| | |  Consolation Game: Ravenclaw Vs Slytherin
 The building used for the Gobstones matches had had its doors ajar for the cool early spring breeze to get in. Its surfaces magically dusted by Professor Botros and Mr. Kitridge, the school's Gobstones sponsors, and made ready for the consolation game for this term.
The green and blue marbles were set out and the playing 'field' had been marked. Chairs were set out on each side of the arena creating a Viewing Area for those not playing to watch.
OOC: Remember only members sorted into Slytherin and Ravenclaw Houses can post in this thread, it is not a chat thread and there is no rping.
Read the Gobstones Rule book before playing and if you did last term, please check again for potential updates and changes.

As always, professor Botros was standing between the two house's boards waiting for the players to ascend and take their turn as the first shot in this game. He was wearing Sherman's ugly cardigan over his shirt because it was still cold, but not cold enough to lock the doors and miss the nice view outside.
A decent amount of viewers sat at the benches nearby and a humble round of clapping echoed around the hall before he announced the beginning of the match. "Let's go!"

Baines and Tillstorm from Ravenclaw and Slytherin respectively took the first shot in the game. The blue marble rolled on the board and crossed the first line earning the Eagles' house a point while the green marble released the stinking gob. "The first point goes to Ravenclaw." Botros announced, and gestured for them to take the second shot. Match Standings:

Baines and Ashcroft prepared for the next shoot. They held their shooters, murmured some words to it, and swung at the marbles. The green marble rolled around the obstacle easily surpassing the blue one only a bit and earning Slytherin two points. Blue gob was puffed out of the Ravenclaws' marbles.

Misses Brown and Ashcroft were the next players to grab the shooters and give their respective houses' marbles a gentle kick. The green shooter missed the Slytherin marble allowing the blue one to roll further ahead. "Three more points to Ravenclaw!" Botros tapped the score board to update the score. Match Standings:

Cilla stayed for the snakes while the eagles switched in Thornton again. The two players swung their shooters and gave their stones kicks forward. The blue stone rolled past a series of obstacles before it stopped. The green stone rolled and kept rolling until had just surpassed it's opponent and one more obstacle before it slowed and stopped.
"The first point of the second round go to Slytherin!" Leo declared from the sideline as the scoreboard updated itself to reflect his words.

Both teams switch players for the next roll as Evangeline and Zoe marched out with their shooters. The girls swung their shooters and watched their stones roll off. The blue stone rolled past four obstacles before it slowed down and then eventually stopped shooting up a gush of smelly gob in the air. The green stone surpassed it's opponent and past an extra two obstacles before it too stopped.
"2 points to Slytherin!" Leo announced from his position next to Abraham on the sideline wrinkling his nose against the foul smell in the room.

Tillstorm and Mancini took to the court. TiaMarie seemed to have picked up some sort of luck on the bench during the short break. She was getting her house's stone closer and closer to the Slytherin's stone, and the goal in extension. "3 points to Ravenclaw at the end of the second round. Ravenclaw leads 7-5 as we head into the third round!" Leo declared.
