The Hufflepuff dormitories are also located in the cellar and have perfectly circular doors, with lots of little underground tunnels leading off from the common room. In each dormitory four-poster beds covered in patchwork quilts. The dormitories are illuminated by warm copper lamps, and copper bed-warmers hang on the wall, in case of cold feet.

Insomnia was officially his thing, Noel Wallace decided. He might have blinked and dozed off like a cat once or twice but other than that, he had been up and awake. He had heard the snoring from his fellow dormmates, and he had decided to do what he usually did when he was up before everyone else.

It was a little different this time because he had a small task at hand and while it had taken him a while to figure out how to make someone else smile, Noel had figured it out. Mostly because he had wondered what would make him happy? What would he want someone else to do for him? The answer was simple. Food.

So he had been up in the kitchens, and while the elves were busy making stuff for breakfast - they had been kind enough to let him work in a corner - helping him now and then. When he had finished, he had thanked them and forced a few to eat his creation before heading back to his dorm. And yep, everyone was still snoring.

Quietly and in super sneaky ways, the boy walked over to where Toby Tempus slept. And in not so creepy way, placed the plate on his bed side and sneaked back to his bed.

Mission accomplished.
