Penelope liked to visit Professor Cassie. The divination professor always made Penelope happy. This term, Penelope had a new cat that she had brought with her to visit Professor Cassie. As she approached the door to Professor Cassie's office, she noticed that something was different this term. No bouncy chairs? Ooh, there was a sign on the door! She just had to knock before entering!

*knock knock knock*

Penelope had to put her cat down to knock on the door and to open the door. Picking up the cat again, she entered the office. "Professor Cassie?"

It was a new term and many new things. Like Libra her puppy bouncing around the room. "Shhhhh, we don't bark like that." She was at puppy daycare most of the time, but Cassie wanted her hear with her too. Sitting down on her chair, she fed the puppy a treat as Libra wagged her little tail. "You are just soooo cute." Snapping for the puppy as it begged.

Hearing a knock she turned her head, "Well hello Penelope!" Her first visitor of term, how wonderful. "Oh and who do you have here? Wait." She stopped and got up picking up Libra and placing her in her crate." "Okay now its safe for your little friend." Libra was good with Gemini and Aries, but she had gotten use to them, the puppy was a little too excitable for strange animals.

"Would you like some tea or hot chocolate?" Moving to her tea set she could make either, but she was very interested in Penelope's new friend. "Did you just get this little cutie?"

Lux really liked Professor Cassie because she reminded her a lot of herself, so she felt like it would be a great idea to pay a visit and catch up before the first Divination lesson of the term.

Approaching the office door, she noticed the absence of seating and wondered what happened. Seemed that there was no more waiting area. Did this mean that she could just knock and enter?

Knock. Knock. Knock.

Slowly the redhead opened the door and peeked inside. "Professor Cassie?"

Making herself tea, she didn't think Penelope answered, so maybe she didn't want any, well that was fine too. So she made her cup and sat down to see the furry friend a little closer. "He is beautiful. I just love his fur and his energy." Very positive vibes coming from this one. "Hmm names are very important. I tend to look to the stars and astronomy for names." Which was true for her entire family.

She was sitting in her little knock reading the quibbler when she started to chock on a sugar quill. "OHMYGRACIOUS" Was she reading that correctly? No, there was no way, but sugar quill was now stuck in her throat and she was coughing and needing a drink. Flicking her wand quickly she got a glass of water just as the door opened.

Sweet Merlin just what she needed someone to see her chocking. Holding up a hand to show she was fine and to give her a second, Cassie took some water and settled down the coughing. "Oh Lux I'm so sorry, Sugar Quill just didn't like me for a second." giving an apologetic smile she set down the water and moved towards the couch. "What brings you in today?"

Making his way up the stairs to the Divination Tower, Leo tried to remember when he had last been up here. It must have been back in his school days since Cassie for some reason always ending up coming down to the library to seek him out.

Carrying a bouquet of a dozen pink roses Leo kept his eyes on the stairs and its surroundings. He was not about to let these flowers get into the hands of anyone other than Cassie. Stopping outside her door he raised his right hand to knock on her door.

Taking a step back, Leo hoped that she was in and not too busy.

Hearing a bunch of coughing, Lux started to worry that something was wrong with Professor Cassie. Maybe she was coming down with a cold or something. Concerned, she stepped into the office to see the woman with a glass of water. Aaah, she just had a mishap with a Sugar Quill was all. "You're all right now?" Looked to be, but you know... it was good to ask since coughing on food wasn't nice.

Why was she here? That was a valid question, Lux supposed. "I just wanted to say hi and see how you are doing." Professor Cassie was the kind of Professor one could have small talk with and not feel like she was wasting time, unlike Professor Bellaire.

"Leo those are gorgeous." Beaming she went to get up, but not before Libra came barking from the nook. "Libra no, sit." She shook her head and laughed, "She's still learning, but won't harm a fly." Her little puppy just wanted to give everyone loves and soon she was chasing her tail.

Putting her hands out to take the flowers she lifted on her tiptoes and gave the librarian a nice kiss on the cheek. "Whatever did I do to deserve these?" Though she didn't mind gifts, especially such beautiful flowers.

"Well isn't that sweet of you. I'm doing just perfect." Which she really was, how couldn't she be. Term had started, the students were back and having a good time it seemed. All was just wonderful. "How are you doing?" She always liked to know how her students were. She couldnt' believe how much she truly cared and worried about each of them. "Excited for term?" Of course she was though, who wouldn't be.

Cinna wasn't going to lie professor Cassie was one of her favorite professors. She would even go as far to say that she was her favorite. She had been in baking mood all Morning and had made some for the professors. So course she would bring her some of the cinnamon rolls that she had made. And visit for a bit.

Tea readings and a cinnamon roll sounded like a perfect way to take her mind off of things. So... all she had to do was knock and poke her head in? Cool more professors should be like this. She tapped on the door, "Professor Cassie?" She figured that she knew she was there by the smell of the cinnamon rolls. Cinna was here!

Cassie was busy doing Yoga with all her extra hot chocolate drinking last term she decided to keep up with her fitness a bit more by taking time out for Yoga every day. So moving her furniture around she did her stances. Just moving into downward dog she heard the door. "Come in" She finished the stretch before standing.

"Oh Cinna, hello there. How are you?" She always enjoyed seeing the students. Getting a smell of the scent that followed she smiled, "You brought a treat." See this was why she was doing the Yoga. "Would you like some tea or hot chocolate?" She moved towards the table to begin making whatever the child would like.

These cinnamon rolls were really starting to smell good. She was so tempted to go ahead and take just one from the Chinese take out box. No one would know right? Right. Her hand was just above the flap of the box when she heard professor Cassie tell her too come in. She pushed the door open a bit and on in. "Yoga?" Her dad liked to have the guys do some before practices and matches. Hehe...

Anyway. It was good to see her. "I'm great. How about you?" She sat down in a seat. Sitting the box of cinnamon rolls on her lap. "I did." She said with a smile. She may have gone a bit over board with the baking today. "Mmm tea would be great." Yeah, not quiet hot chocolate weather for her yet. Tea was good.

It was a relief to know that Professor Cassie was okay, because Lux had no idea how she would have been able to help besides running off to find another Professor. "I'm glad to hear that," she said as she made her way over to the couch. A hot drink was offered, and that sounded wonderful. "I would love some hot chocolate, thanks." It had been a while and hot chocolate was always her favourite.

"I'm happy to hear that you're doing well. I'm okay, but I'm missing my boyfriend and stressing over the O.W.L.s already." Siiiiigh. This was going to be a long term, hopefully nothing too crazy would happen during it. Who knew with Hogwarts.

Hearing Cassie's faint voice coming from inside the office Leo opened the door with his free hand and headed inside. He saw a beaming Cassie before he spotted the crup that came barking at him from the nearest nook. He was glad he hadn’t brought along Madonna. Crouching down to give Libra a pet on the head he said "She is just protecting her owner. Isn't that a cups instinct?"

Giving Cassie the flowers he felt his face go warm as he blushed and murmured. "Nothing, I just wanted to give you something nice for you being you," If that made sense? "And I wanted to make up for the rose you didn’t get at the start of the year."

Returning her kiss with a hug Leo asked "Do you want to go bake muffins or did I interrupt something important?"

You are very young yet." She didn't want in her students business and she was certainly not really talking about the dating. "Don't forget to have fun with friends and enjoy being young just because Bay isn't around." She didn't need a sad badger moving around the castle.

She couldn't help but sigh when Lux talked about OWLs, "Yes, fifth year can be stressful, but it's still very early in the term try not to stress too much. Take your time and work on one subject each day throughout the term so that you don't feel like you are rushing or cramming at the end. " That was probably about the only advice she had for the fifth year.

"She's just being overly friendly. She just loves company." Cassie chuckled at the now calming pup. Though watching her roll to her belly she giggled. "Libra you would let anyone in here that would give you belly rubs." Silly goose and her little pink dress wasn't going to let many rub her belly anyway. She shooed the dog toward her doggie bed so she could focus on Leo.


Wasn't he the sweetest thing EVER! She took the flowers and flicked her wand getting a vase with water to put them in. Setting them on her table she decided it was the perfect place. "Oh Leo dear you really didn't have to do that. I didn't mind at all that Annie got the rose. It was super cute of you to do even if it ended up with the wrong person. Plus I think it made her night, so it was a win win." She beamed up at him. Such a thoughtful man.

He was hugging and she surely hugged back before letting go. "Oh the muffins, yes that will be fun. I'm not doing anything important." Glancing are her papers, they could wait.

She smiled as she made her way to her tea table, "Yes, I try to do yoga a few days a week. It's good for the body as well as opening the mind." Something that in her profession was a good thing to have. "Do you like Yoga?" Some people did and others didn't it seemed. Making two cups of tea she brought them both over and sat down on the couch.

"Those Cinnamon Rolls smell delicious, did someone send them to you?" Maybe she had the House Elves make them. Those little creatures were so amazing at cookie and baking. She just appreciated them so much. Handing over the tea she smiled, "So what can I do for you today dear?"

"I have never owned a pup or a dog for that matter but I’m sure she’ll become a better guard dog as she grows older. It’s in their natures to guard their owners I’ve read somewhere." Leo said with a glance over at the pup waddling over to her doggie bed.

Blushing he said softly "So you really didn't get mad at all? I didn't plan for the rose to get into the wrong hands. It just happened. I left it for you on your dinner plate to find and Annie stole it. When she got so happy about it I couldn't bring myself to say that it wasn't really meant for her."

"Splendid! Let's go right away to the kitchens then?" he asked. Holding out his hand to Cassie he wondered "Have you ever tried muffins with bananas in them?"

Yummy. Hot chocolate. Tea was amazing, but she definitely loved hot chocolate because it tasted amazing. "I definitely want marshmallows," she said in reply to the question. Marshmallows were amazing and they always made hot chocolate taste even better.

Carefully listening to Professor Cassie's advice Lux appreciated that there was no judgement in what she was saying. "I am glad you aren't saying anything about disproving," she admitted. "I know the Healer disapproves." Healer Murdoch had certainly made her opinion on the matter very clear. The studying advice was also really helpful. "That's a great help. Thank you so much. I will definitely do that. I admit that part of me worries about the Divination exam because sometimes I feel like I don't really have the inner eye." Though she had managed to find her teddy bear using the crystal and her scrying was okay. She'd definitely have to practice as hard as possible to try and master her divining.

"Marshmallows coming up." Cassie grinned and added them to the hot chocolate. Many children seemed to like the marshmallows so she wasn't all that surprised. Finished up with the hot chocolate she made her way to the couch and sat down. Carefully handing over the mug to Lux. "If you want more it's right over there." She pointed to the bag of marshmallows. That was up to them how many they actually wanted.

Disapproving? "Why on earth would I be disapproving. It's not my place to tell you who you can and can not date, but I just want you to be happy and know that you are still being a part of the term with friends and school not just sitting around missing someone." That would not be healthy or good at all.

She listened as she spoke about studying and frowned as she said she was worried about Divination, "Oh Lux, you will do brilliant. You are very good in my class and even though not everyone has an inner eye that wakes easily, I think if you put your mind to it and practice you are sure to get it soon!" Practice was always the key.

Ruby had thought about just casually ignoring the summons to Professor Morgan's office, but then decided just to get it over with or whatever. At least she wasn't mean like Bellaire.... so far anyway. Ruby knew better than to trust what a professor might be like behind closed doors. She knocked four times and then waited, hoping it would be over with quickly.

Once class was over and the door was locked, Cassie made her way back to her office. Setting down her kitty purse and letting Aries and Gemini out so they could make their way to their kitty bed. Whistling happily she couldn't have thought the lesson would go any better. Sitting down on her couch she opened the Quibbler to see what was going on in the world.

Hearing a knock she looked up and flicked her wand. "Come in." Thinking she knew who was behind the door she got up leaving her magazine on the couch and went over to grab some cups. If she didn't want tea maybe she'd like Hot Chocolate. Oh and she had a few books she wanted, so she pulled her wand and had the books sit on the desk.

Yaaay, marshallows. They made so many things better because they were magical. Happily she took the mug while being careful not to burn herself because it was warm. Actually, it felt nice against her hands. "Thanks!" It tasted really good too.

It was really nice to hear that Professor Cassie wasn't being judgy and honestly it wasn't surprising either. Even though she didn't care what people thought, people could be downright rude about Bay and it ticked her off. "I'm keeping myself really busy right now and it's nice." Not only was it a nice distraction, but she loved having things to do. "I'm working on the Potions workshop this term and I am so excited to brew my invention." It was going to be wonderful.

She was good in the class? Honestly that was a pleasant surprise because sometimes she was really hard on herself. Well, more than sometimes... "You know, I think I felt it when using the crystal. I still use it sometimes, and I always feel a connection every time I do." That crystal was amazing and sometimes she used it like a magic eight ball.

Hopefully this wouldn't take too long. Ruby didn't want to be anywhere near any professor's office for longer than she had to and besides, if she was about to lose Hogsmeade privileges again, she'd rather it be like a bandaid and happen quickly.

A 'come in' sounded harmless enough.... Ruby entered the room and looked round warily.

"You wanted to see me, professor." Just a reminder that she wasn't here on her own accord.

Sipping her drink she listened to Lux, "Busy is good as long as busy is fun! You should never do anything that you aren't having fun with." Well she knew classes could be the exception, but really people could make classes fun as well! She always did even ones that seemed to always be over her head. "Oooh potions, that sound super fun. What are you going to invent?" Could she ask that? Well she just did. Hehe!

How could she not beam! This was just ah-mazing! *SNAPS* "I knew you could get it! It just takes practice, I couldn't explain that enough last term. You can not master the art in just a day. I'm sooooo happy it is working for you!" That was just wonderful!!

She would never say no to sweets, but she knew other people might. No biggie either way. Turning back to her tea pot she slipped the peppermint leaves in. "Ruby I'm sooo glad you are here. I wanted to talk a bit about today's lesson."


Nothing bad, just a small chat would do just fine!

"Yes. Yoga is nice." She didn't do it alot, okay she had done it maybe once or twice. But it was a good way to stretch out and like Cassie said good for opening your mind. She smiled and took one of the tea cups.*

She took a sip of tea. Man these cinnamon rolls were going to go good with this tea. She nodded, "They do!" She sit her tea cup down for a more minute to pick up the box and hold it up in front of her. "No, I made them." She was kind of famous for them she opened the box up and took a big sniff ahhhh yummy. "I wanted to bring you some of these." She said with a smile. Maybe a little tea reading or some thing. Hehe

"Do you do Yoga often? I would love to start a group or something. I use to have one that I'd go to weekly, but I haven't been since I started working here. It would be fabtastic to start one here." She snapped with her one free hand. Sipping her tea she smiled, "So how has term been so far?" She enjoyed asking her students how they were doing. It was fun to listen to them, but she always secretly hoped for nothing but good things.

"You made these. OHMYGOSH, that is so fun!" Taking one she bit into it. OHMYGOSH this was the best cinnamon roll she had ever tasted! "These are delish how did you learn to make these so good? I can barely make box meals." That was an add information she probably didn't need to share, but HELLO shoes in her oven at home. "I always rely on the house elves to make things for me, but maybe I should be asking you." Goodness these were wonderful and she couldn't help but take another bite.
