Term 38's (2084-2085) RP starts here::

Unlocking her shop Emerald turned on the lights and looked around. She needed to clean and put up some of her new objects now that the Hogwarts student's were due to be allowed into the village. Fetching a box of various objectsthat for instance contained new gummy bears that made you grow santa beards the brunette shopkeeper went to her counter and started to arrange the wares.

After almost two hours of dusting and cleaning of shelves, putting up discount price tags, stocking shelves, and checking the state of her supplies room Emerald could contentedly deem her shop ready for buisness. It'd be fun to have lots of Hogwarts student's of various ages running around the shelves looking for pranks to pull on unexpecting peers or even professors.

HOGSMEADE WEEKEND!!!!!

Cant you tell that Chance is excited about Hogsmeade weekend? Running down the streets of Hogsmeade, Chance ran to the place he wanted to go to first. Zonkos. Because... Zonkos! Pushing past people, with polite sorrys. Chance stopped short in front of Zonkos. He looked up at the sign, a big grin on his face.

Opening the door, he stood in awe of all the things glorious in this store. Were there new things? Oh look! Things he had seen before and wanted. Dang his no money skills. With his mum being muggle, she didnt have any wizard money. And wizard stores took wizard money.

Now, where were his friends?

Braedon just wanted to check out all of the stores. He was also excited about seeing his friends and he wanted to meet them at Zonkos. Braedon liked being a practical joker and Kace said you can get all your joker needs here. He grinned and chuckled to himself. He was gonna have fun pranking his cousins soon enough and even his brother. As he went into the store, he noticed Chance made it! He smiled and gave him a one armed hug. "Hey mate glad you could make it! Now where are the two girls?" he asked looking around. "Are they fashionably late like usual?" he joked with him.

It was official. Hogsmeade was officially Chloe's favorite time of the year at Hogwarts. Especially after last year when they were forced to stay indoors due to the extreme cold. Could they not see that she was born to be OUTSIDE?

"Where to first, Hayls?" Chloe grinned, taking her her friend's arm and swinging it. "Zonko's! Excellent choice." Actually, the redhead had no idea why she chose that shop, considering her brothers, she wasn't particularly fond of jokes and pranks, but regardless, the fourth year lion pushed her way into the shop....

.... and stopped short at seeing two guys already there, one of whom was her housemate and year-mate, Chance. How did they get here so fast was beyond her? Totally not cool. Clearly they just had longer legs.

Sighing, she pulled at Hayley's arm and debated turning around and walking out again. If only cause she was offended that boys beat her here.

Chance had been studying some prank gadgets when he heard a familiar voice. An instant smile sprang on his face and he turned around and gave Braedon a one arm hug. "Hey mate! Yea the girls are late as usual, I think anyways. Puckster was acting a little funny when I left though. I dont quite know what was up with her." Chance grinned and shrugged

Hearing another voice, Chance saw someone else he knew. "Hey Chloe! Where you going?" He asked, cocking an eyebrow at her. Obviously she was a little miffed about something. "Leaving so soon??" He grinned at her. They were in the same house and in the same year. They had a little bit of a competition thing going on.

Then he heard Chance greet the little girl that walked into the shop. "You know her?" he asked curiously. He wondered why she was so offended that two boys were in the shop or maybe it was because she was so shy. That could be it too. "Do you suppose she was too shy to come and talk to you?" he asked.

Late! She was late! How had she missed the carriages? She was gross and covered in mud! MUD! She only liked mud that well no, she never even really liked mud at spas because it was still mud! It was just wet dirt that dried on your skin, what was the point of it? And it had gotten on her jeans.

She whimpered slightly as she made her way into the joke shop her wand pointing at her jeans as she carefully cleaned them off. Heck, she might have looked like she was smoking, actually smoking from her spellwork but she didn’t care. It wasn’t like she was on fire or anything.

She slowly walked up to her friends and felt her jaw drop – they were talking about her? She nearly gasped and quickly feinted back against a display, listening intently. Unknowingly placing her hand near a section of self-playing instruments.

Was Chance saying she was acting weird? Showering and running back to the dorm to change into something more comfortable and then something less comfortable and then something more comfortable again wasn't weird. That was basic routine for a girl. Puck leaned forward and toed her way around the edge of the display she spotted Chloe and gave her a look when she spotted her. A look that told her HI HOW ARE YOU YOU LOOK AWESOME and also told her she wasn't really there right now...so just talk with the eyes alright? That was understandable right?

Although fairly sure she hadn't been the one to suggest Zonko's, Hayley was happy to follow Chloe to whichever shop she chose, both because she was finally getting proper best friend time without homework and classes being involved, and because.. well, the Ravenclaw wasn't picky. They had practically all day to spend in Hogsmeade, yeah?

Zonko's did however strike her as an interesting choice, given certain factors - three, as a matter of fact, each with very boy-ish names. Spencer, Robert, and Frankie. They also just happened to be the names of three out of four of the trio's little brothers. Hm.

Nevertheless, Hayley didn't voice her questions and simply returned the grin with one of her own, following beside Chloe as they entered the joke shop and.. abruptly came to a stop. Why were they stopping? Casting a confused look in her best friend's direction, Hayley's gaze wandered to the pair of boys - fellow students, surely, and back to Chloe as she tugged on her arm. Okay, what was she missing? "Chels..?"

Braedon heard the door open and he noticed Puck just came in. He turned to look around and noticed she was covered in mud. "Hey mate I see Puck is here." he gestured towards her. Then he commented on the mud. "What happened Puck to make you soo muddy?" He was just curious is all. "Heyy even I might have wanted to join in on this mud party." he said joking with her. Just to make it light and funny ya know?

Maybe they were just lost or needed something from Zonko but it seemed that Chance knew them from somewhere.

Puck sent Hayley a quick smile as she came into the store. She was about to send her a quiet hello when she heard Braedon’s voice. He had seen her? WHAT? Stupid survival instincts.

She just straightened herself up and made her way over to the group she smiled, and turned her attention to Chloe and Chelsea “Hey Chloe, hey Hayley” she smiled at the two girls and sent them both waves. And Chance, he got a smile too.

Braedon on the other hand got a little glare at first. Maybe it was because of the day before, or maybe it was because he thought she had had fun getting all muddy! “It wasn’t intentional, I kind of rolled down the hill at one point” she shrugged and sighed. “I missed the carriages” she admitted with a sigh and kept trying to clean some of the mud off of her skin.

“What were you guys thinking of buying?” She asked smiling at her friends and the boy who wanted to be muddy.

Nemo had some of the sweets he and Isla bought in one hand as he strolled into Zonko's. Hogsmeade was different, cool, he was really looking forward to coming here more often.

Honestly Hogwarts was really fun so far, though it was a really weird place, like super weird.. But whatever. It was better than sitting at home and thinking about how his father wasn't there. How he had planned to betray Nemo and his mother and leave them Penniless. Which infuriated him to this day.

But today wasn't a day to worry about that kinda stuff. Today was a day to eat sweets and wink at pretty girls.. Cause he was Nemo Grimm and who wouldn't love his pretty blue eyes, right?

Well so much for leaving so quickly because it seemed her housemate had spotter her. But oh good; Puck was here and she was alright. Offering her a smile and and wave in return, she glanced over at Hayley and took a deep breath. It wasn't like they could leave now; the boys already spotted them and leaving now would just make it worse and make it look like they won. And they totally hadn't.

"Well the shop was looking rather crowded, Chance, but since you offered, I reckon we'll shop a little." Merlin knew the Gryffindor girls could use some fireworks and other ammunition against the boys.

She looked sideways over at Hayley and just gave a brief smile to her friend. "I thought maybe had the wrong store, but it seemed we're right on track." They couldn't leave now. "So I was thinking some darkness powder would be cool. Maybe some dungbombs."

Zonko's was a shop that Bianca Evelyn Caruso had to go to. One might ask why but the answer really was quite obvious. It was a joke shop and joke shops had costumes and random knickknacks that could be used for costumes and just general dressing up all weird.

The Gryffindor entered the shop and looked around. This place was full of students from the school. Wow. She clucked her tongue and browsed through the various displays before seeing someone just kind of... chillin there.

He looked familiar. "If you get the inflatable tongue you can use it to get out of class," she said, still browsing through the stuff. Not that she had tried that yet though it was a pretty good idea. Bianca would have to do that.

The small shop had become crowded in a matter of minutes. Chance watched as Puck tried to slide her way, unseen, but the mud could be seen. Mud just wasnt a thing that was easily hidden. Chance grinned as Puckster came in scene and gave Brae a hug. "Hey Puckster. Did you have a mud party? Where was my invitation?" He asked eyeing her with an amused expression.

He turned his attention back to the girl that had come in with Chels. "Its okay Brae. Chels and I are cool. Shes probably just a little miffed that I beat her here. I mean, I am super fast. Can't help that." He said winking at Chels. They had a little competition thing gong on. Since the first time they had met in second year in charms class. They had to be partners and instead of working with each other, they had tried to out do each other. I think that class had ended in an explosion. From there, it just escalated.

"Im Chance, by the way." He said to the girl coming in with Chels. He had seen her with Chels before. "Nice to meet you. You all shopping for some pranks today?" He noticed what Chelsea had picked off the shelf. Hmm... He woud have to get something to keep his prank stock pile up.

Hearing a very familiar voice, Chance looked and saw Beezey walk in and start talking to someone. His face instantly turned into a smile and he smiled a knowing smile at her before turning his attention back to the group.

"So Brae, my bro, I missed you!"

Braedon saw the glare Puck was giving him. He raised his hands in the air in his defense. "Hey sorry but I mean I would have paid to see you rolled down the hill in fact I would have joined you.." he said chuckling a little bit. Come on Puck would have joined him. He knew her well enough to know that. Aahh so she missed the carriages. It made sense. He heard her question and looked around, "Well I am looking for the perfect prank to use on my older brother but I don't know what yet..." he said pondering and looking around. "Any ideas?" he asked her.

He even heard Hayley the girl that was in the store wanting dumbogs and darkness powder. He gave her a quizzical look and wanted to know what those are. "Excuse me..what are dunbogs and darkness powder used for?" Man there was a group coming in and Chance apparently knew them and he let him do all the talking. He noticed he said something to him. "I know buddy I have missed you. When was the last time I saw you?" he asked giving him a fist bump. "Have you seen Vinnie around?" he asked looking around for her.

Nemo looked up at the voice, he was sure he'd seen this girl around the School, right, she was friend with Puck. "Yeah? You think that would work?" He asked and picked one up, eyeing it a little. Hmm, not that he had too much of an issue with classes, though lately you never know what kind of character would crawl out of a book and into the classroom. "Thanks for the advise." Even if he didn't ask for it. "I'm Nemo Grimm." He said with a hand extended to shake hers.

Tabitha entered the joke shop and looked around. She wanted to get some items for her uncle who was the Prince of Pranks in her family. Tabitha wondered if there was something along the lines of a kit or a box full of various joke items. Should she go to the counter? She wasn't too familiar with such places.

Bianca nodded her head. "You'd require medical attention and it'd be best to send you off to the healer than to let a professor or student with no medical training to attempt to help you," Bianca pointed out. Because she would not let any student attempt to help her out if she was sick and dying. Unless it was the babe because she'd trust her with her life. Yup.

Nemo Grimm?

Hm. Never heard of him in her entire Hogwarts life. Which honestly wasn't that long. "Caruso, Bianca Caruso," she said, shaking his hand and giving him a bright smile. "I'm super awesome, super fancy and just super in everything except the things I'm not super at." That needed to be said. He needed to know. This was important information right there.

Nemo nodded, this was a pretty good plan. "Hmm i'll have to try that sometime." It didn't seem like a bad idea, so Mr.Grimm made sure to hold onto it.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Ms. Caruso." He said and smiled. SHe was super everything it seemed, apparently just not at the things she wasn't? "That makes sense, i suppose. What are the things you're super at?" He asked

Puck glanced over to Chloe and smiled, she was the babe’s roommate after all and Cinna’s and Abigail’s too…so yeah she knew her since they all had to share the dorms sometimes and really, she was nice she actually liked her and Phoenix and Heather and Emmy and all of the main girls. Even Tessa though he didn’t really know her that well. Really, the only Gryffindor girls she didn’t seem to get along with was the Wolverhampton girl or the Dissanayake girl. It wasn’t intentional but gosh, Rae had a way of getting to her. Maybe it was because she had heard what she had told her other dormmates?

“Hey Chloe,” she grinned over to her. “I heard Cinna’s not staying in the dorm that often anymore…cause of her and Bart and well, the whole dorming with Abigail thing – how is it in that room after all?” She asked as casually as possible before turning her attention back to Chance who was asking about the mud as well.

She couldn’t help but laugh, “Aw I’m sorry I think the invitation fell out of my pocket” she frowned at him for only a moment. And then he was talking about Chloe being miffed and grinned at the two of them, “Hey I’d be miffed too! She would have been able to be all I took my Opportunity and beat it” she grinned at him. Awww cute. Chance was giving Bee a look when she walked in with Nemo? She was talking to Nemo? Puck blinked and bit back the urge to laugh after all Puck had her reasons….awkward I laugh when nervous reasons. “So Chance, how’d the fancy date go?” She asked grinning over to him before she noticed Braedon’s defensive reaction.

“Aww” she half laughed half cooed, “you’re cute, but really if you saw that I’d have to kill you” she laughed her eyes sparkling with mischief. “And you would have? Darn it! Next time your in the country we’ll have to have to reenact the event” she grinned and turned to Chance, Chloe, and Hayley “with all of us if you guys want in that is” she smiled. Oh he was asking her about pranks? She couldn’t think suddenly as she looked around, every time his eyes fell near her she felt her cheeks exploding with heat…darn it. Stop. “Oh, well Dungbombs are basically what they sound like they are magical stinkbombs” she grinned mischievously “and the Peruvian instant darkness powder creates darkness so you can get out of the room easily” she grinned again, “its awesome…I used it once when I just wanted to get out of detention in my old school” she laughed and smiled in earnest as she thought about her previous escapades.

"You could also mash up U-No-Poo into professors' foods and see their reactions." Honestly, why had she not done this before?! Where were all these brilliant ideas coming from and why did she not have a pen and paper to record all of this? Sigh. What a shame.

She really hoped this guy remembered all of it because she was going to ASK him about it later. Her eyes wandered around the displays and then spotted a familiar group of people. Oooh... what was the babe doing here? With C-Squared no less... and her dorm mate? They all got a smile. Yes. Bianca Evelyn Caruso SAW you. Anyways... she focused her attention back on the boy with the fish name.

Obviously it was a pleasure to meet her. Bianca would like to meet herself too. The two Biancas would go on the most fabulous adventures together. Heh. "Well, Nemo Fish, I'm super at everything except the things I'm not." which she had said earlier so was he not listening? "I'm particularly super at being pretty, smart and just lovely," Bianca added with a wink.

Shelving several crates of Dr Fillibusters fireworks Emerald prayed that none of them would accidentally set off and cause mayhem in her shop. Taking a step back to dust off her hands and she could let out a breath. It was then that she noticed a girl further down the aisle looking lost. Pushing a few wet brown strands away she walked towards the girl plastering on a professional smile. "Welcome to Zonkos Joke Shop! Do you need assistance? We've got a special price for tongue tieing gums."

Ooc: To all the lovely student's currently browsing and chatting around the shop aisles. If you need my assitance just say so in your post title.

Tabitha turned around and smiled at the shopkeeper. "I was wondering if you do gift packs for birthdays. My uncle loves practical jokes and I'd like to get him an assortment of items for his birthday. Are there any items you'd recommend?"

Eyebrows raised in a questioning manner, Hayley's lips remained sealed for a good moment or two at the strange boy's offer (Braedon), as if considering it - or what he meant by it, really. A simple, "No, thank you." would suffice, right? Because she was no little first year, and though Zonko's wasn't her most frequented shop, she certainly didn't need anyone's help.

Oh, another girl. Another Gryffindor girl. Offering a small smile in return to Puck as she caught her gaze, the Ravenclaw was happy to turn her attention toward someone she was atleast a bit familiar with, aside from Chels. "Hey."

Chloe didn't need to explain anything, the look and situation was enough for the young 'Claw to use to piece the puzzle together, although not fully formed yet - she was getting the picture. And yes, crowded. That it was, particularly where they were standing near the entrance. "Maybe we should move away from the door," The third year offered quietly, mostily toward Chloe as the redhead decided they would stay and shop.

Mmm, wrong store. Mhm. Her smile growing just a bit, Hayley merely nodded and waited for Chloe to lead the way. Blue-grey eyes traveled toward the Gryffindor boy (Chance) that Chloe clearly knew as he introduced himself, apparently to her. "Hayley. Hayley Diggory." The girl offered matter-of-factly, before adding for politeness, "Nice to meet you too."

So how about those dungbombs? Ick.
