Another Muggle Studies lesson for the term!

Adi shuffled into the classroom. "Professor Head of House 3.0! HI!'' He bounded over to the cheery lady, eyeing her sticker and raising his left hand to give her an ENTHUSIASTIC high five. High fives were his thing! Also, yes, he had his own sticker on his clothing. It was the greenish one with the grin on it as usual. ''You look great, by the way,'' he added before heading off to grab a seat in the U shaped formation.

Adi opted for a seat on the right hand side then happily sat down. Where was everyone else? One should not be late for awesome classes as Moxley's.

She was the second one there?

Slightly surprised, Paulina entered the classroom. "Hello, Professor." Approaching the woman's desk, she gave her a high five. Okay, that was a little weird...but she had seen the new rules and knew that it was required of her even if it made no sense. "Nice outfit."

Now for her mood sticker... Paulina wasn't sure how she felt right now besides confused, so she opted for a sticker that appeared to look how she felt. Yep, that worked perfectly.

"Hey, Adi." Settling down in the seat beside her friend, she tried to get comfortable as she waited for the other students to arrive.

Muggle studies...a subject he managed to do halfway decent with somehow. It wasn't like he had THAT much experience on his own in the Muggle world. It did make him think of a certain set of sisters and Benny did his best not to think on it. No more drama in class please. Astronomy's production had been bad enough to deal with. He'd prefer things to be more normal thank you very much.

Having read up on the class rules, the seventh year had noticed the extra ones like the rest of the professors had added so far. No treats or pips or switching of ties but a couple of new ones. Just a lion in his final year walking into a classroom with a pleasant atmosphere. "Good day, Professor Moxley," he greeted the woman with a polite smile before remembering the rule and moving to give her a high five like it had directed. He then moved to take a seat of his own, noticing Adi and Paulina were the only other ones there.

"Hey," he greeted, taking a seat of his own. The Gryffindor opting for a smiley face that seemed not too happy but not sad. A more content smile...adding it to his robes.

Another class that involved stickers? Ethan was, at first apprehensive about the new rule, but was really relieved when it didn’t require them to wear it on their foreheads. Sticking it to their shirts were more acceptable, definitely. Also, it was great that they get to wear regular muggle clothing to class because it meant no switching of house ties.

Bag on his shoulder, and hands inside his pockets, Ethan knocked on the door of the classroom, took a peek and grinned at the professor waiting for them to arrive. “Heeey Professor Moxley! Great day, isn’t it?” he greeted as he walked over to her and gave her a high-five. Merlin, awesome professor was awesome!

Turning, he passed by a few other students, gave them all salutes, but Adi got a high five from him. Giving his friend an extra pat on the shoulder, Ethan went to his usual seat at the back, made himself comfortable, and got himself a smiley sticker from his table and placed it on his shirt.

Sophie Brown loved this class, did Moxley know? Moxley's positivity was ALWAYS contagious, so no matter WHAT, once class got started Sophie always felt pumped to get going. Ex...cept the times that she thought of Tobes, which had been too many times so far this term. Muggle stuff always made her think of Tobes. Always. Especially since Tobes and Moxley had gotten on so well and Soph KNEW that Tobes had loved Moxley so much... being in this class gave her a bad case of emotions.

So it was a confusing thing. She wanted to be happy, and Moxley made her happy, but... Tobes. Maybe she'd grow out of that feeling the moment she set foot in the classroom, but today was not that day.

Still, at the sight of Moxley, Sophie DID smile and hurried her way up to the front to connect a BIG OL' HIGH-FIVE WITH THE MOXINATOR. "Hi, professor. You're looking ravishing, as always." Her clothes were a little funny, but funny was the norm here at Hogwarts, so it didn't faze the Head Girl one bit.

Finding a desk nearest to the windows - habit, one formed by the Tobes - Sophie picked up the sticker sheet on her desk and gave it a long, hard stare. Which one resonated most with her today? After a little while of consideration, Sophie picked a yellow one and stuck it to her robes. It wasn't terribly emotive - it was probably the most neutral one Soph could've picked, in her eyes. She felt that putting a sad one or a frustrated one on her shirt didn't make her a good leader, even if she was sad or frustrated, so... this was the safest way to go, even if it wasn't completely truthful.

She had to do what she had to do.

Muggle Studies. A lesson Hady was fairly good in seeing as she was raised part muggle.So today's lesson should be easy enough for her which meant she was in a decent mood.

Walking into the room she gave Professor Moxley a light smile and a high five as she passed her desk. "Hello Professor, nice outfit." Hady grinned a little curious as to the point behind the professors clothing today. Surely they wouldn't be actually muggle bowling in the classroom but maybe something similar to it?

Givingiving everyone else a small nod in greeting the brunette selected a desk off to the left. Settling into her seat with her bag at her feet she let her eyes scan over the shentire of mood stickers. Uh she wasn't overly happy or sad nor mad so um... with a seconds thought she finally choice one that had a causal looking smile/grin. It appeared to be the most Hady-ish right now.

Muggle Studies.

He liked Muggle Studies right? And thought Professor Moxley was okay. That is why he is here in Muggle Studies?

Right?...Yeah, Sure that sounds about right

"Hey Professor Moxley" Dante said giving her a high five. He liked this rule better than Airey's at least. Too much stuff to remember in his class. He went to a desk in the end of the U. Farthest away from Moxley and looked at the stickers. Couldn't there just be one that says whatever with a shrug. That was his mood. Usually always his mood.

So he choose the most neutral looking face possible and stuck it to his robes.

Whatever.

Soooo muggle studies time again. Professor Moxley was simply wonderful. One of her favorite professors, mostly because she painted her nails last term, Professor Morgan did too! That had definitely been fun. Anywho. Back to muggle studies, Cinna was in a usually good mood today. So this new mood stickler thing was just a great idea at least for this lesson.

Cinna walked into the muggle studies classroom, there was a few students in the room already. Seeing Moxley at her she walked and greeted her. "Hello Professor. Hope you're... Oh you must be having a great day." Noticing her sticker, assuming her mood coordinated her the sticker she was wearing. Oh, yeah. High five. She held up her hand. One day Moxley she was going to pull a high five, low five, middle five to slow thing on her one of these lessons. Tehe.

Okay time to pick a seat. She waved at Adi and the girl she met in the bathroom color="gold"]Paulina[/color]. She moved on around the U shaped desk arrangement, nodding as she passed Sophie. She grabbed a seat. She already knew what sticker she wanted. Peeling off the sticker with the biggest smile. She put it on her robes. Yep, she was ready for class to start.

Why was Daxton here? Curiosity, plain and simple. He had very little desire to waste his time learning about 'muggles', especially considering he had spent his life believing (to an extent) that he was one, when all Daxton really wanted to do was learn about wizards. He was bored of muggles, really. But seeing how wizards spoke about them? Even having the chance to see them get it spectacularly wrong? Daxton was here for that.

And probably never again in the future, considering what the classroom rules were. Speaking of which, Daxton made sure to duck into the classroom behind a couple of older kids and take a seat right near the door, hopefully before he could be noticed. Because high fives were weird and anxiety-inducing and also stupid. Even 'air-fives'; they made no sense, and Daxton did not trust them, and he did not like interacting with anyone... so he avoided that part altogether.

On his desk, Daxton found the sheet of stickers (what exactly was it with this place and stickers?). He was actually willing to wear one of these - at least they did not have to wear them on their foreheads - but when he looked closely at the options, he found himself completely and utterly, hopelessly confused.

These were moods? How were they supposed to tell which was which? And aside from that, how was Daxton supposed to be able to tell what he was feeling right now anyway? He could not identify feeling anything at that moment, other than confusion, because these stickers... these stickers made no sense whatsoever. And Daxton was sure he did not like feeling confused. He blinked at the sheet, looked up at the teacher woman, Moxley, then back at the stickers again.

What the heck?

Olly was actually fairly early for once. There were only a few other people in the room when he got there, all all whom appeared to have arrived not long ago. Nice. Oliver practically ran to the front of the room to give the professor a very excited high five. These rules he liked. They were not confusing, or too weird. They didn't involve words he didn't know the meaning of, sharing his candy, or removing any articles of clothing. And he liked high fives. "Hello professor!" He greeted with a tone just as enthusiastic as his high five. "How are you today?" Oops, just after asking the question he noticed the happy face sticker on her shirt. Two thumbs up to you, professor Moxley.

The first year turned and quickly chose a seat. There was as open one next to Ethan that he claimed as his own. "Hi Ethan," he greeted the older boy before turning his attention to his mood stickers. In his opinion, they all looked pretty cool. He took several of the ones that probably meant happiness, and stuck them in various places on his body. One right over his heart, a few on his stomach, a few on pants, one on his shoe, and one on the tip of his nose. There. Perfect.

Muggle studies was always fun for someone who grew up in the muggle world. Kaycee looked having an easy class. Plus it usually meant games.

She high-fived the Professor on the way in. Again, the rules were so weird this term. But, whatever, she'd roll with it.

She looked around before grabbing a seat next to Dante. She smiled at him before looking over the stickers. She considered them before adding the indifferent one to the front of her robes. She couldn't quite figure out which one was the judgmental sticker. Home girl had opinions on outfits.

Muggle Studies.
Hmm...

Noelle didnt think she would be as excited for this class as other classes. She already knew a bunch of muggle stuff due to her being half-blood, which she found out she was during some girl talk in the dorm. Knwoing things, and how they worked, and about muggles, just did not seem all that exciting.

Entering the classroom, Noelle looked around. It was nice and sunny in here. She wished she was as bright and sunny as she usually was. Then she would match the room, but alas, not today. She slept horribly because she was overwhelmed with homesickness and then got up 'on the wrong side of the bed'. Like her mum would say.

Shuffling to one of the desks on the U shape, Noelle sat in one of the curves. She was small enough to scoot into the side and plop right down. She was too tired, and put her head on the desk. Oh right.... she needed to greet the professor.

Seeing the brunette professor, she gave a little finger wave under her chin and dropped her head back to the desk. She didnt even bother to see who was sitting beside her. This was not the Noelle Grace Summers that was usually so bubbly.

It wasn’t as if Brooklyn didn’t like Muggle Studies. If she had any thought son it whatsoever, they were indifferent. She’d grown up sort of in between after all, so now that she was nearly completely part of the Wizarding world it was just sort of something she felt intriguing. Not to mention something she might be better at, except she still had a bias against actually answering questions in the subject. In most any subject, really. It qualified as work that it was just easier to let others do for her, but she’d shown up for the class anyhow. There had been every possibility of her following that Ravenclaw first year in trying to slip into a seat unnoticed, too, but she resisted. It wasn’t as if she avoided attention, or contact with people when she so felt like it.

Making her way to the front of the setup, she raised her hand for the high-five that was requested. Way too mundane, but if she had to she would. “Good day, Professor Moxley,” she added, giving the woman her normal smile reserved for professors. Before she turned back to claim a seat sort of halfway between Hady and Ethan. That way she could maybe guarantee not getting an irritating partner if they did a partner activity later in the lesson. Maybe. Nothing really was guaranteed here, and the stickers just proved that. She found one that was rather indifferent, and stuck it to the collar of her shirt. At least she didn’t have to put it on her forehead this time. She still thought the stickers were stupid.

Muggle Studies.

It wasn't his favourite class, but it was an easy one... and boosting his grades was never a bad thing when you had a mum like his. He was no Ravenclaw, but he did well enough that he wouldn't disappoint. As it was, he didn't drag his feet to class today, though he wasn't skipping either.. and just WHAT was going on with all these bogus rules with stickers and stupid things like that?

It was only for the reason that he didn't have t wear it on his forehead that he took one and put it on his robes. It was a neutral face. No smile. No frown. No sad face. No... however else you might describe those other faces. It was just... a face.

"Hey, Professor," Zeke greeted as he made his way past her to find a seat along the side toward the back. Yeah. Weird seating arrangement - for Hogwarts, but he'd live.

OH YEAH. It was TIME. Best time of the day for SURE. Okay, maybe it was tied with lunch, but it totally still counted. Norah entered the muggle studies classroom with a ginormous beam and a hand up all ready to high-five Professor Moxley. "HI Professor! I like your shirt. Really really really nice color." Uh huh. Not as good as the Hufflepuff yellow she'd been sporting at the beginning of term but still FABULOUS.

She took a seat at a desk without even second guessing the funny table arrangement 'cause it was probably for a very good reason, and took out her note taking materials. That's right. Resident prefect all ready to prove her maturity and all those good things, 'cause for some reason Professor Moxley thought she had those. Maybe they were just hiding. With a purple sticker stuck to the front of her robes because it had the very biggest smile of all the stickers, Norah sat and waited with her lips zipped tight shut. So ready, man. SO. READY.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhh another Muggle Studies lesson. For the pureblooded Truebridge, this always seemed like the toughest class, and Davie took a LOT of tough classes. He was usually good at them, too. But not Muggle Studies. He just didn't get all the Muggley stuff they had to learn.

Still, he plucked out a blue mood sticker that looked like :S and walked past the professor, giving her a silent, solemn air five as he passed. He settled into a seat, adjusted his many, many sheets of parchment for the notes he desperately needed to take, and settled his chin on his hand.

MUGGLE STUDIES.

Sometimes Brian wasn't sure why he signed up for his class, and then he remembered that Professor Moxley was really cool and his Head of House and ALSO PROFESSOR MOXLEY WAS SO COOL SHE ROCKED HIS SOCKS OFF. The fact that this was probably the only class he did effortlessly well in was a bonus, especially since he knew a lot of the stuff firsthand. Muggling. He could Muggle. He'd been a muggle for most of his life anyway (or at least he thought he had) and Muggles were cool. They had their own magic - SCIENCE - and that was even cooler.

High-fiving the professor lady on his way in, Brian had a HUGE GRIN on his face as he found a seat somewhere with an empty seat next to it. BEAM. And there were moooood stickers! FUN FUN FUN! Brian was really indecisive about which sticker to pic - he was indecisive about everything, really - so he picked all the happiest looking stickers and stuck them to his clothes. Which meant that he had at least seven on. He was HAPPY, okay? And excited!

BEAM.

Muggle Studies. Truthfully Tia didn't really NEED to take the subject considering her top interests for post Hogwarts didn't really include Muggle Studies. But she LIKED the subject and it was generally speaking interesting for her, so why not?

Remembering the Professor's peculiar rule changes, the sixth year though thoroughly confounded by the rule changes held up her hand for a high five as she passed Moxley's desk. "Hello Professor! How are you?" She beamed, as she scanned the desks briefly before settling into the second row. Not too close. Not too far away.

Mood stickers! Right, she nearly forgot about that part of the new rules. Perusing the sheet, she stuck a blue :-] looking one to her robes. She wasn't displeased to be here, but she definitely couldn't be qualified as extensively happy either.

Henric walked to his Head of House and Muggle Professor class with you guessed it, a pumpkin pastry in his hand. He had bought enough pumpkin pastries that were neatly wrapped and put in a yellow box for Professor Moxley too.Finishing off his own pastry, he wiped his mouth with his handkerchief before heading in to class. Upon entering, he was quite surprised at the change of their seating layout. Nice!

He approached the professor and smiled,"Good morning professor Moxley, I have something for you, pumpkin pastries...freshly baked of course." He noticed the outfit she was wearing today.Oh? It looked like she was wearing a bowling outfit. "Very nice shirt, professor. Where you did you get it?"he asked as a polite gesture.

Grinning broadly, he turned around to choose a seat available at the corner. It seemed everyone already here, he waved to his friends and sat down.

Muggle Studies. The only class so far where the new rules weren't too weird. A fact that Heather was thankful for as she entered class, high-fived Moxley and plopped down in her seat, placing a smiley sticker on her shirt.

And it looked like they where studying bowling today. Or, Professor Moxley was wearing a bowling shirt anyway. And her outfits were usually an indication of what they were studying. Somewhat.

Henry was rather interested in what Muggle Studies class would be like at Hogwarts. He knew about his share of muggle things as both his parents were muggleborn and had a mix of muggle and magic things at the house. Not to mention he had gone to a muggle primary school, so he thought this class might be a piece of cake.

Dressed in his favorite t-shirt and a pair of jeans, he headed into class. "Hi, Professor Moxley!" he greeted his Head of House with a grin, then offered her a high-five. Though he thought it an unusual rule when he read it, it certainly didn't bother him. He just thought it was kind of cool.

Turning towards the desks, he looked around to find a seat. Oh, there were some of his housemates! "Hi, Adi.. Hi, Paulina.." And there was Norah and Henric too. He took a seat near the older badgers, then saw another person he knew. He tried to catch Noelle's eye and gave her a little wave, though he looked at her curiously. She looked sad or something, but he hoped she was okay.

Glancing at the mood stickers on his desk, Henry searched through them all to find one most appropriate. He chose just a regular smiley face and stuck it to his t-shirt. That one seemed most appropriate for today.

Muggle Studies once again found Milo in attendance. Over the summer when he was reading his copy of Hogwarts, A History and pouring over his new textbooks, he had secretly became basically obsessed with learning whatever Muggle stuff he could because of the absence of his father. He'd passed away almost five years ago and had been a Muggle himself. Ever since though, Milo's mother and himself hadn't had much to do with the Muggle world because of their remote home. Muggle Studies lessons though were his chance to maybe learn some more about what his dad's life may have been like growing up.

"Hello Professor." Milo had his green sticker placed on his robes (a smilie face with its tongue sticking out) and approached the woman at her desk to give her a high five. Her clothes seemed strange to the first year but of course he didn't say anything about them. After the handshake, he found himself a seat and waited for the lesson to begin.

Owen was here. Off course he was here. It was Muggle Studies, a subject he can very much relate to and what's more, it was being taught by the prettiest Professor in the whole wide universe. He. He. He. They also had stickers. Hersheys, he loved having stickers and because the young Hufflepuff was as cheerful as ever, he picked one with a BIG smile.

Beam!

Sticker in place, Owen stepped inside the classroom and staaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaared at the Professor. Blush blush blush. "Hello, Professor maa'm." Then high-five'd her shyly. Eeep!

Dot was feeling particularly marvelous, because it was time for Muggle Studies, and she liked this class and she liked Moxley and she wasn't sure what was going to happen but it was always FUN. She practically danced through the door and up to Moxley, where she offered both hands for high five doublesies! High ten!

"Good day, Professor! I like that you're wearing pink, because it looks like a particularly happy color on you. It's a very interesting shirt, and I bet you'll tell me about it in a minute, but I'd like it more if we added your name in glittery thread right over the pocket. Maybe later?" And then she was moonwalking or something back to her seat and looking at the stickers.

They were all a little basic and not really representative of the sunburst in her belly, so Dot just chose the one that looked like it had an orange slice in its mouth. She bared all her teeth in a truly terrifying grin and tried to look like her sticker.

Oh, a lost baby one! Dot put her scary teeth-face away and leaned over, tapping the blue one (for Ravenclaw!!!) with the little 'O' mouth. Maybe he wanted a hug or something? But you had to ask, and she wasn't supposed to be talking out of turn and... being responsible was exhausting.

"Maybe that one. It's okay if it isn't perfect. It's just a social convention. You do it to please someone else and make the moment go away faster. I'm Dot, and I don't actually smile like my sticker. D'you need a hug? I give excellent hugs, but I have to ask first." She may have peeked at Moxley to make sure her talking wasn't a problem.
