Simply Stylish Salon sits directly across the street from Honeydukes, bright and shining with a variety of different colours. The funky hair salon looks more to be built out of plastic than the usual wood and stone one would see down the street. Decked out with neon greens, blues, and oranges on the outside with a handful of fun decoration shapes such as stripes, triangles, and stars, this shop is anything but ordinary!
On the inside, you are immediately hit with wizard rock music playing through the shop as the yellows, reds, and orange colours and new assortment of flowing shapes, most notable of them all being the 'swirl', take your attention. A plush waiting area holds comfortable couches and a clear glass table that sits upon a fluffy rug that feels more like a cloud than anything. Hair styling magazines lay on the tables as oddly shaped shelves of products the store sells line the walls.

When one was feeling stressed or sad, there was nothing better than having someone take care of your hair. As Vivian had so graciously been helping her with for the past few weeks. And Felicity offered to go with her for a salon visit, which was nice, although Sky did feel slightly bad knowing that she was missing out spending hogsmeade time with Flynn.
“Thank you for coming with me,” Sky smiled at the roommate. Because she really did appreciate it; at least with Felicity here she wouldn’t do something she’d regret like shave her head.
Glancing at her tips, she frowned, “what do you think of blue? Or maybe green. Slytherin green?”

After all it had been Felicity's own suggestion, but she thought that her friend needed a bit of a pick me up after the last few stressful weeks, and everyone knew that a bit of pampering was always good. It also made a welcome break from the revision they'd all been doing, and Felicity was perfectly happy to be taking time off from that.
She couldn't help but giggle a little. "There might be such thing as too much house pride." Although coloured tips would look really cool in Skylar's hair. Absently, Felicity looked at some pictures on the walls, wondering what she should do to her own: Something that would look pretty for when she saw Flynn later that afternoon, maybe.
Except, when did she ever do anything because of a boy?! She shook that thought out of her head.

She giggled some at Sky's next statement. "I think he'd love that," she agreed with a nod, turning to look at the colours herself. "I think I want to go darker," she mused absently, looking over the darker blonde and light brown colours. Would that be too much of a change? Maybe a semi-permanent option would be best, and she could dye it permanently if she did love it?

Skylar nodded at the smile appreciatively. Yes, they did deserve a break; it was only barely halfway through the term and yet it'd somehow felt like it had been much longer given how much had happened within their first three months of fifth year.
"Blue tips it is." She glanced at her roommate when she suggested going darker for herself. "Well, brunettes do have more fun," Actually she had no idea, but she was a brunette and liked to think that? But then again, didn't blonds say they had more fun? And redheads had their own bias saying? So clearly everyone was awesome, or at least thought they were.
