It was Christmastime ALREADY?!

Naturally Davie wasn't about to spend his first Christmas at Hogwarts AWAY from Hogwarts. All two of his friends were here. The best food EVER was here. He would go home and see Mum and Dad for New Year's, he had decided. But Christmas? There would be something special about staying in the castle for Christmas, for sure.

Settling down into a seat at the feast table, Davie cheerfully put on his Christmas hat and looked around excitedly. Christmas at the castle. What next?!!?!

You know it was harder than Dante thought to just say outright he was staying. Though he would be doing nothing at home and Hugo was staying. so he thought why not stay. Though Maggie was going home. So you win some, you lose some. But it was christmas time. So time to be happy and stuff.

Or at least enjoy all these wonderful food.

He was really hungry. Though it was always a sight seeing the Great Hall during the holidays. Just look at this place. He was not even focused on where he was sitting and at next to what it seemed to be a first year he did not know. He put on the christmas hat and asked

"You don't think this christmas hat makes my head look weird?"

He never looked good wearing hats.

"It makes your head look weird because you have a weird head," Dot offered helpfully as she took a seat beside the two boys. Davie (the cutest ickle ever) got a finger wave and Dark Dante a cheeky grin. "Happy Christmas. I do like your hats, though. Very festive."

As for Dot, she'd opted for the tinsel boa. And tinsel in her hair and some tied to her shoes and a line stitched to the hem of her skirt. She LOVED SHINY TINSEL. HAPPY SHINY CHRISTMAS.

Food, btw?

Ellery was totally decked out, with red ribbons and silver tinsel intertwined in her ever-present pigtail braids, complete with bells on her ponytail holders. She was wearing an explosion of red and green, some representing Gryffindor and Slytherin (stolen/borrowed from Olly), and some from other pieces of miscellaneous clothing. She had stolen some red lipstick from an older student, too, and was mischievously showing off her rebellion by smirking a whole lot.

Olly was going to join her, and then she was going to wait until after the feast to give him her special sibling present for him. She was AWESOME at finding and making presents. But he wasn't here yet anyway.

"DANTE!!!!!!!! Happy Christmas!!!!" she said excitedly, wrapping her arms around him as soon as she got close enough. She nodded at David, the other first year there, and offered him a full-frontal view of her pearly, lipsticky grin. Then she turned her eyes to Charlotte (or Dot, she had observed), who was also decked in tinsel.

"Nice shinies." Closest she was getting to wishing her a Happy Christmas.

Dressed in red clothing, a Santa hat AND a fake beard and mustache, Adi headed over to small group already gathered for the feast. It was a group he knew so he figured he would skive off decorating or helping out the House Elves with baking for a while.

"HOHOHO! HAPPY CHRISTMAS, GUYS!'' LOL. Excuse the Hufflepuff masquerading as a Santa Clause minus the tubby belly. "Hey, Queen Dot!'' He was going to call her that for the rest of her life, okay? "Hi, Dante, Davie, Ellery!'' The young lion was Ellery, right? He just knew her by seeing her in classes and stuff. "Nice hat, Dante!''

Olathe just loved Christmas time and even though this was going to be the first she didn't spend with her family. Her mother had assured her in her last owl from home that with the family currently passing a cold back and forth between each other, the smart thing was for her to stay at Hogwarts. She decided she would spend as much time as she could in the library reading up on Hippogriffs. She adjusted the lopsided reindeer antlers once again before she skipped into the Great Hall the bells she wore jingled as she moved. She was ready to help with well everything!.....

If anyone had asked, Brooklyn would have said that she hadn’t paid attention one bit to who was staying for the holidays or who had left. For once, she would have been telling the absolute truth, aside from the fact she had definitely noticed the absence of one blonde in her dorm. That was just the flaw of there not being many fourth year Slytherin girls, and she knew she’d be leaving soon herself. She just was stalling in contacting her family, feeling the need for a bit of freedom from all the excitement and planning over her sister’s wedding. If she could’ve gotten out of that too, she would have.

But anyway, there might have been a tiny bit of curiosity over what Christmas at Hogwarts would be like too, although the little redhead would never have admitted that, even under torture. Even if she’d been locked in the dungeons with some disgusting task. She’d heard about a certain detention after all. In any case, she’d walked into the Great Hall with Tywin in her arms. She figured he had every right to be here as much as she did, and she’d even shrunk down a pair of antlers so it would fit on her cat’s head. She herself had gone with a tinsel boa, as it sort of reminded her of her ice princess costume for the prefect masquerade party a couple terms ago. It had seemed like the least annoying option.

She’d seen the small group over at the table, and wandered near enough to give Dante a nod, and Dot had even gotten a near smile. She remembered the Gryffindor girl from the opening feast, too, but she and the little Claw only got a curious glance. And a certain Hufflepuff prefect got summarily ignored. The main thing was that she hadn’t felt like decorating or baking. Instead, she’d just stay over here with her little Bengal cat-reindeer.

IT'S CHRISTMAS EEEVEEEEEE!!

Olympia had to restrain herself from barging into the Hall dramatically because SHE LOOOVED CHRISTMAS. The third year smiled at her fellow students as she made her way to a seat. "Merry Christmas, Merry Christmaaas". She sang merrily.

Hold up. Christmas hat?! Oh this was AMAZE. Grabbing one, Olympia popped it on her head tucking her hair behind her ears as appropriate so it wouldn't fall off.

It's CHRISTMAS!!! And she was very excited that this was her very first Christmas ever at Hogwarts. The young lioness decided to stay because of this event. WASN'T IT EXCITED??? Although at first Teddy, Dima and her parents disagreed for the first time.

Putting on her Christmas-themed outfit, Ava then walked to the great hall and.... Merlin's beard it's so WONDERFUL!!! She noticed that some people were already here. Wait, she wasn't late, was she? Hopefully not. "HEEEEEEEY EVERYBODY!!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!" She greeted them.

They had provided her a Christmas hat but but... She already had her reindeer ears!! Well, putting on the hat and then the ears at the same time. Why not? Hehehe.

His first ever christmas feast at Hogwarts and Yoongi was …..sick….but also EXCITED!

His nose was red and he had a handkerchief in his hand at all time in case he felt a sneeze coming up. He wore a big comfy sweater and of course not missing was the reindeer ears on top of his head. As he entered the great hall he wasn’t really surprised to see that tables were formed in to one. Christmas was all about happiness together right? Of course there would only be one table.

But the table was pretty long this way and he didn’t think anyone at the back would hear him so he got out his wand, pointed it at himself to amplify his voice “MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBO----AAACHOO!”

It was a known fact that Hady liked the colors green and silver so any day that gave her an even better reason to wear the two colors was a wonderful day. So it was happily that morning that she dressed in comfy black stretch pants, her black boots, a nice fuzzy oversized red sweater (with a reindeer on it) and a green elf hat on her head. Through the braid in her hair was tinsel which she somehow managed to weave between strands of dark brown and green hair. Yes she was dressing for the day but not overly so.

At her side was Hagan her munchkin kitty whom had a small elf hat a top his head as well. As they entered the great hall Hady knelt down and lifted her cat into her arms cradling him close before selecting a seat at the table and setting him on her lap. The chatter and excitement around her didn't go unnoticed but for the moment she remained silent taking everything in.

Normally she'd be home right now but her father had told her not this year. Apparently the new house wasn't ready yet or something, whatever that meant. So it was a bit reluctantly that Hady remained behind at Hogwarts which might explain the not so happy look on her face. Smoothing her hand over Hagan's fur she whispered a quiet, "Bless you," directed at Yoongi when she heard him sneeze. If he was able to hear her she wasn't sure.

"Olathe, Olathe, Olathe!'' Hehe. There was something about Christmas that made Adi extra happy and enthusiastic. It was definitely the best times of year. But his little sister was a reindeer today! A jingly one, too! He waved over... if she wasn't too busy, she could hang with him.

At that moment, Brooklyn arrived. Of course she ignored him. What else was new? But that didn't mean he would do the same to her. "Happy Christmas, Brooklyn!'' He repeated the greeting to Ava, Olympia, Hady and one sneezing Yoongi.

"Nice ears, Ava,'' the fake Santa commented as he stroked his beard. "Yoongi, you need the Pepper Up Potion. How about a trip to the Healer as an early Christmas present?" Hehe. That would just make the Healer's day... students to treat during the holidays.

Benny had finally opted to stay at school through the holidays, especially once added festivities were mentioned to be happening. It was, after all, his last year here at Hogwarts and he was trying not to be saddened by it but rather have fun with it. His secret santa letter sent out to be delivered, the seventh year had dressed in comfy somewhat Christmassy clothes before coming downstairs.

The topping was the antlers that didn't look fake. The Gryffindor had chosen the more real looking approach, having had experience with the spell in question, not to mention dealing with them as a transfigured reindeer. "Happy Christmas!!" He greeted everyone before siding up to his bestie with the Saint Nick complex.

"Howdy boss..."

Janelle was not in the best of moods. She had never been away from her family at Christmas and she was beyond sad about the whole thing. Not that she didn't love her school and all of her friends, but being with her family for Christmas was more important than anything. It was not often that her parents and siblings were at home all at the same time, so when they were, it was extra special. Unfortunately, a variety of circumstances prevented their reunion from happening this year.

A girl had to eat though, so Janelle headed to the feast. Finding the first empty spot that she came to, Janelle sat down at the ginormous table. That seat happened to be a bit away from the happy people. That was good. She was not really in the mood to be festive.

With his reindeer ears a little askew on his head Leo made his way over to grab a seat at the giant feast table, after baking a nice batch of festive gingerbread men over by the elves kitchen. Hoping that he hadn't smudged his face too much with frosting Leo looked up and down the long table for a place to sit. It was hard to know where to sit since he wanted a good look out position for signs of trouble amongst the celebrating students, and somewhere where he could see and hear what happened at the head of the table where Abraham no doubt was going to take up camp as headmaster.

Choosing a random place in the middle of the table, Leo put some tinsel boa on the seat next to him reserving it for Cassie. He wanted sit close to her when he had the chance. The normal seating at the feast didn't allow that. Beaming warmly around him at the students present Leo said "Merry Christmas everyone!!!"

Adjusting the reindeer ears on his head after his LOUD sneeze, Yoongi apologised and sat down at the table. He pulled out his handkerchief and blew in it , causing his nose to become even redder but he smiled . Nothing was going to spoil his Christmas spirit! Not even the sickness spirit! “Thank you” he grinned at Hady because he had heard her blessing because she sat nearby him.

Pepper up potion? Yoongi shook his head at the hufflepuff Prefect. “And have steam coming out of my ears the whole day? No thank you” he said. Oooh look at that he knew a potions fact! Where was Professor Culloden when you needed him? “I’m not that sick” and he held in a sneeze which caused his eyes to water. “Nice beard by the way” he laughed as he suddenly noticed it. How had he not seen that beard?! “I wanted to do a beard as well but then I thought, why not the reindeer ears? These looked better on me than a beard right?” he didn’t even ask it, he was telling it.

"Merry Christmas, Professor Library~!" he said as the man sat in front of him at the other side of the table and then sneezed in his handkerchief again.

Dressed in red and green for the holidays, Paulina made her way towards the Christmas feast. She hoped that there were vegetarian options available, but wasn't too sure. Hopefully she'd have more options than vegetables, but had a feeling that Hogwarts didn't do tofu.

"Merry Christmas everyone," she said as she took a seat at the table. Grabbing her Christmas hat she placed it on her head. She was so ready to eat.

Meredith Moxley was feeling extra merry and bright as she made her way into the great hall for the Christmas feast. The brunette had brought out her best Christmas clothing, complete with her adorable reindeer hat, and she was waving some gold tinsel around as she approached the large table. "Hellooooo, everyone! Happy Christmas!" Happy indeed.

Taking up the seat across from Leo, the muggle studies professor eyed her colleague curiously. "Is that frosting on your face?" BROWS.

What a GREAT time to be alive because Zander properly believed that holiday time was the best time. And though it was strange to stay back at Hogwarts--since he had only done it a few times in the past--he was glad he decided to stay. he didn't want to ever have to say goodbye to this place. Needed to spend all the time he could soakin' it up, y'know?

Also food.

Because that helped.

Somehow he had managed to get separated from Sophie, but knowing the Head Girl, she'd end up at food at some point. So he'd just save her a seat or something. Maybe he'd even go sit at the rav--Oh. Well this was different.

The Gryffindor looked around whilst walking down the table... Noticing a free seat nearest that one slytherin girl (Hady) who did not look very jolly despite the spirited attire. Hm. Interesting. "Hey Yoongi! Happy--Woah, you look awful, mate," Wait... He did that wrong er? "You sure you don't need some kind of pepperup or something?" 'Cause no offense, but if this whole sleepover thing was really going down, Zander was sleeping no where near this guy. Ahem, love you Yoongi.

Anyways, "Merry Christmas!" Would they be eating soon? "Like the jumper, Burton," he grinned at the Gryffindor as he approached a seat. So uh, food yeah? Also... did this whole table situation mean that they were going to be eating with the Professors? Weird. Anyways, he finally took a seat, turning towards the Slytherin he sat near "Why the long face? It's Christmas!" He pulled down his beard as he spoke. This thing was much too itchy. Why he hadn't just gone with a santa hat was beyond him.

ALSO HI EVERYONE HAPPY HAPPY CHRISTMAS! Ahem. So uh, food though?

Cosgrach felt the Christmas spirit to his bones this year! With the classical red hat and a bear grown by magic, he entered the Great Hall in his usual robes turned red by magic as well. In short, he looked like Santa, although he didn't claim to be one. It was just to get in the mooooooood! And he was already smiling from ear to ear as he made his way to where Leo and Moxley was.

"Merry Christmas!" he shouted at everyone, and sat next to the woman and nodded at Leo.

He didn't miss anything, did he?

Apparently Yoongi did hear her for he replied back with a simple 'Thanks'. Turning slightly more towards him she nodded her head. She would've mentioned a Pepperup Potion to the older boy but it looked like both Adi and Zander beat her to it so no need in repeating it once again. "How about some hot peppermint tea with a bit of honey then?," she added quietly her eyes directed towards Yoongi for a split second before her attention shifted towards the others around her. Hot tea always made her feel better when she wasn't well even if now she preferred coffee over tea.

"Happy Christmas." It wasn't exactly directed at anyone in general just those around her that had already wished her one. Even if she wasn't entirely thrilled about the whole thing she would get over that. It was one of her favorite holidays after all. Plus she was wearing her favorite colors and she was comfy. Things weren't so bad. And not to mention the fact that Hagan look adorable all curled up on her lap with his little elf hat on his head.

Hady was content with going back to being silent for the moment only that wasn't to be so. The older boy beside her spoke to her asking her a question. Did she look upset? She hadn't meant to. "It's nothing really I just wasn't supposed to remain here this year, my father told me last minute I wasn't able to come home." Her reply was followed with a shrug of her shoulders like it didn't bother her at all.

HA, HA. Very funny Dot. You would not know this but Dante was very self-conscious when he wears hats. But he never looks good in them. But that is besides the point. He saw the grin. So he knew she was teasing.

"Thanks, and I am liking all the tinsel"

Because really she was covered in it. But it was the holidays. So if you had to pick a time. It would be now. Plus it did not look bad on her at all. So yeah.

Now Dante not one to be surprised. But give it to Ellery because she sure surprised him with being loud and giving him a hug.

"Hey Ellery! Merry Christmas to you too!"

He was use to her being loud by now. And you know anyone else saying nice hat. Dante would be suspicious of sarcasm. But from a hufflepuff. He was not. Strange but not really. "You should really take a picture. The one time you will see me in this hat. But Hey Adi. What's Up?" He saw Brooklyn come in as quiet as usual and gave her a smile in return. But then he heard a really loud sneeze come from that Gryffindor over there. and like it was not even covered up. Gross.

"Cover up your sneezes next time"

Dante did not want to get sick on Christmas. Dante not even think it was possible to be sick on christmas. Ah looked you was staying here on for Christmas. Zander Adair.

"Nice Beard, Zander. Almost as amazing as my hat"

Woah Christmas time already? Jeez where did the term go? This term was going by wayy to fast. Colt heard there was a christmas feast to go to. He made his way up the dungeons to the great hall and as he entered the hall, he was impressed. Man the teachers did an amazing job. He grinned to himself and was definitely feeling the christmas spirit. He saw a few people made it here already. He even saw fellow Slytherins too. He nodded to all of them but he made his way to the food. The food was the most important part of the whole reason he came here.

It looked delicious too. He could smell like all the smells and his stomach started to rumble. It seemed others were digging in as well. He shrugged and thought don't mind if I do. He got his fork and knife in his hands and dug in.

Beatrice, in her Christmas themed outfit, and santa hat, could smell the feast from her office. Well, nearly. She was ready! And once she entered the great hall, she was gobsmacked.

WHOA!

Walking towards the big table, she sat down and turned to the student near her. "Oh, hello Colt. Merry Christmas!" She saw there was a goblet of water there, and she took a sip. "All this food smells amazing, don't you think?" she asked.
