The broomshed is a small building located just by the entrance to the Quidditch Pitch. This is where all the school-owned brooms that are used in lessons are stored. Second years and above may store their brooms in this shed after permission from the flying instructor. Quaffles, bludgers and all things Quidditch can also be found in here, locked away to prevent usage by anyone without permission from Mr. Baldvinsson.
As you approach the shed, you notice a prominent sign hanging on the door:

Her search for secret passages inside the castle wasn't going anywhere first, and Emmeline was kinda bored. She reallllly didn't feel like doing any homework, Sirius and Sapphire and loads of other baby creatures went to bed early, and she didn't feel like going up to the common room. So, the second year was here to get some supplies out to go flying. Flying lessons didn't happen nearly often enough for her taste, AND she wanted to practice her Chaser non-existent super good skills. Just in case her friends ever wanted to play Quidditch with her, mhm.
It was after dinner and kind of getting dark outside fast, just like it always did in October. Emmeline crept closer to the broomshed, shooting nervous looks over her shoulder every few seconds. Hopefully Professor B. was still at dinner or something. The Gryffindor winced as she swung the broomshed door open and scrambled inside. She didn't have a broomstick of her own yet, so she started scanning the brooms stored inside... Which one should she choose?!

It had been a while since Juni had been on broom. The last time that she could even remember being on one was a few summers ago, after her brother Ross's match. And that was two summers ago. Since flying was really only required for first years, she had taken the lesson in a few terms.
The Ravenclaw headed down the broom shed after her afternoon walk, since she hadn't taken the flying lessons in a while she didn't bring her broom from home anymore. She was going to have to bring hers maybe when she goes home for Christmas break. Pushing the door open and heading on in.
"What are you doing in here?"A smile formed on her face seeing a familiar face, also looking at the selection of brooms.
Hmmm...was a Cleansweep fast? Emmeline was so busy looking at all the different brooms in the shed, and trying to figure out which ones were the racing brooms, when she heard a voice behind her! The second year spun around, automatically saying, "Errr nothing, I was just-..." Oh, it was only another student. She let out a small sigh of relief; since she didn't wear a watch, she had NO idea what time it was and it could easily be curfew time any second for all she knew. But she supposed it probably wasn't since the girl in front of her was wearing Ravenclaw robes, and she doubted a Ravenclaw would be breaking the rules. Well...unless Jessa's experiments counted as breaking the rules...
Emmeline shook her head a little bit to clear it and smiled at the older girl before answering her properly: "Hiiii! I was just, uhhh, looking for a school broom I could fly on. A fast one," she added at the last second. She wondered if this girl knew anything about brooms?? But then, she supposed that Ravenclaws knew everything, so this one probably knew LOADS about brooms. "D'you know which one is fast?", she asked, waving her arm around to include alllll the brooms lined up in the shed.

Wait? Did she really sound all professor like just then? That was kind of cool. KIND OF. Merlin she loved her father but she was really her fathers daughter more than she cared or wanted to admit. Juni, laughed. "You thought I was a professor didn't you?" Nodding her head proudly. Like she would ever be out late or break rules. Only for the library, food, or Slate. Errr... She shook off that last option. Though she would.
"Well my brother plays quidditch..." And to be honest they haven't talked about quidditch in a long time. She couldn't even remember the last time they played together. Much less what broom he was riding these days. "Anything but a..." She ran her hands along the handles and picked a random one. Well not so random one. Was this one really even riding broom or a broom that elves used. Someone had to have mixed this one up. "This one. This one is the fastest in all of the broom shed." And if it wasn't well the younger girl was a Gryffindor. She would survive.
