Bright and shining with a variety of different colors, Simply Stylish Salon sits towards the entrance of Hogsmeade's street where all can see. The funky hair salon looks more to be built out of plastic than the usual wood and stone one would see down the street. Decked out with greens, blues, and oranges on the outside with a handful of fun decoration shapes such as stripes, triangles, and stars, this shop is anything but ordinary!
On the inside, you are immediately hit with wizard rock music playing through the shop as the yellows, reds, and orange colors and new assortment of flowing shapes, most notable of them all being the 'swirl', take your attention. A plush waiting area to the side holds comfortable couches and a clear glass table that sits upon a very fluffy rug that feels more like a cloud than anything. Hair styling magazines lay upon the tables as oddly shaped shelves of products the store sells line the walls.
Just before the styling stations is the receptionist desk, white and bizarrely shaped. The six styling stations themselves are both uniform and distinct in their own ways, each having a different shade of color as it's theme while the hair washing stations in the back are tranquil with blues and purples. Monte himself seems to blend into his surroundings as he is quite a colorful man, but never fear. Despite his unusual look, he is quite brilliant and talented at what he does!

He felt as though he hadn't be in the wizarding village in years. And Everett was contemplating walking straight up to Hogwarts and demanding that they allow his underage son to visit and spend the day with him.
Although, truth be told he wouldn't have to do too much demanding. Annie would probably look at him right away, know what he wanted, and let him have it because 1. she was a good friend, but mostly because 2. he was amazing.
Entering the castle however wasn't the plan for today. After all, he had seen Kyroh recently, and yes he did he missed the boy, but it wasn't a demand worthy sort of miss. Today he had more pressing matters.
Pulling the door Dash stepped into the salon and took a look around.

The bad thing about going to Hogsmeade was that you almost always ran into someone that you knew.
In today's case, that someone was Cosgrach Culloden. As the voice addressed him, Dash turned. It took a few seconds until the lightbulb went off and the realization game to him. "Cossy." Dash smirked, at the man, not just because he was a former classmate but also because he taught his son? "I'd say that it's nice to see you, but there'd be a high probability that i'd be lying."

Was that the ever lovely pitched doorbell RIIIINGING in Monte's ears???
BURSTING through the new back shimmering curtains, Monte shook and wiggled to the beat of the music. He may have been growing in age, but he looked as YOUNG and VIBRANT as ever! "Good MOOOOORNIIIIIING!" he shimmied towards the two gentlemen. MERLIN'S BLUE NOSEHAIRS! One of those gentlemen had marvelous peppered hair. In faaact, the man looked gossip magazine familiar!
Monte GASPED!"Do I knooooooow you?" Monte pointed and wiggled his finger at the peppered haired man.
Cosgrach laughed with an edge to his voice. Would the man EVER grow up?
"Ditto," he said, and made a gesture as if he was going to say more, but the shopkeeper happened. Cosgrach wasn't expecting this kind of a greeting, much less being known by him. He squinted at the man.
"I don't think so, no." Well, he didn't know the man.

As if the man didn't want to see him again. The Potions professor was after all, the one who had greeted him first. "Well, then it's damn nice to see you again." Lying or not? The answer should have been clear. "So how's Hogwarts treating-"
Dash's sentence was cut off by the an explosion through the shimmering curtains. He leaned over and nudged his former housemate with a smirk. "How rude of you Cossy. Of course you know him, don't you remember?"

"No clue." His smirk grew, and Dash didn't even bother to lower his voice as he looked between the two men. He supposed either Culloden knew the man and forgot, the man was confusing Culloden with someone else, or his sons Professor now had a new stalker. Either way, nothing affected him at all. "You can't possibly expect me to remember things in your mind. Even you're not that daft."

Monte was CERTAIN that he was someone people would remember. His shining personality? His sparkling white teeth? His dashing sense of style? What was there NOT to remember?? "Oh what a shaaaame. I was certain I knew that peppered hair somewhere."
Monte waaaaved his hands at the both of them. "Well, yoouuu two just let me know you're ready for Monte here to make you FAAAAABulOOUUS." Monte would give them time to mull over the possibilities of style.

"Did he actually vocalize that in your presence or is that just what you say before every class to make you feel better about yourself?" He KNEW that Kyroh was doing well in potions, one of the few subjects that he himself had done horribly in school. So of course Dash was proud of him for that. "Because I do that last year you had to buy back his favour with a potion after claiming not to like him?"
Explain that Cosgrach. Was he actually such a bad teacher that he had to chase after first years for them to like him?
Dash would believe that. In fact, he did. His eyes flickered to the hairstylist and he nodded. He WAS in this store for a reason after all.

Well. Cosgrach shrugged. He didn't know this shopkeeper, but Cosgrach Culloden was a name known in potions. Maybe the shopkeeper had read one of his articles? Yeah. Well, the potions man stood a bit straighter and smiled. Better to be polite to his admirers, no?
"I don't need a new hair style, thank you," he said politely, and rolled his eyes at Dash.
"I didn't know you were this jealous of me to distort my intentions," he said in his best I'm-better-than-you tone, "I gave potions to almost everyone who was successful and bright. Are you sure Kyroh is your son? I'd say his understanding is the double of your overall capacity, but you have none to begin with."

Jealous? Of him? The Slytherin laughed at loud, obviously amused. "And why pray tell would I be jealous of you Cossy?" Hmm? Let's hear it.
Dash stared dully at the man who was questioning him if HIS son was actually HIS. He wasn't even offended over the fact that his intelligence had just been insulted because really, who was this man to say anything?
Culloden was lucky that he wasn't the sort of man that would punch him in the face for that comment. Yes, no wand. Just a punch right to the nose. "You know, i'm not too sure come to think of it. I'll go ask his mother." Dash responded voice laced with acid.
He could just picture that conversation with Gloria.
