Bentley loved the wooden bridge. No where else in the castle had the vantage like the wooden bridge and most importantly there was never a lot of people out here. He put down his bag filled with the camera equipment that he had accumulated over the years and set his camera on the top of the railing.

If there was anything that he missed about Hogwarts, it was the view from up here. So much to see...so much to take pictures of...

The slytherin thought since he already explored the treehouse, he figured he might as well check out the breath taking view of the wooden bridge. This view seemed unique because he could never see this when he was home. He could see the owls flying in the distance and hear the cries of creatures from the groundskeeper hut. He grinned and just loved listening to the pure silence. He took a deep breath in and out and felt more relaxed. He reached in his robes and took out a sketch pad and began to draw what he was seeing. He would send this to his friends without a doubt. Maybe he could send it to Mason.

"MUTE!!!! MUTE!!!!!" Noelle yelled... Racing along trying to find her puff. Noelle stopped at the bridge. She wouldn't.... She was so small.... Looking over the side of the bridge, she frowned. Not her puff. Noooo.

She was glad Noah kept both the turtles because Merlin knows where they would be if she kept them. Slow buggers but somehow, she would have lost them.

She saw two people on the bridge. One she knew of because of Mel. The other, she didn't. Nor did Noelle care at the moment.

"Hey you! Hey Bentley! Guys!" Noelle yelled to them as the bridge thumped under her feet. "Hey! Have you two seen a light pink puff come by? Small, adorable?" Anything? Merlin... Hady would be so mad....

Peace, quiet and..photography. You know he'd be very okay with coming to school only to take pictures. As much as he didn't dislike learning magic, he still preferred to spend his days taking photographs. Snapping a piece of history and freezing it forever.

At that very moment as he was raised his camera a butterfly pitched on his lens. Bentley could hardly believe his luck..he just needed to be still for another sec---

"Whaaaaaaaaa...no no no..." There went his butterfly close up. He turned to see who had called out his name.

"Oh hey Noelle. No I haven't seen anything light, pink or adorable pass here. What did you lose, a pygmy puff?"

Hady really had no reason to be out on the bridge but yet here she was standing in the middle of it looking at the distance. She leaned up against the railing, hands resting on it. The view was spectacular and she inhaled deeply taking in the fresh air. It really was a nice and to think she had the whole day free to do as she pleased. That wasn't something that happened all that often and yet here she was making the most of it, alone. There was just something about the peacefulness this place brought her that always had her coming back. Maybe she should've stopped at the barn and picked up Sammie though, little crup might have enjoyed running about here.

Aaaahhhhhhhhh, the outdooorsssss.

Such a DRAMATIC place. Some people said it was quiet and Matt partially agreed. He didn't like it when it was TOO quiet, though. Like, that bridge looked way too quiet, for example. It was the middle of the DAY, something should be HAPPENING.

The Gryffindor would make sure something WAS happening.

He skipped!ran a small distance as he stepped onto the bridge and then CARWHEELED his way to the centre. He had taken notice there was a person standing there in the middle of the bridge - doing nothing, apparently?? WEIRD. - so he slowed down just a bit as he closed the distance between them.

Colt had no idea what was going on, first of all he was calmly just sketching on his sketch pad and then he heard a girl screaming? He turned his head and saw her running towards him and this dude next to him. He seemed like in deep thought. Wait a minute, was she calling it mute? He tilted his head in confusion. Mute? That was his name. Weird name if you ask him. He shook his head at her question. "Nah I didn't see anything..." he looked at the dude next to him and he confirmed his suspicions.

So the girls name was Noelle. Noted. Seemed like they knew each other from previous years. Light pink puff? Pygmy puff? Ooohoo those were the things in Weasley Wizard Wheezes. That why it was familiar. "Yeahh the small pink thing? You better hope it didn't go down into the water.." nods his head over. "Or underneath the bridge."

It was quiet. Very quiet. If a pin were to drop she might even have a chance at hearing it if it didn't fall through the slits between the boards that is. Not that it mattered really as she was here alone. By herself. No need around.

Hadleigh inhaled another breath of fresh air slowly letting it out. This was nice. Hearing something close by she glanced to the side just in time to see some CARTWHEELING? along the bridge. Why would someone use the bridge to practice, wouldn't grass be a more suitable place for that. Hady made sure she was out of the way as she watched. "Having fun?"

The person was speaking to him! Matt had a feeling that would happen to he was planning ahead. He had already slowed down, but he wanted to stop... a bit differently.

Judging the space and his speed, he managed to stop in front of the girl doing a handstand. "Ye-eah! Was too quiet out here. This is the OUTDOORS! It's MEANT to be... not quiet." Where were the birds? Crickets? ANYTHIING??? "What's happening? Are you okay?" Why would she be standing there by herself in this quietness???

Hady wad sure the boy had heard her. She knew he had but then why wasn't he stopping? Cartwheel after chartwheel the kid got closer to her. Blinking several times she contemplated moving out of his way until it was to late.

Sure she was going to be banged into the seventh year stepped to the side. Only the boy didn't keep going. Instead he stopped right in front of her. Impressive really. A small smile was on her face. "Not bad cartwheeling there," she praised nodding her head. She raised an eyebrow at his reasoning for what he was doing and honestly she laughed. Alright, it did make sense.

Was she okay? Yes, perfectly. Was it so strange to be out in the quietness? "I'm wonderful actually, just enjoying the fresh air and moment without chaos. How are you today?" Cheerful it seemed

"Why, thank you very much, miss!" Matt grinned. He could deal with being upside down, alright, but his balance - or lack thereof - got the best of him, so he used the side of the bridge to steady himself with his feet. "Aha!" Boom. Nailed it. "Do you cartwheel? You should try it sometime, it's awesome." Just sayinnnn'.

She was enjoying the fresh air and a moment... without chaos. She didn't like chaos then. "You're like my mum. She don't like chaos either. I love chaos! Chaos is COOL. Gives you something to do, y'know??" The boy said as he steadied himself again after wigling his feet in the air. "I'm GREAT!"

Sheesh, that was some exerciseeeee for the arms. He was going to get so STRONG, HOOHAH.

Miss? Aaawww. Hady grinned at the upside down boy. "Hady, my name is Hady." In case he didn't know that which he probably didn't otherwise he wouldn't have called her Miss. She watched him somewhat wobble a little before using his foot to steady himself with the railing. Nice tactic there she'll give him that. Others would've just fallen over. Cartwheel. Her? Yes, yes she did but it had been a little while. "Um...I haven't in a little while actually. I used to dance a fair bit so cartwheels came into it sometimes." Still danced at times for fun. "Can you do other flips and such besides cartwheels?" Curious question.

A small laugh escaped her lips at the look of surprise on his face. "Well I do like my own douse of chaos every now and again but sometimes a little quiet is what I need to clear my head." Surely he didn't like loudness ALL the time. Even just one solid minutes without the hustle and bustle was nice. "I'm used to noise, I have twin baby siblings back home." Which meant lots of crying and running about to help care for them.

This kid was a hyper ball of energy. It was cute honestly and made her smile more. At least he wasn't a grumpy little brat or causing trouble.

"Nice to officially meet ya, Hady! I've seen you around." Oh, and he knew she was the Head Girl, alriiiight. "I'm MATT. Matt Solo, if you like."

Ooohhh! "You did cartwheels while dancing?? Sounds awesome!" The boy said as he finally let his feet down and stood up like a normal person. "And I want to be able to do back flips, but I still haven't been able to. Still need lots of practice and my mum always says I'll end up breaking my neck!" Which he wouldn'ttttt, of course. "Can YOU do any other flips???" He was super curious now, since she looked like she was somewhat interested in the topic.

AHA! He knew it! "Everybody likes chaos, they just don't admit it." Matt gave her a cheeky grin. Clear her head? "What for?" Think clearly? Have new ideas? You could do all that in a chaos!! "I dunno. Maybe I should try it someday." Like, right now. He closed his eyes as soon as he finished talking to try and listen to 'silence'.

"Okay, that's enough." Heh! He still liked his chaos better. And OOHHH!! "I have twin baby cousins!! They're awesome and make a LOT of noise all the time, you're right! How old are your siblings? Are they a boy and a girl? What are they CALLED???" Curious Matt was curious.

"Nice to meet you too Matt. Matt Solo, hmm?" She gave a warm. No need to announce herself as the Head Girl. Her badge was there pinned to her shirt where it needed to be.

Hadleigh nodded a little. "It was mostly just me having fun. A little bit of dancing, a little bit of messing around." Being a kid. Seeing what would happen if jumped off things or tried a flip while doing another move. Pushing all the limits and being young. He wanted to do backflips huh? "Well your mom is right to an extent. If you're not being careful you can get hurt." Merlin knew she had hurt herself many times and not just because of dancing. "If you like I can spot you sometime. It's been a long time since I've done one myself, though helping you out wouldn't be a problem."

"Some would say it depends on the chaos and the amount of it." Lots of people preferred the quiet. "Well I have my lessons, career planning to look into, NEWTs at the end of the term, Head Girl duties to handle as well as other things." Like the band, friends and whatever else was tossed her way.

Hady watched with a content smirk as Matt closed his eyes only to open them meer seconds later. "Good try," she laughed softly. In a few years time he might learn that silence was sometimes good. Ohh? "Is that so? Do you know how old they are?" Maybe they would go to Hogwarts with her siblings one day. "They are a boy a girl. Luna and Lukas. They'll be turning one on Halloween." Which meant she needed to start thinking of what to get them both!

"Yeeeep, you got it!" Another grin was sent her way. Matt Solo it was!

A little bit of messing around. Matt knew all too well about that! "Sounds like fun! You should go back to doing it often!" Matt told her, grin still on his face. Buuuut it was gone when she said his mum was right to an extent. He waved a hand at her dismissively. "Noooo, I won't hurt myself! I'm ALWAYS careful!" The Gryffindor's cheeky grin was back in place.

The boy GAAAASPED. Sometime??? "How about now??" Matt was too excited to see her doing the flips she was talking about and didn't want to wait for 'sometime'. "There's no time like the present, they say!" Heeeeeeeeh!! COME OONNNN!!! AND she would teach him too?? NOOOWWW, PLEEEASE!!!

The third year shruuugged. He still liked chaos and he was sure other people did too! Career planning?? "What's that? What are you planning to be??" Curious Matt was back to being curious. "Sounds fun! And very chaotic." Is the mention of the cheeky grin really necessary?

Matt shrugged again, knowing fully well that those two seconds hadn't been enough, but OH WELL. He could try it some other time. Now back to twin babies talk! "Yeah. They're like, one or two." Matt wasn't sure how old they were EXACTLY, but he knew they were still tiny toddlers who thought they could speak English but couldn't really. That was always funny, he thought. "Lukas! Almost like 'Luke'." Which meant Matt approved of it. Halloween! "What a cool day to be your birthday!"

Scarlett absolutely LOVED fall. It was her favorite time of the year because you had all the nice weather, Halloween, and you could wear sweaters and boots and tons of cute accessories. Today, she was wearing a black and pink chevron scarf along with her combat boots and knee high socks. One of her favorite outfits!

She decided to go for a while and give herself a break from studying - and a break from Snowball's continuous meowing. He was being very needy today, and she'd filled his treat ball like ten times already. He was going to get fat, and he just did NOT seem to care.

She paused when she got to the bridge and looked out at the lake, sighing and closing her eyes to let the fall breeze hit her face. This was a PERFECT day. Not sunny either, which made her head hurt.

It was finally starting to get colder. And Hattie liked that. She loved summer, but she'd painted enough summery paintings. She needed the nice fall weather. Then she could do some pretty paintings. She wanted to improve her painting skills. She was good at pencil drawing, but she wanted to improve her skills. She needed to have all around arty skills if she was going to get far in that career choice. But she was only 12, so it didn't really matter that much.

She was walking around the grounds, wanting to watch the changing colours of the leaves and other green things around the grounds. She wanted to find the best spots to do her paintings. She smiled, heading down the wooden bridge. Oh. It was really pretty.

She noticed a familiar face in front of her and smiled a little more. "Hi Scarlett" Looked like she wasn't the only one out in the grounds today.

If that's what the kid wanted to be called she would do her best to remember it. Matt Solo. Alright then.

"It was fun. I'm not so sure I have the time to be dancing very often but I try to work it in here and there." Busy. Always busy. Not like she had been last term but this term she had Head Girl responsibilities to handle. Hady laughed at how quick he was to dismiss what she was saying. "I'm sure you are. Just remember that even when being careful accidents do happen, okay?" Nothing wrong with being a bit more cautious at times.

Now? He wanted her to do flips and stunts right here? Right now? The seventh year glanced around taking note that they were still the only two on the bridge. At least no one was around to bang into. "Alright, sure why not," she laughed shrugging her shoulders. "What do you want to see first?"

He was still young. Lots of time for him to have fun and not worry about what he was going to do with his life. "A healer. For creatures. That's my true goal." It's what she was going to do. No ends. If's. Or buts about it. "It is fun but there's a need of seriousness to it all as well."

Aaawww! If they were one or two then chances were they might go to school with her siblings. How cute! Hadleigh smiled nodding her head. "Yeah, I call him Luke or Luca sometimes." She had actually been the one to suggest her baby brothers name. "Halloween has to be such a fun birthday. It's just sad that I won't get to be with them on that day." It was a school day and she'd be here but at least she could see them through the two-way mirror so it was something.

Scarlett hadn't been expecting anyone out and about (that she knew at least) and jumped a bit when her name was called, but smiled when she saw it was Hattie. "Hey Hattie! Isn't it a LOVELY day?" she said with a grin as she looked out at the grounds again. Fall needed to just last all year round until summer. They could skip all that winter nonsense. She did not care.

"What are you up to?" she asked her with a smile, turning and jumping to sit on the railing of the bridge. It was wide enough that she didn't have to worry about falling off, thank goodness. Scarlett was a fan of sitting on things that were not normally sitting places. Hehe.

Buried deep under the bridge, past a ton of support beams and tangled vines and overgrown grass and weeds sat Hazel Haddox. His back leaned against the beams, feet propped up on another to keep himself steady and as comfortable as he could. His face and hands and just about every visible inch of skin was smudged or dusted in a light coat of charcoal, his favorite medium.

Something about the smokey way it covered surfaces drew the boy to play with such messy things. He liked just how dark it could get, how easy it rubbed off on things. He was no stranger to messy, dirty things and honestly, it was weird for the boy to be completely clean. Sanitation wasn't really a priority to the boy.

He ran his fingers through his hair, some of the green getting smudged with some gray, and moved to a new page in the sketchbook.

"You say that as if you're really busy! What do you DO?? Besides Head of Girl stuff." See, Matt kneeewwwww who she was, yep. 'Just remember that even when being careful accidents do happen, okay?' Uuuhhhh... "Riiiight..." Matt trailled off. Whatevah!

OH, SHE WAS GOING TO DO STUNTS! AWESOME! ...What did he want her to do first?? "ALL OF IT!!" It'd be awesome if she could do it ALL at the same TIME or one thing right after the other, but Matt wouldn't ask too much from her. She said it herself she hadn't been doing that for a while, sooo. Matt was nice. He stood there with expectant eyes as he bounced on the balls of his feet, waiting to watch the SHOW.

"A healer for creatures! Sounds awesome." Not something he would do, particularly. But still sounded like a pretty cool job! "I bet it's a lot better and more fun than boring office jobs." He nodded repeatedly. Office jobs were all booriiinnnggg. "You'll be out and about with creatures all the time! Do you know what kind of creature you want to be your specialty??" Curious Matt was curious again.

"That's a cool name!" The Gryffindor said regarding Hady's brother."Yeah! Everyone's already ready to party and they all dress up in costumes and it must be awesome to have your birthday on Halloween. Ready-made party every year!!"

Toady the bitter December wind was awful. It made flying extremely difficult for Frankie in his crow form. The Head Boy thought he was being clever by flying up to a window in the Gryffindor Tower from Care of Magical Creatures so he could get to the warmth of the fire in the common room sooner, but that assumption of his was quickly proved wrong. The wind was blowing against him, and he swore that his black feathers were beginning to be weighed down by icicles.

After struggling for what seemed like ages, the boy in his crow form managed to fly by the Stone Circle and through the entrance at the end of the wooden bridge. With a few more flaps of his frozen wings and ending up in the middle of the bridge, he returned to his human form. The ends of his blond hair had icicles stuck to them and his cheeks were quite rosy. Immediately, he wrapped his winter cloak tighter around him before his teeth began to chatter.

BRR!

Dora wasn't keen on birds, but she caught herself watching a particularly curious crow. Having followed it rather stealthily for a little ways she stopped at the edge of the wooden bridge. Placing her hands on her hips she watched as the crow began to morph... into a frozen looking Frankie.

COOOOOOOOOL!

"Frankie... you're going to catch your death flying around like that, you know," she said as she began to approach. "But that must be fun, yeah? Flying I mean. I hate brooms though." Yes, the Gryffindor was rambly, perhaps, but whatever. Pulling her scarf tighter around herself she smiled at the older boy. He was alright for a Head Boy, you know. Not nearly as stuffy as she would have expected one to be anyway. Hehe.

Truth be told, he hadn't noticed Dora standing there. He didn't even know that she had been watching him. But, when her voice sounded, the older Gryffindor did his best to smile back at her. Though it only ended up being half of a smile, followed by an intense chattering of his pearly whites. "H - h - hi, D - D - D - Dora."

Frankie simply nodded his head at her question. Being able to change into a bird at will was definitely fun, and definitely worth all of the work he had to go through to make it happen. Flying in the middle of winter, however, was not fun. Especially on windy days like these. It made getting to ones common room extremely difficult when all one wanted was to quickly get cozy next to a fire and take a nap.

Reaching in his pocket, he took out his wand and casted a silent Insulation Charm on them both. "Much better," the blond commented after the warmth took over, deciding to take this moment to warm up a bit and regain some energy before making his way into the castle and all the way up the stairs. He then gazed over at the younger Gryffindor, backtracking to what she said about hating brooms. "What'd a broom ever do to you? Buck you off?" The tone in his voice was one of curiosity.
