| | |  Dueling Arena
 A well lit circular room, the Dueling Arena is a room in which magical defensive methods can take place. This is a room that screams extravagance, from its high ceiling to the windows that surround the walls and the detailing that can be found here and there. While no fireplace can be seen, there will be a heating charm put into place to keep you going through the blistering cold.
Various platforms have been put up around the room for those who like to show off their defensive techniques. For the more shy individuals, practice on the floor as you will. Just be aware that while the ground may look hard, falling onto it is going to feel about as tough as falling onto a body-form mattress.
Not ready to practice on another human being? Use one of the dummies surrounding the left hand side of the wall. Just make sure to put them back in their places once you're done.

Charlotte was excited. Why wouldn't she be? She'd got the BEST dueler in the whoooole school to agree to duel her, to teach her a few things. Char had a tendency to watch ALL of Zeke's duels anyways so she had learned plenty, but some one on one time with the older Gryffindor would only teach her more.
She stretched happily and bounced around from foot to foot. Hopefully he'd arrive soon!

There was no denying that he lived and breathed the sport of dueling, and so he wasn't at all surprised that another of his peers asked him for a practice session. Naturally he was only too happy to help. It was very generous of him, no? But he liked Char though, she had guts, she had bite, and it THOROUGHLY amused him.
Slinging his bag off his shoulder and dropping it to the side of the room upon his entrance, Zeke strode toward the stretching Lioness. "You're looking... limbered," he grinned in greeting. The temptation to catch her off-guard had been real, but hardly sportsman like. He'd save that for another time.

"Of course! Got to be prepared you know!" She WAS prepared. And she had been doing just as well in dueling as he had, they were simply in different divisions. Now Char wasn't expecting to be able to take him out in a duel, but she was hoping that she could get in a few interesting attacks, keep him on his toes a bit. She wanted Zeke to be impressed with her!
"Can you teach me something exciting, Zeke? Something I can use?"

"Welll.... I'm quick! I think that's my biggest strength. And I'm creative. I'm not so good at heavy spells," As in the ones that took a lot of powerful oomph to cast. She didn't use those in duels much.
But that was maybe something she should learn a bit, now that she was going into a higher division.

He wasn't really one for 'teaching' or 'mentoring' per se, or at least, he never thought of himself in that role... but it was something that had come about more often in previous years. It was fair to say he enjoyed it though. Helping, he enjoyed it.
"Me," he answered quickly, "I might get bored otherwise, or jealous." Yeah...
Flourishing his wand in a circular fashion, Zeke took to one side of the platform and offered his partner a courtesy bow. He was ready when she was.
