Adi had heard about it... there was actually a music room out on the Grounds so naturally he HAD to check it out for himself. He had brought his acoustic guitar with him and had intentions of playing music for himself and the plants. He hadn't actually met Myers as yet but when he did, he would have to make sure he told him what a brilliant idea this was.

"HELLLLLOOOOO, ALL YOU BUNDLES OF GREENERY!'' Hehe. "I've got the music to liven up your day!'' Yep, a few of those plants in here looked like they could do with some livening up because his bespectacled eyes spotted a few depressing looking ones. Adi would offer it some water in a few minutes but first... lights, camera, MUSIC!

He strummed his guitar and began playing Linkin Park's Shadow of the Day. A bit of a mellower tune to start off with.

Paul had had his tea, relaxed, read the morning Prophet, and was now...ready to come out and check on his little fellows. Poor, poor plants. He'd taken inventory of all the Greenhouses...and...much to his dismay, due to some of the carnage from last term with the spiders....apparently, in one of the Greenhouses, too--he had some...sick plants. And then, he'd brought some of his own plants from the estate. He wouldn't be home most of the year so...no point in leaving behind a lot of his plants.

Though, Milton said he'd hire someone to take care of the vast greenhouse he'd left behind. Good man, Milton was. Good soul mate.

He didn't expect anyone to be in here. He had his watering can all ready, and he was about to start water the dry and wilting plants when...he heard the most unique song EVER. How INTERESTING. Someone was already using this Greenhouse like he'd wanted it to be used!

He peeked around an enormous shrub and smiled as he watched this student play his guitar. A melancholy song, but...it was music.

When the song was done, Paul clapped and stepped forward. "Very good! I loved it!" and he DID. He was smiling from ear to ear. "I bet the plants enjoyed it, too--I think some of them even perked up already!"

He was so excited that he was bouncing!

About halfway through the song, Adi felt the need for lyrics. Now, he was very comfortable with his singing voice, if he did say so himself. Practice made perfect and perfect his voice was! So full of himself sometimes, says is RPer Plus, he bet the plants would love more than just the melody of the guitar.

He was just finishing up the song when clapping happened. Whut?! Did the plants know how to applaud? HA! As if. Adi spun around to see the new Herbology Professor. He hadn't even heard him come in. Grinning, he held his guitar out to his side and gave a bow. "Thank you, thank you! I hope they did.'' Ooh! Did they now? "I think they just might have.''

Still grinning, the seventh year turned back to the man. "Awesome idea you've had, Professor. Music can fix practically anything.'' It was your one true friend and it NEVER left you no matter what. "Do you play any instruments?'' Surely he must.

Wanting to check out the plants that Hogwarts had to offer, Paulina was wandering around the greenhouses to see which ones she was allowed access in. So long as she didn't try to open any locked doors, it would be okay...right?

The unmistakable sound of music suddenly drifted in the air.

Someone was playing a guitar nearby, but where? Paulina wanted to see because she loved listening to music even if she wasn't the best at playing it. The piano and flute were the extent of her abilities.

Peeking through an open greenhouse door, she found the source of the sound. Watching Adi play she wanted to applaud him, but decided to wait until he was done before she proceeded to do so. Otherwise it would have been plain rude. Stepping inside, she made her way over to him and who she could only assume was the Herbology professor. "Hello."

Paul was stepping forward even more so, still widening his eyes with an impressed look at this young man. "Well...music soothes the soul, I always say. At least, the music I like does..." he leaned over to water a droopy plant. Poor little guy...he was newly repotted...and he wasn't doing so well. Umbrella Plants could be so tricky, sometimes, when they needed to be repotted.

"Ahh...yes..I do--" he checked the underbelly of the Umbrella part of the plant to see if the yellowing spots had gone away yet. "I play the banjo!" he chuckled. "It's soothing."

Oh! Paul bounced around, hearing that tiny voice, and BEAMED. "Hi there!" he waved with the hand holding the watering can, getting water all over his feet--OOPS? but he was excited! "Welcome welcome!"

Music soothes the soul... Myers was turning out to be AWESOME! "You're right on point, Professor! It does! It always helps when I'm feeling overwhelmed...'' like during exam time... ''and... well, it helps with everything in general.'' Ah, music. He loved thee so much.

Oh, right! He was also here to help take care of the plants! Leaving his guitar slung across him, he followed Myers around, using his wand to snip and cut away those dead, brown leaves and foliage. "You do? That's cool! Were you ever in a band? Do you have the banjo stashed around in here? I would love to hear you play. Paulina, too, I'm sure.'' For he had just noticed and heard his new friend. "Hello, Polly.'' Adi shot her a grin.

HAHA! Myers and the water. He was just funny!

One of the first things Jet wanted to do when she learned there was yet another new Herbology professor was to go down and see what he had done different. She wanted to see what was the something new he brought and so she made her way down to the greenhouses before her first lesson.

Arriving there, she was surprised and more than happy to notice a kind of music room. Music and plants always went hand in hand in her opinion and she was glad the new man had the same opinion. The fifth year calmly made her way into the therapy room and looked around.

As the man turned to greet her, it was hard for Paulina not to laugh at the water getting all over his feet. Blushing as a giggle escaped, she hoped that he wouldn't mind though it did seem that he was in a good mood.

Thank merlin he wasn't like the grumpy and scary Potions Master!

"You are the Herbology professor, right? It's my favourite subject!" So she was really excited for his classes and to be able to work in the greenhouses. "I really love what you did with this place..." By which she meant turning the greenhouse into a musical therapy room. Plants benefited from music just as much as people did.

"How are you, Adi?" she asked her friend politely before turning her attention to a girl who had just arrived. She sent her a shy smile. It seemed that more and more people were discovering this awesome place. "Oh, yeah! I love to hear music," she added as she heard her name being mentioned.

Paul couldn't agree more with Adi. "I..am currently IN a band. We call ourselves...Bleugrasse." He grinned. "I play the banjo in it..." he blushed a LOT. "Would you REALLY want to hear me play, then?" he asked. He didn't know why, but he was a little nervous performing front of the students...even though he'd totally performed in front of a crowd with his band. "Paulina.....?" he forgot her surname O_O.

What a greaaaaat professor he'd be.

"Well, thanks...I thought it was important students have a safe place like this...peaceful, relaxing, and tranquil." He grinned. "Do you play anything, m'dear?" He was curious as to how many of his students actually had a musical talent. And Merlin...she DID want to hear him play--should he go get his banjo from his office?! Ugh.

...and another student! Paul waved and smiled at this one, too. "Hi there! Come to join our little party, apparently?!" It was an impromptu one, but nonetheless, it was making Paul's little heart soar. He felt so...ugh. These people were all so great--he wanted to hug them all and tell them how important they were, how they'd all grow up to be wonderful people--but alas, that might be a bit much, since he was still..new...and didn't know them well.

He'd wait, he'd wait.

Noticing there were a few people already in there, Jet gave them a a small smile and walked further in. "Sure." She answer their new Herbology professor. They all seemed to enjoy music and plants, so they made into Jet's good books.

She slowly walked towards the people, carefully looking at all the plants around her and checking how healthy they looked. When the Hufflepuff prefect told the professor he would love to hear him play, Jet looked back up in their direction, giving the older man a curious yet approving look. She closed the distance between them and once again gave them all a small smile. The professor looked so happy it made Jet smile a little bit bigger.

So they all played instruments?

WOAH! Myers just kept on getting more awesome in Adi's mind! "I like that name. Is that the type of music you guys play? If so, I've listened to bluegrass music, Professor! I like the upbeat sounds.'' He did a sort of dance by doing a few headbangs and weird jumping around. Hehe. So goofy he was. Ali's precious baby

"I sure would like to! Maybe if you don't mind, after I pick up on the tune, I could join in?'' Wouldn't this Greenhouse be filled with happy and cheery plants! "See, Professor? Even Polly wants to hear you play!'' Come on, Myers! Don't be shy!

"I'm great, Polly! Yeah, do you play anything?'' If she did, she could run back to the dorm to get her instrument if she brought it along to Hogwarts. Or Summon it. Yep, Summoning was better. Looky! Another student had joined them. The more the merrier! "Can you play anything, too?'' Adi asked the girl. If she did, Myers might be getting a new band. Hehe.

Paulina was liking this Professor so far, and that was a good thing since he taught her beloved Herbology. It would be pretty awful to be stuck with a horrible teacher, but so far they were turning out to be pretty nice on the most part.

"I really want to hear you play!" she seconded Adi. The girl who had just arrived probably wanted to hear him play too. Maybe they could have a little concert for the plants - so long as she didn't have to join in. The thought of people watching her play flute made Paulina feel a little uneasy.

She supposed she could answer the question though... "I'm not bad at the piano or flute." Nod.

Paul nodded at Adi. "We play bluegrass, yes. Very upbeat, positive music most times...something you can tap your foot to." He thought so, anyways. He was the most talkative of the three students, but Paul didn't mind. Music didn't require words.

"Ah well--if you all insist--let me go find my banjo--" he sighed and felt his cheeks flush shyly. He quickly exited the Greenhouse and strode over to his office to get his banjo....and grabbed the case he kept it to carry it over safely to the Music Therapy Room.

"I always wished I could play Piano--" he said, softly, as he undid the case. He found a rock for a bench and sat down, because the scurrying he'd done had tired him out. Walking too fast, man. It was tiring! "Okay here is my banjo--" he smiled and strummed it gently, as if he were handling an infant. "I'm a little shy to play in front of you all..." he admitted. "What are...all your names again?" He had to ask because....ha. He was terrible at remembering them.

Jet gave the boy a small smile as she nodded in reply to his question. "Guitar. Mainly classical." She added as she watched the professor re-entering the Music Therapy Room.

Her smiled grew a little bigger when the professor admited he was shy to play in front of them. Then he asked their names. "Jet Wolford." She informed him as she stepped back a little to be able to hear him play as she continued to look at the plants he had there.

Hm, music therapy room?

Timmy carefully walked in and smiled at all the plants. Herbology was secretly one of her favorite classes, along with potions but she wasn't going to tell Culloden that. He probably didn't like her anymore after what she had called him. Anyway. The smallish blonde walked around, humming to herself the Sugar Plum Fairy and adding a little jump to her legs. It reminded her of when she played the role back home. She secretly missed those days and wished she had never gotten injured. She would've been top of her age class by now.

She twirled, thanking herself there weren't many people around now. Though, she never minded an audience.

Noelle ventured out to the greenhouses. She had heard this place was very relaxing. She usually didnt do relaxing because of being ADHD but she wanted to know every nook and cranny of this school to tell her mum all the stories.

Walking into the greenhouse. she saw a pretty girl doing a little dance and humming... she knew that song... what was that song. Noelle watched her. She was amused and impressed with the girl. Scooting around, she looked at the girls face and beamed! "TIMMY!" She exclaimed and clapped her hands.

"I saw you dance! That was really good! And what are you doing?? Also.... hi!" Because hi is important. She smiled at her and mimiced her dance. She couldnt remember what that song was so she didnt bother singing it. Although, it was a really familiar song.

The Professor wished that he could play piano, and Paulina had to admit she was a little surprised that he couldn't. The man seemed to be rather musically inclined after all; or at least that was her first impression. "I could show you some time, sir. I mean if you want me too," she added going slightly pink. Maybe he was too busy what with his job and all.

AND HE WAS SHY LIKE HER!!

Paulina smiled because she was the exact same way when it came to performing for others - why she mostly played for herself. "I'm Paulina Holiday."

Yes! Adi knew all about bluegrass music and he nodded enthusiastically. "Positive vibes, Professor. Positive vibes and positive music can cure any plant. Or humans.'' Hehe. All they needed to do was dance! Even the plants. Haha. Just kidding. While Myers was off getting his banjo, the seventh year turned his attention back to Paulina and Jet. "Nice to meet you, Jet. You should play for us sometime too.'' Uhhh, was that too much pressure for her? And what about Paulina? "You're not too shy to play, right?" They shouldn't be! They were all musicians here.

Myers was back! "Paulina or I could give you a few lessons sometime, Professor.'' There was a piano at the Castle, after all and he was sure Paulina wouldn't mind. Hoping to make his new Professor a little more at ease, Adi sat on another rock, strumming at his guitar too. "Aditya Rehman, Professor but everyone calls me Adi.'' Cue him playing some notes with gusto as he finished giving his name!

Jet, Paulina, and Adi. Right. He WOULD get names, yes he WOULD. Eventually O___o

He was sitting on the rock, and holding his banjo the proper way. He began to strum, softly, as they spoke. "I am sad that I cannot play piano--I wanted to take lessons but--" he strummed again. "I just..never got into it. I'm much more suited for something with strings. And that's very cool, Miss Wolford." About playing the guitar.

"Ah...I'd love it. Isn't there a new music room in school? Somewhere you can practice playing and whatnot?" he asked, because it hadn't been there when HE was in school. He'd have LOVED that! He wondered why the arts weren't more important....hmm. Maybe he'd have to Botros about it.

He then...began to play a little melody. Paul couldn't sing, so he just strummed along peacefully, his eyes closed a bit as he filled the room with his tunes. He even quite forgot he was with other people....oops.

Timmy was in her own little world, not really caring who was watching or not. It was just like when she was on stage. Jumping all over the lace, spinning quickly and managing sticking to one spot. It was all the things Timmy was going to miss from the life. But the blonde was snapped out of her daydream when someone yelled her name. Timmy stumbled and fell to the ground. It reminded her of that day; spraining her ankle and ruining her first ever professional solo piece. Sitting and sighing, she looked at the person and smiled a bit.

"I was remembering the steps to when I was the Sugar Plum Fairy in a recital back home," She kind of wanted to be Clara, but was still pretty excited about still having a big role in the show. "Hello," Timmy kept her smile and waves at Noelle. "Are you trying to dance it too?"

Jet gave Adi a little nod in reply. "Nice to meet you too." She added towards all of them. As for his question about them being shy to play, Jet simply gave him a small smile before turning to the professor as he addressed her. "Thank you."

While they spoke about piano lessons, Jet observed the plants and once the professor started to play, she made sure not to miss a note while she walked around. This room had lovely accoustic.

Oh no! Timmy fell! Rushing over to her, Noelle sat with her and brushed her skirt underneath her as she sat looking at her. 'You didnt hurt anything did you?" She asked looking to make sure she hadnt. Noelle had a thing about surprising people, or hurting people unpurposefully.

"You looked really pretty dancing like that. Can you show me how to do that sometime?" Noelle asked, still checking over her. "I went to a ballet once. It was pretty amazing. you can dance like they can cant you?" Noelle asked, her eyes fixed on the older girl.

String instruments. Yep, Adi totally got Myers's love for those. It was the same way he felt. "Yep! That's the one, Professor. You should check it out sometime soon.'' He already had and it was one amazing room. Too bad it hadn't been there years earlier but better late than never yeah?

When Myers started playing, Adi stopped moving his own fingers against his guitar to listen to the melody. He also watch the man carefully. WOAH! He did the same actions as his student. You could tell how a person feels about the music by their actions. Even Adi would close his eyes when playing. It was a way to get lost in it all.

Adi glanced at Jet and Paulina. What did they think? He himself thought Myers was super good!

Timmy shook her head and slowly got up. At least this fall didn't hurt as much as the other one over summer. Yeah, she was never letting that go.Dusting herself off, the blonde smiled at the younger girl. "The only thing that's hurt is my pride. No big deal," She patted Noelle's head. It was adorable on how much Noelle was concerned if she had gotten injured and all.

Timmy shrugged. "It takes years of practice to dance like that. You'll need to break into ballet shoes and dance on your tippy toes a lot," Which hurt too much and made the older blonde want to quit. But she enjoyed it too much to just throw it all away. Look at the irony. "It depends on which ballet show you saw,"
