Bay was trying to rush to his Astronomy Lesson even though he was way early, why had all the classes had to start so early. He had sworn that last year the classes started at least a week in.. or was he just not paying attention.

Turning a corner he ended up knocking his books on the corner of the wall and they went flying everywhere. "great!" he groaned as he bent over to try to pick up everything.. "ughhh there are my notes" he spoke to himself as he scooped them up in his hand. "what else could happen" he sighed.

Cassie was walking joyfully down the corridor. This was just such a wonderful evening and she knew that an Astronomy Class was going on, so she knew students would be out and about a little later, so no need to have to worry about any misbehaving. Though she knew all these sweet children wouldn't cause problems anyway.

Hearing the sound of things scattering the blonde moving a bit quicker in her already bouncy step. "Are you alright?" Her first encounter with a student and he was well she wasn't sure what he was at the moment. All she could see where things being gathered by his quick hands. "I can help you." She bent at the knees and reached down to pick up some scattered items. The down fall to high heels was picking things up off the floor.

hearing a voice his head snapped up, it was the new professor…for Divination right?? thinking about the opening feast he tried to remember…. yeah…. sounded about right to him. "I'm alright, just moving to quickly" he admitted, he always was rushing to get places to make sure he wasn't late or missed anything good. Seeing that she was helping him pick up his stuff he smiled. "she sure seems nice" he thought "thank you".

Oh, then it occurred to him that it was best for him to introduce himself. "Hi… sorry.. I'm Victor Bay, I'm in Gryffindor and I'm a sixth year" he said proudly, it always seemed to be apart of any of his introductions which made him chuckle a little thinking about it. so far so good, he wasnt getting into trouble and the new Professor was actually helping him.

Moving too quickly, well that wasn't good now was it. "You should really slow down. You might miss something worth the extra moment if you are always hurrying along." People were always rushing around, why do that when you could relax and enjoy little moments. "Headed to Astronomy?" Wasn't that taught by the suit man. She still hadn't figured out why he seemed so familiar to her. Maybe she should pop into the class for a moment, say hi. "You are most certainly welcome." Look at her being all professorish and helping a student. Eeeep! This was exciting she wanted to give snaps, but she had books in her hand.

Oh and he was introducing himself, this was nice and good to know. Though she was horrible at names at times. "Victor the Gryffindor, got it." Giving one of her huge bubbly smiles. "Oh a sixth year, well you should know your way around nicely than." Maybe he should help her a little know where things were. Hmm what was she going to go do anyway?

Her green eyes glanced around for more items. "I think you might have everything now." Didn't seem like the corridor was the inside of his trunk, so he probably had everything.

"yes, I should" wow she seemed to be very insightful and helpful, still gathering his things he looked up "ughh yeah, even though the classroom is so close to my common room I always like to be early, you never know what can happen right?" he smiled.

"yeah I know most of the castle, but this is only my second year here." he started to blush because he was a bit embarrassed at the next part "my mum home schooled me" ughhh LAME!!!!! thank goodness she changed the subject. "Yeah I think I have everything." his stomach started to grumble. "oh looks like I need a snack" he moved to the wall and sat back down, opening up his bag to take his snacks out and his notes in. "I have plenty of time left before class, did you want to join me for some Peanutbutter and Jelly sandwiches?" it was always such a great snack when you didn't want to take forever preparing it.

She couldn't help but just smile at the young man. He seemed so eager to go to classes. This was a great thing for a new professor to see. She was hopeful that all students were this excited about lessons. "It's great that you like to be early though." She commended him on that, but chuckled at his statement. "You're right you never know what will happen before a class starts." She remembered a few being exciting even before the lessons started in her day.

Only his second year, but a sixth year? This was about to confuse the blonde just a bit, until he said the next part, "Ooooooooh home schooled. That's so fascinating. Why did they decide to have you come here?" She wouldn't have even realized if she was stepping over a line of questions, she was always so fascinated by the home schooled concept.

She had to tilt her head very curiously at him. He was sitting down? This was curious, did students just sit and eat in the corridor? "Is this normal? I mean students just sitting in the corridor eating?" Wouldn't he rather be at the great hall? "Oh no thank you, but that's soooo sweet of you to offer."

"thanks Professor" he beamed at her, she was really nice. thank goodness he didn't want any scary Professor's teaching him, he would be too afraid to learn and he'd most likely as his parents to be home schooled again. SCARY = BAD.

Loving that she agreed with him he was actually looking forward to his lesson with her. "I don't know really? my parents work for the ministry but i don't know what they do, they normally never let me leave the house" confessing with a sad face.

oh… is he getting into trouble… NOOOOOO.. putting his head down he replied "sometimes I do, to have some alone time or to think about things. sometimes no one comes around" then thinking maybe that he meant for her to leave which he didn't. Looking at his sandwich in the bag, he thought it was best that he ate this later instead of possibly getting into trouble. "your very welcome" wow she had so much manners, he wondered where she grew up.

“Oh goodness you don’t have to thank me. That’s what I’m here for.” Professors were supposed to be there to help. She always enjoyed helping, so helping her students when in need came easily. “You don’t make a habit of scattering your things though do you?” Was he clumsy like this all the time she wondered, not that it really mattered.

That was different. They worked at the ministry which wasn’t a very interesting job in her opinion, but yet they didn’t want him to leave the house. “Are they Aurors or mysterious or something?” That was the only reason she could figure they would be that over protective.

Giving the boy a smile she could understand his logic. “You know a great place to have a snack. Is the Room of Serenity near my office. When I was here I spent so much time up in the tower I usually ate near there. So I made sure to make a room that you could study or just have some tea and what’s better with tea then a snack.” Or a sandwich, whatever really.

Hallie had taken to reading while leaning against a windowsill in the seventh floor corridor, hoping her twin would make an appearance. Being the older and the braver and typically more-composed one, it was strange how being sorted into different houses seemed harder on Hallie. She'd loiter by the Ravenclaw common room during her free time in hopes she'd catch Coral-Bay coming or going, but it almost never happened. CB was probably busy with her dorm mate and new friends...

Halcyon wasn't sure why she kept doing this. It only frustrated her when Coral didn't appear, and it made her bitter over every Ravenclaw who walked passed, silently accusing them of preoccupying her sister so much that she's been forgotten and left behind.

Hallie closed her book and nodded to herself, promising this was the very last time she was going to wait for someone who wasn't coming. If she wanted to be the braver and more-composed twin, she'd have to make some friends of her own. In her own house, even if she wasn't a huge fan of it. She couldn't stand it if Coral was happier or more popular than her. They needed to be happy and popular together or not at all.

Hallie sat where she was standing and flipped to the last page of her book and began writing down a detailed checklist of what she would need to do in order to make some friends of her own.

Kace never explored the seventh floor corridor before. He was amazed by how big this castle was. He only explored the grounds, he got those pathways and little shortcuts down. Except for in the castle, he always managed to get lost. He never noticed he was on the seventh floor corridor till he saw the Gryffindor Portrait. He knew his feet traveled a little far. As he was making his way back, he noticed a girl. She looked by her lonesome.

He smiled and decided to meet a new friends. Besides he saw yellow on her uniform and knew she was puff. The question was, why hadn't he seen her before? Maybe she was knew? But she didn't look like a first year. He saw her with her book in her hand. He cleared his throat so he would scare her....

"Hey do you mind if I join you? I always find sketching near windowsills are easier to draw. I can look outside and let my mind wander." he said showing his sketchbook in his hand.

Hallie looked up,a bit startled, but smiled instantly. "Oh, oh, yes, of course, it wouldn't be a bother at all." Her eyes flicked to his uniform. Hufflepuff. Obviously her plan to make friends in her own house would be easier than she thought. She eyed his sketchbook with curiosity.

"I can see why this would be a good place to draw. Are you good at drawing? I like to draw sometimes but I'm not very good at it." She curled her hair behind her ear and smiled at him. "I'm Hallie, by the way. Halcyon, really, but Hallie is better. I'm new here." She offers him her hand. "And you are?"

Kace was relieved she didn't think he was a creep. He sat down across from her with his sketchbook on his lap. He saw her eyes flick to his uniform and he grinned. "I see your a hufflepuff too...how come i never seen you around?" he asked curiously. She saw her eye his sketchbook and he grinned some more.

"Yeah it is and ermm i think i am okay.." he said shrugging. "I will show you some of my doodles but they are unique to wizarding standards..." he said flipping his book over and showing her his doodles. He wondered if she will like them.

OH? And her name was said. Interesting name. "Well nice to meet you Hallie. I like that better." he smiled and continued to shade in his doodles. "What year are you?" he asked curiously.

"I spend most of my time in my dorm or with sister, so I haven't seen much of anyone around. I've been wanting to branch out more though." Hallie smiled politely.

She looked over his sketchbook and broke a grin. "Wow..." She looked up at him. "These are great. I like to draw dragons and flowers and stuff, but I like these much more."

"I am a third year. My twin and I used to be home-schooled because our parents travel around a lot, but we got in trouble and were sent here as punishment."

"Well i am glad you did branch out. You will find there is a lot of people in this school than you realize." he grinned. "I mean i have met so many people just exploring the castle like you for example..." he said gesturing towards Hallie. And she liked to draw dragons and flowers and such? That was pretty cool. "I mean i would like to see your drawings soon." he offered to her.

Oh? She was a third year? That was interesting. "I am a fourth year so i am not too far behind you.." he said and it was nice their age difference wasn't such a big factor. Oh? She was sent here a punishment. Such a great punishment. He smirked and said, "Well i think this is such a harsh punishment.." he said sarcastically. "You will have fun here trust me, i can show you around if you want." he offered her.

"A decent meal?" Justine echoed, turning her head to face the Ravenclaw boy as she continued leading him through the corridor, she was very determined to get to the kitchens, after all the girl was starving, and there was the added bonus of having been there before as well, which lent an added later of excitement to the whole thing. "A dragon for you is a decent meal? You' 'ave a bigger appetite than I zought," Justine laughed, shaking her head at the boy's silliness.

"Now... I'm vondering if you can guess vhere we are 'eaded?" Justine teased, laughing lightly as she lead the boy down the corridor, a big smile on her face.

"Yeah, well, learning stuff is hard work, and it takes a lot of energy to remember the content of sixteen textbooks at once." Andrew grinned at Justine's remark. As they continued down the corridor, and Andrew thought he was beginning to form some idea of where they were headed, he couldn't help but glance out the windows as they passed them one by one.

"It's a tad late for a visit to the kitchens, is it not?" He asked, gesturing towards the faint twilight outside. He loved to tease the girl, and asked his question more because he lacked a clever way to tell her he'd figured out where they were going, rather than to actually get an answer. In any case, he didn't stop to speak, but continued to follow the gorgeous girl down the corridor.

'Does this count as a date? I guess not...' He thought to himself, frowning slightly.

Justine could only laugh, sixteen textbooks!? Goodness gracious! Justine loved books too, but the thought of reading sixteen in a row without a break for some athletic activity or something, made Justine feel impossibly tired. "You know zere's more to life zhan just books, oui?" Justine said, eyebrows raised, her smile incredulous. She decided to make it a point to kidnap Andrew every once in awhile from his books and take him on an adventure of some sort. Starting with tonight.

At Andrew's words, Justine stopped walking and turned to him with a look of mock offense. "You 'ave ruined everything! It vas supposed to be a surprise!" Justine said, poking the boy in the ribs for his transgression. The nerve of him! Ruining her fun! She would have to think of a way to punish him for that... Hmm.. "No macaroons for you!"

Andrew was in his heart of hearts aware that sixteen textbooks was more than any student would normally put themselves through. Andrew's love of reading extended far beyond what the average person would be willing to read before getting bored, but sixteen books in one sitting was a fair bit too much, even for him. "I'm sure there's plenty more to life than books. Why don't you tell me what YOU like to do outside of the library?" He smiled, knowing full well that not everybody shared his passion for reading. The last thing he wanted to do was bore Justine.

"Excuse me!" Andrew scoffed at Justine's feigned offense. "I think you'll find it was you who asked me to guess where we were going. I can't help it if I'm that good." he tried to feign annoyance, but could hardly hold down his laughter, especially when he received a poke in the ribs. Deciding to return fire, he stretched his arm out and poked Justine lightly in the side. Gasping as she delivered her final judgement, he threw his hands in the air in mock horror.

"No more macaroons?! No! Surely, you cannot bereave a man of his macaroons, Justine! This is cruel and unusual punishment!" He pleaded with her.

"Vhat I like to do?" Justine echoed, raising her eyebrow at the question. What did she like to do? Anything sports related really, and anything to do with being outdoors, Justine loved being out in the sun, it was where she felt most at home. "I like flying... I love it, actually I vas going to try for zee Quidditch team zhis year before zhey cancelled it, vhat else... Vhat else... I love Muggle sports, like baseball and soccer... " Justine said, her voice trailing off as she tried to think of anything else she liked to do. "I like chess too, and.. No, I can't zhink of anything else," Justine finished, shaking her head at her own forgetfulness. Absentmindedness was not an approved Ravenclaw behavior.

At Andrew's annoyance, Justine could only roll her eyes. It was his fault, it was totally his fault. With his impossibly clever mind and his keen powers of observation he had ruined her fun. Justine squeaked femininely as Andrew poked her in the side, jumping in the air a bit at the unexpected touch. Well, that hadn't been a very cool reaction. "Vhat kind of man pokes a lady?" Justine said, trying to regain her cool.

"I am sorry Andrew, but it is my final judgement! Zough.... Perhaps zere is a vay for you to make up for your transgression... " Justine said, her smile turning into a wicked smirk as she rounded the corner, and out of the corridor.

Andrew listened intently to Justine as she spoke of her interest in sports and the outdoors. He perhaps didn't quite share her enthusiasm for strenuous physical activity, but he did love flying. The outdoors he found to be both fascinating and stunningly captivating, especially in the warmer months. Although he loved winter, a bit of sunshine and a cold drink was nothing to shake your head at, especially if both could be enjoyed in the company of good friends.

"I adore flying!" He beamed over at Justine, ecstatic that they had found something else they had in common. "And Chess as well! Can't say I've had the pleasure of playing 'baseball' though." He admitted, knowing full well that in this day and age, most people his age had at least TRIED a muggle sport. In Andrew's case, the opportunity had simply never presented itself.

"A horribly uncouth brute of a man like myself!" The slim, bespectacled boy answered Justine's question, hardly stifling a chuckle as he flexed and made a boorish face. The laughter he was trying to hold in escaped as he reached to teasingly poke her again, just missing her as she turned the corner.

"Oh yeah?" He laughed. "So what can I do to make up for my 'transgression'?"

Wow she was just to nice.. He hasn't met a Professor that didn't mind helping their students as much as this Professor. "has any one ever told you how nice you are?" he knew it must sound weird coming from a student but it was true.. and he wasn't hitting on her at all he had a girl… Lux… its funny because in a small way this Professor reminded him of Lux. Smiling he answered "ohhh no… its just I wasn't paying attention this time".

Bay was a pretty tidy person and he loved to keep his things clean and tidy… well most of the time, while he was doing his OWL's his room was a mess. ohhh the ministry people.. "I heard they are Aurors Professor.. to help keep us safe" well he hoped that they were here for that reason, but who knew… this was Hogwarts after all.

ohhh she knew a great place to have a snack… his ears perked up as he listened… "I haven't seen that room before.. I'll be sure to make sure I have a snack there this year" he said… maybe he will bring Lux with him, that would make for a nice little date.. plus anything with food was amazing.

Cassie waved off the boy like he was talking rubbish, but she chuckled and smiled. “Oh I just like helping it’s no need to say I’m nice, but it is nice to hear. So thank you.” It was always nice to get compliments and you should always thank the person for them. She was glad that he wasn’t one to habit scattering his tings. “It happens to the best of us really. I found my things liked to get up and walk off when I was here many years ago.” She knew they didn’t literally walk off, but she knew friends had fun putting them places as well as Peeves.

She looked at him for a few moments, “You heard? You don’t know what your parents do?” She was a bit confused. If he was homeschooled and he didn’t know what they did for a living, then maybe that was why he was now here and not homeschooled. Though she was still a little confused about the us safe part and then it hit her. “Oh. .no.. no, I know what they are here for. I was meaning your parents could their jobs be the reason they didn’t want you to leave the house?” Did that clear things up?

Another smile crossed the blonde’s lips, “Oh you will have to check it out. I’ve decorated it just nicely to welcome students in to study or have a snack. I just want everyone to enjoy it.” She enjoyed her tower and was hoping to get more traffic there soon. It was quiet for the beginning of term.

Angel had listened to the old man and was going to get Kevin back but how she hadn't decided yet though she wasn't going to do anything serious of course she wasn't like that and normally she wouldn't do anything like this but the man she had meet seemed to have made up her mind for her, it seemed to be the done thing in this strange place and Angel was confused about why someone who was supposed to be stopping these sort of things would actually tell her to do it well she was up for the challenge she just had to wait for Kevin to come.

Leaving the Gryffindor Common Room, Kevin jumped down the staircase two stairs at a time. Something he usually did when he walked downstairs because it was quicker than just walking. Entering the seventh floor corridor, the second year walked through it while he grabbed a chocolate frog from out of his pocket. He ripped it open and bit of the frog's head while checking the card that was with it. Dzou Yen..mweh he already had that one.

He chewed on it as he saw Angel in the corridor as well and he grinned. "Hey Angel, bug free hair i see" he laughed as he stepped towards her, taking another bite from the candy.
