A promise was meant to be kept at all times unless one was absolutely unable to do so. The promise Camilla had made to her cousin Kaysha was a very simple one this time. One the brunette have every intention on keeping.

So at her earliest convenience, Cami, made her way all the way down from the sixth floor where the Transfiguration rooms were located to the first floor. Her feet lead her down the corridors towards what Kay had told her was the 'Fun Room'. What this meant she wasn't sure as the other women hadn't given her details. All she had been told was to meet the other there at the given time of one in the afternoon after lunch on Sunday and to not bring along Bonsai. That in itself seemed odd but she had agreed and here she was.

Opening the door Cami entered this room her cousin had set up and looked around in surprise. All the muggle games, computers and televisions were very unexpected. Given this was Kaysha's creation she really should've known the younger women had always took a large liken to all muggle things.

Waiting for Kay to arrive, Cami took it upon herself to wander around the room checking out what each thing was. Some of the games reminded her of when she was younger. Why hadn't Hogwarts had this place when she was here?

They cousins had set up a time when they weren't busy so that they could catch up. After Kay had moved back to the Wizarding world, she had been out of contact almost with everyone, even Cami. Even the summer holidays had not been enough for her to catch up with them. This was why she was so pleased when Cami had been hired on staff. This meant she had someone who was close to her for company.

Even if Cami relentlessly continued to tease her.

"Cami?'' Kay peeked in to the Fun room. Yes! Her cousin was there already. "Hey, I see you found the place.'' Obviously but that was just a conversation starter. "All settled into Hogwarts again? Not homesick, are you?'' She hadn't experienced being homesick when she came here as a staff even though she had missed her father a lot.

Professor steward had told her about this room last term, feeling like she should have gone to check it out sooner, like sometime after she had found out about it. Early bird got the worm, she wasn't much of a early bird.

She didn't know exactly what she wanted to do, in here. There were computers, arcade games and video games.She wanted to do it all. She seen the ipods and headed over there first. Picking up the ipod labeled 'pop" she put the earbuds in her ears, and pressed play.

Oh she loved this song, before she knew it she was boogieing around the room, in between the computers. No one else was in there so she was going to dance like no one was watching.

Two someones, technically, because Derf was currently holding Scamander in the palm of his hand while giving him a tour of the castle. There were a LOT of places that mum had not told him about...and Derf was a tiny bit ashamed that he was lost.

Not that he was going to entirely admit it aloud. Nope.

Thus he was watching Katerina Delgado dance around the room like that had been his intention all along. Only not in a creepy stalker sort of way. He was just about to say hi when his bright blue eyes took notice of the earbuds in. Good thing he knew how to work his way around those!

"YOU DANCE LOADS-S-S MUCH BETTER THAN A TROLL TRAINED BY BARNABAS-S-S THE BARMY!"

Compliment completely nailed. He even grinned down at Scamander proudly.

Maybe an older version of himself would use a better line. Something involving Veela most likely.

Kaysha might think their was more to the teasing but really it was because Cami was most comfortable with her. If anyone knew her better then she knew herself it was her dear younger cousin and she was more then glad that she had accepted this chance to come and teach here. Being close to family was always nice.

I felt that way a few terms ago.’’ Plus she had reconnected with so many of her wizarding friends which was a big deal for her.

“So what do you think of the room?” Kay gestured at everything around them. “It took some doing to get funds for all the technology but it think that was worth it.’’ She thought that the students enjoyed it in here where they could spend their free time. “Want to watch something? I’ve got a great deal of DVDs you can choose from.’’

Settling in hadn't been all to difficult for Cami seeing as she used to travel all the time and was always moving about. This was pretty much like that only way more people were involved and she wouldn't be leaving for at least one complete term. "Oh? That's so sweet of him, always worried about how I am. How is he doing, still well?" She would have to owl her uncle very soon and see for herself, send him a little care package as well. "I am. It's somewhat surreal being back here again. Once I had left this place I never thought I would return." She was here though and she wouldn't change that decision at all.

Camilla took another short walk around the room before coming to stop beside Kay once more. "It's very much you. You spent a great deal of time getting it just right, didn't you?" she asked with a small laugh. "I bet the students took to the room really well? Especially those that already knew muggle technology?" A room like this must have helped them feel at least a little bit like they were home. Movies? Of course she would watch a movie! "Anything non Disney to choose from?," the brunette teased lightly making her way over towards the selection of provided DVDs to see what all there was there to pick from.

There she was continuing to dance around the room, she even done a few twirls and some fancy dancing moves around and over a few of the chairs. Still oblivious to anyone else around. She thought she was still alone.

Even through she had the earbuds in she heard someone yelling, She jumped up and turned around. Oh Merlin, she wasn't alone. Derf was there too. Had he been there the whole time? Eeeek But the comment was cute.

She giggled, "Now how would you know what a troll dances like?" Surely the first year had never seen a troll, let alone a troll dancing. Though she wondered how a troll dances anyway. It wasn't until she seen him looking down that she seen what he had in his hand. "Awww Hello there little guy."

Carlton had explored the school to the best of his abilities. Which meant he had gotten lost. Repeatedly. But this room was always easy to locate. Maybe because it was on the first floor and therefore pretty close to the common room, or maybe because he could feel the presence of arcade games from miles away.

Everyone said Hogwarts felt like home. Carlton hadn't agreed until he'd found this room where technology actually worked. He took little notice to the other students in the room and marched straight up to one of the free arcade games. He dropped his bag on the floor next to it and pressed a button for the screen to light up. He grinned, wondering briefly if he could beat his high score from the day before. Only... His eyes widened. At the top of the high score table was another name above his.

He was... He was number two?!

"That isn't fair!" He exclaimed, jabbing repeatedly with his finger against the screen. "I worked for hours to get number one." Someone else had probably worked just as hard but that was besides the point.

He repositioned himself and pressed 'start'. He knew what he'd be doing for the rest of the afternoon.

"The troll tapes-stry!" he chirped. Which...he assumed was accurate. He'd never seen a troll in person. Not yet at least. "What were you listening to?" Although the chance of him actually knowing the song was slim to none. "Fis is Scamander, my newt!" he said proudly, lifting his hand up a little so she could get a better look at the warty newt.

He's as excited for you to be teaching as I am. By the way, we should plan a joint lesson sometime.'' She wasn't exactly sure what that lesson would entail but was sure they coud come up with something.

The woman bobbed her head. "Yes, it took a while to arrange everything but I'm so glad I was able to get it done.'' She laughed softly. "You bet they did! Quite a few of them are constantly in here playing games. You should see the records some have set.'' Kay was seriously impressed and proud of them.

She laughed again. "Of course! What would you like to watch? Something girly?'' It was Kay's turn to tease, alright?

Camilla didn't mean to laugh at this but she did. It took her just a moment to regain her composure so she could answer. "I don't tease. I'm just simply helping you become stronger." Ha! It was teasing and they both knew it. Only now it wasn't as often as it was when they were children. And at least the teasing was harmless, yes? "That's good we should get together with him soon. Both our parents really, possibly over the holidays?" Like they had when they were children. A family holiday with their parents sounded nice. Oh, a joint lesson? This caught Cami's attention and she nodded her agreement. "That sounds like a fun idea." Something they could certainly look into.

"Time well spent then," Cami smiled. The children enjoyed it and it was a nice outlet for them all, staff including then she saw nothing at all wrong with it. Not unless it was causing problems or anything and it didn't seem to be. "I bet some of them are really good." Could only imagine the scores cause knows the time and dedication put into it when you're a gamer.

Something girly? Cami shot Kay a fake glare followed by a childish roll of her eyes. Hey, it was just them two in here and she could get away with it. Tease away Kaysha, she'll get you back. "Girly? Just because I finally have some fashion sense doesn't mean I've gone girly." Yes, try not to laugh now. Though she did fancy some 'girly' movies at times.

The fun room had been another place in the castle that Mason had showed no interest in before Hadley had made him curious about muggle things. In fact, he hadn't stepped a foot inside of this room in his nearly 2 years of being here.

But now he was curious what kind of games muggles liked to play so he entered the room while looking around curiously. The loud sounds, the clicks and beeps everywhere made hkm realise how much he appreciated silence and he was about to turn back around and leave when he heard someone complaining.

He didn't know why, but the Ravenclaw walked over to the young kid playing some kind of game and he watched. Just watched. Not saying a word as the kid tried to get the highscore.

The whole button smashing thing looked ridiculous to him and the kid seemed to get annoyed with it even. Was this how these gamed were played? Angrily smashing buttons?

Strange yet fascinating things these machines were.

How does that sound?” And as for that lesson, Kay was quite ready to plan it!

But it would have to wait. It was movie time!

Kay was quite pleased to see how the table had turned. She laughed softly at Cami’s response. “You got your fashion sense from me. I know you’re still tom boyish though.’’ Really, of the two, Cami was the one who did the more boyish stuff. She moved towards the enormous stash of DVDs. “Have your pick, cousin.’’

A little melody told Carlton that once again, he hadn't managed to beat the score he wanted. Pouting he looked at his name right next to the number 2 on the screen.

Suddenly he noticed someone standing next to him and he looked up at the older student.

Was... Was he the one responsible for beating his high score?!

Carlton eyed him for a second before sighing in defeat. "OK, you're tall and better at me at this game." He muttered, squinting his eyes. "How did you do it? How did you beat my score?"

No fair using magic Mr. Tall and Number One!

"It's not my fault," Cami replied laughing softly. Kay just made it so easy sometimes that she didn't even think about it. Teasing her younger cousin just came naturally to her after all these years. Chances were she wouldn't be able to stop even if she tried to. Old habits really were hard to break. "I've noticed this. Even teasing me back now." Proud. It was more fun when it wasn't one sided.

Going home for the holidays wasn't fully decided upon but it did sound nice to her. "As of right now I might be." She hadn't fully decided just yet. The next few months around here would let her know if she needed to stay around for the the castle or not.

Camilla paused her shuffling through the DVDs to eye Kay a second. The look she gave her was contemplative at best. "Is that where I get it from now? Oh, well it's not so bad however dresses and heels aren't always the best if you're hiking through trails." She didn't mind dressing more nicely now that she wasn't a young child anymore, however she still did enjoy her jeans and shirts at times.

A little more browsing of the movies and the brunette selected one she hadn't seen in many years. With a small smile she went a head to put it on wondering if Kay would remember it or not.

He did not know much about these games but he wasn't clueless enough to know that when the music played again and the screen said that the kid had been placed second yet again.

He simply continued to watch, not saying a word even when the kid turned towards him with...was that a accusing look? Whatever had he done now? He wasn't going to punch him in the face like Dora had done, right? But when he heard a deep sigh, Mason raised his eyebrows.

"Believe me kid" he said as he crossed his arms. "I don't even know how these things work" so nope, it wasn't him who had beaten his highscore. "But if i had, i probably wouldn't have told you" he smiled. "What are you even playing?" he asked, pointing towards the screen of the machine.

Carlton eyed him for a second and decided to believe him. For once, in this room Carlton knew what he was doing. Anywhere else in the castle? Not a clue.

He looked from the older kid and then back to the screen. "This? He said, confused. He always thought he was the only one lost but of course, if Carlton didn't know anything about the magic world (he'd even heard he was going to learn to fly on a broom?! In the air?!) then maybe magic kids didn't know anything about the Muggle world?

He grinned. "It's Pac man, dude. This is a classic." He shrugged and moved out of the way. "Try it! It's fun." So fun. And he might have a hidden talent, if so then maybe they could use Carlton's name on the high score... Yes. That would be good.

I went home both times since I was here, if you remember.’’ And Kay was sure Cami would. They had spent some family time together.

“That sounds absoloutely perfect, Cami! I have something to look forward to this summer.’’ Couldn’t summer be now, actually? Kay took the DVD. “Titanic!’’ She loved this movie ever since she was a teen and it happened to be one of her favourites. “I’ll get it set up right now.’’ She did just this, then indicated to one of the comfortable couches in front of the TV. “Ready?’’ When Cami was, Kay hit play.

She hadn’t watched this in a long time!

Camilla knew that once Kay set her mind to something she would be able to do it. Would she be able to keep herself from being teased, well that still remained to be unseen. "Troubling you? Am I really that bad?," she asked smiling just as sweetly. "I remember. If it's not a problem then I'll likely go home as well." Spending time with her family was always nice, especially around the holidays.

Soon she was laughing softly again. “You’re not bad one bit.’’ As for going home, she was rather happy to hear Cami would be too. This was going to be one of the best Christmases ever!

The woman hugged the other. “You did remember. Look at you being all nice to me.’’ See? Kay could tease a lot too! She settled happily in her seat. Let the movie begin! Luckily she had some tissue in her pocket. This movie always made her cry.

Pac Man. If the name was supposed to ring a bell, it didn't and if he had to believe this kid it was a classic. Were muggles still playing this game? must be because how else did this kid knew about it right?

"It's Mason, not dude" he said before uncrossing his arms and took a step closer towards the device and looked at all the buttons and whatnot. He had been observing the kid earlier so he pressed the start button with a smug smile on his face. As if he had just found out something undiscoverd.

The game started to play and Mason, having never in his life played these kind of games before was looking at the little ghost like figures, thinking the point of the game was to catch the big yellow thing with his armies. When the little ghost armies went in different directions, the super smart Ravenclaw lost track of what to do and eventually the

GAME OVER

sign appeared on the screen.

....."Well, that wasn't so bad"

More like disastrous.
