Spells may be used from the following List. Any spells on this list are not permitted unless approval has been granted.
If you have completed/participated in the second DADA Lesson, regarding the homing spell, you are now permitted to use it during your duel.

NOTE: Fatigue points ONLY need to be used when you are physically attacking someone, or avoiding a spell. All other maneuverings around the hall do not need to be accounted for.

A referee (Professor Flamsteed or Dakest) will be assigned to your duel and present. They will only interfere if there is need, including foul play, serious injury or unacceptable or illogical use of spells.
OOC: Each duel must be completed by no later than November 30, midnight GMT-6 (OOC). Remember that a duel ends when one dueler has lost ALL magic or ALL health points. Please make duels a minimum of 3 posts each.
If you have questions, please ask. Also, if for some reason you cannot complete or start your duel, please let both me and your partner know. We will work something out.
Remember: duelers MUST keep track of their own points as they go. At the top of their post (in the tag line) they must include their current standing of points, as they are at the BEGINNING of that post. At the bottom of their post, they must include a 'spoiler' tag, including the spells which they've cast (and the directionallity of the spell, so the opponent can easily reference the potential damage to themselves), the spell(s) that have affected them (if any) and their own final Point Standing for that post.

HER FINAL DUEL WAS AGAINST THE THIRD YEAR STUDENT????
Merlin's beard, she suddenly lost her confident when she heard about that. Ava was not really sure that she's gonna win since logically, this guy was a third year. It means that he's stronger and has better magical abilities than her. Buuuuuut, Teddy told her not to quit since she's a Gryffindor. And those true brave lions would never quit the challenge.
Entering the duel stage with her full uniform, the young lioness bowed down to her opponent. She was still nervous even when she faced Colt Winchester, her opponent. Taking a very deep breath, Ava gained her concentration and focus. "Expelliarmus!" A scarlet bolt was produced from her wand and pointed to Colt's wand arm.

After finishing his second duel, he was astounded that he was in the running to be in 1st or 2nd place for the jinx final. He thought he was going to be in at least 3 or 4th place at least. As he went up to the dueling arena, he saw his opponent and he was impressed. Huh....he was versing a first year it seemed like. Well now this was going to be easy but he should underestimate. He should be cautious and be on the alert. This girl could prove him wrong.
He got his wand at the ready and he saw this first year and her name was Ava from seeing on his notice board, she was casting the disarming curse. He scoffed and casted, "PROTGEO!" and then he casted his well known jinx, "LEVICORPUS!"

Ugh, he easily deflected her disarming charm. Quickly she ducked to avoid his attack. She didn't really expect that he's gonna be easy on her. "Don't you ever be proud on winning this, big kid!" The young lioness shouted out loud. "You should be ashamed on yourself, winning against a first year... TWO FIRST YEARS! Isn't that easier that stealing cookies from a toddler?"
Take that, Slytherin boy! Didn't it mean that Dakest thought that he's as WEAK as first years? Boo.... So, yeah. Don't be proud. If it happened to her, Ava would be ashamed and unhappy because it was AN INSULT for her!
Back to the dueling, the young lioness quickly cast the shield charm when her opponent. Too bad that it's not powerful enough to deflect it back. Okay, now she had to attack him back. She remembered the homing spell that Professor Dakest had taught them at the last class. It would be better if she combined her attack with the spell. First, she cast the jelly-finger curse to his wand arm and then the homing spell for the accuracy.

Colt raised his eyebrows and was humored by her trash talking. He shook his head and laughed at it. Yeah he did win against two first years but hey that is what the teacher paired him up with. If he had to choose, he would have been paired up with students his age. He was brainstorming some new spells to use against this one. This little girl who thought she was better than him. Well time to show her who was the boss.
He got his wand at the ready and she was aiming spells at him. He saw her protect herself from his Levicorupus spell. Huh...good work little firstie. He gave her props. Now time to protect himself, "PROTGEO!" he sound confidently and he noticed he didn't feel the jinx she sent out at him. HUH! I guess it was strong enough to deflect back. SWEEET! He gave a cheshire grin and thought about his next spell and casted "Muffliato!"
