 Honeydukes is the greatest (and only) candy shop in Hogsmeade that never has a quiet day. Knowing that the place is famous for its chocolate and other sugary delights that are too scrumptious to resist, students and adults alike flock to this shop to satisfy their sweet tooth. If you were to peek through the window, you will witness shelves full of hundreds of candy jars and boxes as well as a large crowd of customers greedily snatching them before they all run out.
A million coloured boxes and wrappers capture your attention the moment you step inside the shop. The walls are adorned with green shelving, the counters hold jars and boxes of different candies, and there is even a station for trying out candy samples from chocolate frogs to jelly slugs and anything in between. Feel free to explore the entirety of the stop; just refrain from going down to (or coming out of...) the cellar where crates and boxes full of candy are stored.

It was much nicer in here than outside in the cold and in here there were sweets. This fact was even more exciting because a certain twelve year old snake had saved up her money for such occasions as this. She was going to shop and shop big, oh yes.
...She'd also be making sure to give her teeth some extra care in the coming weeks, as they'd certainly need it.
Standing in front of the sugar quills, Junia considered just how many it made sense to get. Two seemed reasonable but three, well that sounded better.

It was that time of year again when it was the eagerly awaited trip to Hogsmeade. This slytherin was kind of excited to get his hands on some candy. He needed some storage in his trunk for midnight snacking. He even got an owl from Dora that she invited him to Hogsmeade and he told her to meet at the candy shop. I mean come on who doesn't like candy? As he made his way to the shop and was bundled in his robes, he felt the warmth and familiar scents of chocolate and sweets. He grinned and saw the shop was empty. There wasn't too many people here yet. Maybe he was early? Ah well more room to look around and see what he wanted.
He walked around and saw there was chocolate frogs, bertie botts which he will obviously get for his family at home. They loved playing the guessing game and seeing which beans were the bad ones. He even saw some sugar quills and pepper imps. He saw fizzing whisbees and the slytherin was busy filling up his hands with random items.

Shivering slightly, Phillip still somehow managed to tug Kat along for this little trip. Nothing like a Hogsmeade weekend to spend some time with the little sis, eh? Even if the boy had to resist the urge to throw a snowball at the girl on the way here.
Snowball fights could wait. First, they needed some sweets and he had some birthday money to spend.
Entering the sweets store, the Slytherin held it open for the Hufflepuff - see? Gentlemanly - and took a moment to look around. The samples caught his attention first, mostly because of the 'free' aspect of it. He even tiptoed to get a better look, despite being five feet and nine inches in height. "Hey, Katty, I think they're sampling a new kind of fudge. Wanna go and try it out?"

She had figured he would be running late, but heh. THERE HE WAS. Pulling the gloves off one finger at a time she made her way over, smile on her face. " You haven't been here long, have you?" she asked as she nudged him with her shoulder.

Some of it was for his friends and family back home. "Well I guess I COULD make an exception...." he rolled his eyes. "It is gotta be something cheap though.." he smirked some more.

Noelle needed a little sweetness in her life!
She hadn't been getting cake or goodies lately because she had been trying her best to keep a healthy lifestyle. It was one of the things for Animagus training. It was easier to turn if you kept up the healthier lifestyle. She even found time here and there to jog with Henry.
But now, Noelle couldn't pass up a trip for treats while on her Hogsmeade trip.
She breathed in the sweet smell as she walked through the doors. Ahhhhhh. She missed that smell.

Olly could not make a trip to Hogsmeade without stopping at Honeydukes. That was where the candy was so of course it was his favorite store. Except he didn't really need more candy. They hadn't been back from winter break very long, and he had replenished his candy supply while he was home. But that didn't mean he couldn't look. Except of course he was going to buy something. Olly strolled down the aisles of the shop. There were so many choices, how could he possibly make a decision?

Maybe she's gonna buy some Bertie Bott's to be shared with Phillip too and some other sweets for her dorm mates. Speaking of dorm mate.... Ava saw Noelle was there too, though she's more than just her dorm mate. That girl was also her best friend and someone that she trusted very much. Without a doubt, she walked sneakily behind her and gave her a back hug.

Gaston hastily undid his scarf as he walked into the candy shop. Since the incident with the moving staircase, he'd developed an aversion to neckwear, but it was far too cold to go without a scarf. Well that, and it helped hide his injuries. While it was extremely unlikely that any homicidal poltergeists would try to strangle him with his own scarf (again!) here in Hogsmeade, but he still wasn't taking any chances and quickly stuffed the scarf into his pocket.
The shop was already a lot more crowded than he thought it'd be! He saw several of his students milling about and paused to smile or nod politely at each one as he passed, but he didn't stop to chat. After all, they probably came here to get away from the professors, not to strike up a conversation with them!
As a matter of fact, it was because of the students that Gaston was here. All the candy he'd bought before the start of the term was dwindling fast, and the candy won over the students in a way his personality never could! He perused the displays toward the back of the shop. Chocoballs, coconut ice, cherry center truffles... so many options! But which should he buy? He looked around the shop, secretly hoping a friendly student would come along and help him decide.

Dora Umbridge didn't even date boys, so he was going to have to get over that, yeah? Yeah.

Noelle's eyes were dancing across the shelves as she eyed all the candy. She rotated the coins in her hand to calculate exactly how much candy she would be able to take home.... it never occurred to her that she could steal. She could but she wouldn't. Noelle may be a lion at heart, but she was raised by a badger at heart.
Mm....
Maybe she would get one of each.....? Her thoughts were swirling when she felt arms circle around her and hold her tight. Noelle almost grabbed her wand before she realized it was a hug. People couldn't just grab her like that. Especially while she was in town and alone. ... they could get hurt like that.
Noelle grinned though, seeing the bracelet on the arms that were holding her and knowing it was her best friend, Ava. " Better be careful grabbing people like that in public." She said jokingly... but not really. She turned and hugged Ava tight. " I missed you over break." Then she saw the basket. " Are you getting me goodies too?"
Eye twinkle. Puppy dog grin.

Besides, it was a back hug and not that Ava did something to endanger her best friend. So the Gryffindor just giggled and hugged Noelle back. "There would be a stranger who dared to hug you from back, Summers." She said. "I know that you missed me." Cue a little flirty wink. Did Ava miss her too? Obviously, but she wouldn't say that to make Noelle's head grow bigger.
Is she gonna get her some sweets too? Well.... "I was about to get you some cockroach clusters or blood lollipop just for you." She said jokingly. Well, Ava did get some homemade fudge for their supplies since they often stay up late just for gossiping or talking about each other's dating life.

As dramatically as ever, Phillip turned to the Hufflepuff at her words, his mouth gaping open slightly. "I AM nice." What was with that sarcasm, eh? There was no need for it to back up a truthful comment. Do you hear that, Katty? He even threw in the most innocent smile he could muster. It was one that worked on most people but if Katty was anything like their mum, he might have to think of another tactic.
Now, it was her turn to steer him towards the food, which he let her do. There was no use standing there any longer, was there? Approaching the desk, he glanced over the display quickly before leaning closer to Kat and whispering, "How many samples do you think we can sneak between the two of us?" What? It was an important question.

She assumed most of the students were down in the village, and therefore, she could take just a quick little break herself.
She wandered first into the candy shop. She really wanted to pick up some sugar quills. Sucking on the end of one while writing was a habit she picked up in school that she never really grew out of.
"Gaston." she greeted as she passed. She, of course, had heard all about certain events. "How are you?" She asked politely. She assumed that the Professor wouldn't go into details, especially here in the middle of a candy shop. It was still courteous to ask. She even did her best not to glance and see if there was any visible damage.

He self-consciously tugged at the collar of his sweater, trying to hide the ring around his neck left when Peeves had grabbed him, just in case.
"I can't seem to decide what kind of candy to buy!" he said, shaking his head. Not that it mattered much... it wasn't as if he was going to be the one eating it! Still he wanted to pick something that the students would enjoy. "Any ideas?"

Olly grinned. What a good philosophy to have. He would definitely leave all the fizzing whizbees for her and she would enjoy them. He, on the other hand, would get something else. The fudge did look really good and he was seriously considering it. Olly moved even closer to the display case, assuming Jacobi would follow. "I have a lot too, but you can never have too much candy." Also a great philosophy. "Pumpkin fudge does look good. You get that I'll get..." He trailed off, considering his options. "They all look good. Mmm peanut butter chocolate. That one sounds great." He also reached into his pocket for his coin bag, set on his decision.

She turned her attention back to the candy on the shelves. Her eyes scanned the boxes and variety in the aisle they were on. "I'm partial to sugar quills myself." she said picking up some for herself. "What type do you prefer? Chocolates? Chewy? Fruity?" There really was a lot of options. It was hard to suggest things with nowhere to start.
