Ravenclaw Study Tables

It wouldn't be a common room without an area to study in and so, an area next to the common room library has been sectioned off wherein you can do just that. There's a calming nature to this area, possibly in place to help with the studying aspect more than anything else. It's also interesting to note that, while sounds can still be heard here, it also seems to be the quietest part of the common room.

There are more walnut tables dotted here than anywhere else in the common room, some sitting by themselves with enough room for one or two and others bumped together to form tables for group studying. Oil lamps sit on each of the tables, illuminating them no matter what hour of the day. Matching chairs with midnight blue coverings are dotted in the same manner as the tables: some in single forms and others around larger tables to seat more people.

Okay, Hads...time to finally get this essay done, so you can turn it in and start studying for end of the term exams. She set a stack of books down on one of the study tables and began arranging them around her. Asher, her ever present companion, was not with her this time. He was asleep on her bed. She'd thrown a blanket over him least anyone walk in and think he'd died. Ferrets, even young ferrets like Asher once again was, tended to look dead when they slept.

Hads set her bag down and sat down. She pulled out her notebook of animagus notes, and the parchments she'd been writing her essay on, dipped her quill in glittery purple ink, and sighed. By the time she'd figured out the next bit to write in the essay, she had to re-dip her quill in the ink.

Ordinarily, essays weren't that huge of an issue for Hads. She just wrote them, and turned them in. But they were never perfect, either. And this essay, she wanted to be perfect.
