This is a key stepping stone into determining your placement in the Curse Tournament so please take this seriously. A list of spells to use can be found HERE while the cost of physical actions can be found below.
Please note that these actions take away from the Fatigue Points section. Also note that these are only taken into account if you're attacking or avoiding a spell. If you're simply moving around the hall, these points don't need to be considered.

A referee (either Professor Airey or Professor Hirsch) will be present to oversee the duels and will only interfere if the duel ends or any foul play or unsportsmanship-like behaviour is displayed.
OOC: This duel must be completed by the 21st of July by 11:59pm GMT+1/BST. You're required to make a minimum of 3 posts each in that time.

If you don't think you can post during that time or you don't think you can start/finish your duel, please let me know as soon as possible and we'll try and work something out.
Remember to keep a track of your points both in the title of your post (before any spells have been cast) and at the end of the post (after your charrie has cast a spell). Please refer to this post if you're confused as to how this works or, simply, come to me. Include as much information as you can about the spell in the spoiler section at the bottom of your post, including the directionality of the spell.
Also remember to be as realistic as possible with your charrie's age and ability.
First person mentioned in the thread title is the first person to start off the duel.
Dante just needed to know what ticked Henric the Perfect Hufflepuff Head Boy off. He has yet to hear one bad thing about him. Nothing gossip worthy was ever heard about him. His girlfriend yes. But not him. It was honestly impressive. He was going to start with hair since it seemed to effect most people and looked hilarious. Which he learned from one Alice Odessa.
Excellent Role Model she is.
"I hope that badge protects you"
Dante said grinning. He ALWAYS needed first word. And who knows if he is wearing it.
Henric wasn't surprised he had to duel with another sixth year again and it was none other than Dante Barrington. Would it be an easy win again? No? Yes? Honestly, Henric had no idea. He knew himself that he wasn't as aggressive or bloodthirsty like some of the duellers he encountered this term. Would it make any difference if he was? He wasn't going to ignore the prospect of losing though, he was determined to reach the top.
He raised an eyebrow at Barrington. The Slytherin must have been aiming for his headboy badge all this while, why else would he mention it? Dante as Headboy next term? No way. Besides, it wasn't as if he was wearing the badge on his duelling uniform. "I don't need a badge to protect me, I think it is you that needs the protection." He shrugged, giving his signature smile back.
"Protego!" Easily deflected back at Barrington. "Nice try, but I expected that." Not long ago, a certain hot-headed Candice Messer managed to cast that spell on him. He was careful not to fall victim again! Henric smirked and cast the Feather-light charm on himself. Hopefully, this would increase his mobility.

So he expected that....huh that was mean his hair is important. What is it with guys and hair. Well Zeke did not care as much. Two other did and well that is a start of trend. Dante did not give two knuts about his hair and did not mind being bald. Freeing it would be. Not going to lie he probably will need protection but that is why Hirsch is here.

Dante rolled his eyes and side-stepped out of the way of his own spell. Is that the best he got.
Uh Dante was not being serious there. All it seemed like now was Henric casting something on himself and well. Okay. Dante had to find out what he did so.

Lets see what he does and since he really thought Henric will doged that one right after it he sent a welcoming

Of course, it wasn't one of his best offensive techniques. It was just too bad, it missed the Slytherin. Darn...Dante was quick in his movements. Oh well, they just getting started. There was more to come, Barrington. He wasn't going to run anywhere.
Henric side-stepped from the first attack but wasn't quick enough to avoid the second one. He was hit by the spell! Oh no...he felt his precious hair changing again. The next thing he knew he had antlers growing on top of his head! He gasped when he reached up to feel them. Angered, he lifted his wand back at Barrington in retaliation. He wasn't going to let this go!
Narrowing his eyes, he cast the Ears to Kumquats spell directly at the Slytherin. And another,"DESCENDO!" Hoping any one of each would hit him squarely.

See that was a much better look for the Head Boy. Which Dante knew did not have his badge on him. But he still had it somewhere. He looked positively hilarious with antlers for hair. Dante grinned but did not burst out laughing since he had seen it before.
It was still amusing to see a mad hufflepuff with antlers point a wand at you. Not something you will forget

Stupid spell. Forcing Dante onto the ground. He liked laying down but not forced to. Dante immediately sent the Sardine Hex at him then a wonderful "Silencio"
Hopefully Henric will be quiet.

Was it just him or was there a lot of backchat going on in this duel? He'd expected it because Dante Barrington was taking part in this duel: sass was to be expected. But this has ricocheted into new levels and, frankly, it made the man slightly more excited for the duel. It also made him wonder if there was a level of enmity between the two.
But there was no time to think about that because the duel was well and truly underway, complete with hair loss spells and descending spells. Amused, he was. Very amused.
And don't worry, Dante, you can count on Hirschy.
Ah, there it was. The time to stop this. All too soon, the barrier had gone up and the spells were obsolete. "Well done, boys, well done to both of you." Really. "I have to say, that was quite an interesting duel. But there can only be one winner and you, Mr Nicolei, have taken the lead this time round. Close call, Dante." And they were free to go. Unless they had some pent up aggression to take care of first.
