Potions Suggestion Thread

OOC: Hi guys!

Welcome to my Potions Suggestion Thread.

Are there any potions you know of that you would like to brew during lesson?
Is there something you would like a potion for? (eg. being able to understand your pets).
Are there any theoretical things you'd like to explore more?
Do you want to work more with certain ingredients?

Please make your OOC suggestions here and I will take them all on board. These are lessons for YOU and YOUR characters, and I would love to be able to make the lessons as fun as I can for you guys. If you don't want to post in here, feel free to PM/VM me.

I (and Mel) think it would be really fun to make a potion that has the properties of the Babbling Potion and Truth potions...so people end up just babbling things...

here are some ideas:
1. Babbling Truth
2. One that gives temporary metamorphmagus powers to the drinker - (like polyjuice but only able to change one feature per dram of potion)
3. a 'drive' changing potion, so it changes the drinkers view of things so it could make a very intelligence driven person think more in a "what is brave? what is right?" mentality, sort of as a means to understand what drives members of other houses.

so far I came into some ideas...

1. Befuddlement Draught
2. Height-growing potions
3. Pinocchio Potions :xd: (yes, when someone took this, every time he or she tell a lie their nose will grow longer like a Pinocchio :P)

This is a great idea. :) *channels her inner Lux* :shifty:

First of all I third the suggestion for the aging potion! It would be amazing to have a potion that turns the drinker into a dragon for a short period of time but I don't think that would go well. Invisibility Potion would also be interesting. :shifty:
