As is customary at any party, there is a fantastically fun dance floor! Being the first thing you see when you enter the dungeon and taking up most of the space at this event, it is decked out with beautiful paper marigolds in many vibrant colours. There are skull-shaped lights hanging over the dance floor to light your way. But the coolest part of the room is the skeleton mariachi band! They will play you the salsa, rumba, cha-cha, tango, samba, and any other Latin American songs you can possibly fathom. If you're lucky, they might even know some current songs with a mariachi twist.

Come and dance, dance, dance UNTIL YOU DIE! Hahahaha -- we mean, come dance and have a great TIME!

Juno was so excited for this party. The decorations were just beautiful! She had a different costume on all day for classes, but knew she needed to class it up a little for this. She wanted to be beautiful, and seeing as the theme of this Halloween party was basically Dia de Los Muertos, or Day of the dead, she knew she had to do something more traditional; Which is why she picked the Flamenco Dancer outfit and made her makeup look like a sugar skull.

Halloween was one of her most favorite holidays, other than Christmas of course. It was like you could be whoever you wanted to be! The Mariachi Band was currently playing a Cha-cha. Punch in hand, she went out on the dance floor and danced to the beat. Many people didn't know that she was a really good dancer. Dancing a Cha-Cha was one of her favorites!

Time to boogie!

Mohamed was typically not one to dress up on Hallowe'en for the simple fact that he felt he had gotten too old to do so. The last time he had dressed up for the holiday was back when he was attending the university ... or maybe one of the years for a party after he and his departed wife had gotten married. Nonetheless, it had been a LONG TIME since he had dressed up. He wasn't going to let that spoil his fun this year though. For this reason, he was eternally grateful that the house-elves helped him by gathering some rolls of toilet paper for him.

His body mostly covered, the headmaster walked onto the dance floor, intrigued by the decorations and the skeleton mariachi band. After wandering about for a few moments, thankful that no one had stepped on his mummy wraps yet, he casually went to stand beside one of the Hufflepuff prefects.

"You look absolutely marvelous, mah dear," the African commented, gesturing at her costume that fit ever-so-perfectly with the theme of the party. "You and your fellow prefects did a wonderful job setting up da festivities."

Juno had just drank a big gulp of her punch, dancing made her super thirsty, when the headmaster came up to her. Her eyes went really large, and for the tiniest moment she didn't know what to say, but then gathered herself. "Oh, thank you Headmaster!" She sat her drink down on one of the tables nearby. "We all worked really hard to get everything done. My fellow prefects did a great job!" She smiled up at the man.

It looked like he had rolled himself in about 20 rolls of toilet paper. She grinned, "You make an awesome Mummy, by the way!" The older man had done a great job in wrapping them. Not too many pieces were dangling to were anyone would step on them. He had to have had help with that.

Toes skirting the dance floor, Junia swayed to the music and watched those around her. This was the perfect spot to see what everyone was up to and the small Botros girl so liked to be in the know. A smile was given to both the prefect and Headmaster who were also nearby, though the brunette stayed fairly quiet. It was weird, knowing her grandfather used to be the one with the title. She wished she could've been here while he was in charge...

And now she wanted Adrastos.

It was Halloween! Carl wandered around the party, looking at all the decorations. Skulls, marigolds, they were all so cool and so Halloween. He grinned as he saw a skeleton band playing. Before he knew it, he was on the dance floor. He was not a good dancer, but he swayed to the music excitedly.

... However, the swaying thing became a bit awkward after a while. Maybe he should grab a drink, or talk to people. Seeing a Slytherin dancing quietly nearby, he said. "Hi."

Colt decided to check out the dance floor, he was scooping it out and saw a lot of students were still eating. He shrugged and thought more room to dance. He wasn't that embarrassed to dance this time around since he was disguised as someone else. He saw a pretty girl in a red dress and he had no idea who it was. He thought he might as well ask her to dance. "Excuse me my lady.." he said bowing like captain jack sparrow would. "Would you care to have a dance with me?" He hoped this pick up line would semi work. He had no idea who was behind the make up.

It wasn’t like Brooklyn couldn’t dance. In fact, she knew for a fact she could, aside from the fact she suspected her costume was a bit too heavy to really do much, not to mention her heels weren’t exactly the same as her pointe shoes. However, there hadn’t been anyone who piqued her interest at the refreshments as she’d passed by to take a drink and a sugar cookie, sweeping through as only Cersei could. Nor was she so inclined to face paint or hit at a piñata at the moment, so here she was. Queen Cersei, standing near the edge of the dance floor nibbling on the cookie idly as she eyed the skeleton band.

They weren’t bad, but she expected better. Especially knowing that there was at least one good band at the school without dealing with skeletons.

It wasn't something he could normally hear in the muggle world. I guess it was wizard rock. The girl seemed to have a pretty fun time. He grinned and wondered who she was behind the mask. She chuckled, she let go of her fan and it dangled from the strap attached to her wrist.

She danced around him, as beautiful as any flamenco dancer, stopping right in front of his face. "But I'm sure you'll remember me now." She grinned. WHO WAS THIS JUNO!?!?!?! She was more like her father than she realized....

Char-as-Medusa (Meduschar?) hadn't brought a date even though USUALLY she was all about having a date to these things. It was just at the moment she had a lot to think about when it came to boys and besides she didn't need one to be able to start dancing! AND besides that, Medusa turned boy people into stone when they looked at her right? Sooo she was channeling Medusa and doing her owwwn thing. Maybe someone would join her though?

With the snakes in her headpiece charmed to move, Char began to dance happily all by herself, hands in the air, happiness on her face.

Beating down a pinata was fun and Natalia was actually feeling much better. That and she took a little stop and a break before heading over towards the music. This was an interesting thing to have, but it did go with the theme so Natalia moved closer. She started dancing a bit to the music as she continued towards the area when someone caught her eye and she turned her head to see if it was Lily.

It wasn't Lily and she was still walking as she looked and didn't see when she knocked right into someone. Stumbling and gripping the person to try to break a fall she looked. UGH, it was Brooklyn, really? If Brooklyn was here she assumed he was here. Her eyes darted around, because if he was she was out of there.

He hadn't planned to be on the dancefloor. Not at all, but how could he not after getting a look at Charlotte Kettleburn. It wasn't the fact that she was dancing alone that drew his attention (let's face it, it was only a matter of time til someone changed that) but rather..........her charmed snakes.

It made sense... Why not have them move when you had the spells to do this at your disposal...but Circe Char.

Blaise approached with mock caution, his gaze locked more on the snakes than his friend for the moment.

"Will any of those attack me if I try dancing with you?" Obvious, serious question here. William Shakespeare probably never had a head full of snakes to contend with. As you can imagine, this left him woefully inexperienced.

The skeleton mariachi band hadn’t grown on Brooklyn. In fact, she’d merely continued eyeing them as she finished the cookie in her hand. To the extent that, for the most part, she hadn’t really deigned to pay attention to anyone else around. It wasn’t important, seeing as they were either off at the other sections of the party or were basically too occupied to concern themselves with the queen. If they didn’t think it important, she certainly didn’t feel like she ought to either. Instead, she continued occupying herself with deciding if she liked the music and the party in general.

She let go of her arm and sort of hoped the girl fell on her butt. Seriously she was trying to save her from falling but if she was wiggling free and just going to sound so ungrateful that Nat was trying to save her from falling she could just fall. "I was watching where I was going until I got distracted by searching for a friend." She knew she needed to apologize, it was her fault, but she didn't want to apologize to Brooklyn. She heard rumors and saw that they spent time together. UGH, she needed to stop thinking about it. Hugo Foster was just a pretend name in her head as far as she cared. Not a real person!

"Why aren't you dancing? A queen should be dancing in front of her subjects." It was sarcastic and a smirk hit her face, because she just realized he wasn't anywhere around. Brooklyn was alone. She shouldn't be happy about it, but not seeing him with someone was something that made her happy.

Make up on point, thanks to Hazel, she's the ~~"Ex-"wife~~ ghost bride dancing by herself beside the band.

He dropped his mouth and tilted his head, "Wait a minute Juno..?" Now he was impressed at how outgoing she was becoming. Man this wasn't the Juno he met. "Wait a minute, you were so shy. This is a new side of you.." he commented. He turned his head around and she danced around him. Of course he would remember her now. He beamed and began to slow dance with her. Then he had a second thought this couldn't be her. Maybe she was pulling her leg. "Unless your pulling my leg.." he added.

Come on Winchester, flirt back or something. He cleared his throat and was still in shock it was Juno Darcy. "Do you know who I am?' he asked just to be curious. He knew it was a lame question but come on he had to play a little bit.

Juno grinned at his shocked face. She really didn't know what had gotten into her. Maybe it was the outfit, maybe she just had a sudden burst of confidence. She didn't know, but she liked flirty and confident Juno. It was actually really fun. Maybe she could be more like this....nah probably not but at least for tonight she could be. Grinning she replied, "How could I not be a little shy when a cute boy talks to me? And, yes, it's completely new..." she giggled at the thought. Her father would nooooooot be happy. When he pulled her into a slow dance, she wrapped both of her arms around his neck, but made sure she wasn't too close. She was a prefect and didn't want to get into trouble. "Definitely not pulling your leg." She grinned and gently pulled on one of the dreadlocks on his wig.

Juno grinned hugely, leaning into whisper in his ear, "Captain Colt Winchester, I presume." She leaned back with a giggle. Who was this person and what did she do with Juno? HAD HER FATHER INHABITED HER BRAIN? Nope...she was just a big flirt. Inherited traits. She couldn't help it, but she did like it.

If Nat really thought she’d done enough to knock her over, Brooklyn wasn’t about to give her the satisfaction. She had impeccable balance, given all her ballet training. The collision had more annoyed her than really done anything physically. She’d barely had to take a step to keep upright, anyway, and she rewarded the answer with a shrug. “Who were you looking for?” Not that she particularly felt as if she’d know where that person was, or really cared about if she knew. It just was the best response to give, considering she doubted the brunette was going to bother apologizing for running into her. She wasn’t about to give her the satisfaction of asking for an apology either.

“Not my kind of music,” she added, idly taking another drink from the cup in her hand. The smirk only got a bit of a raised eyebrow. A queen could do a lot more than just dance in front of her subjects, and if Nat really cared to know, queens rarely made fools of themselves in front of their subjects.

She’d raised her eyebrow again at the question. “The band? I’ve heard better.” Yes, including the Sirens.

He hadn't even remembered Medusa's snakes did that part to people. That was definitely...interesting. "D'you think there are charms for that, though? Having something turn people to stone?" Naturally, he didn't expect something like that to be ALLOWED and even if it was, he'd never be interested in learning it himself but the idea in itself was interesting, as proven by the enthusiasm with with his quill went about describing Char's appearance and such.

Ohhh. Uerrmrmrmm. It took a second for Char to realise that of course Blaise would ask that, because he'd been on holiday with herself and Dalton and that was the reason and not because he was psychic or something.

"Well, he doesn't really dance.... and I came on my own! And I might dance with other people too..." And there were THINGS for her to think about right now. "I'm not sure if he's even here."

"Hi." Junia's inquisitive gaze fell on the boy and her head tilted slightly, taking in his appearance. She'd never met him before, that was for sure. New people could be interesting and so she turned to face him fully, deciding conversation needed to happen.

"Are you having fun?" At the event, she meant. Junia hadn't started having fun just yet but she felt there were possibilities for her to have some.

HAD HER FATHER INHABITED HER BRAIN? Nope...she was just a big flirt. Inherited traits. She couldn't help it, but she did like it.

Colt was distracted by her dancing skills. He was mesmerized to say the least. Where did these dancing skills come from? He heard her question and he shrugged in agreement. I mean if a cute girl talked to him, he might blush and babble like a baboon. He learned to play it cool from his cousin Braedon. He said it makes you more attractive in that sense. "Well you see calm, cool and collected in the flirting situation I think made me more attractive.." he smirked. As he brought her into a slow dance position, he felt her arms around his neck and he raised his eyebrows in astonishment. He didn't expect that.

He looked around for the supervisors and realized there weren't any. They were in the clear but had to keep their distance. "I can notice that.." he said and raised a brow when she played with one of his dreadlocks. Bold move Juno Darcy. Bold move. Then when he asked if she knew who he was, she was correct. She didn't have to whisper it but it made it kind of romantic. He smiled widely and nodded, "Right you are Miss. Darcy. He broke away from her and leaned down and took her hand and kissed it. Being the pirate gentlemen he was portraying. "I take it you know the Pirate of the Caribbean Movies then?" He never knew if Juno was part muggle or not.
