With all of the terrifying monster events, Isa hadn’t been feeling quite as cheerful as she usually was. However, everyone was safe now and none of the students had died, so everything would be alright. Isa’s soft pink lips curled back into a smile, revealing her gleaming white teeth. She was ready to see all of her friends at the feast. Everything was packed, her pet cages were cleaned out for the journey home, and the plants that would be coming home with her had been carefully prepared for transport. Isa was going to miss her friends, but she was especially glad to be going home to Mum and Dad. Besides, she could always meet up with some of her friends over the summer. It wasn’t as if she would be completely isolated from everyone she knew.

Isa sat down right in the middle of the long table, eagerly waiting for the rest of her Hufflepuff family to show up. She wanted to see everyone, and there were a few people in particular who she wanted to speak to. Hopefully she would be able to see some people over the summer. Maybe Professor Myers would host another one of those fun Hufflepuff meet up things. Isa always loved being with her Hufflepuff family.

Etta walked into the great hall, feeling rather glad that term was over. After all the craziness that had happened.. she was looking forward to some family time. And she was probably going to start with some reading too, since she had to get ready for OWLs next year. The soon-to-be fifth year slowly wandered over to her house-table.. suddenly realising that she was quite early. Oh. Where was everyone?

"Hi, Isa." She greeted the younger girl as she sat down, a cheerful smile on her face.

It was finally the end of term feast. That was the best. They were finally going to go home. It had been a horrible term, and she just wanted to be at home, with her Mom and Dad, where she could be safe. Sure the monster was gone now, but it still played on her thoughts. She just wanted to be home now, and be able to get over what had happened.

She smiled to herself as she headed towards the hufflepuff table. She was excited to have a nice last feast for her third year. She beamed, coming down to where a few of her house mates were sat. "Hey guys!" She blonde beamed, as she sat down.

Now. Where was the food?

Kane felt like his legs were going to fall off, having still not really recovered from all that nonsense with the monster. True, it had been a few weeks ago - but he'd been stressed with exams RIGHT after the fact (seriously? They still held EXAMS after all that? COME ON PEOPLE) so he never really had time to just RELAX.

Ah well, that was all going to change now. Bring on California, summer, the sun, his family - it was going to be GREAT!

There were already a few people at the Hufflepuff table, so plopped down next to Isa, who had thankfully been smart enough to NOT go chasing the monster that night, and smiled.

"Well this was a fun year, eh?" he chuckled. Despite the fact that people could have died...this year TOTALLY kicked last year's butt. Sorry Ilvermorny. You lose.

Over the last few weeks, Henry was gradually trying to work himself up to sitting at the Hufflepuff table again for meals. He hadn't been able to since he was sucked up into the portal during a certain breakfast, sitting at that very table. It was just.. that memory, that anxious feeling.. he just hadn't been able to, instead taking meals up to his dorm or outside or somewhere else in the castle. But since the portal was gone now, he wanted to try again. He wanted to be able to sit with his friends and not feel paranoid and anxious and afraid.

But he had faced his fears recently and knew that he'd be able to do this too. And he had managed a few dinners here and there, eventually he figured he could do all three meals. Now that it was the end of term feast, he was glad some of that had been behind him so he could enjoy this with his friends and the rest of his house.

There was still a bit of that funny feeling in his chest as he crossed the threshold of the Great Hall and headed for the Hufflepuff table, but he pushed that down as he drew closer, intent on having a good time tonight before he left for home. He really couldn't wait for summer. This term had left him emotionally and physically drained. At least his OWLs were done, but he was a little worried how he had fared considering everything that happened and not having as much focus for studying, at least the theoreticals. He was pretty sure he aced most of the practicals he took.

As he reached his house table, Henry first looked towards the Gryffindor table, looking for his girlfriend. Then, as he didn't see her yet, he looked down the Hufflepuff table for any of his friends, soon sliding into the seat next to Etta. "Hi, Etta... Hattie.." He managed a friendly smile for both of them, though it was not nearly as bright as Hattie's. He also gave an acknowledging nod towards the second years at the table too, not knowing them as well, but still wanting to be friendly.

Juno took a deep breath, and exhaled. It had been such a long year, and everyone was ready to go home. Though Juno was sad to leave, because next term would be far different for her.

Leon wouldn't be here.

She sighed, and headed for the Puff table, making sure that her badge was securely in place. Next term would be difficult, but she knew that they would make it through. Besides, she would see him in France in two weeks. "Two weeks." She whispered to herself. She would make it. Besides she planned on giving Leon her home phone number as well as her cell phone number so they could talk like muggles. She grinned at the thought.

She smiled and waved at all of her Puffs, before finding an empty seat. This was going to be an interesting evening.

As the fourth year headed to the great hall she was trying to decide if she was going to go to her table or the Slytherin table first. Her blue eyes darted over to the snake table, deciding against it. She could stop by their after she ate. She moved over to her houses table. It was finally the end of term feast, which meant that tomorrow they would be on the train heading back to London.

It had been one heck of her, probably her worst yet. Between the monster, and her boy drama and the poltergeist, Storm almost killing her. If if hadn't been for the Kenning bros, Brent she would have. Katerina was beyond ready to go home and enjoy her summer, before her dreaded OWLs year next term.

She smiled at her housemates, "Hi, Isa, Etta. Ready for summer?" Seeing Hattie she sat down next to her, maybe they could go over to the Slytherin table together later. "Hey, Hattie." He hadn't seen Kane, sitting farther down the table. Had it really been the start of term feast that she had met him, and Brent. Sometimes it felt like time went by fast, sometimes it felt like the opposite.

"Good to see you survived it, Kane. Are you sure you don't want to go running back to Ilvermorny?" She asked him with a chuckle, he better not she would have to spend more time with him, and Brent... hehe. next term. And maybe over the summer, she did have a birthday party to have this summer and she would be inviting pretty much everyone to that.

She also seen Henry, he got a wave. "Are you ready for Quidditch?" She had been to some of his matches the past few summers. Though she wasn't sure if her summer plans would allow her a chance to go this summer.

Was Juno okay? She seemed to be lost in her thoughts or something, but Kat waved and smiled at her never the less. "Hi Juno." Kat's attention soon went to the other tables, looking for her people, she needed to know where the were so she knew which way to pounce them.

Ahhh there she was! Leon had been looking for his girlfriend ever since the feast had started, his grey eyes were constantly looking towards the door as he sat at the Ravenclaw table and finally Juno walked in..

And right past him?

Leon instantly rose from the Ravvie table where he had been stationed next to his sister, he gave Az a kiss on her head before motioning over at Juno.. He knew she would understand, besides her own boyfriend was out there somewhere!

Leon's slowly made his way over to the Hufflepuff table and slid into the seat next to Juno..

"Hey.." He whispered softly as he put his hand in hers. He too was feeling a wave of sadness as he looked at her and then around the room.. He wouldn't be here next year and she would be.. It hurt his heart.. but what could he do?

He the turned and waved to the other Hufflepuffs around.. Kane and Henry both got manly head nods.. The girls down at the end (Isa, Hattie and Etta ) all got smiles.. Right before his eyes landed on Katerina The blonde who had caused his sister to spend nights crying in his arms merely got a curt nod.. Not cool.. Not. Cool.

He turned back to Juno and squeezed her hand.. "It'll be okay Quicksilver.. I promise.. "

Etta absently-mindedly turned to look towards the staff dias, deep in thought. She still hadn't managed to get the portal/monster experience completely out of her mind, even if it had been a while now. What scared her the most was -- What if she hadn't escaped? Or.. what if there had been no escape? What if she had gotten herself hurt or worse.. eaten? Her face paled just as more classmates began to arrive. She plastered a smile on her face, deciding to postpone the scary thoughts for later. Now wasn't the time.

Kane, Juno and Hattie got a small smile each.. although Hattie seemed a bit too cheerful for some reason. But, hey. Etta's smile widened a little when Henry joined her at the table. "Hi!" Her eyes searched his face for a few seconds, wondering if he felt better now.. He looked okay, at least. Hm.. and that made her happy. "How did your OWLs go? Please, please tell me they aren't that difficult." Etta looked at him, the anxiety clearly visible on her face.

OHAI Kat. Etta turned to grin at the blonde. Ready for summer? Etta didn't have exciting summer plans, to be honest. She was just going to eat, sleep and spend time with the family. Maybe they'd travel too.. but that hadn't been decided yet. "I guess so. What about you?" Her eyes shifted to the older boy ( Leon, right? ) who was sitting next to Juno. Wait. Were they dating? How had she not noticed? Also... UHM.. did he just smile at her? Her cheeks turning mildly pink, she casually tucking a few strands of stray hair behind her ears. Ahem.

Harriet as pretty aware that she probably seemed pretty cheerful. But she was just happy to be going home. If she'd gotten her way, she would have gone home a few weeks ago, but her mother had been determined that she would stay at school. Hattie just wanted to go home now, and forget everything that had happened at the school. She was excited for art camp, and to just have a great summer.

She smiled as Henry came down. "Hey Henry" She hadn't really spoken to him too much this term, which was kind of sad. But she was glad that he hadn't been eaten. That would have been sad. "Looking forward to Summer?" She asked, with a smile. She was sure he was. She was sure they were all looking forward to the summer. It would be nice to be away from the school for a while.

"Hey Kat!" The blonde beamed as her best friend came to sit down next to her. She gave her a quick hug before sitting back normally. "How are you? Looking forward to going home?" Because Hattie sure was. She couldn't wait to see her daddy. He had better be waiting for her at Kings Cross... or she would not be happy.

But right now she wanted food. The blonde turned towards the staff dias, trying to see if she was going to do the speech yet. "When is she gonna do the speech? I Want food"

Juno smiled, "Hi Kat." She didn't know the younger girl very well, but she did know what had transpired between her and Azura. It wasn't cool, but it also wasn't her place to judge either. She was kinda glad the younger girl had turned away heading to other tables.


Juno heard him coming before she saw him, or felt his hand hold hers. "Hey." She said with a small smile, and a hand squeeze. She could see he was pretty sad today too. Next year would never be the same without him. She almost wanted to leave this place behind and go with him, but she couldn't leave Esme, and she needed the NEWTs in order to get into the YATI program.

She knew he understood, because they had the same career goals. It just...it was really breaking her heart to think that he wouldn't be walking down these halls with her next year. Why couldn't they have met last year? Why couldn't he have been a year younger or her a year older?

Juno gave him a sad smile. "I know, Cap...It's just going to be so hard without you." Her eyes burned a little as she held back tears. This guy had brought out her emotional side, which was an incredible feat. Juno never cried. Even when she was little and skinned her knees after falling off of a broom for the first time. She always picked herself back up...but she didn't know how to pick herself back up from this.

Gliding into the Great Hall was a jolly, much relieved Fat Friar. It was as if a weight had been lifted off his chest! He felt freer...cleaner...like he could breathe. Not that he could, but metaphorically speaking, yes.

"Well good evening, Hufflepuff!" Alfred waved and stopped next to Henry. "Is everyone feeling all right? Exams went well for everyone I hope!" and he chuckled as if the term hadn't been traumatic at all.

He was happy it was over!

Looking down into Juno's bright blue eyes had Leon melting inside, especially at the hint of moisture in them. Juno didn't cry, and for her to even well up like this broke his heart.. It almost felt like they were breaking up! Though they weren't.. "Juno.. " Leon said softly as he gently reached up and touched just below her eye ever so softly.. touching a small drop that was trying to leave her eyes..

"I know it will be hard. " He said in a soft voice.. "I'm not looking forward to not being here next year with you. " He squeezed her hand as his finger dropped from her face.

"But Juno.. I love you. And I promise.. we will do everything in our power to make it through the next year. You'll never be alone.. and then when the time comes you can join me with the YATI's okay?"" He said.. his grey eyes were burning as well.. This night was so emotional..

A tear had apparently escaped, because he was brushing it away before she had even realized it let itself loose. Juno hated to cry. She felt like it showed weakness...in this case it really did. He was her kryptonite, but she wouldn't have it any other way.

She nodded in agreement with his words, and gave his hand a squeeze back, she couldn't speak for fear of crying. She knew this was just as hard for him as it was for her. She looked down at their entwined hands, rubbing the back of his with her thumb, listening to him talk sense into her. And then he said it....

She abruptly looked up at him after he said it, with large round eyes. She didn't really hear what he said after that. She just heard him say those words in her brain over and over again. She took a deep ragged breath, "You....you love me?" She looked at him as seriously as she possibly could, trying to hid the smile that was creeping to her face.

He loved her?

Leon knew he probably should have saved the "I love you" for a more special occasion but he just couldn't stop the words as they fell from his lips.. He wasn't sure what her reaction would be.. if she would say it back or would she just.. laugh at him?

He kept his grey eyes on her as she looked up at him with those amazing blue eyes of hers.

"Mmmm, I love you. " He said it for the second time, the words fell a bit easier from his lips but they still had the same meaning..

Almost unbidden.. he found more song lyrics come to his mind that his sister would sing to him.. they seemed perfect right now..

I told her that I loved her, was not sure if she heard, the roof was pretty windy and she didn't say a word..

Gosh dang it.. Why did these song always pop into his head at the most inopportune times? At least he felt a little calmer now?

When he said it again, Juno just couldn't help it, the biggest smile she could ever produce crossed her face. It was almost as if she was the sun on a spring morning, bursting forth with happiness.

Juno gently placed her unoccupied hand on his cheek, leaned in and gave him a small peck, then rested her forehead against his. "I love you, too." She said softly. "I've been wanting to say it for a long time...," she got a little choked up, and trailed of.

She had wanted to tell him she loved him since before she even realized she loved him. She was so happy in this moment, that she didn't care that it was his last day at this school with her. That didn't matter anymore, only their future did and she would fight till her last breath for it.

Hattie was bored. The feast was boring. Or at least the hufflepuff table was boring anyway. She did not like it. And was actually about to get up and go and find something more interesting when the fat friar came down to the table. Ahh. Maybe this would make it a little more fun, because she was really bored.

"Hi!" The third year beamed at the ghost, not using his name. It would be a little rude to call him the fat friar, and mean. "I'm excited to go home! Finaalllly!" And nobody else was talking. But that was sad.

The Hufflepuffs were all having their own conservations! The only one that seemed to notice the Friar was little Harriet Paton! Alfred smiled at her and gently floated nearer.

"I'd say 'me too,' but alas, I am not leaving!" he chuckled at her. "Do you have any special plans for this summer, Miss Paton?" he asked. "Or any vacations planned?" He couldn't help but overhear and see from the corner of his eye the very lovey prefect and her boyfriend; he had to smile. Young love was so innocent, so pure. It made him so very happy.

Now, if they started kissing or anything right now, he'd have to say something, but he hoped it didn't come to that! He didn't like being fussy.

SINGLE AND READY TO JINGLE.... this WHOLE ENTIRE BUCKET OF CANDY. For his VERY WELL THOUGHT OUT prank to end off this FABULOUS term - sure, there had been ups and downs, but it had been fun, and his EX-WIFE AHEM and that CHILD were gone. He was king of this castle, everyone. KING.

And to show everyone that he was back in bUSINESS, BABY, he was giving those kiddos DESSERT. BEFORE. DINNER. Well, the headmistress had given her speechy-speech already, but the plates hadn't turned up any desserts yet! THEY WERE STILL ON COURSE NUMERO UNO!

HA! Brilliant.

And he would start with the Hufflepuff table becaaaaaaause Fat Friar was A FATTY.

"FAT FAT MCFATTTTSTER!" Peeves cackled as he swooped through the Fat Friar and pelted him with some malted milk balls. "Bet you WISH YOU COULD EAT ALL THIS!" and he cackled some more before pelting the table with the malted milk balls, especially at the young couple [Juno and Leon].

"Roses are RED - Violets are BLUE - ALL THESE MILK BALLS ARE FOR YOU!!!!!!!!" and he dumped the contents atop their little LOVEY HEADS! MUHAHAHA!

He sprayed the table with red vine candies, jabbing a student or two with one, before cackling away in the Ravenclaw table's direction.

As more people started arriving in the Great Hall, Henry looked up to see Charlotte at the Gryffindor table and he gave her a smile along with returning her little finger wave. Yep, he knew exactly what that meant, and he liked that little gesture. He'd go over to talk to her in just a little bit, or at least sit with her on the train.

As she went to talk to her friends at her table, he turned to talk to the ones at his own table. Henry returned Juno's smile and nod, looking up at Kat as she arrived. "Hey, Kat," he greeted the fourth year with a smile for her as well. "Oh, of course I am. I can't wait." Quidditch was something he absolutely was looking forward to after this term. He could finally put all of this behind him as he threw himself completely into his favorite game. "Think you'll be able to come to any games?" He remembered once she used to call herself his biggest fan, but he wasn't so sure she was all that interested anymore.

Henry also returned the nod to Leon as he joined Juno at the table. "Hey, congratulations... and good luck!" That's what you told someone who was graduating, right? Well, those two appeared to be having some intense conversation, so he didn't want to interrupt. Instead, he turned back to Etta. "Eh.." OWLs. He rubbed the back of his neck before finally smiling and shrugging. "They're hard, but I think you'll do fine if you study." And she was a good student from what he knew. "I think I did better with my practicals, but I can tell you for sure when I get my grades."

"Yeah, of course, summer's the best," he smiled at Hattie as she asked him. "What about you? Got anything exciting planned?" He had quite a full schedule himself, if you counted hanging out with friends and going to the beach as part of his schedule. But he had other structured things to do as well.

And there was the Friar! Henry always liked to see their jolly, house ghost. "Hi, Friar! Are you looking forward to summer?" He always tried to ask the ghosts what they did when the students were away, but they were always elusive with their answers. He didn't have much to say about exams because, well.. OWLs were hard obviously, but he was glad they were done. And he looked up as the Headmistress began her speech, thankful for the promise of food very soon.

Once the food arrived, Henry wasted no time in helping himself and shoveling it into his mouth. He was hungry, okay? But he couldn't help but notice Peeves as he came over, since he was so incredibly loud of course. Oh, free candy? Awesome! "Thanks, Peeves," he said as he caught a few of the malted milk balls. He loved those.

Leon felt like his heart was going to jump right out of his chest as he waited for Juno to say or do something.. If she didn't feel the same way that was fine! Mostly at least! He didn't want to pressure her into saying anything back..

But at least a thank you?

Yeah he'd be good with a Thank you..

He looked up at her as she placed a hand on his cheek and he felt the briefest of pecks on his lips before she spoke again!

And caused his heart to nearly explode out of his chest! "You do? " He almost felt like he was going to cry now.. "Oh Jun.. " The seventh year hugged her tightly and then pulled back quickly, the great hall was really not the best place for this.. but there you have it..



And then along came the one thing that could bring him down! Peeves! He pulled back instantly from Juno and put his arms up over his and Juno's head to protect them from the barrage of candy that was raining down on their heads!

"Gah!! Peeves! " He explained as the poltergeist zoomed away and he sighed softly..

"Well at least we will never forget this moment?" He said with a shake of his head.
