Eden + a thin jacket = Hogsmeade ready. She had not official plans. No dates. From....anyone.

Which wasn't bothering her at all. No Valentine's day plans? At all? Really? REALLY, CUTTY, PHE, OR COLE? But...she was doing her best to just....make it special for Clara, because Clara was her clear soulmate, regardless of her....immense amount of love for the male species.

Pfft.

She pushed her way into Honeydukes, taking her cap off and clipping it to her jeans, her blue eyes finding the chocolate immediately. Time to get some GREAT candy for Clara Wilde....her one true love.

Questionable.

Unlike her fellow Ravenclaw, Maddie didn't plan on buying anything for anyone else while she was here. Y'see, Maddie's one great love was HERSELF. Yeah, the whole running slow motion into your love's arms through a field of daisies thing? She'd run into her OWN arms if she could. She was just THAT great. Still, purchasing sweets could wait given Eden of the garden variety was here and on her own. Her lack of a companion made the third year wonder.

"Being a lone wolf today?" She stepped up to the shelf and admired the chocolates. "Probably good on account of that means you get to talk to me instead of whoever you'd be stuck with had you had a DATE today."

COOOOPER. Eden waved at the younger 'claw and didn't hug her because she knew the girl didn't liiiiiiike hugs that much. How was this child friends with Kyroh? He LOVED hugs, didn't he? Hmm. Interesting.

"Um--so far, yeah--" Thanks for pointing it out, Maddie Cooper. Eden wasn't annoyed, though, more amused, and she chuckled as she eyed all of the CANDEH. "I think Valentine's day should be about all love anyways. And since you're my friend, I have some amount of affection for you. Therefore, happy Valentine's day, Maddie of the car variety--" she said and grabbed a standard chocolate frog. Oh. She should get her Mam something, too. She'd think it was sweet and all that nonsense. Hadn't Irene mentioned liking Cauldron Cakes when Cutty and his mum had come over? SO yeah..where were those things?

"You don't have a companion either, love--" she said, eyeing the girl's shirt, which was...rockin'. She liked the girl's style.

Bit EARLY for all the mushy talk, McGee. Like Maddie wasn't exactly SUPER comfortable with the L word and she certainly wasn't excited for a day DEDICATED to it so let's not rush its arrival, mmkay? Still, she DID like Eden and so she responded, "Yeah, you too." See? SO nice.

"I'm an independent woman, Eden." Maddie became particularly interested in a chocolate dragon for Kyroh reasons and she tilted her head, thinking it could DEFINITELY be bigger. OR they could have melted chocolate over fruit if Dima wanted to help with THAT. Hm. "Plus I figure I'll bump into Kyroh or Dot or Dima or Noel at SOME point." Shrug. Not too worried about it, obviously. And lol, when did she get all these friends? Proper friends. It was really weird.

"You got one of those valentine people lined up, then?" She was just asking.

Eden glanced her way at the...'you too.' Kid had emotional issues, yeah? Eden felt like not saying words of affection was a....indicator. Since when did she just....look at people and ANALYZE them? Merlin. She needed to stop doing it. But she almost couldn't help it...Ravenclaw brain and all.

"Yes, you are...props to you--I'll never be independent--" she said with a soft chuckle. Contrary to popular about Eden Patricia McGee------her heart was most certainly taken. BY whom? HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAH no one knew. Eden didn't even know. One of those boys. Who knew.

The Irish girl needed to get her....ahem, stuff together with her love life but what was the fun or POINT in that? She was only sixteen--so close to seventeen she wanted to snatch the seven to replace the six herself--but that was still young. YOUNG, WILD, AND FREE, RIGHT? Wasn't that a saying...thing? YEAH? EDEN WAS YOUNG AND WILDE AND FREE.

Only not free because lulz, she was a slaaaaave to her feelings.

Meeention of Kyroh. "Oy--is Kyroh okay?" she asked, concerned. "He's been weird lately." Weirder than usual, Maddie. Not normal Kyroh. "He gave me...food off his plate the other day. You're close to him? Worries me--" she was rambling because she was simultaneously reading the back of a packaging on a chocolate........calories. And stuff.

"Um..not yet." She siiiiighed and brushed her hair from forehead. "Phoenix......might get me something. I doubt...Cutty will.." she snorted as she pulled down another....interesting chocolate. Hmm. "And...Cole..." she didn't expect him to GET her anything but maybe to...send her a LETTER? "It's better not to expect something. So that when it doesn't happen, you don't get it disappointed." She said with a cynical sigh.

"I'm not sure it could be learned but I can see if there's a book on it for you?" Considering how much time she'd spent in the library lately, it would hardly be going out of her way. Besides, it wasn't healthy to depend on other people all the time. People had a way of letting you down, y'know?

Kyroh. Was Kyroh okay? Maddie tapped her chin thoughtfully after returning the chocolate dragon to the shelf. "He's a BOY. A TEENAGE boy. He's probably going THROUGH stuff." Changes, yeah? THAT was in books too. Sheesh, Eden. Maybe SHE should be the one hanging out in the library. As for the whole Kyroh sharing thing, Maddie didn't find that weird at all. "He's got a big heart, Freckles does. Maybe he was just being nice." Or maybe he just wasn't hungry. Or MAYBE he thought his food was a bit funky and wanted to test it out on Eden first. All perfectly logical explanations.

"Phoenix, the guy that dresses like he's always on the runway?" When he wasn't in a uniform, that is. "He has cool hair. I STILL think you should date Cutty. I'm PRETTY sure he's some kind of evil genius. I'D go after him but I don't want to be tied down by a boyfriend." Maddie smiled earnestly and shrugged her shoulders. As for Cole, he looked VERY much like a boy Maddie was practicing lip locking with and she didn't say much about him or that. "You should be your OWN valentine. Get yourself chocolates and treat yourself to like, a bubble bath or something."

HA! A book on it. Of course there was. And of course Maddie, as a Ravenclaw, would think it would help. And of COURSE, Eden as ANOTHER Ravenclaw, was actually considering it. "That might be helpful," she said thoughtfully, rubbing her chin. Hmph.

"Oh, I know. He does. He's just the sweeeetest little guy," she said, smiling, gathering all of the candy she had picked out. "And yeah...teenage thing...sure." She could buy that argument. So she pushed it out of her mind and figured Kyroh was just.....changin' and whatnot. Hmph. Poor kid. He probably just needed lots of hugs.

Did Eden ASK for her opinion? Her cheeks reddened instantly at the Cutty comment--"Um--yeah Phe---is an amazing dresser um---" she blinked. "Cutty and I? Oh--ha--did I say his name?" She remember the Slytherin asking her to shush about them. "I didn't mean that. We're not a..nope. We're nothing. Who's Cutty, again?" she asked, trying to look confused. Maybe it would through Maddie off.

She was terrible at this. And a terrible actor.

"Well--we can start a 'I don't want to be tied down by a sig-other' club." She said and she snooorted and she laughed until---wait.

Eden had to.....stare at her for a minute. "Oh---please, Maddie. I don't think you're his type----and he's not yours----nope." Oh. Wasn't she pretending she didn't know Cutty? But-----MADDIE COULD NOT GO AFTER CUTTY. That was HERS.

Caleb probably didn't need a whole lot of sugar, but it was a great study aid. Really. Until he crashed, then it was not so great.

His stash of chocolate frogs was sooooo low, as were his jelly slugs. He NEEDED the jelly slugs to pay attention to his History of Magic notes - if he didn't get some soon, he was soooooo going to fail at OWL.

Browsing the shelves, Caleb tapped his chin thoughtfully. He COULD really go all out - he had plenty of Christmas money still to use - but he also didn't want to gain a ton of weight due to stress. Ugh. This was hard.

Margo had her arms full of chocolate frogs, jelly slugs, bertie botts, couldron cakes, and a little bit of everything else in the shop. Her arms were full to the bursting! Margo was a short girl, so with the mounds of sweets and candies in her arms she couldn't even see over the top of the boxes. She just hoped really that everyone would get of her way as she made her way up to the counter to pay for her treats.

Her mother had sent her some pocket money for Christmas, and she was going to spend every last penny of it on candy!! That's what normal 11 year olds did right? Good, so smiling moving around people the best she could see anyway, Margo started to head toward the counter.

But.....then Margo bumped into something...or someone maybe making her drop all of her boxes. "HEY!" Margo complained looking at what barrier was in her way of her treats. "Couldn't you see I was walking here!" Margo said rather rudely....taking a deep breath, Margo sighed....."Oops, I'm sorry, I didn't mean that." Ugh now Margo was even more embarassed by the way she behaved.

"He IS sweet. Dima too. That's why I need to look out for them." And then Maddie gave Eden a LOOK for REASONS. Also, was she really buying all of that? Seemed like a waste of money.

Oh, blushing. "You're really red." Maddie knew WHY too. She'd read all about blushing. Has to do with the blood vessels and the rush of blood to the face and she could EXPLAIN but then Eden started being all suspicious and Maddie lost her desire to tell her anything. She wanted to ask questions now instead. "Why are you suddenly acting SO weird? Did you know you're making it MORE obvious that there IS something going on by denying it so much? You're SORT of a terrible liar. Bet Cutty could help you with that." Just saying.

Wait, she wanted to start a CLUB? lol no. That wasn't something Maddie would be involved in. It was a nice gesture though. Maybe.

"My type is talented." So yeah, all KINDS of people were her type. But Eden? She was only 14, remember? She wasn't going AFTER anyone. Not YET, anyway. Calm yourself. As for HER not being HIS type, "How do you know WHAT his type is if you don't know him?" Eyebrows were raised, Maddie grinned, and then she went on to check out the fudge.

Eden knew she was red. SHE KNEW IT, MADDIE. But she just controlled her breathing and tried to seem.........casual. Casual McGee should be her name.

Especially since Caleb Newell was now in the candy shop...she KNEW Cutty and Caleb were like...TIGHT. So she just wanted to SHUSH Maddie but..alas, she just siiiiiiighed. "Right. Right. He probably could." Merlin's pants. "And I KNOW his type because I'M his type." There. She said aloud before she KNEW she was saying it aloud and wekhwfihirfhihgierghiegh

"Don't--" she put her finger to her lips--"Don't repeat that I ever said that. Ever." This conversation was a failure on the part of Eden. And to top it all off, she still resembled a cherry.

Subject change? Could she request that, DJ? "So how's your snogging game going then?" Eden was trying to make MADDIE blush now, but she honestly doubted the kid was able to. Maddie seemed..unashamed of anything.

Caleb was used to people bumping into him at the store - after all, these were very small stores PACKED with kids rushing to get their sugar fix on. That didn't excuse the RUDENESS, however, and Caleb blinked a bit in shock as a young Hufflepuff girl not only BARRELED into him, but had the nerve to blame him! Sure, she apologized, but was that only because she had seen the badge on his chest? HMMMM?

"Hey me? Hey YOU," Caleb grumbled in return. He should have probably helped her pick up her boxes - but then would she ever learn a lesson? NOPE! It was his job as prefect to bestow wisdom upon the younger students, right? Well that was definitely what he was doing, then.

"You really ought to be more careful in here, it's always really crowded," he told her, his attitude thinning a bit as he gave her another great piece of prefect-ly advice. So she wouldn't go running into people again and insulting them.

Ugh, face palm! Margo didn't mean to be rude to the older student. She usually wasn't this mean to people she has never met before. "Well your big feet were kind of in the way." Margo teased. She hoped that this would break the ice."I can see it's crowded, this is my first time to the village" Margo told the boy.

"I'm Margo by the way." She said bending down to start picking up her boxes that had fallen to the floor. She didn't want her treats to get stepped on.

Now, Yes. Austin had eaten all of Ophelia's sweets. And, yes, he didn't care about it. At the time. But as the two had parted ways that evening, Austin felt bad. Even if they were kind of stale and old, she had brought them as a peace offering. She brought them because she knew he wasn't feeling well, and because they were fighting. They might have just been some stale gummy bears. But they meant a lot to the Ravenclaw. It meant that she wanted to make up, to be friends. And that was something Austin had wanted since the beginning of the term.

So that was why he was here. He could have easily stayed in his dorm and done schoolwork, or explored the castle more. But at the end of the day, he still would have felt bad. He browsed the shops, hoping to find gummy bears. Weren't they a muggle candy though? Did Honeydukes even sell muggle candy? He guessed he was about to find out.

WELL. Maddie stopped what she was doing and eyed Eden thoughtfully. So SHE was Cutty's type AND hanging out with him, even though THAT bit was being denied. HELLO. Hanging out with an evil genius who LIKED you meant you could snatch him up easy peasy. WHY Eden hadn't figured that out, Maddie wasn't sure. She DID know the older girl could be a bit slow on the uptake sometimes.

"No one tells me what to do." And Maddie obviously told Kyroh and Dima stuff because she figured that's how it was meant to be. Best friends and all, y'know? "But I'm also NOT about to go around talking about you being in love with Cutty or whatever because it doesn't really concern me much." Shrug. Truthfully, she just wanted to get the information out of her and she'd succeeded. Mission accomplished.

Deciding she didn't WANT chocolate, Maddie headed down the aisle a bit, still within ear-shot of the older girl. It would be RUDE to just completely freak her out and then leave. Even MADDIE knew that.

"S'going swimmingly." Sorry, McGee. Maddie didn't blush. "Noel Wallace and I have an agreement." And that was all the needed to be said about THAT.

Good, he was following her. Lux had expected as much because no one could resist candy. It was one of her favourite things in the whole world.

Entering the shop, she looked around excitedly. Where to begin? Of course she would be picking up more Chocolate Frogs, but there were loads of other things to buy and as long as they weren't Cockroach Clusters or Jelly Slugs she was game for just about anything and everything.

OOOOOOH, THERE WAS FUDGE!!!

Beaming, Lux practically dragged James over to it. "Let's stuff ourselves full of fudgey goodness!" Maybe that would help him to forget about girl troubles for a bit since he wasn't in the talking mood. "And no talking about leaving right now, because I don't want you to Graduate." She was trying to make things fuuuun not sad.

James followed behind Lux half begrudgingly half amused as he watched her basically bounce around the candy stands. At least she was having fun. He let her drag him over to the fudge and shrugged, "I don't really feel like fudge Lux." But he still followed her.

He laughed a little as he heard her say she didn't want him to graduate. "Well shortly after you will be graduating too so there's that. I think I'm going to school in Athens." He picked up a chocolate bar and put it back down. He still hoped Vinnie would go to school with him too but...that was another conversation all together. "Okay...how about what are you doing for summer?"

He didn't really want fudge? Oops. Lux felt a little bad for dragging him along, but James didn't really seem to mind so it probably was okay really. "We can get some of whatever you want then," she said with a smile before selecting some maple and milk chocolate for herself. Oooh, there was also something called chocolate dragon which sounded so good that she grabbed some of that as well.

The laughter was a good thing, so Lux was pleased to hear that. She was also quite pleased at the prospect of Graduating in a few terms. Hogwarts was lovely but she hated being away from Bay so much and wanted to go to school to become a Potioneer. "Athens, huh? That sounds quite exciting and exotic." She herself would be going to school in London, which wasn't exotic but that didn't matter to her. "Well, besides seeing everyone I think I will travel somewhere like usual. Just not sure where yet. What about you?" Did he have any exciting plans for the summer before starting off at school in Athens?

Eden WAS APPALLED. SHE QUICKLY SCOFFED SO HARD. SO. Hard. "EDEN MCGEE IS NOT IN LOVE WITH ANYONE!" she cried, practically across the shop.

BUT MADDIE HAD TO KNOW! Eden marched over to her and looked at her with WIIIIIIIIiIIIIIIIDE eyes. "I am not. AM NOT. Nope. Never--I will never do that--I refuse--" she did refuse. Nope. Not happening ever. "And--well--my love life is so boring--let's not--let's talk about something else." Please.

AN AGREEMENT? Merlin. Maybe Maddie and Cutty were in fact MEANT FOR EACH OTHER? The thought alone made her cringe, though. Ugh. "An...agreement? Oh? Did you put it in writing?" Because if it wasn't in writing, then you could change it as much as you please. Which is what Cutty did often...with their agreements. Though she was no longer snogging him for candy. So that was.....yeah.

Janelle was super excited to be taking her very first trip into Hogsmeade. The first stop on her list was Honeydukes. As she entered the shop, she was immediately in awe. So many goodies to choose from. It was a sugar lovers paradise.

Janelle wondered when Hady would arrive. They had agreed to meet each other in the sweet shop and there was so much fun to be had. While she waited, Janelle looked at the menu and peered into the various case. Maybe she would have some idea of what to buy by the time Hady got there. This was going to be a fantastic day.

"And here we are, the candy shop." See? He TOLD them he knew where this place was. It was one of the first places the fourth year made note of when he got here. One did not overlook a candy shop, not unless they had a full bag of candy which he never ever did.

Once inside, Jamie lifted the camera to his face again and began snapping shots...because he didn't have any of in here and it was probably allowed so long as he wasn't snapping at the guy's face--hang on. They'd known each other for a whole twenty minutes and all Jamie knew was that he was 'this guy'.

Curiously, the Gryffindor turned to him, lowering the camera once more. "Hey mate," 'cause when you took someone to the candy shop and they bought you butterbeer you were obviously friends, obviously, "don't think I caught your name."

CANDY!!!!! Yes. FINALLY. Sander was never more happy to see a crowded sugar stockpile chock full of people shorter than him. He would take one of everything, please. But first, he was a man of his word. And he'd buy the little bugger who'd led him here a treat.

"So, whaddaya want?" he nudged the kid, probably messing up the focus of whatever he was taking a picture of now. As for himself, Sander grabbed a basket and really, truly did start loading it up with all the things he hadn't seen before.

Who was calling him mate though? He tucked a bit of his long red hair behind an ear and did a double-take at the Camera Face. "Me? Oh. Yeah. I'm Sander, short for Aleksander but nobody calls me that. And you're.......?" A kid? Yeah, he didn't have to tell him his name because Camera Face was much more fitting.

Hopefully they'd lost Cat Chaser on their way over here, that would be grrrrrreat. He was a real sourpuss. GEDDIT?

Where else would a twelve year old go really? One could never have enough of a hidden sugar rush supply and she was running low. So meeting up here with Janelle sounded like a prefect idea. Have some fun with a new friend, stock up on candy, what more could a kid ask for?

Slipping into the store the brunettes eyes wandered over the menu list checking out the days deals before letting her gaze sweep over everyone inside. Ah ha! There she was. Moving around some people and peering into some containers the young girl made her way to Janelle lightly tapping the girl on the shoulder from behind. "Hey, finally found you" She laughed. "This place is a little more busy then I thought it'd be already."

He had no reason to come in here and he wasn't going to, but his curiosity of the stranger had him following. The man seemed a bit lame so far, but still Bart followed. Entering the candy store he looked around. Maybe he'd pick up something for Cinna, she'd enjoy some more candy. Plus he knew by now he was probably late to meeting her.

What time was it?

Didn't matter he wasn't leaving this place without seeing what this dude was really up to. He'd kick himself if it turned out he really was a kid snatcher and Bart missed out on the fun. "Do you play quidditch or anything?" As he walked up beside them, something had to be interesting about this guy. He had to find the reason to be following him. "Jamie I think you found a better spot for pictures. You'll find hotter girls here that the camera will like better then back alleys." Maybe he should start carrying a camera. Hmm that wasn't a bad idea, this housemate might be on to something.
