Zhenya walked down the quiet corridor for History of Magic. Uh, yeah, it was quiet! Zhenya walked into the classroom quietly and saw Professor Glendower sitting at her podium. "Hello Professor, how are you?" she asked with a greeting, before eyeing the long table. What on earth was under there? Zhenya peeled her eyes away from it, knowing that she would surely find out what it was soon enough, once lesson started. So, she turned around to find a seat, pulling out her parchment, ink, quill and textbook.

Adi was already knew what his entrance was for this lesson. But he didn't feel quite up to it. Not since he found out Benny thought he was replacing him as bestie with Henric had Adi been able to really focus much. Benny didn't even believe him when Adi tried to convince him otherwise. He sighed inwardly as he approached the classroom door, spotting the familiar notice.

You know what? If Benny didn't want to believe him then there was nothing he could do about it. And he was going to do his entrance! The Hufflepuff cleared his throat, shuffled into the classroom and burst into a familiar song:

It was 'Do the Hippogriff!' by The Weird Sisters. Hehe. Everyone should know that, right? Accompanying Adi's singing was him doing weird movements that he improvised at the last moment (he had planned the singing, not the dancing). Head banging was included. He reallllly wanted to sing the entire song but he figured Glendower would get bored of him so he ceased his dancing directly in front of the woman's podium, a grin on his face but it wasn't the usual bright and cheerful one. It was more like forced and 'I'm sad but I don't want to show it'. "Hi, Professor. I hope you're alright.''

Just then he noticed the covered table. "Professor, are we having a feast?" Food would cheer him up right now. Yup, yup. Anwaaaay. Adi opted to sit waaaaaaaaay at the back of the classroom. He was going to hide from people today. So intent on doing this, he failed to notice his good friend Zhenya already there.

Her second favorite class was today! YES! She needed a new word or just face the facts that History of Magic and Divinations were her two favorite classes. The sixth year walked to the History of Magic classroom. She was sure that she had everything that she needed for today's class and even an extra notebook just in case because the one that she had been using for her other classes was getting full and she was always one to write for than what she needed to write in class. Emmylou beamed at Professor Glendower. "Hello Professor Glendower. How are you today?" she asked taking a sit in the front row.

Benny might have noticed the absence of music while approaching the History of Magic classroom...had he not been distracted by recent events. Not only had he confessed his feelings of being replaced to Adi, but he couldn't decide how he felt on his best friend's response. Or at least the Hufflepuff's response to his confession since who knew what they really were at this point really.

He did notice the usual sign to make an entrance, except this time he not only had no idea what to do, he didn't want to do anything. The Gryffindor was almost dragging himself to class. So instead Benny practically sulked quietly into the classroom only to find not many had arrived already. His presence would be noticeable without a crowd. Not to mention Adi was, as usual, one of the first ones there.

"Hello Professor," he said simply, a contrast to the more cheerful woman. Benny then made his way to a random seat away from his friend. He didn't want to run the risk of them being partnered up at the moment if he could help it. It was just too awkward.

Having skipped from the Great Hall to the History of Magic classroom, Marsha was grinning happily when she arrived. So, it was with a huge smile over her face that she followed the others, from lunch in to meet Professor Glendower. ”Good afternoon Professor.”

She handed the woman a small posy of pansies, in various shades of purple. Pansies were one of the only flowers that she knew anything about, but with a smile she handed them to her Professor. ”I found these outside… and well, the frost is starting to set in and pansies don’t do so well in the cold… and well, I thought you might like them for your office desk.”

…. She was babbling.

She’d never done anything like that before… she didn’t even know if Professor Glendower LIKED flowers… but really, they had been asked to enter respectfully… and she’d at the very least done that… right?

Handing the posy over, Marsha moved to take her seat, hoping that no-one had seen her mumbling away to the Professor like an idiot. Don’t mind us, just sitting back here. Quiet and silent. Yup.

Norah flounced into the History of Magic classroom with a winning smile on her face, head held high. Curtsying in front of Professor Glendower, she nodded her head regally and looked up to give her a little wave. "Hi Professor!" She made her hand into a cup shape and waved slowly and dramatically at the rest of the students before sliding into a seat near the front of the classroom. How was THAT for an entrance? They could just call her Queen Norah from now on, yep.

She laid her note taking materials on her desk, paying special attention to her new glittery silver ink. It got a special place 'cause it was the best part, yep yep yep. With a grin at Professor Glendower again, she sat straight up and interlaced her fingers on top of the desk. Royalty was respectful, everybody knew that.

History of Magic was not Clara's best or favourite subject by any means, but, it definitely wasn't her worst, either. She enjoyed learning things about the past .... especially names, dates, and little facts. She just had a knack for remembering them. So, when 1pm rolled around, she was already present and fresh faced in the HoM classroom.

Yes, she had noticed the extra quiet on her way to the classroom, but she wasn't going to complain.

Yes, she had noticed that 'make an entrance' sign, but did she really seem the type to make a dramatic entrance?

.......... No, definitely not.

The redhead slipped inside, at least observing the request to 'be polite'. That was the best that Professor Glendower would be getting from her. "Good afternoon, Professor," she said warmly, picking out a seat fairly near the front, before getting out her resources.

Eden was feeling kinda' sad today. She was....severely missing Phoenix...and she just...didn't wanna' feel like that right now. She followed in after Clara and didn't bother making an entrance.

"Professor Glendower--" she nodded at her and sighed a she slumped next to Clara. Did she have to talk? She just met eyes with Clara before shaking her head, as if to tell her not to ask.

Pulling out a notebook, she sighed and wondered if she'd feel like this until they went home for the holidays. She hoped not.

Henric walked into the classroom,history of magic..whoop whoop! Time to put more history knowledge into his long term memory brain. He stopped to read the sign,"Make an Entrance...Respectfully" Alright then he would try...he sauntered forward towards the smiling professor,"Hello Professor...I can't wait for your lesson to begin,"he greeted politely. He then faced the class and bowed as well,"Hello...umm..." He gulped, alright maybe not...he was going to pass on the dramatic entrance scene, that was Adi's thing not his."..well..nice to meet you all again...uhh....goodbye..."He briskly walked past them so he could seat at the back like always,"Oh hey Adi!"he waved.Where was Benny? Henric looked around and spotted him seated on the opposite side.Weird, didn't these two always seat together and not always at the back? He wanted to wave at Benny too but he didn't seem to look cheerful today.Hmm...oh well...he took a seat beside Adi. Whaat...this was his favourite spot. He even carved his name...not physically...but mentally...on this seat.Yup yup.

Rorie was quite happy she had decided to pull her rainbow locks in a bun today. Approaching the 'Make an Entrance' sign, she folded the sleeves of her robes up her arm and tied the tail to her waist.

Wobbling her way into the class, she kept her balance even. Can't land any roles with a broken wing, can she?

Brian was really not a huge fan of History of Magic, even if it did have one of the nicest professors of all time. It was just so sleep inducing and he wasn't fond of sitting and mugging dates and places. He wasn't about to skip a lesson, though. Hufflepuff needed the house points if they were going to defeat Gryffindor. Not too far away, now.

Entering the room and making a small bow towards Professor Glendower, he offered her a wide smile. "Good afternoon, professor. I hope you've had a good morning." Mmhm. Now he'd just find himself a seat somewhere in the back and maybe she'd be able to ignore him if he should fall asleep at any point during the lesson.

Making an entrance was always difficult when you weren't in an entrance-making mood. But Toby had come to realise over the past couple of years that when he didn't make an energetic, happy entrance to this class, a few people would always know something was up. So he did what he did best, and faked it 'til he made it.

Pausing outside the room to gather himself, Toby then ran and skidded into the classroom, sliding across the floor and doing jazz haaaands, with a big smile on his face. A smile that anyone who knew him well enough might recognise as completely forced.

The room set-up, that long table, the podium, none of it made Toby too curious, because Hogwarts. No one class was different to the next in this place, so he took it all in his stride as he went across to take his usual seat by one of the windows.

"Hey Professor, good to see you," he said simply, offering Glendower a little smile as he took a seat and got his things set up.

It was a class that she didn't really need for any reason, but Sophie Brown was keeping it for her NEWTs just because it would probably be a fairly easy O grade for her. Realistically, she could've been using this time to spend even more valuable time on subjects that needed her attention more - like Runes, for example - but when it came down to it, History of Magic was worth it. Glendower was plenty nice and it helped that Sophie had spent her youth absorbing as much information on the history of the wizarding world as she could, so... she had a good foundation of knowledge for lots of the things the professor threw at them.

One thing that Sophie never liked, though, was the whole... make an entrance deal. It was already a challenge for Soph to get people to think she wasn't conceited, and the whole "making an entrance" thing would just encourage people to think she enjoyed the spotlight and she didn't want people rolling their eyes at her for basking in the attention, if she entered the way she wanted to. Before she became a prefect, she wouldn't have cared as much, but now that she was a leader... well... she had to strive to keep a positive reputation, didn't she?

So, rather than making a big entrance, Sophie simply entered the room, gave a polite salute in greeting to Glendower, and offered up a nice, "Hi, professor. Hope you're well," before taking a seat. That was all from her, and the sixth year kept to herself as she got out her materials for class.

Everything was totally fine.

Sadly, he wasn’t in the mood to make the entrance. It was probably the weather, or he was getting old. He’s of age anyway, so probably he ought to stop the antics and just unleash his weird side when needed…like, during a class activity.

Ethan opened the door and peeked inside the classroom before entering. He had to make sure it was safe and whatnot. Spotting the professor and the long table before her, the Slytherin pushed the door open and entered the classroom. “Good day, Professor.” The fair haired teen grinned at the woman, and snagged a seat beside Zhenya. “Hey there, Z.” A friendly grin and wave was given, and took out his writing implements out after.

History of Magic...

It wasn't going to be too bad, he was going to live. It was just another lesson. He'd had them before, it was simply a matter of putting one foot in front of the other.

Despite entering through the door in a regular fashion - as he did now since the shine off it wore of quickly in his first year - he did notice the difference in the room. NO MUSIC. Thank Merlin.

"Hello, Professor Glendower," he greeted as he moved to take his usual seat.

And ... what was covered? Were they primary sources? Would they get to PLAY with historical things? Or were they dress props?

Time for another History of Magic lesson.

Hady could probably say she was ready for this one just as she normally was with all of her lessons. Stepping up to the door the brunette caught a glimpse of the same sign that had been hanging outside the door since her first day. And still she couldn't come up with an entrance that wouldn't make her feel stupid. Even if she could...dance...she wasn't about to go and show everyone. Nope no thank you.

So in a very normal and casually relaxed manner the third year opened the door to the room, brushed a strand of green hair back behind her ear which never seemed to stay in place and entered the room. "Hello, Professor. How are you?" she greeted warmly with a small wave of her hand before making way to her normal set and sitting down taking out her usual items of parchment, quill, and textbook.

Yes she had noticed the cloth covered table. And no she wasn't worried about what was underneath....just yet.

Making an entrance was always so freaking difficult, man. He still didn't understand why they had to do so in the first place and what even counted as making an entrance. Did it have to be big and dramatic or just different? Or was this just an activity on how to embarrass the students as best as possible. Because that was what making an entrance seemed to be about according to him. Pure and utter embarrassment.

Besides, he was good looking enough to make an entrance just by walking. No need to make a huge show about it.

Whatever. Grayson did make an entrance but by practically leaping into the classroom. Knees bent, a grin on his face and his arms outstretched, the boy posed at the front of the classroom, almost as if he was saying 'TA-DAAAAAAA'! Yeah, ta-da, the handsome seventh year was here. JAZZ HANDS.

Was he done embarrassing himself?

The answer was yes. Readjusting himself, the Slytherin threw a wink out to the audience -- none for the haters -- before turning his attention towards the History of Magic professor. "Hey, Professor Glendower." Smiles for her because she was cool and all. He then moved away to swagger over towards an empty seat and sit down. Ready to learn, yo.

And ready to find out what in the name of Merlin was under that cloth up there.

Angel couldn't wait for the first History of Magic Lesson to start, but first she had to make an entrance and today she had the perfect one, she walked towards the door before she stopped a few metres away and she went to the side of the door... she poked her head in for a few seconds before she went to the other side and did the same again.

Angel then rolled into the classroom and hid behind the Professor desk before she peeked her head up from behind it, looking around... she was so being a spy. "Hello Professor!" Angel smiled as she picked herself up from the floor. "How are you today?" Angel suddenly went and found herself a seat.

Zhenya was just setting up her things when she heard a ruckus. An ADI Ruckus. She looked up and watched Adi's fabulous entrance and it was so good she just had to clap! But the rude puffer walked straight past her to the back. She knew she was short but she wasn't THAT short. With a giggle, she packed up her things and put her things next to Adi, sitting down next to him. "Well hello Mr. I-just-walk-straight-past-my-friends-now-that-I'm-super-famous-singer," she said, laughing half way through. "That was great Adi!"


After a few more people walked in, Zhenya spotted another friend - a fellow SNAKE, walk in. No singing from him though. Tut-tut. Well, not like Zhenya sang upon her entrance, but she was greatly entertained by Adi's. She smiled as he sat down next to her. "Hiya E, how goes it?" she asked. Was that a weird way to talk? Hmm... no Zhenya didn't think so.

Seated waaaaay back at the classroom, Adi was able to have a good view of everyone entering the class as well as where they sat. As a result, he was able to see Benny the JEALOUS dragon make his sulky entrance. Adi momentarily forgot the two were not speaking and started to wave to him but caught himself when his hand was half way up. He quickly passed it off as rumpling up his hair. No, he was NOT waving to Benny.

Oh Merlin! Adi had not realised Zhenya had been in class. He looked sheepishly at his friend. "Sorry, fart buddy. I would never ignore you even when I become famous.'' Hehe. Yay! She was sitting next to him! "Thank you! You should have waited on me to do your entrance.'' That way he would be able to see it, you know. And, hey, Marsha! She was seated not too far away from him too.

Oh, looky! Henric! The cause of everything. Well, not really. Henric couldn't help it if he and Adi were good friends. "Nice entrance, Henny.'' Adi grinned but then it turned into a smirk. He shot a look in Benny's direction. Yeah, that's right. Henric sat by HIM! How did you like that, Benny? The sixth year Puff was still put off, hurt and a little angry that his best friend did not believe him. "Next time you need to do something like that. He pointed to Grayson and his weird pose. "Or we could do something together. So, Henny. Seen any dragons lately?" Adi said all of that loud enough hopefully for Benny to hear as he leaned back in his seat, glaring at the back of Benny's blond head. How he yearned to hex some sense into his brain.

Yeah he saw other students entering out of the corner of his eye as Benny tried not to pay attention. But it was Henric's that caught his gaze. The Gryffindor worked on getting out some parchment, ink and quill so he wasn't tempted to watch where the younger boy was headed for. Not that it mattered much as soon a familiar voice carried to his seat speaking a name that rhymed with his own misbegotten nickname.

He chanced a small look back to see Henric besides his bestie. Well Henric's bestie anyway....there taking that close spot. The sixth year quickly turned back around with a muted sigh. Guess I can finally drop that nickname anyway, he mused somewhat torn as he tried to distract himself. BEN hunching over the paper to put his name down and title his notes. He almost wished Angel had joined him when she entered and he could got her attention.

But no...he was better alone.

The hardest part about History of Magic wasn't even the history of magic. It was the entrances. No wait. Not that Zander didn't know how to make an entrance, because he did. But just the concept. Like there were only so many possibilities and so many ways to make an entrance. And Zander Adair was pretty sure he had tried them all... So what now?

These were the thoughts that kept him occupied during his entire walk down to class, which was a pretty long walk considering the starting point was all the way up in Gryffindor towers. Merlin. They should put classrooms closer to Gryffindor... or at the halfway point, y'know? Divination and Astronomy were great for that reason alone.

Anyways. Entrance. It was now or never.

On second thought, could Zander choose never? He wasn't really feeling the whole classroom thing today. Speaking of which... He had been going to this school for what--six years now? Had he taken a wrong turn or something? This place was uncharacteristically quiet... But before he could actually doubt himself, he noticed the familiar sign hanging upon the door and PHEW that's a relief.

Except it still meant he had to make an entrance... Uh. No music, so that knocked out the dancing-to-the-beat possibility. And the swaying thing. And then singing thing. You know, it was really hard to make an entrance without music. Never thought he'd say he missed it, but he did. Man. This was rough.

Zander probably spent a good five minutes standing just outside the classroom deep in thought. Okay, not all that deep in thought 'cause had he really been thinking that hard about it he would've been able to think of something. Eh, actually that was doubtful.

You know what? He was just gonna march into the room like a soldier. He lifted one knee then the other as stiffly as he could and made his way into the-- Oh. "Hi, Professor," he greeted her, accidentally breaking out of character in the process. But he couldn't help it. He was curious. What was she hiding under the cloth? OR MAYBE the cloth was the prop this time. Unlikely, but possible. "Are we gonna be ghosts today?" You know, wear the cloth over their heads like people did for Halloween? Man, Glendower was brilliant.

"You're not going to drop that nickname,aren't you?"Henric sighed, knowing Adi..nope.Henny sounded girly to him...it was like being called 'Annie' from that one musical muggle movie that played every year especially during the Christmas Special telecast.It was a coincidence though, she was an orphan and adopted like him too but it felt like Adi was expecting him to break out and sing "The sun will come out tomorrow!"..urgh no....not in a million lightyears.Anyway,he shook his head,"Narrh...I can't do that,Adi...too bright of a spotlight on me...but I have to admit, he has great jazz hands,"nodding agreeably about Grayson spectacular entrance. "Too bad I didn't see your entra-..." Henric paused and glanced to where Adi was looking at.Benny? Henric eyes went back and forth to these two.What was going on between these two? Strange..very strange...okayy...

"Uhh...no...not yet anyway,"he replied to Adi, raising an eyebrow at him too.Alright...there was something definitely fishy going on and he was intent to find out why..."Uh...Adi, are you alright mate?"

After getting some meals before the class, The Korean boy walked to the History of Magic classroom. This wasn't his greatest lesson (well, to be honest he's not really excelled in most lesson) but Professor Glendower was a fun teacher. Especially when he knew that she was a WADA alumni. Wohooo...

Making an entrance, right...

Well, what should he do? Jackson was a good in singing but just singing sounded... not really special. Okay. "Good day Professor," He greeted. "At first I thought I'm in heaven because I see an angel, right in front of me." HEHEHE. Micky taught him how to do that. "Don't tell me it's not worth fightin' for. I can't help it, there's nothin' I want more. You know it's true: Everything I do, I do it for you."

Jackson, stop. Now go to your seat.

He smiled and waved to some familiar face like Zhenya. Adi, and Ethan. He also waved to Henric, but he decided to take a seat a little bit far from him.
