Paul is mellow, chill, and relaxed almost all the time. He is easy-going and laidback about mostly everything, even caring for his plants is done in a relaxed way. He is all about connecting with nature and spiritually connected with all people; he is kind and cares for others greatly. He can handle extreme amounts of alone time and be fine, but he can also socialize just as well. He goes with the flow. An unkind word almost never comes from Paul’s mouth...unless you’ve /really/ made him mad...and you’ll know if he’s mad. He cares for those around him immensely, and family means a lot to Paul. He cherishes friendships and will always be the one his friends have gone to when they need someone to listen to them. While he is nurturing, he is so focused on his career and his passions that children have never been in the stars for him or Milton.

Raised in a lazy, small town, Paul has always been mellow. Things came easily for him from the beginning; his signs of magic were early, and even once he went to muggle school, he excelled in his classes just fine. He acclimated with muggles well, too. Once he started at Hogwarts, he found it difficult at first to make friends. His father was a farmer, and his mother, too. Connecting with other kids his age was difficult due to his lack of common grounds with them; many of them struggled with the magic, and Paul either picked up on the type of magic he was learning right away or….neglected the ones he wasn’t good at.
If Paul has a flaw, it’s the apathy towards things he does not care about/not good at, which has fostered since he was a child. He was attracted the quiet of the greenhouses early on, and he found that his green thumb was probably good due to his parents’ skillset at home. He was always good at caring for animals, too, but plants...that was always Paul’s passion.
In sixth year, Paul got his first boyfriend. Things didn’t last because the boy graduated at the end of that term, and Paul, being a heartbroken little softy, was very sad about this. It took a toll on him that summer, and he spent most of it locked in his room, cross breeding plants and perfecting his banjo playing. Paul had started playing the instrument very young, before he was Hogwarts age, and he began a band. He didn’t realize how little use Wrock bands have for a banjo player, but alas, eventually the band he started gave him the boot. His seventh year was long, and he was the saddest he’d ever been….
Until he decided he’d go to school to be a herbologist.
He graduated from Hogwarts, leaving behind his sister, who was a second year Hufflepuff at the time, and right before starting at University, he changed gears. He decided to take a year or two to travel. His parents were not very wealthy, but his paternal grandparents had invested well and had loads of gold to lend their very brilliant and smart grandson, who took the money without apologies to pursue his dream of exploration. Paul went all over; China, Japan, Russia, South America, Africa, the US, Spain, Norway, and more.
Paul was ready to go home, buckle down, and get back to school when he met Milton Willingston, a very forthcoming business student from New York whose dream it was to own a vineyard in the hills of Italy. They met in Venice, and the rest of their love story is, as the title of this section would suggest, history.
The young passionate banjo-playing herbologist went to school for Herbology and kept in touch with his boyfriend, Milton. They lived far apart from each other, since Paul went to University in Dublin and Milton went to school in Italy, but they were able to see each other often enough. He finished school with the degree he set out for, and immediately moved in with Milton, who was due to graduate his own business programs in due time.
Their story was a happy one until Milton’s very uppidity parents found out about the young couple living together….they were twenty-two. They threatened to take away the inheritance from Milton, which he was decidedly depending on to start his vineyard, and so….he broke Paul’s heart. Paul was told to leave his home, bags packed, and find somewhere else to live. Paul was devastated and moved in with his sister, Taylor. Milton did not contact Paul for a few months….and Paul tried his best to move on.
A very dramatic reunion between the two settled their differences for good. Milton and his parents and Paul all sat down and discussed things….Paul and Milton decided to never join in an official marriage because Milton’s parents refused to let him have any inheritance money unless they stayed…...not married. Paul and Milton were happy to oblige, since neither were interested in marriage before, and they just wanted to be together and be happy.
Many years later, Milton got his vineyard. Tuscany, Italy, is where they now reside after many years of building up their little home. Their estate is huge and vast, and contains not only Milton’s vineyard but also Paul’s three greenhouses, an enormous garden, and they both have their own horses. They do not want children, but they do enjoy when Taylor brings her kids over to spend weekends and vacations at the estate.
Early in 2078, Paul’s banjo playing was finally appreciated. After playing for pleasure at solo venues for years, a band finally began and asked Paul to join. They called themselves “Bleugrasse,” and, haha, so funny, they are a bluegrass band. Paul does not sing, he merely plays the banjo for the group. The lead singer is Clifford “Calamity” Tammany, and Mark Sparks is the washboard player, but he also plays the jugs. Pearl Sparks, Mark’s mother, is the wildest eighty-year-old to ever grace the stage. She plays keyboard, and sometimes harmonizes quite well with Mr. Calamity. Paul greatly enjoys being in this band to this day, and still performs in venues around the world...wherever bluegrass music is wanted and appreciated.
Prior to being hired as a professor at Hogwarts’ School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Paul simply enjoyed the quiet, peaceful life of taking care of his greenhouses and gardens. Occasionally, he will help Milton with the vineyard business, but nothing major. Paul enjoys relaxation. He looks forward to his first year of teaching at Hogwarts. He is a well known botanist and enjoys a relationship and connection with many of the top botanists in the UK.

Henry is an exceptionally friendly and outgoing person, pretty much living by the motto, "A stranger is just a friend you haven't yet met." He can often be quite talkative and has no problem initiating conversation. He is very loyal to those he is closest to and he tends to believe the best in people, sometimes to the point of naivety. He is also fairly polite and respectful, but he does make sure to leave room for fun.
Nearly always full of energy, Henry often has a difficult time sitting still and cannot always focus for long on things that do not hold his attention. He can be very motivated, however, especially with something he is interested in and he sets his mind to accomplish it. He tends to be active, preferring to be outdoors and engaging in more physical activities, such as sports, rather than passive ones, like reading.

Henry is the second child and only son born to muggleborn parents, Matthew and Eloise Whittebrook. There is a 16 year age difference between him and his sister as just as his parents were certain they couldn't have any more children, Henry came along to surprise them. Though he was doted on by his much older sister, Henry felt somewhat lonely as a young child, eager to have friends his age as he didn't have any siblings close to his own age. His parents enrolled him into many extra-curricular activities to help him interact with peers, and he went to a muggle elementary school. Having muggleborn parents, his house had many muggle commodities as well as magical ones, giving him the feeling of having the best of both worlds.
Coming from a sports-centered family, it probably doesn't surprise those who know him best to know how much he is into athletics. Though bouncing balls were among his favorite toys from a young age, his sister had been a professional Quidditch player for years, someone he very much looks up to, and she taught him much about the sport. He attended many Quidditch camps over the years and with the assistance of his own focused training, recently plays for England's U17 summer league as chaser. His father also owns one of the professional Gobstones teams, and while he does enjoy that game too, it doesn't quite compare to Quidditch.
As Henry headed to Hogwarts his first year, he was certain he would be sorted into Hufflepuff just like his parents and his sister before him. He is a very proud badger, though he is happy to say he has friends in all the houses because they are all just as great. Though he probably wouldn't admit to many about how homesick he was at first, he soon found Hogwarts to be a great home away from home.

History:
It was a dark and stormy day... Psh. I'm only kidding. Well, it might have been a dark and stormy day, but who knows or cares? It was June 17, 2082, when Maddie came into the world, mouth wide open and probably screaming for a hug or some food. Or both. She was PERFECT, and her parents loved her right away. Well, just kidding about that, too. I mean, it could have very well happened, but who knows? Her parents did love her right away, though, as any parents should and hopefully do. They raised her in a loving and very caring environment.
Maddie attended Wizarding Primary School as a very young child. When she was four years old, she helped welcome a little brother, and when she was six years old, she helped welcome a little sister. Life proceeded as normal with toys, rainbows, pastries, and cuddly animals being the main focus of things. Maddie likes to consider herself all grown up now that she's attending "the big kid's school," but who is she kidding? She doesn't even know what it means to be grown up or even what it means to be fifteen or sixteen.
This brings us to September 1, 2093, where eleven-year-old Maddie is all packed up and ready to take Hogwarts by storm! She's ready for Hogwarts, but Merlin only knows if that castle is ready for her. There is not enough Calming Draught in the world to tame this wild thang.

Background
Harriet “Hattie” is the third child of Seth and Vanessa Paton. She was born on a frost Valentine’s day in 2078. She was an unexpected, but much loved child. Whilst Grace resembled her mother, she was just like her older brother the spitting image of their father. Blonde, cute and bubbly Hattie was a loveable and curious child. She was often found toddling after her older siblings, wanting to hang around them even if they didn’t want to hang out with them.
Hattie has 3 biological siblings, but in reality she had many more “siblings.” The Diggory family were close friends of the Paton’s, and from an early age Hattie would spend time at the Diggory’s. Skyler Diggory soon turned into Hattie’s best friend, and they were practically inseparable. When Hattie wasn’t with her private tutor, or at her primary school she would be found at the Diggory’s. Their house was like her second home.
When both of her older siblings went to Hogwarts, Hattie also wanted to go. She began counting down the days until she could go. She was sad that her older sister Grace had graduated already, but she could not wait to go to Hogwarts. It was going to be a big adventure, and she got to do it around her best friend. She couldn’t wait to start attending.
She just hopes that she’ll get sorted into the same house as her best friend, so that they can continue their antics, and have lots of sleepovers.

HISTORY AND PERSONALITY Scarlett Pamela Reynolds, named after her mother's favorite literary character and her father's mother, is the first born child of Nolan and Ginger Reynolds. Nolan Reynolds was formerly the Divination Professor at Hogwarts who left his post to marry his Hogwarts sweetheart. A few years later, Scarlett was born.
From the start, Scarlett has been a firecracker who delights in driving her parents crazy. She always marches to the beat of her own drum and is extremely outgoing and energetic. Many times the new parents would lose her in the streets of Diagon Alley, where she loved to explore and play pretend in all the nooks and crannies of the wizarding marketplace. She loves talking to people, whether it's old friends or complete strangers, and has a very optimistic outlook on life. Her father instilled a very deep love of books in her from an early age and she loves to learn. She is constantly looking to try new things, but can be very impatient at times and often doesn't wait to get things done even when it may be in her best interest to do so.
Like her parents, she is a very loyal person and values her friendships - her relationships with other people are the most important things in her life. She can overlook people's faults, even if they don't deserve it, and it takes a lot to break that trust. She is very honest and values being a very hard worker, even if she does sometimes jump into things too quickly without thinking them through.
Since she was about 8 years old, Scarlett helped run her father's second hand bookstore. Often times she just ran the register or sat around reading the many books in the shop until her father sold it after her first year of Hogwarts. Out of all her siblings, Scarlett feels she is the closest to her father. Part of her outgoing personality comes from the need to stand out amongst her brothers and sisters, and remind everyone who the REAL queen bee of the family is. She will never admit it, but she definitely does things to antagonize her siblings sometimes, including locking Clay in a hamper one time to stop him from eating the last cookie, purposely teaching Zoey how to use her mum's makeup at the age of 2, and stealing Evie's glasses multiple times.
Nolan is a Seer, although as of right now, none of his children seem to have inherited the "Inner Eye". However, the Reynolds children have all inherited a strong liking for the subject and real talent for Divination - but none of them have shown any signs of being a real Seer at this point. Scarlett personally thinks some branches of Divination are bologna, but loves to read tarot cards and tea leaves.

THE HOGWARTS YEARS

FIRST YEAR Scarlett entered her first year with lots of excitement and positivity - until she got to school and realized that a HAG was teaching her favorite subject, Divination! Scarlett was distraught, as it had been the one subject she had been looking forward to the most, being a daughter of an ex-professor and Seer. Things only got worse when the hag actually tried to EAT a student during the lesson, and escaped into the woods. She had all these grand visions of how Divination, her father's subject, would be at school, and all of it came crashing down around her.
Despite having an awful start to her Divination career, she tried to look on the bright side and make friends during her first year and start out her Hogwarts year on a good foot. She was sorted into Hufflepuff, which was no surprise to her since both of her parents had been in that house. She instantly clicked with her outgoing dormmates. She also had a few interesting encounters with a china doll, but nothing ever seemed to come of that (or at least if it did, she didn't notice as she was too wrapped up in her studies) She finished on the top points earner, which was one of her goals for her first year. All in all, it had been a successful year, and she left feeling like she had done her best and was ready for the next year to be just as good.
SECOND YEAR Scarlett's second year started off better than her first, now that she was better acquainted with her roommates and her cousin Juliette was now attending school with her as well. Once again she finished on the top of the points board, but the final half of her year was spent focusing on more outside issues. Her father announced that he was running for Minister for Magic, and she and her cousin Juliette spent their free time making pins and fliers to help him in his campaign.
Scarlett was also distracted a bit this year by the fact that her father announced he was selling his business so they could move to a suburb and buy a large house with a white picket fence - something Scarlett was super excited about because it meant she got her own room for the first time in her life, which she promptly painted a bright shade of pink.
THIRD YEAR Over the summer, Scarlett's father lost the race for Minister, which was upsetting, and it seemed as though Scarlett inherited her father's anxiety. She started to worry more and more about her public image and popularity, not focusing on her studies and instead falling into a slump. She also started to worry about her brother attending Hogwarts the following year, worrying how that would affect her popularity. She ended up doing less than stellar in her classes, and promptly decided she needed to start seeing a counselor over the summer to work out her anxiety issues.
It worked, and she was very excited and eager to return to school - until she got hit with a nasty bout of bronchitis that turned in to pneumonia. Scarlett missed over half of her fourth year.
FOURTH YEAR The one good thing about getting sick with pneumonia was meeting Maurice Gladin - better known as Jimmy. Scarlett met the Beauxbaton's boy while he was interning at St. Mungos during her stay, and they two stayed in touch throughout the year. They began officially seeing each other over the Christmas holiday, although Scarlett assumed this meant they were exclusive and told all her friends about her new "boyfriend".
When she finally returned to school in March, she buried her head in her books and was able to make up her work before school let out for the summer. She made sure to stay FAR away from the portal and the monster, thank you very much, and made sure her younger brother Clay, who was now attending Hogwarts, did the same. While she was originally upset about Clay starting school with her, she ended up loving having him in her house. She could see him as much as she wanted but still escape to her dorm if he was being annoying, and he ended up being a great study partner!
Things turned sour almost immediately after returning home for the summer, though, when Jimmy came to visit the Reynolds family. Initially excited for a summer with her beau, he made it quite clear that he was not interested in dating JUST Scarlett, and she promptly broke things off, heartbroken.

Not quite quiet, but not quite social either, Posey likes observing people and keeping those she considers friends close, no matter how few of those there are. She’s fiercely protective of those she does care about, going so far as to write people off just because her friends don’t like them. When offered friendship, she can be skeptical, as she doesn’t believe that anything is that easy; everything has to be worked for. She’s also a firm believer in the idea that being friends with someone isn’t about how long you’ve been friends with them, but rather who was there when it counted. Not that she’s really had many to test this on. Once you’ve passed the friendship test you’ll be greeted with a high energy, playful goof of a girl. She can be seen leaping onto people’s backs (and fronts), climbing things she probably shouldn’t, and annoying you until you pay her some proper attention. Eleanor and Jessie Higgins met through mutual friends when they were nearly twenty years old. It was soon after that the two were engaged, married, and on their way to giving birth to their first child, Jesse. Overjoyed and smitten with their little boy, the couple began trying again for another child. A little over two years later, Posey was born. Growing up, Posey developed a very close bond with her shy brother, but somehow always felt different from the rest of her family. The only blonde in a family of four, Posey felt as though something were off but… never fully made any sort of real connection behind it. Her papa always told her it was because she was so special and so full of warmth, it turned her hair yellow like a sunflower. Growing up, Posey always had high energy for her family, jumping around like a little bean, climbing on people and things, she could hardly sit still.
As she grew, she noticed the way people treated her brother. They teased him and poked fun of him and pushed him around and Posey would have none of it. She pushed the older kids and kicked them in the shin quickly being labeled as a problem child by other parents and even her own mother. However, she never did it to anyone who wasn’t mean to her brother or any other kid, it was just that the parents never seemed to catch anyone else do anything wrong, so she was always stuck with the blame. She never minded though. As long as she knew what she was doing and her brother was okay, she couldn’t be bothered by what everyone else thought. With the exception of her mother.
Around the age of four, Posey was playing with her brother and a young girl and her friends approached the two of them. The young girl with poked fun at her brother while the other girls laughed. Posey put her arm around Jesse and told him to ignore the girls but they persisted. An anger rose in Posey that she had never quite felt before. The other girl was laughing one minute and the next moment, her ears stretched out in a strange way and all that came out of her mouth were loud moos.

SPOILER!!: Pre-Hogwarts Life
Isa was born in California near San Francisco, but she doesn't remember living in California because her family moved to England when she was 2.
Growing up in a house that was filled with all sorts of plants and animals, both magical and mundane, Isa quickly developed an interest in all things living. She loved helping mum tend to the garden and take care of all the animals, and still does.
As a young witch who had yet to attend Hogwarts, Isa struggled to control her magic and things sometimes exploded or moved when she got angry. Discipline and balance lessons at St. Woboldo's helped, but sometimes she still had trouble controlling her magical abilities. Early on in life she could sometimes make plants magically grow and displayed other magical abilities such as levitating toys and objects in high places. On a few occasions she accidentally destroyed muggle electrical appliances with magic. Most of her time at home is spent with her mother working in the garden tending to the plants or caring for the many family pets. At the age of 9 Isa got her first rabbit of her own.

SPOILER!!: Second Year
The year started off with Isa meeting her new adorable favorite firstie friends on the train. Unfortunately, one of her firsties Derf is scared of plants and this caused a problem. At the feast Isa met lots of new Hufflepuffs, most notably Kane Westwood. Throughout the year strange things kept happening at Hogwarts, including students disappearing. New rules and a curfew were put in place for the safety of students. A creature came through the portal and took Simon and Abey.

Met some new friends over the summer. Got permission to bring her rabbits to Hogwarts with her and keep them in the barn. Green Thumb and Renowned Runologist!

SPOILER!!: All About Simon
Born in 2080 of August the 10th, Simon Mordecai started his life as a loved and cared for infant. Then in the Spring of 2083 tragedy struck. His Parents both passed away after a fatal car accident. With no other living relatives Simon was taken to the Balderson’s Orphanage for Boys. He lived at the Orphanage for 2 years. Due to poor funding the Balderson Orphanage had to close. Simon was moved to an Orphanage run by the Sisters of Hope Agency. During his time at this Orphanage Simon began making friends with the other Orphans, though his friendships would not last long as just as soon as he became friendly with some they would be adopted. Soon though it would be his turn. In 2087 a Family would adopt him.
He lived with the Family for less than even year. For as soon as he was adopted he was mistreated and malnourished. The Family was arrested and Simon was taken back by the Adoption Agency where he would go back to living at the Orphanage for a year.
This mistreatment had a lasting effect on Simon. His normally friendly attitude became more reserved and he would become less trusting. It wasn’t until the Summer of 2089 that Simon would be taken in once more by a Man known as Warfield Anthony Rockefeller.
This was a big surprise to many, even to Simon. He had always listened to Warfield’s Radio Show on WNN “The Rock Talks” staying up late to never miss an interview the Wealthy Entertainer, and Wigtown Wanderers Owner would give to many famous Witches and Wizards.
Since his adoption by the Successful Rockefeller, Simon’s recently obtained reserved attitude would slowly begin to fade. He would view the man as a very strange individual with his over the top attitude and quirky nature. But he would be grateful to him and has taken to learning all he can to becoming the Heir to Warfield’s fortune.
Due to a horrifying event that occurred at the end of Simon's first year at Hogwarts that almost resulted in his and his friend's, Abey Botros' death. If it were for the timely rescue by the Headmistress, the Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor and a slew of brave students Simon would have surely perished then. Since then he suffers horrible Nightmares on occasion, and if anything might remind him of that horrible day it triggers him into an almost unresponsive state.
Just before Simon would begin his Second Term; with great approval from Warfield and his help. Simon set up a Charity Foundation for Wizarding Children who suffer from PTSD caused by Magical Means. In hopes that these funds would help any kid like himself could make progress in their struggle with the illness. Warfield called the Charity The FAYMPTS (Fight Against Youth's Magical Post-Traumatic Stress) Foundation.
