Along the main thoroughfare between the stands and the food court lie scores of tents tempting you with their wares. Energetic saleswizards call out to passing patrons; sly witches beckon you in with a bat of their eyelashes. Occasional bursts of light, puffs of smoke, and other clearly magical happenings are all around.
You can find almost anything you could ever want here, whether it relates to brooms, dragons, Sweden, or magic in general. One tent boasts programs - only 4 Galleons 2 Sickles. Another is selling omnioculars for 10 galleons (but for a limited time, get two for 19!). One roaming witch sells miniature country flags so you can support your favorite racer for a mere 1 galleon 15 knuts - a steal! And one of the more popular vendors has all things dragon: stuffed animals, books, 'living' miniatures, and more.
So take a look around the makeshift shops. Whatever you could possibly want is likely for sale. Just try not to spend all your galleons in one place!

He wanted to buy a stuffed dragon for Jackson and possibly some other little things that he'd have as a token from the trip and something pretty for Cassie.
Pulling the black cap down over his dark curls and pulling on a pair of gloves on his fingers against the chill in the air, the librarian stopped at one of the vendors to admire all the dragon memorabilia.
Lifting up a blue stuffed dragon into the air to examine it closer Leo said to nobody in particular. "What a real looking stuffed dragon, and it's cute too. I wonder if there are dragon necklaces on sale too?"

One of the first places Hadley went was the souvenir tents. Having been born and growing up in the muggle world, she was always curious to see what the magical world had for sale. Most of the stuff was pointless trinkets and such, but the pointless trinkets in the wizarding world was so much better than the boring ones in the muggle world.
Like this moving dragon figure. That was tempting. She was also looking for a plush toy Asher might like. Something for him to play with when she was in classes. Hads also wanted to get something for Natalie and Mark. And herself of course. Maybe she'd check out the broom merchandise. Or see if they had brooms for sale. As much as she wanted to adopt Charlie the Hogwarts practice broom, she couldn't trust that Hogwarts would part with him soon.
Spotting Professor Yoon and Mr. Kitridge, Hadley gave them a wave, but didn't approach them. She'd leave the adults to whatever adults talked about.

The souvenir stands probably should've come before anything else but it didn't. It was actually something she had saved for one of the last things to do. There was just something about buying souvenirs after the events had taken place that she enjoyed. Plus she wouldn't feel rushed by the want to go seeing everything else that was available to them to see.
Hady slowly made her way towards on of the stands that solo held all things dragon. SCORE! This was the perfect spot for her to get things for those she cared for and that was quite a list. Her new baby brother and sister were to be born any day and she wanted nothing more then to get them both something adorable. What better gift then stuffed dragons?! She picked up several different kinds before settling on a pink one for Luna and a blue one for Lukas. She also got herself one, green and silver. Stuffies were a thing for her that not many knew she collected but she did. Which meant she got two more...not for herself but for a special badger and his partner each in the boys former house colors. Gosh how she missed them...
Turning away from the stuffed animals before her thoughts upset her she moved on to the necklaces. Several of these were being bought each a little different to represent her family members. How many did she need again??.. The girl found herself counting quietly in her head making sure she didn't forget anyone. Seven. She needed seven and hopefully each a little bit different.
There was more to look at too!

Turning around he said with a polite nod, as he recognized one of his new colleagues for the year, who had taken over Divination after the dreadful Hag. "Hello, Professor Yoon. Are you here to buy some souvenirs too? I want to find something for my son and wife." Gaze trailing over the wares he asked. "Have you seen any necklaces?"
He spotted Haddie as she passed by them to go look at the other stands. Leo returned the eagle girl's wave before he turned his gaze to Sora again. "Have you been to Sweden before this trip?"

Dante could always visit the dragons in a tiny bit. He was going get his brother something. Basically to rub it in his face that he had been to Sweden. Not knowing that Nigel had probably already been there. Any he was still getting him something. Maybe a stuffed dragon. He did not know. But all that got sidetracked when he saw Hady actually enjoying herself. Which was a sight to see nowadays. Plus maybe she could suggest things to get.
Dante strolled on over to her.
"Looks like someone is enjoying themselves"

Not entirely was still better than not at all. So progress. Dante thinks. He could be wrong. But really come on. Like that is gonna happen. "Some might say spending all your galleons was enjoying yourself" Dante replied smiling. Or other might say you have a problem with spending money. But that was not something Dante was going to bring up. Oh right she was asking how he was doing.
"Oh just looking to get my brother something. Mainly to make him jealous that im in Sweden and he is not."
It was the truth. Probably not going to matter. But it was fun.

Souvenirs!
He didn't particularly need any for himself, or people in general, but for his brother... he HAD to get something, and get something good. Somehow he figured the parents might have issues with miniature figurines until he was old enough, especially the type that could fly, like, that was a broom-nostril hazard if ever he knew one.
The way he saw it - which was pretty simply - a stuffed toy would be the best option. Unfortunately, they didn't really have any broom-racey stuffed toys, so he was limited to animals. This wasn't a BAD thing per se, but he had hoped for the former. As it was, the dragon toys were fairly cute. He picked one up, inspecting it from every angle for anything the child might put in his mouth and choke on .... ..... the tail was a hazard, and the limbs... but they could all be pulled out easily enough, the parts weren't swallowable in that sense.
However, as well and good as all that was, there was still one test left. The softness test.
Holding the dragon up to his face, Zeke rubbed its fluff against his cheek.

Slipping away from the crowd, Lucas made his way to the Souvenir stand. He couldn't bring Brody with him today but he could certainly take him back something. Tallie as well. He would get her something. But what? He stood beside a girl who no doubt was a Hogwart student as he debated.
"Made up your mind on what you'll be getting?'' Lucas asked her. his eyes surveying the many mini flags. Would Brody like those or the ominoculars? He knew Tallie would like a stuffed dragon. Perhaps he would get two stuffed dragons instead, one more to make Brody's toy collection grow.

She did have quite a few stuffed animals in her arms at the moment.
He wanted to make his brother jealous. Well this was something she could appreciate. "Fair enough. The miniature moving dragon things are kinda cool." Which was why she was going to be getting two of them. One for Koen and one for herself. Might as well spend a little bit of her gallons on herself since she was buying things for everyone else.
Dante's next comment caught her attention and had her tilting her head at him. It better not involve her! She was just fine with ruining things all on her own lately, thank you very much. "Who are you trying to help out this time?" Anyone she knew?

Browsing the souvenirs, contemplating what to buy Leo turned his head to look at Sora at the news that she too had a child; a daughter. Raising a brow he asked curiously. "Really? How old is your daughter?" Unless it was a too private question to ask?
"My son Jackson has just turned 1 years old." It was remarkable how fast time went. Shrugging he said "It's fine, I just thought a necklace would be a nice gift for my wife who used to teach Divination at Hogwarts." Before the Hag. Cassie was a million times a better professor then the hag had ever tried to be. And she did not try to boil any children.
Nodding Leo affirmed. "Yes, this is my first visit to Sweden. It seems like a lovely country. I've never been to Korea. Is it a country worth visiting?"

Olly needed a souvenir. Of course he did. How could he come on this field trip, to a different country, where there were dragons, and not get a souvenir? He wanted one for himself, but he'd also promised his dads he'd get something for them if he could a chance, and of course he was going to send Colin something. So that was three souvenirs. Ellery could get her own.

Dante hated when people were miserable. No fun to be around at all. "Well an army of real dragons would be the goal. But an army of stuffed dragons is not terrible either." Miniature moving dragon. Well now that did sound pretty cool. Well it was either that or a horrible stuffed animal.
So he was going to go with Hady's suggestion. He would find them later. Its not like he was in a rush right now.
"Brooklyn and Hugo. I was thinking of getting him a date with her for his birthday. But his birthday was yesterday. So failure there."
Failure stunk.

It was a good thing he had decided to go with the clean shaven look today, otherwise he was sure his face would look like it lost a fight with cotton wool by the end of this - and that was not a good look on anyone, even him. Zeke wondered too, if maybe he should splurge a bit more and get Maggie a trinket or two... did they have jewellery? He'd investigate soon.
Remarkably, the stuffed dragon was softer than it looked. Zach would most certainly approve, yes.
"It is," he answered a boy that was doing the same. Important toy testing it was, they were practically pros. "I wonder though how much softer if could be with a spare charm or two." COULD it be improved? Like, it was pretty darn soft already.

Brooklyn didn’t particularly care about the broom race. It had been the dragons that had made her sign up to come on the trip, and that meant she knew exactly where she was headed when it came to exploring the souvenir stands. She couldn’t smuggle a baby dragon back to Hogwarts, after all, so that meant she had to find another way of returning with one. Or maybe several. She enjoyed her little rock dragon and the clay one she’d made last term, but she wasn’t so attached that she was against replacing them with something better. If there was something better. She didn’t doubt there was.
Either way, it had meant shaking off her Gryffindor pest, which h thankfully she had managed. She’d wanted to see if Hady was okay, and she obviously couldn’t manage that if she had the reason hanging off her arm. Frankie was annoying under normal circumstances, and what had happened here was just ridiculous. She didn’t know what she’d done to deserve a desperate Gryffindor.
Walking between the stalls, however, she was forced to pause just to the left of the display of miniature dragon models as she saw someone else she was kind of trying to avoid at the moment. It was just unfortunate he was currently talking to Hady, laden down by armfuls of stuffed dragons. She’d just have to pretend to be occupied by whatever it was where she’d stopped. Oh, mini flags. Definitely not what she wanted to look at, so she edged over until she could browse the mini dragons. Maybe she’d look at the stuffed dragons when it was safe, and buy one for her cat.

After spending a lot of time in the dragon petting zoo, Fiyero's next stop was the souvenir stand. Granted, he'd already taken a lot of pictures of the baby dragons, but he wanted some promo from the broom race... that and he needed to find something for his sister.
He stopped by a tent selling ominoculars. Those would really come in handy at the race today - and he wouldn't have to borrow Grandpa's every time they went to a Quidditch match. He did a double take when he saw the price. Ten galleons?! What a rip-off! He sighed, putting the ominoculars he was holding back. What a shame... He could've used those!
He contented himself with a small British flag from one of the other vendors - for a galleon and 15 knuts. What was it with all these jacked-up prices? Did they think he was made of money or something?
Now he just had to find a present for his little sister. Poor Ariel! His mother's last letter said she was having a hard time adjusting to not having him around... maybe a souvenir from the field trip would cheer her up. After wandering around aimlessly for a while, Fiyero caught sight of a dragon plush. Perfect! He handed the vendor the money for the toy. Ariel was going to love this!

The sixteen year old blinked up at him. "Seriously? Does he like her or something?" Cause if Hugo did this was news to her. "And as for his birthday being yesterday that doesn't mean you can't still try this. Might be a good belated present if it works out...just don't go making things awkward on them...awkward is bad." Real bad. She clearly remembered the previous years horrible surprise double date for Valentine's Day.

The divination professor had heard about those people who had filled her position before, but she didn't know that the former one was his wife. Maybe they just recently got married or so? "I guess it's difficult for your wife seeing that the hag was her successor. I think the hag's presence did affect the students' interest about divination class." Divination itself wasn't really a popular class, she admitted that because when she was a student, not many people took it. "But I hope that... they can get over it. I do meet some students who seemed happy to see a real divination professor." She slightly chuckled when she mentioned 'real professor.'
Is Korea worth visiting? "I think it is. My parents are native Korean and I was born there." Sora nodded. Her parents still lived in New York now even though they had retired or so... But it's not easy to leave the Big Apple like what she had done now.

Softer? Olly had been glancing over the rest of the options, but his gaze snapped to the older boy at that. "Do you really know some charms like that?" He asked. Olly himself would have no idea how to do it, but that was unsurprising considering he was only a third year and this boy was...older than that. But maybe if there was a way to make it softer he would be willing to help Olly as well.

Well Dante did not think he disliked Brooklyn plus they talked. So Brooklyn must not dislike him. She would just ignore him if that was the case.
"I think he does and i don't think Brooklyn dislikes him. But that is all i got so far."
But what did he know. He was better at business or gossip advice than romantic advice. That is what he got around to thinking. It was just a shame he could not do it on his birthday. Oh well.
"I think he can make things incredibly awkward on his own without my help"

Repeating Sora's words in his head Leo said out loud. "10 years old, then your daughter is soon old enough to start her magical education. Will she be starting her first year at Hogwarts?" Or was she going to go one of the other magical schools around the world? It might be a bit complicated to teach your own child. It was something that him and Cassie had to discuss 10 years from now too if Leo still worked at Hogwarts when Jackson got his acceptance letter to start his education at Hogwarts.
Nodding he said with a sigh. "Definitely, my wife Cassiopeia worried a lot when I told her about the hag teaching divination to the students. Luckily the hag wasn't here long. I'm sure the student's interest in the subject hasn't been affected. Hogwarts students are quite sturdy. They'll move on and will enjoy being taught by someone who doesn't wish to eat them."
"Maybe one day i'll visit Korea on vacation. Is Korean a hard language to learn?" looking around Leo added. "Sweden seems interesting too don't you think? I'm looking forward to trying some Swedish cuisine later."

"Do you remember a few terms back when we learned how to turn rocks into dragons and make them larger?" she asked after a moments thought. "Now that could work as a nice army." If it worked of course. Who was to say it wasn't at least worth a shot.
Hady couldn't help but laugh quietly for a moment. "Well that right there is something then. Give it a try if you want but if it backfires or something I had nothing to do with it." Nothing. Just making herself clear on that.
"It can't get any worse then what Maggie tried to do for me. That turned out to be awkward." Which is why setting people up on dates was iffy business. Not something she would be likely to do.
