The month of July had approached quite rapidly one or many would say. Just about reaching the half-way mark of the entire length of the Summer break. Still though, a good amount of hopefuls would be leaving momentarily to embark on the trip. As planned, Librarian Mr. Kitridge and the Creature Professor Thompson awaited with their own belongings at the station.

"Not too shabby, is it?" Javy addressed to Leo their choice of a location to meet up. To think there will be a whole week of adventure awaiting them all. He casually leaned up against the wall while surveying for incoming students.

Zander was here. Fortunately or unfortunate, he couldn't quite figure it out. When he first heard about the trip it sounded SUPER fun. So of course he had signed up. Except, he mostly felt obligated to sign up... You know... Since he had the Prefect thing and all that. Needed to prove his worth after... Well, you know.

But now he was kind of bummed about the whole thing? Damien wasn't sure if he was going. Kevin wasn't allowed couldn't go for... obvious reasons. Sophie hadn't really said she was going. TiaMarie and Lux weren't going. WHO WAS ACTUALLY GOING?

Also uh, how come he was one of the first student at the meeting spot? This was not okay. SIGH. Time to make awkward conversation with Professors that he didn't really know all too well...... Thompson was kind of intimidating, did he know? "Hi, Professor Thompson," and uh, what are you supposed to call the librarian exactly? "Hello, Mr. Kitridge." Mister. Right? That was always an appropriate title, yeah? "I'm very excited for this week!" That was also very much so a lie. Because how was he supposed to be excited when WHERE WERE HIS FRIENDS... Ja feel?

So uh. FRIENDS??????

This whole thing was problematic. Problematic that there was no Tobes, that she couldn't stay held up in her house finding ways to distract herself, and... instead, she would be in the presence of people who would remind her of the things she was trying to forget about.

But the two best things about this trip were the people already present in the train station when Sophie Brown arrived: she still had Javy, who knew what she was going through, and Zander, who was... well. She didn't want to think about all that he was to her right now, but... Tobes would be happy for her, right? Happy about this? Happy that she was... living?

Trying to keep that in mind, Sophie approached two of her favorite professors and her best friend, giving them a little mock salute. "Gentlemen," was her choice of greeting, giving Javy a playful shove and sticking her tongue out at him as she passed by before standing next to Zander and looping her arm with his.

Hey, Zanderpander. Hey.

All set and ready to go.

Okay good, Margo had turned in her permission slip! And she was ready for this field trip! It was going to be so much fun! She couldn't believe that the end of the term and come up so quickly. So smiling, and hoping to see some familiar faces, and meet new friends she had her mom drop her off at Hogsmead stations and was ready for her adventure.

Slinging her back pack a little higher up on her shoulder so it wouldn't fall down she began to look around trying to find someone to sit by or be by. She hated standing around all by herself looking slightly foolish for being all alone.

Chloe was excited BEYOND measure about this trip. It was creatures and adventure and everything she wanted in a mid-Summer break really. Not to mention there was some awesome professors chaperoning them, including her amazing (and slightly eccentric) head of house. And some cool friends were going too.

Mostly she was just excited. Skipping along to where she spotted a few already gathered - fellow almost-sixth-years - she grinned at them as she hopped up and down excitedly. Hopefully they wouldn't have to sit long in their journeys because she couldn't sit nor did she want to.

"Hey Mr Kitridge! Professor Thompson!" Chloe grinned at the adults before standing beside her fellow classmates - still hopping in place. WHERE WAS HAYLEY? Probably coddling babies or reading, knowing her friend.

One minute he had been returning from school to recoup from the term and exams and start the summer, the next...the field trip was happening. Benny had made sure to pay close attention to his packing and include all that he might need. Well partically from what had been recommended. One specially charmed backpack with his belongings inside, the strap slung casually over his shoulder as he was dropped off at the Hogsmeade railroad station to start the next leg of the trip.

As he approached, he noticed he was one of the first students there, with Zander and Sophie and two other younger girls being the others. Not to mention two of his favorite staffers who were undoubtedly at least some of their chaperones. "Hello Professor Thompson...Mr. Kitridge," he greeted the men with a small smile and nod in turn. "Hey," he added as he approached Zander and Sophie to stand near them while the awaited the others to join them before they left.

Adi and the girls were coming...right?

A Summer Field Trip.

It had an adventurous feeling to it. Plus on top of all that it sounded like fun. Dante had nothing important planned this summer other than hurting himself and enjoying the summer. So here he was ready for this field trip.

Now where was Hugo and Maggie. He knew they were going. Was he the first one here of the three. That was weird.

"Hey Mr. K and Hey Professor T"

Look at the Librarian being all adventurous and going on a field trip. Dante thought you would only ever see Librarians in a Library. Made sense to him.

The almost sixth year had arrived!

Happily, Adi swung his bag pack over his left shoulder and adjusted the sunglasses which he had swapped for his usual specs today. Dressed in an 'Alice in Chains' tee shirt and the usual jeans and sneakers, he was looking forward to this so much there were just NO words to describe his level of excitement. Hehe.

At least he wasn't late... right? Nah, it seemed he had made it on time. Adi could see Mr Kitridge and Professor Thompson there with an assortment of students, the first one he paid any particular to was to Margo. "Hello, Mr Kitridge, Professor!'' he called and waved as he headed toward his soon to be second year friend. "Margo!'' There was NO WAY he was going to let her stand there alone. "How's it going?''

Oh, looky! It was a bestie. A grin for you, dude. Also, heeeey, you others!

The only thing AJ had to hear was 'adventure' to get her to participate on the school field trip. It was an added bonus that her boyfriend would be there. It wouldn't take much to get her to agree to anything that involved being able to see Adi over the summer.

She was here, and she wasn't late. That would really suck. Would they be waiting on everybody? Or would the train just leave? It wasn't anything that she would have to worry about though because the party was here. Mmhmm.

Zander and Benny were here. "Sup, guys?" Where was Adi? AJ expected him to be near his bestie. Her eyes scanned over the other students, and landed on her other half. The lion made her way over. "Hey." Hiiiii younger puff girl.

The entire last few weeks had been taken up with her parents going on about her sister and how she’d gotten engaged. By the time July had come and the time for the trip to Scotland, Brooklyn had been entirely ready to go away for a while. At least then she’d have other things to think about than the fact she’d actually be related to Clyde before too long. She could think of a lot of others she’d rather be related to, some of which she imagined would be in Hogsmeade. She could hope, anyway. If anything, she knew Ethan was supposed to be coming. And Grayson, although she still hadn’t quite decided what her thoughts were about the older boy yet.

Either way, she’d Side-Along Apparated with her mother to Hogsmeade from London on the day the trip was supposed to start. Daddy had Quidditch stuff, but she didn’t care. Once she’d extricated herself from her mother, she’d headed for the meeting spot, dressed for the occasion in a tshirt and jeans, her red hair twisted up into a crown braid, everything else inside the backpack adorned with the Iron Throne she had over her shoulders. Unfortunately, Ethan wasn’t there yet, nor was anyone else she really tolerated aside from the adults, and Benny. At least she had that out, if the loch tried to attack them like the swamp had. “Good day, Professor Thompson, Mr. Kitridge,” she said politely, placing herself near them and summarily ignoring Adi and most of the others who had arrived before her. Although she’d acknowledged Dante, just as a fellow Slytherin.

Still a bit sore from working out, Ethan shifted his bag on his back and headed for the rendezvous point where he’s supposed to meet the rest of his school mates. The sixteen year old walked towards the small group, a bit excited for the trip.

“Hey AJ.” He said as he walked past her, and gave a salute to Adi, “Sup, rockstar dude?” Hehehehe. Dante was there too, making the older Slytherin more pleased. “Hey there not-so-little guy.” Ethan gave him a pat on his head and moved forward towards, “Soooooophhhhiiiiiieee!!!” Hehehe. The Ravenclaw got a bear hug. Wait…where’s Toberson??? Looking around, the fair haired boy saw Zander instead. “YO!” Ethan gave him a soft punch on the arm and stood beside his fellow rising sixth years.

Ethan waved at the staff who were present too. “Mr. Kitridge.” Nod. “Professor Thompson.” Man, the dude has fashion sense, eh? Maybe he could ask tips on how to dress up and stuff so he could impress a certain lady. Speaking of her…where was she?

He did however...missed someone important. Ethan quietly stood by her and gave Brooklyn a small wave. "Hi there, Brooklyn. Nice hair." GRIN.

Did everybody know what day it was? Did everybody KNOW? FIELD. TRIP. DAY. Norah felt like it'd taken five hundred MILLION years to get to Hogsmeade station but they were here now and she was so ready to do all the cool things. That's right, all of them. She'd been so excited that she'd even brushed her hair, which was a very big deal. Even for somebody who was almost a FOURTH year.

She grinned and waved at the two Professors because WOOOOH PEOPLE before looking around at all the students gathered on the platform. Giving Adi a thumbs up as she passed, the fourteen year old stuck her nose into a few groups of people just to see if there was anything interesting going on. But guess what. Nobody was talking about how EXCITING it all was or sparkles or camels or plants or swings or what was for lunch, so all of her snooping was for nothing. But guess what AGAIN. It didn't even matter 'cause field trip field trip FIIIIIELD TRIP!

She stationed herself behind Sophie Brown who'd probably know what was for lunch if Norah ever got up the courage to ask, and Zander too 'cause apparently they were attached or something. Weird. Maybe she'd get to do all the cool stuff first because standing by all the coolness that was Sophie Brown AND a real live prefect would probably mean CONTAGIOUS cool or something. The almost-fourth-year took a few deep gulps of air just in case it'd get contagious-er if she breathed it all in, and waited and wiggled with her hands in her pockets for whenever they got to leave for all the cool places. Or whenever she caught the awesome disease and became an official awesome person. Or whenever she got a cat. Whichever came first, really. She wasn't picky.

*reminder for casey to PV here* Marigold was definitely looking forward to this trip, because staying at home all summer was NOT a nice option, though volunteering at the animal shelter was so far AWESOME. She had to take a leave of absence for this trip, which made her guilt twinge just a little at the thought of so many kittens and puppies going unnamed without her, but the thought of actually seeing people she liked - not that she didn't like Moo or baby!Mouse, but they were just two people - made her excited.

People were already here! Was she late? She bounced in, standing on her tiptoes because everyone was just TOO darn TALL. She recognized an even smaller flouncy person and tickled Norah in the side, before giving her and Sophie Brown a side hug. "Hi, friends!" she said, then gave a big ol smile to Zander. Hello, also!friend.

So he was old enough to go on a field trip, FINALLY, but now younger kids could go. What a bummer. Bart strolled off the train and onto the platform looking around. Seeing the group that had started to form he casually strolled over to them. His brown eyes looking around for his girlfriend, had she not gotten off the train yet? Well she'd be around soon. He hadn't seen much of her since her father wasn't allowing him over, but that was another story that he did not want to think about.

Looking at the group he gave nods to most, "Sup" He nodded towards Sophie, skipping Zander, and then to Benny. Seeing Chloe he made his way toward her to stand and wait. Was Brynny around? Glancing he didn't see her yet either. He hoped Cutty was coming as well. That could make things even more interesting.

Finally seeing the professor and librarian he gave them nods, "Sup Professor, Mr. Kitridge."

Smoothing down the front of her white shirt, Heather approached the meeting place for the field trip lugging a few extra things that hadn't exactly been on the suggested packing list. Hey, it was good to be prepared, right? And she'd cast a lightening charm on the stuff so that it wasn't heavy at all.

"Hello, everyone!" Now, who else were they waiting on? Or was this everyone that was going on the trip?

"Cole?"

Where the heck was Cole and how on earth had he already managed to lose him?

Dexter Upstead stood and looked all around, just a tad confused at how he'd managed to lose sight of his big-brother-by-five-minutes. Maybe it had something to do with darting off to hide while the big bad Ravenclaw was distracted, in the hopes that he'd jump out and scare him... but... that was an unnecessary detail, okay? NOT IMPORTANT.

Well, they both knew where the main meeting point was, at least, so Dexter figured he'd just wait there like the good little Upstead he was.

"Mornin' fellas," the soon-to-be-sixth year said in greeting to the professor and library dude, grinning crookedly as he reached the group and dropped his bag down at his feet with a thud by the wall. "'Sup guys," Dexter added to everyone else already gathered, a grin on his face. Anyone he kneeeeew? Hmmmmmm?????

No? Well... Dex would just take a seat here on the floor for a while. 8am was early, okay?

Here was where Maggie was.

Not tooooooo happy about it though. Yes she'd signed up but that didn't mean that she was looking forward to this field trip. It sounded like going camping. And she hated going camping. It was always gross. All that...dirt.

Luckily she'd learned the extension charm by now so she had been able to fill her backpack with a HUGE array of clothes. Nice clothes. In case they needed them. Although this field trip certainly sounded like they WOULDN'T need them. It was with the Creatures professor after all.

He was probably immune to things like the smell of animal poo etc. by now.

Ew. Why was she even thinking about that?

Ew.

Wrinkling her nose at that lovely thought, Maggie quickly glanced around the station until she spotted Dante. OH THANK GOD. "....hi." She wasn't TOO thrilled about this, could he tell? Nonetheless, when she was close enough she sort of hugged his arm. And then stayed like this. Hello.

Where had Dexter gotten to????

Seriously, turn your back for five seconds and your little-brother-by-five-minutes just completely vanishes. Cole sighed. It would serve the youngest Upstead right if he ended up left behind because he decided to hide in a bush or under the platform and fell asleep. It would.. it would be exactly was Dexter des... no. Cole couldn't do it. Tempting as it was to just settle in with the group and let Dexter's hijinks get the better of him, Cole just couldn't do it.

"Dex?"

Bag slung over his shoulder, Cole scanned the faces of those already gathered, hoping to spot the one that mirrored his. He noted the faculty, nodding in greeting, but ignored most others. He was so intent, though, on taking note of those standing that he completely missed the fact that Dexter was on the ground.

Until he tripped on him, anyway.

Angel was totally looking forwards to this field trip, the only problem was she had just got used to spending time with her muggle friends when it was time to tell them she was altering plans again because she had a school trip to go on, which totally confused them.

Angel saw Adi and her sister. "Hey." She smiled, she had a funny feeling she was going to be late because she had left the packing to the last minute but it seemed like she was on time which was good, maybe she shouldn't wait until the last minute in future though.

Angel then saw Benny and Zander with someone else, she decided that she was going to go and stand next to Benny. "Hey Benny," Angel then looked at Zander. "Hey Zander." Angel smiled and then looked at the girl that was with them. "Hey... eh... hey." Angel didn't actually know this person.

Abby was totally looking forward to the field trip seeing a few familiar faces and waved to them she was looking forward to the field trip but at least she was here and hadn't got lost

This was going to be a busy summer of Aegis...how did his Uncle and Grandmother think he'd have any time for himself? Probably their way of keeping him from running off and joining a Quodpot League in America...Hey you know what he turns 17 in September. They can't tell him what to do then, maybe he'll just drop out and run off to America then!?

Still they kept him busy, and running off to America would keep him from recovering a relationship with his Father after this Field Trip.

He carried his backpack toward everyone. Aegis looked around and saw that many had already began to gather. The CoMC Professor was here, as was the Librarian dude. Were any other Professor going to grace their presence? Like Hmmmm The Almighty Flamsteed?

Right anyways he gave a grin towards Zander, whom Aegis felt he could form a friendship with since events bonded them together, he nodded towards Bart, and stood beside Good Ol' Family Friend, Ethan Mordaunt. "Lucky." was all he told Ethan as he stood beside the Snake.

Margo turned at the sound of her name. She would recognize that voice anywhere!! Adi had been her first really true friend since coming to Hogwarts. He had such a big brotherly way about him, Margo loved him in her own way! They had only known each other for a year, but already he was more of brother to her than her own family really. Smiling Margo squeled. "AAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDDIIIIIIIIII" She ran as fast as she could toward him giving him a bone crushing hug.

"I'm so glad you're here!" She added taking a step back and looking at him. "You seem taller!" She added smiling, she was in her glory right now! Margo loved every minuet of this field trip already and she hadn't even left the train station yet.

Austin was beyond upset. His father had not only left him to find his own way home at the train station, but he was nowhere to be found when it came time to take the young boy to his field trip. For the second time this summer, he had to find his own transportation. This was hard when you were too young to know how to teleport. The rising fourth year needed this field trip, more than anyone knew.

He finally made it onto the train station after his really long walk, and hoped that they weren't going to do much walking straight out. The boy really loved adventures, but now really wasn't the time to start.

Emmylou looked around at the train station. It was so beautiful and it was finally the day that she got to go on a field trip. She had never gone on a field trip before. It was something new and exciting to the blonde. Emmylou looked around for her boyfriend or Bart because she knew that he was coming and somewhere along the way Emmy had lost Cinna. Where was Cinna? Emmylou spun around looking for her best friend/sister/cousin and ended up bumping into Bart! HEY SOMEONE SHE KNOWS!! "Bart!" She said happily. "Ooh, sorry!" She smile at him. Emmylou rubbed she slightly bruised left cheek, it still hurt a little but hopefully it would go away soon. On the plus side she was happier now than she was last week. "Hey! Have you seen Cinna? I think I lost her, unless she's looking for you then she's a horrible finder! I pretty much looked everywhere and then BAM! I found you." She beamed, maybe she should lay off the sugar? She might scare people away.
