| | |  Gobstones Consolation Match: Ravenclaw vs. Hufflepuff
 The building used for the Gobstones matches had had it's doors opened to the brisk, end of winter air and its surfaces magically dusted by Professor Botros and Mr. Kitridge, the school's Gobstones sponsors and made ready for the term's consolation match.
The blue and yellow marbles were set out and the playing 'field' had been marked. Chairs were set out on each side of the arena creating a Viewing Area for those not playing to watch.
OOC: Remember only members sorted into Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff Houses can post in this thread, it is not a chat thread and there is no rping.
Read the Gobstones Rule book before playing and if you did last term, please check again for potential updates and changes.

Mr Kitridge had walked in with his hands stuck in his coat pockets against the cold morning air, the Ancient Runes Professor had graciously set up the hall for the third match so Leo could focus on lighting the fireplaces and getting warmed up. As the teams assembled he put his wand to his mouth to enhance his whistle to get the players attention. "Good morning and welcome to the Gobstones club, today's our third game of the season, I hope you're all as excited and geared up as I am." Not waiting for any responses Leo quickly signalled for the teams to choose their representatives for the first shot of the game.
"Let's begin!"

The blue stone took off and rolled past several obstacles before it stopped. The yellow stone rolled past several obstacles and forward until it just surpassed its opponent.

Thornton stayed on for Ravenclaw while the Hufflepuffs switched in prefect Adi Rehman. The two boys swung their shooters and kicked their stones forward on Mr Kitridge command. The blue stone rolled and rolled until it smacked into a giant obstacle that just loomed up in front of it and it came to a stop. The yellow stone rounded several obstacles including the giant one before it too stopped.
"2 points to Hufflepuff!" Leo announced.

Rehman of Hufflepuff and Baines of Ravenclaw marched out for a new battle. The players nudged the stones of their houses, the blue stone surpassed the yellow one significantly and stopped at a decent distance from the Jack Stone.
