Bursting through the RoR door, Chance almost stopped instantly. His mouth hung open as he stood there, taking in all the glory. Everything that had been in that mirror was created here in this room. Fancy drapes, candles, nice silver. Even down to the cream colored table covers. The only thing Chance didn't have was.....

Oh wait... nope. There is was!

Fancy clothes.

A whole wardrobe was sitting off in the corner. IT had fancy clothes from way back when to clothes that looked more modern but fancy. Instantly, Chance's pinky finger went up in the air. Well, his right one. The left one was holding Beezey over his shoulder.

Right....

Chance let Beezey down, somewhat, carefully and stepped away from her. Expecting a slap or two. He didn't care though. He had made it to the fancy room. He turned to Beezey after a minute, his face lighting up. He grabbed her in a hug and swung her around before dropping her back down and facing the room again.

Heading to the wardrobe, he eyed the clothes. He would have to be fancy like the room was!

Bianca was flailing her arms and her legs. What did he think he was doing when he had picked her up like a Neanderthal?! "C-Squared?! DOWN. DOWN." Bianca did not like where she was at all. Except, once he had entered the room, she was put down.

Feet on the ground, she dusted herself off and straightened her clothes. "You, sir, are not eveeeeerrrr AAHHHHHH...." Bianca had just finished straightening herself off when he swung her around. WHAT WAS HE DOING?!

WAS HE OUT OF HIS MIND?!

Bianca made sure to hold tightly because she did not want to accidentally be flung off into some deep dark corner. Plus, now she felt a little dizzy and all she saw were light-y thingies.

"C-Squared, no more randomly twirling and stuff. Give a girl a warning first." Seriously bro. Like... she did not want to get super dizzy and fall.

And then he was walking off to the wardrobe. OH LOOK CLOTHES.

"LET'S GET FOOD." she said, when she saw the table and beamed. Because who cared about clothes when there was a fancy table? PFFFT. They could dress fancy later.

Chance grinned, ignoring Beezey's yells. He was too involved in loving the fact that they had made the room behind the mirror, into the RoR. Now THAT was magical. Chance's fingers skimmed the clothes as he found a rather, weird, looking outfit. Ok, this was NOT the outfits he had thought he would be wearing, but they were fancy. Chance picked up one of the outfits and put it in front of him. Man, it was his size. He shook his head and put it back on the rack before hearing another yell from Beezey.

LETS GET FOOD!

Chance instantly perked up. Jogging to the table, he looked at it amazed. "Okay, i think I may have just found my, right now, favorite place." Chance said looking at the fancy table. He sat down on the silk chairs and his mouth opened in awe. "Let's just hope this food is as fancy as the looks." Chance said, his eyes going to the juicy looking turkey sitting in the middle of the table. He was a food....spectacularist, after all.

Feeling like he had to be extra fancy, Chance stood up and went over to where Beezey was. He winked at her before pulling her chair out and gesturing her to sit. "My Beezey." He said with a slight bow and sucked in his breath so he wouldnt laugh. This wasnt his style at all. Then again, apparently, his style wasnt working either.

Golden sparkles began appearing in a corner of the room. Glowing more and more brightly with each passing moment, there was a quick burst of light and then a shape began to fade into existence among the remaining sparkles.

There it was. A spinning wheel with an especially sharp looking spindle. How curious...

Bianca had changed rather quickly. She was really good at that after sitting in at a few of her mother's fittings for models and the whatnot. But when she saw C-Squared, she laughed. He looked just a little bit ridiculous. Or maybe it was just different?

Her eyes were gleaming with happiness and she had a giant smile on her face as she nodded. She was at a loss for words. Which was rare. C-Squared then pulled out a chair and on top of it all he bowed. Bianca did a little curtsy. "Why, my good C-Squared, I think I-"

Bianca got distracted.

What was that in the corner of the room?

Shiny. Bianca had a thing for shiny things. "Hey, C-Squared, did you see that?" she asked, tilting her head slightly. The fabric of the dress shimmered in the light. She liked this dress. "There's a spinning wheel there," she said, pointing at the object.

Bianca was curious about it. "Hey, do you think it's gonna be in like Sleeping Beauty? 'Cause she looked really pretty before she was knocked out by that spinning wheel," she said, laughing and approaching the object.

The curtsy was cute. Chance had to admit that. He bit his bottom lip from laughing when he saw the super happy expression on Beezeys face. Then confusion on her face brought confusion to his.

Looking over to where a spin wheel suddenly appeared with glittery dots all around it, Chance cocked his eyebrow at it. "Thats.... weird." Chance said and forgot about the fancy table with the fancy food for a minute.

Walking over to the spin wheel, Chance eyed it. "Well... go ahead Beezey. Spin us some gold." Chance said pointing to the pinwheel with a laugh on his face.

Bianca was so very much distracted by that spinning wheel. "Did you ask for a spinning wheel in here? Were going going to make something pretty?" she joked, nudging him slightly. She stood before the object, unsure of what to do. Then she looked at him.

Spin some gold?

PFFFT.

"I'm not going to be Rumplestiltskin, C-Squared," Bianca said, rolling her eyes with a little smile. "Why don't you go be Rumplestiltskin? Besides, we don't have any straw." So there was a flaw in C-Squared's plan. Bianca took C-Squared's hand in her own... not because she was scared of the object - no, that would be silly - but because she did not appreciate it being there when they were supposed to have a fancy dinner. It could come back later.

Right? "C-Squared, go will it out of here. This is a magic room. Go."

The spining wheel. Howd it get here? Chance certainly didnt think of a spinning wheel when thought o the room. Maybe the room was trying to tell them something.

Beezey was right, there was no straw anywhere. Just the spinning wheel. Chance cocked his head at Beezey. "I cant spin gold with no hay! I also didnt think of a spinning wheel when I thought of this place. So im not really sure what it's doing here. Maybe the room is trying to tell us something?" Chance said and gave Beezeys hand a squeeze and an encouraging smile.

"Now, what is the spinning wheel thing trying to tell us?" But just in case, Chance tried willing the spinning wheel to go. He thought hard. Nope. Still there.

C-Squared couldn't spin gold. Bianca couldn't spin gold. Neither of them could spin gold without hay. So what was the point of the spinning wheel anyways?

"I think it's telling us... we need fancier clothing." Cause they used spinning wheels for clothing... right? Or just fabric in general. She shrugged her shoulders.

Then a grin crossed her face. "Dare me to touch it?" 'Cause she would. What would a spinning wheel do anyways? PFFFT. There was a fine line between brave and stupid... Bianca tended to be on the side that leaned more towards stupid.

"I double dog triple dog Quadrople dog dare you to touch it!" Chance said, his eyes lighting up. They were focused on the spinning wheel but they went off of it for just a minute to glance at Beezey and then go back to the spinning wheel.

"You touch it first and then Ill sit on it" Because, really, he wanted to so bad. It didnt look comfortable to sit on. But, he wanted to.

...

"Challenge accepted," Bianca said, grinning and punching C-Squared lightly on the shoulder. What was that spinning wheel going to do to her? Spin her to death? Please. She had been on the spinning tea cups ride in a whole bunch of amusement parks; what were the chances of her getting hurt?

"Which part of it do I touch? The wheel? The seat? The needle?" She asked, approaching it and looking around it.

Which part should she touch? Chance looked at the spinning wheel. Well, obviously it was a spinning wheel and the most important part of it was the wheel. She had to touch that part! Dur!!

"The Wheel! You have to touch the wheel. Its the most important part. Watch out though, it might grab you and pull you in and make you magically spin... whatever it wants you to spin."Chance said with a nod to Beezey.

Cosgrach had owled Kevin to meet him here, since the laboratory hopefully would be crowded with students that wished to do the assignment. Passing in front of the room three times, he opened the door and entered a small potions lab equipped with everything they would need. He examined the shelves and nodded to himself. He didn't plan to do much today. He had to see what the kid wanted exactly, and how willing he was.

He sat down on a chair and started waiting for the boy.

The Room of Requirement? Yeah that was totally not a suspicious place to meet up , what happened to the office or even the laboratory huh? Still, the Gryffindor was secretly glad that he wanted to help out and maybe this could even be a first step of becoming more friendly towards each other?

He walked passed the wall three times, thinking about the place they agreed to meet and opened the door when it appeared. He had heard about this room but had never been in there before. He certainly had to remember where it was though cause the look of the small lab was simply awesome.

He stopped looking around with his mouth slightly open in awe when he noticed the Professor sitting on a chair. With a small sigh, he closed the door and awkwardly scratched the back of his head. "......Sup"

AWKWARD!

The spinning wheel began to glow and sparkle once again as the two Gryffindors debated if and where it should be touched. The glow intensified and then in another burst of light..............it was gone.

Of course Bianca was going to touch the thing. She was going to spin it and watch it whirl around and around and see it gold magically appeared.

"Alright," she said, with a confident smirk on her face. She reached out to touch it but BAM.

what?

"C-SQUARED. WHY DID YOU MAKE IT DISAPPEAR?!" Because it was obviously his fault and not hers.

The fancy dinner had done a complete turn around. They in fact, hadnt touched any of the fancy dinner. It was sitting there, getting cold, while they were worrying about the spin wheel that was just sitting there.

Chance was too preoccupied with this wheel though. He wasnt really worried about the food right now. He could easily heat it up if he wanted to. He watched as Beezey went slowly forward to touch the wheel. She was almost there. Her fingers were inches from it.
THen BAM! It was gone. ANd Beezey was blaming him.

Chance laughed. "What?! I didnt do it! WHy do you think it was me/" Because clearly, Chance wanted her to touch it as much as she wanted to touch it.

Now, it was time to make a lion squeal.

Jk, jk, Cosgrach was going to be 100% civil, polite and an adult. Kevin would see that if he was courteous, he and Cosgrach would get along well, and that he would benefit from this.

Ah, the lion entered... awkwardly enough. Cosgrach nodded at the boy. "I'm fine, and you?" See, he could also be friendly. He gestured at the other chair for him to sit.

"Now, how often do you want to meet?" he asked, "and do you have anything particular in mind? A certain potion, some brewing techniques..?"

Kevin was a little taken back at the casual tone of the Professor when he said he was fine and then asked the same thing to him. He would have thought that 'sup was a rude way of asking how someone was but he was mistaken. Or maybe the man didn't care?

"I'm uh...okay i guess?" he said as he took a seat on the other chair. Talking so normally to him was weird if he had to be honest... But he also knew that if he made a mistake he could say bye bye to his future. For once, Kevin decided to TRY and be ...normal.... He was curious though, "Why did you agree to help me out? i mean, we're not exactly on friendly terms right?"

The questions were already coming and the Gryffindor shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know..." he answered honestly because he really didn't know. "But i do know what i want, i want to try and make a more advanced potion. Or maybe something you invented, i mean you have to have invented some potions right? Oh! or maybe that year long potion! ..i don't know i want a lot of things...you pick " And the reason why he wanted to learn more advanced stuff was because the potions they made in class were too easy for him and he would get nowhere. Although he admitted to have made an mistake during the previous lesson but that was only because of the unfairness of Zander getting detention going around.........speaking of which, the boy looked at the man with curiousity in his eyes. "Why did you give Zander a detention by the way? he really hadn't done anything" He had already planned to talk to Zander as well but he wanted to hear both sides of the story, see if they matched up.

Cosgrach chuckled softly. Kevin was pretty confused, huh? "I don't hate you," he said, "it's just... I don't approve of your attitude. You're showing progress, though, and anyway, I can stop this if you misbehave." Just so he knew to behave and be polite.

About Zander... "I didn't give him detention. We just talked." He shrugged. "Zander thanked me in the end." Heh. That had been weird... but pleasant. He was just saying, in case Kevin doubted him.

Anyways.

"I have invented a few, yes." More than a few. "Okay, here's how we will go: I recommend you do the assignment, that's advanced enough. I'll also give you some books to read, starting from ingredients and potions theory." He paused. "And we can also look at a few potions here, see how you go about everything and correct if I have to." Sounded good?

He had heard those 'i don't hate you' words before. Last year when he had been given a detention but at that time, Kevin thought that he had been lying and always thought that the man did. Now, he said the same thing again and it made him stare and blinked a few times before stuttering out an answer. "I..uh...oh" he hated when that happened because it made him feel less powerful than he thought he was.

"Well, i don't..." he turned his gaze away and looked at the shelves instead. "hate you either, you know...never did" he had mumbled the rest of the sentence before he looked back again. "And i'm working on my behaviour around the staff at least. Flailsteed is helping me with it actually..." so yeah. That didn't mean he stopped using pranks and rudeness. The students weren't safe yet heh. Only a few days ago he had pranked a Ravenclaw in to getting a branch from the Whomping Willow. And the bloody idiot had done it.

Wait...WHAT? Zander hadn't gotten a detention but they had just talked?! "YA!" he yelled. It was a habit he was TRYING to get rid of but sometimes it just happened " I messed up my hate potion because of all that! I thought Zander had been in real trouble!" .........Had he just said that he was concerned for another person? Nope! nope he hadn't! except he did.

At the mention of him giving books to read, the Gryffindor groaned. Seriously? books? UGH. Even if they were potion books he could learn from just the thought of READING made everything boring. But he would accept the offer non the less by nodding his head a few seconds afterwards. Alright so the assignment it was. Kevin actually had the list with him in his robe pocket so he took it out and unfolded it. "Okay"

He stood up from the chair and walked to the table before placing the list down. He scanned it with his eyes and sighed heavily. "I hate potions that requires waiting!" He hated even waiting for two minutes let alone a whole week! "Is everything here in this room? I've never been in here before..."

So Kevin could also be at a loss for words.

Cosgrach noted it down and was glad to see it - not for making Kevin uncomfortable, but for seeing that the boy cared.

He let the 'Flailsteed' pass. Instead, he smiled in a friendly way. See how civil they both were? How smooth it made things go? Hopefully Kevin took notice of it and acted accordingly in the future.

"I'm glad to hear," he said softly, "we are not your enemies, but people who want to help you in life for the future." Yeah? Cosgrach didn't say it out loud, as he counted on Kevin's quick wit to get the hidden meaning: 'I'll forget the past if you behave.'

The corners of his lips curled in a smirk. "Sorry for that." But really, Cosgrach bore no ill to Zander . . . only a few words and japes. It wasn't his fault the boy was so afraid of him!

Was that a groan? Cosgrach eyed the kid, but soon enough he was agreeing. Good.

"Oh, not here. I mean, there is everything here, but you should brew the assignment potion in the lab where I can see easily." It wouldn't be fair to others too. Cosgrach didn't want a mob accusing him of helping Kevin.

"We will discuss potions properties at the class tomorrow," he said, "and I'd rather we wait until that before continuing. Then, once you digest everything said at class and reading whatever you can from the books, we can meet a week later here again at this hour to see how you brew a potion." Sure, Cosgrach had seen it at lessons, but he had never paid enough attention.

Sounded good?

He still freaked out when people smiled at him in a friendly way. It was just strange because he was so used to having dissapointed looks being sent his way. It was a good change though especially because for once the two of them weren't fighting... And that's when it hit him. They had been alone in a room for possibly more than five minutes now and they hadn't tried to attack one another...this should get in a record book...

"I know that..." now. Honestly, he hadn't even thought of it like that two years ago. He still didn't like authoritative figures but he did see that he needed them in order to built a proper future. Another thing that suddenly hit him....he was growing up. Just...WHAAAT?

The boy pocketed the list of ingredients back in his Gryffindor robe and turned away from the table he had been standing at to look at the Professor. "Well, technically this is a lab too..." he said as he looked around. Right? "But okay" he was definitely going to do that assignment. Potion properties?! As in they were going to have a theoritical class tomorrow? "Mweeeeeh i don't like theory" he admitted before he could even think about what he was saying.

He walked back to the chair and grabbed his bag. "Alright then, see you next week" and he smiled before turning around and jogged out of the room.

The Professor should have mentioned they'd be taking care of these things. Seriously, if she knew she'd have been playing fairy babysitter for the rest of the week she'd have let three of them back out of the jar and content herself with only one but it was a bit late for that now, wasn't it? They were getting along nice enough in that jar but she bet if she let just one out the others would riot about the injustice...if they developed the brain to.

Four fairies though...

Felix had been happy enough to see them and that was precisely why she couldn't take care of them in her dorm. Her kneazle was persistent and she didn't think the Professor would have appreciated the story of their early demise.

"We'll probably have to colour their wings different." She commented to Dima as she entered the room of his imagination's choosing. "Otherwise we'll never know which is which." Four was plenty to share so she didn't mind having Dima tag along for the homework or him choosing the room they ended up in. It was all the same to her so long as these things didn't die.
