 The cleanest room in the entire castle is, for more than obvious reasons, the hospital wing. Considering this is a magical school and accidents happen, it is not uncommon to see students and even staff being sent or brought here throughout the school year. Rest assured that no matter what mishap or injury you have, the school healer will have you fixed up and back to normal in no time ... depending on the severity, of course.
The primary feature of this decent-sized room are a series of standard issued beds. Accompanying each bed is a set of dividers, meant to give the person staying here privacy, and a wheeled table at the foot of it containing a jar of crystal clear water, glasses, and a vase of brightly coloured flowers. For those staying overnight, the bedside tables contain a set of sterile pyjamas and a pair of clean socks that are charmed to adjust and fit the wearer. Two steel chairs have been provided for visitors -- these are not the most comfortable as the patients here need plenty of rest in order to recover quickly. As per her job description, the healer rarely leaves the room when there are patients under her care and is always on call.

And bottoms up she did.
If the potion tasted funny she couldn't really tell. Every single thing tasted good after she got up close and personal with the furball. It did seem thing to be working its magic though, as what the Headmaster said, because as the minutes ticked by, Harri got to watch her furry arms give way to familiar skin. Undeniably, the itching had lessened too...until it was no more. "Ahhh, much better." Truly, truly.
Was she supposed to cry?

Kassie had moved to the side to drink her vile as the events unfolded before her. The Head boy and girl were quite the pair. The two of them, fur covered and itchy, would be a sight she wouldn't soon forget. She figured it was one way for them to leave a lasting impression on the students and staff of Hogwarts.
Archer, Torii, and Harri were also being taken care of, which left her to watch for any new students to enter. Then the crying started. Chloe bursting into tears was not what she expected. "Oh, dear. Are you alright? Do you need to have a seat?" She hoped it wasn't a side effect of the potion and that the young lady was simply emotional with relief.

Torii had been content to just blend into nothingness as she took her place in the line. It was embarrassing enough to itch, grow fur, and eat all sorts of weird things. But to stand out here in the open and parade it? Thanks, but no thanks. Not that it made a difference, though. Nearly the whole school, it seemed, had been infected.
But just as she stood there, hoping no one would really notice her, she felt someone plow into her back. Umm...OW. She didn't even have to turn around, although she did anyway. She'd heard the unmistakable voice of Nettie, hear for the cure, just like everybody else. "It's okay," she said. "You're pretty good about this sort of thing, you know?" Running into people...
"We're fine, Headmaster," Torii said, turning to face the head honcho himself. "Going to even better in a few minutes, I hope." They were sure this cure would work, right? Riiiiiight? Desperate for the hope of a cure, she reached for a vial and turned it up, devouring every last bit of it.

The plugging of his nose helped, sorta, and the Head Boy did manage to drink the entire phial in full without his gag reflexes kicking in. Though, truth be told, he had consumed stranger and much....MUCH more unpalatable things.
"Could be worse, headmaster," the Hufflepuff replied with a shrug. "Reckon this conclusion is actually one of the more, well, normal ones in my time here at Hogwarts." No inferi, no portals with monsters, no Dark magic posessions, no law breaking confusion with polyjuice...yeah. This was pretty normal. Some itching and fur growing with cute little creatures that ate things...including Professor Dopple who was still sticking around as a ghost and seemed...happy regardless of it all.
Yeah, things really could be a whole lot worse.
Though his bright blue eyes were soon locked on Chloe, their conversation prior to their arrival here in the hospital wing still very much fresh and on Sonorus in his mind. So her tears, well, he really wasn't all that too surprised by them. In fact, he even smiled seeing them and moved closer to her side as the Divination professor addressed her. "Relief, professor," he assured her as he used his thumbs to make an honest, but feeble, attempt to dry the Head Girl's cheeks. "...hey..." he whispered softly to his girlfriend (!!!!). "....chocolate frog?"
Though...maybe they COULD use this whole thing as a reason to malinger?

Blushing, Nettie nodded. "Yeah, sorry...and we're fine Headmaster," she added with a small grin as she apologized to Torii and then took the cure from Trent. Wooooow. She could hardly believe that it was really here in her hands! The long awaited cure! She could see her beautiful hair now, returned to its normal length and shininess. No more itching either!
She gulped it down and as she waited to see if anything would happen, she looked around the room as her classmates transformed around her, back to normal. If she hadn't heard her talking, Nettie honestly would not have known it was the Head Girl under all that hair. She'd have been crying too, if she had been in that situation. And Derf! Look at him!
Suddenly, Nettie felt the braid that she had along her back shrinking, and her hair was back to shoulder length a few seconds later. It felt so much LIGHTER too, not bogged down by its thickness any longer. It was BEAUTIFUL!
Looking back at Chloe, she decided to try and do...something? She walked over and gave the girl a gentle hug. She didn't say anything else, just hugged her. There there?

Chloe dashed the tears from her eyes and leaned against Derf. He'd been himself the whole time he'd been furry, but it was nice to have his real, unhairy arm around her, wiping away her tears. "Do you have chocolate frogs?" Of course he did. He always did.
She smiled, a bit wobbly, at Professor Sutton. "I'm okay. I just really... didn't feel like myself the whole time I was furry, and the itch was making me feel crazy, and I'm finally me again. I know it's stupid, but sometimes you have to be stupid." When Nettie appeared for a comforting hug, Chloe didn't deny the younger girl a tight squeeze. Hugging really did fix all of the world's ills.

No, Harri didn't cry at all but she did look up at the older and much taller students around her especially at the Ravenclaw Head Girl who spoke up. She was right. Being a furball was in one aspect cool but the constant hunger and nonstop itch drove her nuts she couldn't sleep properly. She ended up reading as a form of distraction most nights. It was so unlike her.
When the other Ravenclaw girl, Nettie, moved to hug the Headgirl, Harri did the only thing that came to mind. She tugged on the robes of the two other students on either side of her (Derf and Torii) and pulled them to the already embracing Ravenclaw girls.
"GROUP HUG!"
