Dante never been here before but he had hear the there was a secret passage behind the mirror. But he had also heard that it was broken or whatever. It just could not be used. It was a beautiful mirror. But why was there stuff reflected in it it that was not in the room. He had wanted to get a quiet place to read his transfig book. Since you know it was his favorite subject. But now he was growing more interested in the mirror.

It was a pretty cool trick the mirror was pulling. Some might even call it a magic trick. Hehe and now Dante wanted to study the mirror.

Why was there handsome chandeliers, elegant landscape oil paintings, and golden draperies in the painting. When this room was completely barren of anything but Dante.

Interesting.

A patrol through the corridors to catch rule breakers was definitely one of his favourite things to do. Not to actually get involved with trouble makers but this way he could explore the castle without anyone asking why he was somewhere and what he was doing. Yes, this badge was definitely worth it.

This time, he found himself on the fourth floor. He knew he had been here before while going to the library but he had never taken the turn to the other side and his curiosity got the better of him as he walked on. It didn't take long before he saw a guy looking at some kind of mirror. Frowning a little, the Head Boy moved closer. "What are you doing here?" he asked as he looked from the Slytherin to the mirror and it was then that he saw what it reflected.

He looked behind him, nothing in the corridor was what was in the mirror. It looked elegant yet frightened him. "If that isn't a portal to another dimension then i don't know what is" he laughed.

HOLY MERLIN, Dante did not hear this guy come in. You would think he would have since it was only him and the mirror but nope. Maybe he should not get so distracted. He would file that away for the future. "It's not curfew yet and it is pretty obvious what i am doing" Dante said seeing as it was the Head Boy. So this was Zander's successor or something like that. And another gryfindor.

Well Dante did like messing with Lions. Let's see if he was as gullible as Zander or as easy to get favor's out of.

"Probably is, I dare you to touch the mirror Head Boy"

Rather him than Dante if it really was a portal to another dimension.

Yoongi grinned a little bit when he realized he had startled the Slytherin a bit. It hadn't been his intention but it was fun every now and then hehe. This guy though, he had quite some nerve talking to the Head Boy like that. The Gryffindor let it slide though but did raise his eyebrow and looked sideways at him. He knew him from lessons but that was it. "You're Dante right?" he asked, ignoring his rude words.

"Touch the mirror?" he repeated as he looked back at it and scratched his non-existing beard. He moved forwards and brought a finger closer, ready to touch it. It hovered in front of the mirror a few centimeters before he drew it back. "You really think i'm an idiot?" he laughed. "Why don't you try?"

Well another surprise, the Head Boy knew his name. He did not know if he should feel honored or scared that his name is well known enough for the Head Boy to know it. Oh well just something to think about when bored. "I am, Head Boy Yoongi" Ah well he expected this. Him to ask why. But the question he did ask. Did he really want Dante to answer because he probably would not like it.

"Do you really want me to answer that?"

Now he was just being childish and asking if Dante would want to touch it. He obviously did not want to touch it fist. That is why he asked Head Boy to. It was really that simple.

"I would rather have say The Head Boy touch it just to be sure it is safe before just a regular old student like me even attempts to."

Sounded Fair to Dante.

Yoongi watched the mirror as Dante spoke again and he sighed heavily at what he said "It's superior Head Boy Yoongi" he said before he laughed a bit. "Just kidding but if you want to call me that go ahead" he grinned.

He moved closer to the mirror again, trying to see his own reflection but all he saw was the strange room. Too bad though, he hadn't seen his own relflection in over ten minutes and he had forgotten his own mirror. What? He had to look even better now he was the face of the school. Perfect reason right?

As Dante spoke again, he turned around. Did he really want to know the answer to that? He crossed his arms over each other, looking like he was challenging him. "I do in fact want to know, go on" he wasn't sure if he really wanted to hear it though...

"hmm true i wouldn't want an...regular student...to get in trouble." he sighed again. "But i wouldn't want to touch it either so lets say that neither of us do" fair enough right?

Just what this school needed is a Head Boy with a high opinion of himself. A little Big Headed there Head Boy. But he was kidding so we will leave it at that. Plus Dante would only call him what he wanted. Which in this case was Head Boy or just Yoongi. At least Dante knew his name. Oh, Yoongi. You brave gryffindor. You already know the answer so why did you ask that. Dante was not going to lie. So Dante stared at him for a minute and just shrugged. You asked for this Superior Head Boy. Dante nodded.

"I do its nothing personal. My mind can always be changed. But the last gryffindor Head Boy did not do much to help the idea of the Head Boy being someone smart and someone to respect."

Even though Dante did like Zander. He was fun to be around. AND talk about no being a gryffindor. Here Dante thought Gryffindors liked to do things. Not too many questions asked. Not back out like a slytherin would do. Sigh. Now Dante had to come up with an idea. Since a stand off was not something he wanted to do. Oh right he had some candy in his pocket. Dante took out a piece and threw it at the mirror and well it just bounced off.

"Well.......that was anti-climatic"

Yoongi waited for Dante to answer and leaned against the wall with his arms still folded over each other as he did so. Was he really going to answer truthfully? He had a feeling he was going to and the Gryffindor had asked for it. So no matter what he said he promised not to get offended or angry. Which would be really weird because he rarely got angry. Like…only two times in his life had that happened…

His answer however, took him by surprise. “Who said a leader is supposed to be smart?” he asked. He did agree that it had to be someone who was respected but you can’t get that, you have to earn it in his opinion. “In my opinion, a leader, Especially the Head Boy or Girl is supposed to be someone who’s willing to listen, to help solve problems and help out whoever needs help no matter who they are.” he said. “And the last Head Boy qualified for all of those in my opinion” he smiled.

He watched as the Slytherin took out a piece of candy from his pocket and threw it at the mirror. For a second, he thought the candy would be sucked in the mirror itself but then it simply bounced off and he laughed. “That really was!” he continued to laugh as he stepped forward to examine the mirror again. “Maybe…its charmed some way” he muttered and then took out his wand and tapped it at the mirror. “SpeRevelio!” ...he ...didn't think that that was going to work though... mweh.

Guess he had a point a Leader did not have to be smart. Though the dumb ones usually die a lot quicker than the smart ones. But yeah you win there Head Boy."I will give you that Zander tried. And well i would like my leaders to be smart. But i guess you are right. Though at least you have something on the Zander. You did not take orders from me and Cutty or give out favors to slytherins" So good job Yoongi you deserve a cookie. But too bad Dante did not have any. All he had left as ton tongue toffee. Which he would totally give Yoongi if he wanted any for a price of course.

Huh seemed like the candy did nothing and Yoongi's spell did nothing. Well now this mirror was just being stubborn. So no secret spells on it that a seventh year's wand could detect. Well it could still be advanced magic. Probably. Dante sighed this mirror was a mystery.

"Hypothetically, if you were to see me try and break it. Would you have to report me"

Hypothetically speaking, of course

Well, if he prefered a smart leader than that was okay. Too bad Yoongi wasn't smart. Not book smart at least... He raised his eyebrow again at what Dante told him about Zander. Was that why Cutty had sat on his lap during the end of term feast last year? Because he had been taking orders instead of giving them? it made him sigh loudly however that most people did not get why Zander might have done favors for the Slytherins. "First of i don't take orders from anyone except the staff, second, don't you think that Zander favored your House because he felt bad? I mean, it was a Slytherin who had died a few years ago right?" Greg something, he hadn't been here at that time... "Maybe he felt like he needed to do something?" he wasnt sure though but he knew that that was how he would work.

Yoongi laughed at what Dante said and he looked at the mirror as well. "Hypothetically i do need to report you....if i saw it happening..." He bit his lower lip for a second, thinking about turning around and leaving because he too was curious to know if he could break it. But then he sighed, looking almost dissapointedly at his badge. "Sorry, i can't let you do that, its still school property and i try to take my job seriously" aww man, stupid badge! "You'll be on the top of the list of suspects if the mirror does break at some point" so no point trying it now. "So my advice? Wait till next year cause i'll be gone then" he grinned.

Look at this Zander. He was defending you. You should be proud. Not everyday their is someone besides your girlfriend defending you. Dante bet he did care orders from someone who was not staff. They always did. Family, love one, girlfriend, boyfriend. He did not judge that much. Well Dante had mostly got about the slytherin dying out in the forest. Mostly because the kid should have known better.

"Nah, he is just that gullible"

You could ask Dante, Maggie, Cutty. Or anyone really. Still Dante liked Zander so it was all good. And come on he said hypothetically. He did not say he would break it and that information was good to know."Relax i'm not going to break it." And wait till the next Head Boy had to deal with it. Nah Dante could not do that. Watch it will be Henric, Dima, or Kyroh. Then he would be to guilty to do anything. Well maybe not Henric. But Dima and Kyroh yeah. And well he was honored that he would be a top suspect. Means you have made an impression.

"Nah could not do it next year. I will probably know the Head Boy next if my luck holds."

Noelle had been venturing around the castle whenever she got restless or too much on her mind. One could only stay outside for so long before you needed to come in due to the shock of the cold.

She headed down to the fourth floor corridor, heading down from her common room. She passed by a mirror that.... Was weird. Noelle paused when she had passed it and back tracked. That mirror showed... What?

Noelle looked into the mirror at the furniture and chandelier in there. Then took a look behind her. Totally opposite. She blinked a few times. Magic shouldn't surprise her but it did. There was always something new and exciting.

Noelle kept her gaze on the mirror. She had to show it to Sabbie. Taking out a quill and parchment she scribbled a note saying for him to come to the fourth floor. She folded it and sent it flying as a bird up to his dorm. Hopefully he would be there to get it.

Hope had been exploring the castle as usual when she saw a familiar figure in front of a mirror. A huge smile spread across Hope''s face.

Hope ran towards her waving but slowed as she hot nearer. She knew her cousin was different since.. Hope gave her a smile. "Hey cuz. How are you doing? Are you getting settled in?"

Kitty had been lurking in the fourth floor corridor by the mirror for the past several minutes. The sun was shining in through the windows in such a way that it cast a long dark shadow on the left side of the corridor - an that dark shadow was perfect camouflage for Kitty in her Gothic robes and black hair.

Why was she here? It all had to do with solving the mystery of the Tapestry on this same floor. If indeed there had been a secret corridor behind it (and her newspaper clippings said that there were) then who knew if there were other entrances to that same corridor? Not until she had tapped every brick, peered behind every mirror, and talk to every portrait would she be content. Such was her curiosity.

Seeing two Gryffindor's approach the mirror and talk to each other, Kitty decided to leave the shadows and say hi. She had been alone exploring for a long time now, and she was beginning to feel lonely. And so the Gothic girl stepped out of the shadows and approached them. Her long black hair, clothes, and nails contrasted with her pale make up and green eyes.

"Hello" she said, looking from one to the other - her hands crossed in front of her body. "It's a rather interesting mirror isn't it?"

Sabbath had been sitting cross-legged on his bed in his dorm, sorting through a collection of muggle photographs from home when an amazing and beautiful thing happened, a small white bird made entirely of paper flittered in through the window. He reached out his hand and it alighted there before ceasing its flight. He examined it, opening out the paper and recognised the handwriting immediately. He smiled to himself, magic never ceased to amaze him. He read the words, hearing the voice of Noelle, it's author, in his mind.

Stashing the paper in his side drawer, he slipped on his shoes and headed out of the dorm, making short work of arriving at his destination, the fourth floor corridor. Up ahead he could see the unmistakable form of Noelle, talking to another girl, who he, as he got closer, recognised as Noelle's younger cousin Hope.

"Hey, you two", he called ahead with a grin, "A little bird told me you'd be here!" As he reached them, he bent down a little to kiss his hello's to Noelle, one cheek then the other. Before doing the same to Hope "Hi Hope, are you keeping Nells company? Oh wait..." He gave her an extra kiss... "That one's from José. He said when I saw you next, I must give a little kiss from him". He chuckled. "So, what's going on?"

"Ayyy!" Sabbath was startled by the presence of another girl that he hadn't even spotted before. She did seem to meld with the darkness of the corridor. "Oh Sorry, I didn't see you there. Are you a friend of Noelle and Hope?" Realising that his fright was a rather poor introduction, he tried to make amends, by flashing her a warm smile. "Hi, I'm Sabbath. He offered the same greeting to the girl's new friend, a kiss on one cheek then the other.

Expecting to hear Sabbie's voice come from by her, she was extremely shocked when her cousin Hope's voice filled the space to her right. Noelle jumped and appreciated very much the caution Hope used when approaching her. She smiled warmly at her and gave her a quick hug. "Hey Hope. What are you up to?" She asked.

Before she could even pull apart from Hope, a voice she had been expecting came from behind her. She jumped again, even though she's been expecting it. "Sabbie." Noelle said simply and smiled when he gave her his usual greeting.

Once again, another voice came out of the darkness and Noelle jumped the same time that Sabbir had. She wished she skidishness would go away soon. Her nerves couldn't handle it. Especially with people happy to see her and being nice, and bombarding her with hugs, and she reacts so badly to it.

A deep breath calmed her and she offered a small wave and a smile to the girl. "Its interesting. I wonder what's behind it." Noelle stated, peering at the mirror again.

Hope was trying to be cautious when she was walking up to noelle. It had worked. It seemed noelle had calmed down enough to talk to her. Hope knew Noelle's situation. She didn't exactly know the feeling, but she knew that for a while Noelle would need a little TLC. She smiled and hugged her cousin. "I'm good. How are you? What's up with the mirror?". Hope gestured towards the mirror seeing the reflection of her and Noelle.

As they were talking a figure came out of the shadows. The girl had startled Hope so she knew Noelle was frightened. But not wanting to upset no one, Hope gave the girl a smile. "Hi, I'm Hope and this is my older cousin Noelle. Do you know anything special about this mirror?" She turned back to the mirror, this time it reflected the 3 girls.

Then Sabbie showed up. Hope was so glad to see Sabbath. She had missed him as well. When he was done with his greetings, she gave him a hug. Not wanting Noelle to freak, Hope stepped back. "Sabbie I missed you! How are you doing? And tell José thanks for me please?" She blushed when she thought of José.

Kitty hadn't been expecting to alarm everyone by coming out of the shadows, but it seemed like she had. Perhaps it had something to do with her attire and her paleness.

"Hello Hope. Hello Noelle. Hey Sabbath. Sorry if I frightened you, I didn't mean to." Their names sounded familiar but she didn't know from where. "It's nice to meet you guys. My name is Kitty DuGray Valentine but you can call me Kitty for short." She extended her pale hand to both of the girls and to Sabbath.

"Sadly I don't know anything about this mirror" she said in answer to Hope's question. "But I have been studying the Tapestry not very far from here and I learned a lot of interesting and scary things about its past. Perhaps in some way it is connected to this mirror. I was investigating it."

GAA!! Kitty's eyes widened in surprise as Sabbath kissed her on one cheek and then the other. That was the first time she has ever been kissed by someone that was not her mother. It was flattering and awkward at the same time. Kitty was glad that her skin was so pale, because otherwise her embarrassment would have shown clearly. "Wow thank you Sabbath" she said, trying hide her embarrassment. She awkwardly kissed him on the forehead in response.

Sabbath...Noelle.... Kitty's eyes widened as she remembered why those names had sounded familiar. They were the ones the Daily Prophet has said were captured. "I've seen you around the castle before Hope" she said, turning to Hope. "But I haven't seen you guys around, and that's strange because you are my housemate." She said the last part to Sabbath. So she didn't outright say that she knew who they were, but she left the conversation open for them to volunteer the information if they wanted.

“De nada" Sabbath replied to Kitty's thanks, in Spanish and with a bemused smile. He would never be one to complain about receiving kisses from girls, but a kiss on the forehead was unexpected... he shrugged it off figuring that it must be the custom of the new girl's home country. From the look of her smooth porcelain skin, he figured it must be somewhere where they didn't get much sun.



“Thanks Hope, I missed you, too” he said, giving her shoulder a friendly squeeze. “I’m doing a lot better, since my grandmother’s cooking has fattened me up” he chuckled and made an exaggerated rub of his non-existent tummy paunch. “But no, really, I’m doing fine, I’ve even restarted flamenco training”. He gave her a warm smile, because he was touched by her concern. Amused by her blush, he also promised to pass on her message to José.

His attention started to drift as the girls started chittering on about mirrors and tapestries and the like. Home decor and even castle decor was not really his bag and his thoughts had wandered off to dinner, mmmmm.

“Huh” Sabbath’s attention snapped back to the present. He'd realised Kitty was asking him a question as he caught the end of her words … ‘haven’t seen you guys around, and that’s strange because you are my housemate’. She was looking at him for a reply.

Sabbath, glanced at Noelle, he didn’t know how she felt, but he wasn’t a big sharer of personal info, especially to someone he'd only just met, no matter how lovely she seemed. He flashed his dimpled smile, and replied, “Well, I don’t know, maybe you just haven’t noticed me around the tower, I have one of those everyday kind of faces”. He'd let Noelle tell the real story, if she so wished.

Noelle never was one to judge on a persons appearance. Her mother had taught her that. But she did look at Kitty with curiousity. She decided she liked her outfit after a bit. Noelle stayed close to Hope as she asked about the mirror. Her arm rested on her cousins arm, almost as if she needed it to calm her. Which lately, her anxiety had been up a little. People seemed to be scaring her left and right, and she'd pulled her wand out at Henric on accident.

Noelle watched the encounter with Kitty and Sabbie with mild amusement. The girl seemed a bit smitten by Sabbie's approach to kissing her cheeks. She gave a smal grin as Kitty kissed his forehead. She covered her mouth with her hand and giggled. Maybe that was customary where she lived, Noelle didn't know.

The tapestry? Noelle hadn't noticed the tapestry yet. But this mirror was reflecting something that wasn't there. While the others talked about .. Kitty not seeing them around.. Noelle put her fingers behind the mirror frame looking for a way to pull it from the wall.

Her mind wasn't on the conversation but curiousity had gotten the best of her. She pulled harder when the mirror didn't budge. The mirror came forward a bit and Noelle swung it out. She looked curiously to what was behind it.

Maybe she was wrong in guessing that Sabbath and Noelle were the two students that had gone missing - or maybe they just didn't want to talk about it. Kitty could understand that and she didn't want to make them uncomfortable, but at the same time she was by nature very curious and wanted to know.

"Oh okay," Kitty responded with a small frown. "I'm surprised that I didn't recognize you since I spend a lot of time in the tower." Come to think of it she hadn't seem him in class either, though that might have been a little harder to spot. "I'm just curious, do you like Transfiguration? What kind of familiar did you create in the last lesson?"

Then a sound to her right distracted her. Turning she saw Noelle pulling open the mirror. "GAA!!" Kitty gasped in delight. "I didn't know it could move!" She moved over to see what was behind the mirror.

Hope was trying to keep up with the conversation. She listened to the interactions between Sabbie and Kitty. She knew the story behind what had happened with Sabbath and Noelle, but it wasn't something she was about to tell people. And she certainly wasn't going to make Sabbath and Noelle rehash those awful events. She just looked between Sabbath and Kitty. Hope wasn't a social butterfly so at times she was kinda awkward.

She felt her cousins arm resting on her and she loved it. She had missed her cousin so much. She hadn't wanted to leave her alone for a minute when they were back, but she knew her cousin needed her space and time. She saw Noelle looking behind the mirror, and peeked behind it as well. When it moved Hope gasped. Merlin! A secret tunnel? So cool!! She thought to herself.

"Do you guys want to check out where that goes?" She looked back at Sabbath, Noelle and Kitty, looking for an answer.

Sabbath chuckled, here was an inquisitive one! But, he did appreciate people that could put two and two together quickly. Still grinning, he replied "Ahh, well anyone can tell you, I'm not the best at turning up to all my classes," he gave Kitty a grin and a mischievious wink.

He glanced over and wondered why Noelle was now ferretting around with the mirror on the wall.



His interest in the mirror finally sparked when he saw Nells dislodge and move it away from the wall. What was she up to? He came over and curled his fingers under the frame to to help tilt it out for a better investigation. He peered behind it - the girls had been right! There was definitely something peculiar about this mirror.

"Pfft" Sabbath replied to Hope with a puff, a particularly Spanish mannerism when something was obvious."Of course, I want know where it goes." He didn't want to let on, that he thought tunnel was kind of dark and creepy. He wondered whether Nells would show equal bravado. He knew better than anyone why enclosed spaces were definitely not her thing. He stepped close to her so they were shoulder to shoulder as she peered in, "Nells?" he enquired quietly. He didn't need to ask the full question. He could almost read her thoughts, they were his too.

The mirror had come off the wall and Noelle put it down on the ground. It was kinda heavy for a mirror, but then again, not all of Noelle's strength had come back and she still wasn't up to eating a whole lot. That was probably the case.

Noelle barely registered what the others were saying as she glimpsed into the dark space. Her breath caught in her throat and it felt like time stood still for a moment. She wasn't at Hogwarts anymore. She was stuck in the dark clammy dungeon again.

It took a hand on her shoulder to bring her back to reality. Noelle jumped until she realized it was only Sabbie and he was looking at her like he could already read her mind. Noelle looked past him to the two girls. One her cousin, who she knew would follow her into anything. And the other, seeming to be a very inquisitive girl. She didn't want to let them down.

Noelle had never missed out on an adventure. Ever. Clenching her jaw, she forced her a smile and lit her wand. "Ill go first." She stated in what she hoped was a brave voice. She turned back to the hole and hoisted herself up into it, her wand leading the way.
