that she could hold back her own laughter with, Ewan laughing the way he was. Rylee remembered very well how she got the nickname Tinkerbell from her friend. In fact she remembered how she got every single nickname that she ever had AND she had a LOT. "Pan it is," she laughed grinning widely. Pan was short for Peter Pan, that is. At least until she came up with something else. Right now Peter Pan was very fitting. "There's nothing wrong with holding onto the things that make us happy." Star Wars? That's what he was going to watch. "Not exactly? I mean I don't dislike it and I do know what it is but I haven't watched it all that much?" So he should be prepared for some questions.

Rylee nestled down into the beanbag chair just enough where she was able to rest her head back comfortably as well. "This is one of the best places to be when you're not outside. Movies, arcade games, music, video games... what more could you really ask for?" For the foreseeable future she wasn't going anywhere and by the looks of it neither was Lamb.

“Pan? Huh. I can live with that” a small smirk appearing across his face name, his mind briefly travelling back to the time an old friend gave him a copy of the book to read. “I’m sure you’ll give me something better but it’ll do”. Was he intentionally holding on to things? No. He just couldn’t help but make jokes and giggle as though he was still crawling on all fours. “Hey…hey Rylee, why is Peter Pan always flying?” pausing only for a moment before continuing “because he Neverlands!” A monkey like smile spread across his face as he waited for her response which was obviously going to be a chorus of laughter. “You know why I like that joke?” he chuckled, “It never gets old”.

Snuggling further down in his chair now, he couldn’t help but pull out his favourite blanket from his backpack and throw it over himself. “Star Wars is a pretty good movie. I mean, I used to watch it with Dad when I was younger. I don’t mind answering you’re questions if you have any”. He’d seen them so many times that he practically knew them back to front. “This is the Phantom Menace. Most people’s least favourite but I don’t mind it” he gestured to the writing that was flying down the screen in typical Star Wars fashion.

"Yeah, Pan. It fits," she laughed. Having seen the movie more times that she could count she knew how true that answer was."Oh, you better believe I will. Sooner or later when you least expect it." There was nothing at all wrong with being a kid. Oh, a joke! Rylee was about to say she didn't know but Ewan already was giving her the answer. 'He neverlands'. The ginger haired lioness cracked a smile which turned into laughter. "Cute. Very cute," she giggled. Before she could even stop laughing she was being told another joke which only made her laughter worse. "Oh my!" Those were so simple but funny!

Rylee glanced over at her curly haired friend and smiled seeing him getting comfortable. "You carry a blanket around too?" A blanket was just one of the many many things she kept in her bag. "That's good to know because I'm sure I'll have several." Still brushing her fingers through Lamb's fur, she fixed her eyes on the screen in front of her. "How come?"

Ewan couldn’t help but smirk a little at the nickname. It could have been a whole lot worse and well, it kind of suited him. “It does fit, I guess” he replied, a friendly smile on his freckly face. Sure, the ones he came up with were better but for Rylee, this was practically unparalleled. “Pfft, when I least expect it? Nothing surprises me when it comes to you, girl on fire”, his mind turning to the lyrics of his favourite song about a girl ablaze. That was until she started to giggle at his jokes and set him into a fit of giggles. What was it with other people laughing that made set him off? “Jheeze Ry, it wasn’t that funny!” his face contradicting what he was saying completely. “Do you know any jokes?”

Ewan couldn’t help but feel slightly embarrassed at being caught carrying around his favourite blanket. “It was actually a present from Dad when I was younger” he admitted, holding up the green and gold blanket now for her to see. Smiling slightly at the obvious amount of questions that were going to come his way, he replied “Well, these were kinda remakes that were brought out after the original trilogy but they were set before? If that makes sense” understanding completely that it didn’t exactly make sense. “Well, a lot of people who likes the original were not fans of this trilogy” his eyes now following the movement of the lightsaber on screen.

This being Rylee the nickname could most certainly have been much worse. She wasn't really the nickname giving type, she was the type that had all the nicknames. "Of course it does. Least for now anyhow," she laughed. "No? Why is that? Am I that random?" Rylee didn't think she was but who really knew anymore. "Yes it was! You know I laugh at the simplest of things!" This was true. Whenever she was with him it was a laughing party. "Me? Uhhh... just the kids jokes I tell Saros sometimes." Mostly about creatures and Winnie the Pooh.

A present from his dad. That hit her hard. She understood completely and without saying anything she leaned over and gave him a light hug. He would understand why. Sitting back she reached into her bag, rummaging around a bit before pulling out her blanket. Blue-gray eyes meet Ewan's for a moment. "I've had this since I was really really little." It was the first blanket she could actually remember owning and it's the only one she cared about. Laying the fleece blanket over her lap she let Lamb move about so he could get himself comfortable again. "Remakes made after the originals but supposed to be before those ones?" Uhhh... that was a little confusing but it sorta made sense. She had read books that had done that before. "Oh.. well who knows... I might just like it."

Moaning Myrtle was just minding her own business crying in the ceiling (floating halfway in and halfway out of the room above this one) when she heard the sounds of happy children having fun. The sounds were coming below her and were enough to make her stop sobbing to hear what they were saying.

Oh, they were talking about movies and Peter Pan, WERE THEY?! Well, she'd have a word with them about that!

Falling through the ceiling, the gloomy ghost flew to a halt right in front of both happy children. "La-a-lau-laughing about never growing up, were we?" she said in her most forlorn, dramatic voice - it was almost a whisper.

Was she about to screaming in her usual fashion? Maybe!

Giving nicknames was something that came easy to Ewan. All it took was a certain ability to connect the dots. Linking one thing to another. “I mean, maybe you are quite random or rather, maybe I don’t know you as well as I think” both were possibilities but he hoped that he knew his friend well enough. Then again, he knew that she’d laugh at the joke so I guess he knew her well enough. “Kids jokes?Ry, you know I’m a big kid, right? Try me”. Maybe she didn’t know him all that well.

Ewan could see the change in her face when he mentioned his Dad but tried to ignore it as best he could. Not that it bothered much but he knew the expression all too well. Aha, a hug? Leaning into the hub briefly and smiling, Ewan couldn’t help but be grateful to have such a good friend “Thanks Ry, I appreciate it”. “This thing is years old but I love it all the same” gesturing the fleecy golden green blanket in front of him now.

Watching her closely now, a wide smile on his face, Ewan couldn’t help but giggle as he watched her face as he explained about the order of the movies. He was no doubt about to confuse her more when the sound of a nasal voice drifted through the air, hurting his ears slightly. Looking around now, his eyes caught sight of a ghost floating through the ceiling almost like a leaf falling from a tree. Tactfully ignoring her question in case it was followed by a Myrtle sized hissy fit, Ewan replied in a somewhat gloomy voice “Oh, hey Myrtle, how are you?”.

With her, nicknames depended on the person. For some people a nickname just popped up in her head like it was nothing. Like with Reese or Stefan for instance. Rylee lifted her shoulders in a slight shrug while cracking a smile. "Maybe I am random but never really gave it all that much thought." In her mind she was just her. Rylee. "Of course I know how you are, silly. I was just saying that I mainly know little little kids jokes that I tell to Sar." Not that it matter really because look at her, she laughed at all the jokes. "Okay so... What does Winnie the Pooh wear to bed?" This was Saros' favorite one and always made the toddler giggle. After waiting a few moments she answer, "POOH-jamas!" Cue all the giggles.

That look wasn't just about his dad, it was about understanding what the blanket meant to him. How something so old could still be cherished and loved. She smiled softly. "That's how I feel about my blanket."

The movie was just getting started and she was just getting into it when a whiny dramatic voice came from above. Lifting her gaze onto the ghost girl as she settled right in front of them. "Hello, Myrtle." Short and sweet.

Ewan couldn’t help but give a small giggle and shake of the head as Rylee told her joke. He had to admit it, it was almost as bad as some of his, but in a good way if that makes sense. It was a good, bad joke? Anyway, he enjoyed it. “You know, that isn’t that bad” a small smile on his face now, his mind wandering to the image of a small baba laughing at his favourite Pooh jokes.

He knew she understood too well what his family, and in particular his Dad, meant to him and he knew what hers meant to her too, now more than ever. This was one of those things that they shared in common. With a small nod and smile, the lump in his throat somewhat subsiding, nothing more was said about it, for nothing had to be.

Well considering he’d come here to watch a movie, his mind was everywhere else but on racing pods that were currently flying through a desert on the Tv screen in front of them. With a small shake of the head, his focus returned to the movie and the obvious victory that was about to take place for young Skywalker. "So, any questions so far? You've actually been pretty quiet" he called over to his red haired friend sprawled next to him.

Her joke wasn't the greatest out there but it served it's purpose when it came to making her nephew giggle. Rylee smiled softly hearing him giggle. "It was bad... but it's okay," she laughed softly. "I don't tell many jokes as you can tell." She likes adventure and fun and was a goofball at times buuuuuuut as he could clearly see she wasn't the best when it came to being a comedian.

That quiet moment that followed wasn't a bad one. It was full of understanding and friendship, one of those moments were there were no words that could be said. And that was alright. Sometimes words weren't needed.

"Lookit him go!" Rylee exclaimed, speaking about the little sandy haired boy on the screen that had just won the race. "Oh my gosh! He's adorable! Is he in the rest of the movie?!" There was the first question. Young Skywalker had gotten her attention and now she had to know what was to come of him!

Granted her joke wasn’t the greatest but Ewan appreciated it none the less “It was perfectly fine. You wanna know a secret?” leaning in closer now to whisper in her ear. “My jokes are terrible but I still tell them because it makes me smile and if I can make someone else smile then the world’s a better place”. And the fact that he was in fact a massive idiot too. But also making the world a better place.

Ewan couldn’t help but smirk as she got more and more invested in the universe and the characters in it! “The actor isn’t in the rest of the movies but his character is and he becomes quite important too” eyes still on the movie, he couldn’t help but cough and smile at his undersell of the century there. Eyes a little wide, Ewan focused back to the movie, ready for them to leave the desert. Ready for the Jedi duel between two of his favourite characters “Get ready for this small fight Ry! You’ll see one of my favourite baddies!” Trying not to geek out too much, Ewan sunk deeper into the bean bag, pulling his blanket up further in the process, his eyes floating between the screen and Rylee. Her reaction was… interesting.

"Ooh, I've been most DREAAAAFUL," Myrtle answered (ignoring the hello's) in her most dramatized voice possible. "Did YOU know there is another ghost in the school?" She said with the HUGEST of smiles - though ghostly tears were running down her cheeks. Her face became serious. "But she doesn't have the good sense to feel HORRID like I do. Maybe that's because SHE at least got to grow up before dying. Poor Myrtle didn't get to grow."

The smile vanished from her voice and she out a hiccup. She was in danger of breaking into a river of tears. "What are you watching?" She floated around to look at the screen.

Rylee smiled. Did she want to know a secret? Of course she did! "Mhmm," she hummed softly nodding her head in response to his question. "I like your jokes. They always make me smile... and giggle." Easily amused, that's what she was. Making others smile and laugh was the best feeling so she fully agreed with him on that.

"Huh?!" The lioness glanced over at him and blinked in confusion. What in the world was he talking about?! "How come? Does he grow up and they need to use someone else to play him?" That was pretty much the only thing she could think of right then without taking her focus away from the movie to much. There was TONS of movies and shows where the kids got older so they needed to change the model. A fight?! Rylee turned her blue-gray eyes back towards the screen watching intently. "Which guy am I looking out for?" She was curious who it was he liked best.

It came as no surprise that Myrtle ignored their greetings or that she was doing... Dreadful. "I did. Professor Dopple." Poor women was eaten by furry pink mutant creatures and hadn't even known it at first. Rylee managed what was a very good gasp of surprise at this news. "Oh my! Who would've thought she wouldn't be in the most horrible of moods." Perhaps the older women had had a lovely life. "Star Wars." It was Ewan's favorite.

Ewan couldn’t help but grin at her now, after all, his jokes were not to everyone’s taste *Cough* Annabeth *Cough*. “Then I’ll keep telling them to you!”

“The second movie kinda goes forward a few years and he’s older and played by an older actor” he replied, a small smile on his face, his eyes still on the movie. The movies could be confusing but he knew she was smart enough to understand them. “It’ll all become clear very soon” he continued, pointing at the screen now as the red faced villain hunted the Jedi through the desert. “He’s so under-rated as a villain and his fight scenes are pretty damn cool”. Was he a typical boy who liked cool light saber’s? Yes. Did he love cool fight scenes? Yes. Ewan’s eyes were now glued to the screen as the Jedi narrowly escaped the Sith.

Ewan couldn’t help but roll his eyes at Myrtle, somewhat bore of her over dramatic personality. There was enough drama at Hogwarts without her attention seeking dramatics. “Does she really need to feel horrid though Mert?” a small smile playing on his face now at the shortening of her name. “I mean, I’m sure she’s sad but I can imagine it’ll take a while to sink in”. He honestly couldn’t imagine just waking up and finding out your dead. Like… Boom. Dead. “You know, maybe you could feel sorry for her? Instead of I dunno, feeling sorry for yourself?” Ewan couldn’t help but feel slightly annoyed at her lack of sympathy for the poor woman now. Letting the subject drop, he gave a small curt nod “Yup, we’re watching Star Wars”.

"Good." Not all jokes were good ones, like the one she told hadn't been that good. The point was she tried.

Rylee nodded. "Well if he's in the next movie and older that means he wasn't killed. So that's a plus." Star Wars wasn't like any of the Disney movies she normally watched but it wasn't bad either. Simply different. Falling silent again, her eyes still on the screen she watched closely at what was taking place. Light saber's were pretty cool! "Do the colors mean anything or is that just for show?" There she was being curious again.

As Ewan spoke up as well her gaze shifted over to her friend and she nodded in agreement. The only reason she hadn't really said those same words to Myrtle herself was she didn't feel like hearing Myrtle whine and cry which would ruin their movie.

Pausing for a second mind thought, Ewan turned and froze “Uhhh sorry Ry! I’m terrible with spoilers!” which was very true. Making a mental note not to spoil anything else from the movie series, he turned his gaze back to the movie. “I guess you’ll have to wait and see”. Smooth. “The colours? Nope. Well, I guess. I mean, generally, the red ones are for the Sith and every other colour generally tends to be for the heroes”. Was that a spoiler? He briefly racked his mind before mentally confirming it as true. Ewan really didn’t mind her curiosity. At least she wasn’t bored.

Eyes still on the screen now, Ewan couldn’t help but grin at the up and coming fight scene. The two Jedi vs The Sith apprentice. His favourite baddie in the series. “Don’t worry Ry, it’ll be over soon”, his mind wandering briefly back to the ghost that was hovering near them. “You know, you should really introduce me to Stefan sometime” he added at the end, somewhat out of the blue.

Spoilers? That had been a spoiler? Rylee blinked over at Ewan a semi confused expression on her face. "How was that a spoiler?! Does he die?!" Not even halfway through the first movie and she was already invested in the outcome of the young boy, Anakin Skywalker. She nodded slowly. Colors didn't really matter much. "Sith? Those are the baddies, right?" Nope, wasn't bored at all... least not yet. So far her interest was peaked and she was left wondering what was going to happen next.

"Over soon?! This part or the movie?!" It couldn't be the movie as it only just started so he must have meant this fight scene. "I don't mind fight scenes it adds more to the movie." Plus this wasn't the first movie she had seen with fight scenes... it was just her first Star Wards movie. There was an instant smile on her face as she glanced over at Ewan, his statement taking her by surprise but in the very best of ways. "Absolutely. I'll make it happen." In all honesty it should've happened long ago. Oops.
