Connor walked into the tent and was amazed as usual by the use of magic here, how fantastic! And paint ball! If he had to be stuck in this castle he supposed this was for the best, he was just thinking of how fun a castle wide game could be! He quickly read the instructions. pingo and the color. He could manage that. This would be fun, he just needed to wait for other players.

Zoe headed directly for the paintball tent. She had her wand at the ready immediately. She loved playing paintball with her cousins and was really looking forward to playing! Awesome idea! They couldn't go out in the freezing cold and she was looking forward to having some fun and away from thinking about her OWLs. She looked around as she entered the tent and immediately started moving towards one of the bushes, to hide behind but her eyes darting everywhere for others who might want to take aim at her.

To say he was excited was an understatement. As he walked around the event seeing all that was happening his feet stopped on point at the word "PAINTBALL" Not only was that the best thing ever, Magic paintball, but it was also one of his favorite things to go do with Ana back home. then again back home they played REAL paintball with the air paint guns and the armor and all, it was such fun.

Walking forward he squinted around as he drew his wand out. Thankfully he was wearing clothes he didn't care about much. His eyes scanned the area as he took in the scenery, yup.. he should go over there.... in that ditch, it was perfect. Keeping his wand at the ready he made his way there and rolled into it efficiently.

Yesss.. perfect. Come on paintball friends.

Bevelry Wayne heard about this event in the common room and only one thing stuck out the most. Paintball War. Absolutely so! There was no way SHE was going to go -- what was it? -- butterfly watch. Or whatever it was. She wanted action. Some moving around, get her muscles warm, some adrenaline rush.

So here she was, clad in ripped jeans, boots and a cool jacket. This was a battle suit. It yelled: HISS, GET OUT OF MY WAY. Perfect, no?

Entering the tent she walked around a bit and spotted the most interesting being in here. The Boyfriend. Without as much of a warning and with a smirk on her face, the Slytherin made her way toward him and hopped onto his back.

Yes. Quiet, shy, little Beverly Wayne was currently on her Boyfriend's back. He didn't mind, did he?

"Hi."

Kevin had been wandering around alone, wondering which game he wanted to play first. The Go-Karts sounded like fun but while he was making his way over his mismatched colored eyes noticed the tent and the sign "Paintball War" above it. He had never played it before but knew what it was and immediately got excited.

As he entered the tent, he made sure that he had his wand at the ready just in case and was momentarily stunned by what was inside the tent. A forest...a freaking forest how cool was that?! Of course the second year knew it was not real but it was still cool.

Oh right, he should probably find a hiding place and plan an ambush. With a small grin, Kevin ran towards a fallen log nearby, jumped over it and let himself drop on the ground. Making sure that his body was hidden from sight. He sat up a bit so that he could peek over the log and pointed his wand over it, ready to shoot when someone walked by.

The big tent attracted Adi's attention. And as usual he was curious. Upon approach, he read the sign. Paintball War! Awesome! He had never taken part in one of these before but it was never too late. He was pleasantly surprised after stepping into the tent. Trees, bushes, ditches... cool!

So he should just find a place to hide until he found targets, yeah? How about that huge tree over there, towards his right? Adi stood behind it now, peeking out occasionally. Who would be his first target?

Airey had been looking forward to this event ever since the prefects had pitched the idea and he had struggled with which activity to have a go at first. He was rather surprised at himself for not selecting racing first - always had the need for speed - and was now making his way towards the paint ball area sans suit.

It was hard not being able to go to his muggle dry cleaners, you know? And since the man was a suit purist and refused to perform any magic on his suits outside of an Undetectable Extension Charm on his breast pockets...there was no way to keep them from getting dirty at the event. And he wasn't going to willingly hand them over to the house elves to clean. Nope. Only the charming couple that own the dry cleaners knew how to handle his suits properly.

Wait, was this a paint ball war or a Death Day Party?

Disappointed at the lack of action, the astronomer took it upon himself to get the ball rolling. "GONNA GET MIGHTY BORING AROUND HERE IF YOU ALL JUST KEEP HIDING!" he taunted, knowing full well that he had just opened himself up to being bombarded by Pingo spells. But that was why he had worn clothing he was not particularly attached to today. Heh.

Wand out, Airey began pointing it wildly around the area. Time to give the place a splash of color. "PINGO RED!" he repeated over and over again, shoot off gobs of red paint all over.

Nigel did the unthinkable and actually volunteered for something that could ruin his hair. Getting paint in his hair will cause a lot of problems for himself later. Mostly just increase the time he spends in front of a mirror and try to make sure no paint was in his hair.

Anyway

Not really wondering where Lex is at the moment or if she will hit him with the paintball spell it make sure it works. Not that he would retaliate or anything. He would. It seems that someone was already here. Being camouflaged is a lot more fun than Nigel will like to admit.

Waiting for more people to enter the area..tent...thing. His bright idea is to just hit them all with magenta paint and remain camouflaged while doing it. Well look like Flamsteed is the first to fire off the shots and Nigel would be more than happy to follow up. Red and Magenta paint everywhere. Nice.

"Pingo Magenta"

Nigel cast at everyone he saw. Expect Lex and the gryffindor guy with the decent hair. Since she was off doing her own thing and the guy was off doing something. Even randomly Flammy got him with some paint.

Talk about lucky.

Zoe smirked as more people appeared in the tent and waited for Professor Flamsteed to start firing off colour at people and took aim at the same time "Pingo Green!" she said shooting a paintball towards him, before ducking behind the bush again.

Nigel entered the tent next, and she pointed her wand at him but ducked down behind the bush again when magenta came flying at her. Looking up again she shot "Pingo green" at him as well. Hehe, she really loved this game!

Connor pulled out his wand when he heard Professor Airey started to shoot paintballs in all directions and just like that it seemed there were more colors joining his red, there was now green and magenta! Merlin!

Connor did his best to dodge the shots fired, he was glad that his clothes were just random ones he didn't care about, because he was sure he was hit with a red one or two. He hid in the terrain. A large rock making decent cover. "PINGO BLUE!" He shouted and started to fire off toward the source of the other paintballs. This would be fun!

What was this!? Epic of course!!!!!

Hope had entered the tent and just in time to miss a splash of red paint that seemed to be flying everywhere from the wand of her favorite Professor. Hmmm....this could be really fun.

With quick footsteps that were quiet on the ground, Hope got as close as she could to Professor Flamsteed and said quite loudly, "Pingo Purple!" She didn't stay to watch if it had hit the target but dove behind a rock to stay concealed. Hmmm...who to target next?

He was totally content laying on his stomach in the ditch while he thought out his plan of action. That was until he was pounced on and his first thought was paint. "pingo white." sucked to be whoever that was. He also got some of his own paint on the shoulder of his shirt but it was totally expected and totally worth it. Glancing over his shoulder better when he heard the voice he let his eyes go wide a bit. "merlin! Sorry, Girlfriend." whoops. Why wass he on his back anyway?!

Then he noticed the paint flying elsewhere and he smirked to himself. "game time." peeking up from his ditch he saw the other colors flying as he casted more white in the directions from whitch they came. "Pingo White!" all over, towards Nigel and Professor Airey mostly seeing as how he shot off in their general direction.

They were SO gonna be the Paintball War champions of the WORLD, Maddie could FEEL it!

The first year zipped up her black hoodie and pulled the hood over her hair as she stopped JUST outside the tent entrance, rounding to face the two boys she was with. "So what's our plan of action, guys?" Whispering happened, Maddie's tone serious as she searched their faces. They needed a PLAN and a GOOD one at that. "We're small so we have THAT going for us."

...Never mind she'd never used the spell for this before. YEAH. PSH. They were STILL gonna WIN.

This whole prefect thing sounded SO COOL. And Kyroh was excited. So excited that the first year had even failed to notice his companions shirt. But if he had noticed before she had hidden it away, he probably would have changed his excitement to that. So it was good he didn't? Reaching for this cap he turned it so the brim was backwards. Yeah. That meant that he meant business.

Plan of action? "Uhhhh" Kyroh gazed up at the tent where ALL THE FUN happened."We run and hit other people before they hit us?" GRIN. That's how this game was played right? That sounded like a good plan to hm!!

Paintball! Hayden made a beeline for the large tent the second she entered the Great Hall. She hadn't ever really played before, but it sounded really fun. As soon as she'd heard about it she'd been really excited to play. So there she was, dressed in clothes she was not particularly attached to and ready to play. The only thing left to do was practice and master the spell, seeing as it would be her only weapon. She paused outside the tent for a moment and surveyed what was going on out there. She waved at Maddie, who appeared to be planning a strategy or something. Hayden didn't really have a strategy but, without another thought, she entered the tent.

With her wand gripped tightly in her hand, Hayden followed the edge of the tent to find a strategic place to take cover for the moment. She stopped behind a fairly large log a fair distance from where the action was taking place currently. Hayden was small enough that when she sat down not even the top of her head was visible from the other side of the log. She pointed her wand at a tree not far from her and whispered "Pingo Yellow." Nothing happened. Hmm, she tried again. "Pingo yellow." She kept her voice low so as not to alert others to her location just yet. Being able to cast nonverval spells would really come in handy at a time like this. The second time she tried the spell and tiny while ball shot out of her wand but missed the tree. So she'd sort of done the spell, but her aim was terrible. "Pingo yellow." Even though her voice was soft her tone was insistent. Each time she'd done the spell it had gotten a little better, and this time the ball of yellow paint was slightly larger. Still not ideal, but it was better than nothing and she had been in one place for too long.

Hayden moved from her spot but kept toward the outside edge. She didn't want to get into the middle of things just yet, but if a fight found her she was more than willing to jump in. For now, though, she was surveying what was going on and calculating what her best move would be. What she really wanted was to find someone she knew, or even someone she didn't, and form an alliance. Two people were stronger than one after all.

This was a perfect idea for an event. Seriously. Penelope needed more things to get her energy out, especially since they'd been stuck inside for what seemed like forever, and this event was a great way to do that. And the BEST option at this event?

Paintball war.

Yes, this would be loads of fun. She was totally ready for this. BRING ON THE PAINT, YO.

Was that Flamsteed NOT wearing a suit? Huh. Had that ever happened before? The Gryffindor wasn't sure. He was already being attacked by loads of others though, so this was the perfect time to find a good hiding place before she started targeting people.

Scurrying off to the side a little, she ducked behind a couple trees. This would be good for the moment. Now to wait and watch...

That voice...that LOUD voice. That was definitely the Astronomy Professor. The very one he was trying to avoid with all his might because he had stolen his blanket out of revenge. Luckily, Kevin was hidden behind a fallen log so he wasn't easy to spot. But he knew he couldn't stay in hiding all the time, that was just boring and Kevin was an attacker anyways. So he shifted his body to look over the log just in time when red colored paint flew in his direction.

Ducking swiftly, the paint flew over the top of his head making the top of his natural black hair have a streak of red in it. He was unaware of this though and as he got back up to fire back to the man his eyes caught sight of an older Gryffindor (Penelope) scurrying off somewhere to his side. He grinned to himself as he crawled from out out his hiding space, ran to the nearest tree and pressed his back against it.

He held his wand in front of him, took a deep breath and jumped out, running to the next tree closer to the girl and shouted "PINGO BLUE!" a couple of times in her direction before he hid behind another tree.

Tag walked into the paintball tent and looked around. Excuse us. Where was the paintball equipment? Hmmmm. Tag wanted the real deal. Oh well. The paintball war was was still thought of so he would be playing it either way.

Immediately he saw paint on everyone and paint flying out of everyone's wands. Or at least to those who weren't hiding. The boy ran to duck behind a tree log just to see what was going on, who he could attack, or if he needed to figure out some sort of strategy. He watched everyone, running from one tree to another tree, eventually to try and get a better scope of the place.

The blonde thought he saw something, and pointed his wand in the general direction and said, "Pingo red!" flicking his wand and hoping he would hit whatever it was that was around the corner.

Also, having to say the spell to get the paint spluttering out of the wand, kinda gave away one's hiding place. No?

Peaking into the tent, Medea took a small step inside and stared around. Goodness, these prefects events were always marvelous to attend, though it wasn't the attraction of the mysterious looking tent with the giant "Paintball War" letters upon it that had her peaking inside. Of course, she'd certainly have showed up sooner or later, but she had to seeeeeee if she actually saw what she saw a moment ago.

There was a non-suited professor in here somewhere. And paint. Lots of paint! EEEEEEE!

Ian decided on paintball. Of course he would. It seemed like a fun the to do. He read the rules, because rules were important. He recognized he needed to be prepared to take a few shots as he entered. He had heard Adi say he'd be coming in here so he started looking around, his wand at the ready. He had decided he was going with yellow because he wanted his targets to know it was a Huffie hit them.

BRING ON THE GAMES!!!!

There was absolutely nothing that could kill this for her. Snow outside? What snow outside? Who cared???? She could frickin' shoot at people without a detention at the other end of the line. This was just what the Gryffindor needed and exactly why she pushed for it and ran around asking Professors to help with the illusions and stuff because paintball war? Yes please!

For a while Lex stood outside the entrance, making sure people read because Merlin knew she would levicorpus out the first idiot to break one of the rules but then she heard the shouts inside and the door lost it's appeal real fast. Just as she stepped inside she saw the Professor (Medea) stick her head in then enter. Was she looking for soooomeone? "Pingo blue!" And a wide grin before Lex ran off into the forest to find the others. "Look alive Professor!" Welcome to the war!

Easier spotted was Probably Professor Airey shooting at everyone. Nice. "Pingo Blue!" Refreshing against all that red, no? Whirling around she caught sight of Kevin jumping out of hiding to aim at...Penelope? Two targets but only one she'd been dreaming of worse for a while. Oh yes. "Pingo Orange!" No blue for you kid.

She could have aimed at Penelope next but after being left so exposed she doubled back into the trees heading further in for cover. That's when she came up to a ditch and a head coming out of that ditch. Without much thought Lex hopped in, nodding at him (Jeremiah) and Bev, putting a finger to her lips before peeking out again. "Great cover you guys got here but we're missing out down here. See those ickle 'Claws?" She asked, pointing her wand over at Maddie, Kyroh and Dima. "I say we rush 'em on three." Well team? Temporary team? In the long run Lex worked alone but this could be fun.

The only thing that Dima was noticing? Maddie wasn't in a hat like the boys, which was a problem. What if a paintball knocked her out? That would be bad, 'cause she was the brain of their operation, and Kyroh was the cute, and he brought the toast. But WHAT was cute toast without a brain?

Brainless cute toast, that was what.

Maybe the hood would protect it, though, and they wouldn't get bludgeoned to death with wet colors.

"Or we could climb trees! Hit people from up there? Behind some logs or bushes? In ditch? We hide and CONQUER." Yeah! Tiny people were hard to notice, ESPECIALLY when stuff was obscuring them from the vision of others. Dima thought that sounded like a swell plan.

Also, to Maddie, "Do you need headgear?"

Penelope was focused mostly on the entrance, planning on targeting someone as they came in when they were least expecting it. She kinda forgot about someone possibly sneaking up on her from behind, but she was assuming that people hadn't really gotten that far in yet - most seemed to be pretty concentrated up around the entrance area.

Of course, she was wrong, and so she received a splatter of paint across her back. She spun around - and received another shot of paint against her forehead. Merlin's beard seriously? She muttered a couple words under her breath then wiped a bit of the paint away to make sure it didn't get into her eyes and looked around. WHO had shot that paint at her? Whoever they were, they were hiding...but she'd get them back. Somehow. Mhm.

It made her more aware of everything now though, so the Gryffindor heard another spell being cast nearby - catching a quick glimpse of Alexa shooting some spells - and ducked just in time to avoid getting hit with red paint from...Tag? Looked like it came from his direction. BUT even if it hadn't...

"Pingo purple!" she cast with a quick grin before moving to get a different hiding place.

"That's a reckless plan, Freckles." JUST saying. What was he, a GRYFFINDOR? Hopefully Dima had something more stealthy in mind for them because Kyroh's plan was FUN but it also meant they'd be covered in paint in NO time and Maddie wanted to WIN.

The twelve year old was momentarily distracted when she caught sight of someone waving to her? The brunette tilted her head and eyed Hayden thoughtfully before waving back, a smile playing on her lips. The Hufflepuff was okay, the first year had decided. Maybe even FRIEND material. Yes, the F-word. She was getting more comfortable using it now. Friend. Friend. Friend. ...Kyroh and Dima were totally to blame for this. BOYS.

Yes. YES. "Now THAT'S a plan!" Hide and Conquer! Maddie liked this VERY much. If her and Dima could hide during CLASS out in the OPEN, surely the three of them could go unnoticed in a WAR ZONE. Well, as long as Dima didn't set anyone on FIRE this time.

Headgear? "Nah, I'm good." GRIN! "Let's do this, yeah?" The brunette bounced excitedly and gave each boy a gentle nudge in the shoulder before tip toeing her way inside the tent and then crouching down and searching for their first hiding spot.

"There's a bush," She whispered, motioning her head to the right. Her wand was out now too, just in case.
