Welcome to your third and final duel!
This is a key stepping stone into determining your placement in the Jinx Tournament so please take this seriously. A list of spells to use can be found HERE while the cost of physical actions can be found below.
Please note that these actions take away from the Fatigue Points section. Also note that these are only taken into account if you're attacking or avoiding a spell. If you're simply moving around the hall, these points don't need to be considered.

A referee (either Professor Airey or Professor Hirsch) will be present to oversee the duels and will only interfere if the duel ends or any foul play or unsportsmanship-like behaviour is displayed.
Please remember to adhere to the Dueling Club rules, the DADA rules as well as the SS Site rules.

OOC: This duel must be completed by the 26th of March by 11:59pm GMT. You're required to make a minimum of 3 posts each in that time.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate in contacting me about them or posting them in the Dueling Club Rules thread. If you don't think you can post during that time or you don't think you can start/finish your duel, please let me know as soon as possible and we'll try and work something out.
Remember to keep a track of your points both in the title of your post (before any spells have been cast) and at the end of the post (after your charrie has cast a spell). Please refer to this post if you're confused as to how this works or, simply, come to me. Include as much information as you can about the spell in the spoiler section at the bottom of your post, including the directionality of the spell.
Also remember to be as realistic as possible with your charrie's age and ability.
First person mentioned in the thread title is the first person to start off the duel.

Katerina's third duel, so far she was coming in undefeated. That was a big confidence booster for the little Hufflepuff. Dueling a friend and her cousin, and another friend but this was one of her close best friends, Cornelius. Curly, she was going to have to duel Curly. She could do it though. She could. But there was no way she would ever hurt him. She wanted to win she did. She liked the feeling. People should blame her Slytherin mom and Gryffindor dad for having such a competitive Hufflepuff. Yep. "Good luck, Curly!" She squeaked taking her place on her side of the dueling area. She let out a sigh before raising her wand. Was she going to go easy on him? Yes, at first she was. "Expelliarmus!" Sending the spell toward Corny. Ugh she hated being the one to start the duel. She was glad though that this was the first time she had too.
Please don't hurt him. Please don't hurt him.

Cornelius thought they were buddies. Y'know, Hirsch not messing with his game and whatnot. But NO. He HAD to pair up Cornelius with Katerina. In any other occasion, sure, he wouldn't have minded. In a duel? How was he supposed to want to end little, pretty Katerina. It was against friendship code. Dueling Jaemin had been fun because they were boys. Guys fight and make their ancestors proud. Then there was his first duel with delicate Azura. Cornelius had had to actually seek out older student advice on how to make things better with her. Still, it hadn't been so bad.
Now...Katerina.
The tip of his fingers were cold and his heart thumped quickly against his rib cage. Thump-thump-thump! He smiled his signature dazzling smile his dad taught him as he entered the arena, not letting it be known that he was nervous as heck. HIRSCH, REALLY???????????????????
"Hi, Miss Katty!Kat!" The curly haired boy waved, smiling what was closest to a genuine smile. That was one of his best friends right therrrrre. He was mid bow when said best friend SHOT at him. Green eyes went wide; instincts flicking on like a light switch. Before he fully thought of the situation he produce a shield.
"Wooooow!" He wondered amazed, followed by, "Orchideous!"
Flowers!
DON'T HATE HIM.

Oh no Cornelius wasn't ready and she'd already sent a spell to try to disarm him. She covered her eyes with her hand and squeaked. She didn't mean too. She DIDN'T MEAN TOO. She slid her fingers apart to see the outcome. Yes! He got up a shield just in time.
She barely had time to see that he had only shielded hisself and see his move. Flowers? He really knew how distract her. She put a shield. Silly Curly, it was no time to be giving her flowers. Maybe after the duel. Lately Kat had gotten completely ruthless in duels. She like couldn't bring herself to do so this time. Bubbles. She cast the bubble producing spell. Maybe the bubbles would slow him down. There was a chance the both could win with a tie right?
Here, Cornelius. Take some bubble power!

Was it just him or did Cornelius seem a bit nervous?
See, it was inevitable. The two had both won their previous sets of duels and were bound to face one another to determine their place but Hirsch couldn't help but feel a bit......... worried? He kept a close eye on the boy and wasn't even unfazed at the flowery spell. He'd seen worse in the world of flirting when it came to duels.
And then the time was up.
Conjuring up the magical shield, the man stepped out from the shadows and made his way over to the two. "Good fight, Miss Delgado, Mr Baltazer. Very well done." Shame it had to get cut short. "And while you put up a good fight, Cornelius," He gave the kid a pat on the back. "Miss Delgado has taken the lead in this duel. Congratulations!" Smile.
Now they can go and not have to worry about dueling for the rest of the school year.
