Opening the door to the muggle studies classroom, Kevin entered the room a bit suspiciously. The class looked like a normal classroom though so when he saw this he fully entered. Finding a chair and desk somewhere in the middle, the Gryffindor turned his attention to the camera's on the table and then leaned back before his eyes went to the Professor.

"You're not crazy right?" he asked instead of saying a hello. 'Cause some Professors had gone mad this year...

Kace entered the muggle studies classroom and saw he wasn't the only one here first. He saw Kevin there and he nodded and smiled. As he went to go pick his seat, he noticed the professor had some cameras up there. He even heard Kevin's question and couldn't help but snicker and laugh. That was not the question he was expecting. He waved to Hadley and said, "Hello Professor, how are you today?" He needed to be polite to his head of house and all. He began to wait for his buddies to show up, well the gryffinpuff gang. He got his notebook out and began to doodle.

Safety goggles. She had on safety goggles. Danger up ahead. This could be fun. There even seemed to be an assortment of muggle poisons at the front of the desk. And cameras again. Were they meant to be documenting life as it happened here at Hogwarts?

Cutty full entered, took a seat and drew out sheets of parchment and his worn-to-a nub Muggle pencil. He held out his hands to frame Kenji and Hadley.

Whoa. The Gryffindor was oddly photogenic.

Happily Lux made her way to the Muggle Studies classroom. She was eager to see what muggle things they would be working with today. "Hello, Professor Hadley!" Giving her Head of House a big smile, she found a seat by Kace. 'Hey!" She gave her friend a big smile too.

Angel enter the classroom and then saw the Professor with Safety Googles on... oh this was going to be dangerous. She wasn't crazy like the other Professors were was she, because if she was then she would walk out halfway through the lesson she'd had enough of Professor turning mad... who was she supposed to be anyway the mad scientist from back to the future? Or was it flubber?

"Morning Professor." Angel smiled, she wasn't going to let the professor see that she was scared instead she took a seat and waited for the lesson to start... this was going to be fun or scary she hadn't decided which yet.

Jasmine arrived at Muggle Studies and was one of the first students there. Seeing cameras on the table, Jasmine hoped that they would have another opportunity to take pictures. "Hello Professor", she said enthusiastically. Since the Professor was wearing goggles, maybe they would be developing the pictures too. Seeing Lux, Jasmine gave her a wave and then sat down. Once settled, she took out her pencil and pad and was very ready for class to begin.

Science.

SCIENCE WAS HAPPENING.

Gabriel had been wary...due to all the weirdness surrounding Hogwarts' lessons...but upon entering the Muggle Studies classroom...and seening the safety goggles and chemicals...Well, he grinned and took a seat somewhere in the front. No, he was NOT okay with the female professor...but his excitement about SCIENCE outweighed his anxiety about her.

Science did that for him. It was of the utmost importance.

....which is why he hoped Astronomy would be getting back to normal next lesson.

Anyway, was he getting his own goggles? That'd be neat...

Sophie was feeling good today, chipper as could be and ready to learn some MUGGLE STUFF. Muggles were so weird, weren't they? Personally, Soph was waiting for the day they got to play video games - Tobes had trained her pretty well in that department and she wanted to show UP some fellow purebloods.

Today, though, it seemed they'd be doing something with cameras, so... no video games today. That was okay. She briefly wondered if Fuller and Hadley were in cahoots with each other, though, as they both had them working with cameras this term. Not that she was complaining at all. She was just a little sad, though - Mo would have loved to be here for all this stuff, wouldn't he?

She wasn't going to tell him that the professors waited till after he was gone to teach about this stuff, though.

"G'day, professor," Sophie greeted Hadley brightly, not paying any attention to the woman's goggles as she found a seat and dug through her bag to fish out her Muggle school supplies. They were... in there somewhere.

Adi wondered what was up with Professors and camera this term. And chemicals were there too. Developing pictures, was that what they were going to be doing today?

"Hello, Professor Nairne,'' the fourth year said with a cheery smile. Oh looky. Angel was there already. No AJ nor Benny though. But there was Lux, Kace, Kevin, Cutty and Jasmine. Heeeey, guys!

Today Adi opted for a seat next to a Claw dude (Gabriel) he'd seen around loads. It was the same dude who had saved his friend in Astronomy class from Adi's pureed apples. "Hi.'' Grins for you, Mister.

Puck grinned as she made her way into the Muggle Studies classroom. It was simple, there wasn’t water all over the place but hey there were cameras and that was either going to be cool or really really boring. She chewed her lip and made her way further into the classroom.

“Hey Lux, Hey Kace” she grinned at her friends “Hello Professor Hadley” Puck grinned at the Professor and then sent Kevin a wave as well.

Ugg...

Benny wasn't sure what to make of things. He had been feeling off all recently and as he made down to the Muggle Studies classroom, he was dragging his feet. What had happened? He had found his trunk a mess and a tea cup and saucer under his pillow in the morning. The Gryffindor just wanted to get through class and try and feel better.

Slipping into the classroom, he took notice of those around, including the professor and his two best friends. "Hello Professor," he greeted the Hufflepuff HOH as best he could before slowly making his way towards Angel. If there was anything he remember, it was Benny hadn't spent that much time around his girlfriend lately. "Hey..." he said absently as he took a seat beside her, getting out his paper and pencil to be ready for the lesson.

Having classes after lunch was always a tricky thing. On the one hand she'd have been awake for hours and thus not tired but on the other she'd have just eaten and been in need of a nap. It was quite the dilemma. Lex would have said this was why you didn't feed Gryffindors when you wanted them to learn but she liked food very much so.......

"Afternoon Professor."

Oh hey cameras. First Charms class and now here. Would Professor Hadley let them keep the cameras like Fuller did? She didn't know what she'd do with two but that didn't matter, the point was getting them. "What's with the goggles? Are we exploding things today?"

Pinocchio walked into the classroom. He had considered songs, but today didn't seem like a singy day. It seemed like a big smile happy wavy kind of day. He was pleased to see yet another big note on the board in the yellow room. It meant MORE real boys and girls. Maybe his lesson would be fun too. He didn't know what a muggle was, but it seemed like he thought he was one.

He smiled REAL big and saved as extravagantly at the woman puppetmaster. There were LOTS of puppetmasters here. He spoke to her. [b] Hello there! Papa Gepetto would be proud of me. I made it here all by myself. He was still wearing the short overalls and bright yellow shirt. He had picked up a hat that probably fit a house elf he had seen laying about. Now he felt like a proper real boy.

So. Muggle Studies.

It was one of those subjects that Grayson was sure he couldn't possibly fail at because of how simple it can be. Sure, there will be some hard elements, especially if they decide to go into the physics and energy element of it all but really, he was pretty confident about this subject. He was also looking forward to seeing if they got the chance to work with any more foo--

Photography? Was THAT what they're doing? Learning how to take pictures that didn't move? Grayson was all up for THAT, especially if it gave him the chance to take more selfies and group shots. Man, this was gonna be a fun lesson. The chemicals, though? Interesting. Just interesting. He wasn't sure what he had been like with the Chemistry side of science back in primary school so this should be interesting.

ANYWAYS. "Afternoon, Professor," he called, giving her a nod before moving away from the door and over towards an empty seat. Somewhere where he could get a GOOD view of the front desk but not somewhere too close to the front. Didn't want to seem like an eager beaver. His things are taken out, which did NOT include any quills. Yeah, he still remembered that tacos lesson where their quills had been vanished. But man, those tacos had been good.

Muggle Studies time. Time to see if this class, being taught at a wizarding school, would be normal or crazy, as all wizard schools and classes are. No. That was probably just Hogwarts.

Devlin walked into the room, then stopped short at the sight of his teacher. Why was she wearing those goggles. He stared at her for a few moments, sighed, and shook his head. This should be something, shouldn't it? "Right." He said before finding himself a desk to sit at.

"I'll smile for your picture, Professor!" Then Zahra hit Professor Hadley, WHO ACTUALLY taught Zahra the most profound thing she'd ever learned at Hogwarts, WITH A HUGE CHEESE SMILE. CHEEEEEEEEESE.

Zahra couldn't help it. She just couldn't. This kid. WHAT WAS HE WEARING?! It was great. Just really fantastic. Zahra died laughing AGAIN at this Puff. "Anyone ever tell you that you fell out of the Hufflepuff tree and hit EVERY branch on the way down?" Because this kid was PUFF to the CORE. Zahra loved the Puffy-tons, so she didn't mean it meanly - just.... you could pick out the Hufflepuffs. Like this one. In ... no really, what was he WEARING?! Zahra was so tickled. She wanted an outfit JUST LIKE IT.

Lunch had been very productive. Toby had managed to scarf down a huge meal impossibly fast (record time) before returning to the library to intensely study Arithmancy (which, alongside History of Magic, was probably likely to be his weakest subject). The Hufflepuff was going full steam ahead with studying for these OWL exams, that was for sure. And he'd gotten so engrossed that he'd lost track of time and almost forgot about Muggle Studies.

But now he was here, school bag over his shoulder and fit to bursting with textbooks and parchment and everything. Toby took a seat beside Sophie and immediately mirrored her actions by digging through his over-stuffed bag. The notebook was easy to find but... where was his pencil? Finding it in this lot would be a real achievement, that was for sure.

OH, and of course.

"Afternoon Professor Had-... uh, Nairne," Toby said distractedly, looking up at his head of house briefly as he spoke before looking back to his bag (WHERE was that pencil?). Also, the change of name. That would take some getting used to, but he'd get there.

... If that pencil didn't show up soon, Toby was just gonna have to empty his bag right there on the desk. But not yet. Still persevering and searching.

Dorothy skipped through the door, swinging her basket jauntily. That board thing had told her to be here, so she was here. Somehow finding rooms in this place was far easier than finding the yellow brick road, which she was SUPPOSED to be following and yet couldn't seem to find. Maybeeee she was going to get information about it here! Yes, that made lots of sense. She came to a halt in front of the lady in the front of the room and said, "Hello! You must be the good witch!" before flouncing to the seat next to Pinocchio and sliding into it.

Ahh, cameras. She had seen those in Kansas! Dorothy wriggled excitedly in her seat. She MUST be close to home if there were cameras. She grinned down at her basket. "Don't worry, Toto. We're almost there!" Sigh. It was far less fulfilling without a real dog in there.

Yes, Marigold was still taking this class (even with a muggle mum) for two main reasons: the smaller one being it was an easy OWL, and the big one being that she simply loved Hadle-Nairne. She did. "Hello, professor!" she said on her way in, smiling hugely. She joined Zahra at a table, though didn't laugh at the hufflepuff boy. He was dressing weirdly, though. WEIRD. Maybe he was afflicted too, with the fairytale jinx or something. Wrinkling her nose slightly, she faced Z and prodded her with the eraser side of her pencil. "Are you still Zahra in there? Or are you like... Zahra!Mulan?" Because if someone was going to be Mulan and make a man out of herself and defeat the Huns - a.k.a. trolls - it would be her.

Eden was still VERY much in a sour mood. She didn't feel like being here...she didn't feel like being AT Hogwarts much at all. But here she was, slugging into class...and she couldn't lie, she was somewhat excited about this class being part muggle and all. She HOPED she would know some answers. And also be okay. Since she had been raised in the muggle world and whatnot. "Afternoon, Professor..."

Walking into the room--more cameras, eh? The Ravenclaw didn't mind whatsoeve. Hehehe. So maybe she was cheered just a bit--but if Clara or Phe walked through that door--she'd be a sourpuss once more.

She nodded at KEVIN....who was probably not a fan of hers--but whatever, she'd be nice. For now. Ooooh JASMINE was here, too--but she just waved at her friend and went to take a seat by PUCK.

"Heeeey Puckerooooni--" she said, rather lamely, and smiled sadly. "How's it going?" she asked the Gryffindor, pulling out her notebook and pencils. It felt like muggle school all over again--and Eden adored it. ADORED. She send a wave at both GRAYSON and TOBY, though, before turning back to Puck and getting comfortable.

Did Grayson even remember her? Probably not. Eden was...easily forgettable...hmm. But Toby...she had TOUCHED his SKATEBOARD. So he SHOULD rememebr her...right?

Muggle studies was a class that she just so happened to excel at considering her background. No magic would be happening here, and she was totally okay with that. As she walked into the classroom, AJ spotted the professor first. "Hello professor," Her eyes scanned the objects. "Ohhh, are we going to take pictures today? The old fashioned way?

Benny, Angel, and Adi had all beaten her to class. It was nice to see Angel and Benny sitting together. Did that mean that Benny was all back to normal, and the couple was okay again? AJ sincerely hoped so. The second year spotted her head girl, and made her way over. Her bags fell to the floor beside her, as she took a seat. "We need to talk explosives." And hi.

Speaking of Hufflepuffs! This Puff was being funny, too. Merlin only knew what she was on about, same as that other Puff. "Errm... what'd you call me?!?" hehhehe But really, what? "I'm... yep. I'm me. I think. Do I look different or something?"

Ruby had been looking FORWARD to this lesson and it had nothing to do with the class itself, just that certain things about this particular class had been decided. She entered the room in almost perfect uniform. Almost. Her skirt was as short as she could get away with, all things considered.

She greeted the professor back, noticed the cameras and then sashayed towards her intended seat... except whooops! She dropped her pencil. Right by Grayson's desk. Obvy she had to pick that up. She crouched down (like a laaaady, because she wasn't going to bend over in a skirt today), kept her back straight, and scooped it up. Then she gave him a little smile and wiggled the pencil at him instead of waving. He best have remembered their deal, because Ruby had.

She straightened up and went to her seat, sitting down carefully, waving around here and there at other people worthy of her notice. They knew who they were. Cuties. Friends. All of the above.

Hmm, it was a bit breezy in here, right? No? Just her?

"Alright everyone, we're going to go ahead and get started," she announced as she noticed a bit of chatter around the classroom. She waited a moment for the conversations to end as she stood up at the front of the classroom.

"I assume most of you have noticed the portraits that line the halls of our beloved school move. And talk and maybe the subjects disappear even." She paused. "In muggle portraits, however, subjects don't move. They're frozen on paper. But whether wizard or muggle, photography is a science and an art form. There are two distinct types of processing used to develop pictures, which depend on the camera in which the picture was shot with. Anyone have any idea of the types of photo processing?"
